Izmir

I have tried 8 or 9 from this house. Each is wonderful. Izmir, is the perfect summer scent to my nose. Smell so damn good. Izmir has a couple DRAWBACKS. FIRST, the fragrance has a very light PROJECTION. As another reviewer states this one is to impress a significant other as one would have to be close to appreciate the glorious scent. SECOND, is the LONGEVITY, on my skin the fragrance doesn't last very long. Hopefully, my bottle improves with time because this fragrance is wonderful. It should be noted that I bought the old bottle/formula. It has since been reformulated and the reformulated version might be improved the aforementioned drawbacks. I will buy a sample of the reformulated version when my bottle runs in hopes they have improved the projection and longevity. If so I will buy another bottle because this is full bottle worthy.

This one is my absolute favorite in the entire collection, although I must admit I love them all. Highest quality of the ingredients that you can possibly find on the market. The oils, herbs, musks, and ouds they use are out of this world. Every time I spray myself,I go to the gym, wash, and still can smell the luxurious aroma, stays on my clothing the longest. Izmir is MAGICAL! it's fresh, but not like anything you've smelled before. Has so many surprises, undertones and layers-you will be amazed! I want every scent in the collection, When I put them on-everyone turns around, smells asks what do I wear...its crazy, even from afar people do appreciate it. I've tried them all -they last long and the sillage is amazing. they are UNIQUE, GOURMAND, AND LUXURIOUS. the entire line is heavenly !

Light, fresh and fruity opening with faint floral accents. Really feels like a sister scent to Akdeniz, where Akdeniz features a pineapple flavor brightened by tart citruses and Izmir flips it by featuring citrus flavors (esp. orange) softened by sweet pineapple. It even has the same slight A&F Fierce / blue / shower gel undertone that gives it an extra uplifting presence. Izmir lacks the leather and marine notes present in Akdeniz, however, and the drydown is fairly linear with the base notes never showing much. Moderate projection for 3-4hr, longevity 8-10hr.

The type of women who pucker their lips and raise their leg with their back turned to the camera won't like this fragrance. Opinionated and refined women however, love it. This fragrance will make women fall into daydreams of approaching you, taking your wine glass from your hand and putting it on the table, loosening your tie and unbuttoning your shirt. Most importantly, everytime you feel the aroma of this perfume, it will disperse the tastelessness and tackiness of all that is around you throughout your day.

There is something undoubtedly blue about this. The iris and rose mix with the vanilla and tonka bean to give off this soft, powdery effect. Personally, I don't get any pineapple, just a mélange of fruits with little citrus. It's a good scent, with great performance. However, it lacks depth and doesn't push the boundary in any way. Sample first; this house has some good stuff also.

It starts off fresh and citrusy, maybe a bit masculine leaning but still totally wearable for women. Shortly after, it evolves into a slightly sweet, creamy and fruity blend that I'm infatuated with. The dry down feels completely unisex. It's a compliment magnet. Performance is 10/10 on my skin. It has become one of my staples for the summer.

Whats the phisical and olfatory/performance diferences between the reformulared version and older version? How do i know each other? EDIT: old bottle is the one with the Black tag. I own the old bottle of This, is still projecting on skin after 18hrs. Beast

A beautiful clean scent that projects and is a very safe blind buy. I love this one. It could be the best from this house full of bangers.

It's really a very innocent and inoffensive fragrance, a happy fruity citrus (pineapple) with soft corners in every aspect. In reality, Izmir is a salty, humid, suffocating, grim, dirty and brutal metropolis. A city with as much evil as beauty. It doesn't lend itself to such a soft and gentle fragrance. I just wanted some salty sea breeze. Anyway, let's imagine it like this: my eyes are closed, my ears are closed to all the chaos, only my nose is ready to take a sniff... I have forgotten the name of this city and my childhood there. "Lovely, fresh, citrus with a nostalgic note... perhaps oakmoss? A hint of rose and the rest is just for cocooning! So innocent and so delicate." Thats all (: Notes: Citrus, Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Pineapple, Rose, Orris, Clove, Tonka bean, Vanilla, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Oakmoss.

Testing this blind from their discovery set, this opened with a citrus and light rosy-woodsy body. It didn't really change or morph into something else as it dries down or throughout the day. Maybe a little more powdery, but not much. While like many of its siblings from this house so far (I'm 5-6 into the discovery set) theirs a clear quality of not very big personality, and I'm mostly ok with that. This one being a bit more charming than others so far. Looking at the notes, I see why reflecting a well-balanced blend of the citrus, rose and earthy elements of oakmoss and sandalwood, and maybe clove (probably the least apparent note). Centrally unisex, it can go either way, and like others silliage and longevity are great, so who cares about how big it is if it performs so well.

It has a 8 hour longevity. Skin scent. You definitely won't make anyone notice you UNLESS they get close like when you're dancing and she will be amazed. It's a very nice smelling fragrance and the dry down is amazing. BEAUTIFUL!!! I blind bought this and I'm hoping it will get older and project a little bit. I would buy it if I wanted to impress my significant other. You have to spay a good bit also. I apologize that I am not good putting words to paper but sample first. Smells like it's mixed perfectly.

Quite a simple frag, opening is really fruity (grapeish) and floral reminiscent of Karagoz. As it dries down the fruit goes and you're left with soapy and floral notes that are pleasant but not particularly interesting. Great longevity and decent performance. To me its nothing extraordinary, and its definitely not worth the price. Completely unisex, kinda boring, don't love it but don't hate it.

It's like a smooth, well rounded fresh iris+pineapple version of Parfums de Marley's Percival, it has the same warmth to it without Percival's funk (I think it's the amber/musk). All in all, projection is moderate to strong and has really long longevity (+12 hours, I've gotten 15hrs one day). 7.5/10 fragrance.

Fruity floral medicinal and mediocre. Nothing really stood out. Yes, quite like Glorious which is an okay too. Has Avantus vibe as well a Bleu vibe but definitely just a vibe, nothing solid. Edit. After wearing for a while, the scent became more beautiful and made it into my like tier.

All I get from this a floral bomb but damn this is masterfully blended. Also it’s very feminine imo

Seems to be a Unique'e Luxury pattern but this is ultra long lasting. 15+ hours on my skin with above average projection for 3h. As for the scent, smelled much more feminine than expected based on the community feedback. I did pick up a floral tone of La Vie Est Belle - Valentino Donna (not so powdery/makeup-like, but ever-floral). Smells juicy in the opening and dries down to a beautiful skin scent. I do not get the reference/comparisons to Fierce-like fragrances. No Percival, Sauvage, Fierce, etc. However, Kajal Faris maybe due to how juicy the fragrance feels but still a different approach leaning much more feminine than Faris - gotta be that pineapple. Not full bottle worthy for me, but can see myself appreciating that on a woman.

First impression, I can't get over the fact that this smells like a fabric softener sheet. like all the others, it pushes off the skin, lasts 6-8 hours easy. Not a beast, but for a blue, it performs. I will come back after a few full wears. Update: There is not really much here. Very vague blue that is overpriced with good performance. Doesn't move me in the slightest. Good thing it was only a sample. I really couldn't say a specific note stood out, other than the fabric softener note.

When I first tried it, I thought it had the potential to be a great summer fragrance. Later, I bought a small decant and wore it a few times, but unfortunately, I’ve decided not to purchase a full bottle. On my skin, it remained very subtle, and the performance was quite average. It lacks presence, doesn’t have a clearly defined character, and doesn’t really stand out or offer anything distinctive. Unfortunately, it’s just not for me.

It’s a generic fragrance Wasn’t blown away or anything I don’t know why but I got the feeling that it lost what purpose it had I mean somehow not complete Longevity is good so is the projection

Izmir is my first encounter with the house of Unique’e, and what a bad first impression it’s made on me. I couldn’t tell you what any of the notes are without looking, mainly because it doesn’t smell like any of them in the slightest. It’s got this overwhelmingly sickening base layer of men’s deodorant. It transports me to gym changing rooms, a small box filled with men spraying their pits with no ventilation to let the aerosols escape. On top of this there’s a vague sweet and vanillic fruitiness, which is even more vile somehow. This is simple dreadful; thick, cloying, sharp and abrasive. You’d think for a brand which literally has the word ‘luxury’ in their name, that they wouldn’t release a fragrance which could quite easily be in a Lynx can.

I own 7 fragrances from this house and this one has the most poooor longevity man💔...so bad so bad

If I think about Izmir.. cuz that’s where I’m from I think about : Fig, marine notes, peach.. apple.. rose and some wood/leathery notes. This has nothing with that so I’m considering the name is wrong they mentioned something else or they don’t know where Izmir is..could that be? Anyways smells a bit generic but a strange opening, fresh fruity and some floral thing and that floral thing makes this nah.. keeps the same almost trough the whole 8 hours I smelled it. It’s better then the most fruity ambroxan kind of freshies but not worth the price tag! For that price you could smell much better in the summer. But for what it s in his category it’s one of the bests

Izmir being the biggest Turkish city on the aegean sea, i was expecting a perfume of aquatic or marine notes, something summery, watery, fresh...etc. But this one has a fruity floral vibe, not in a fresh bright way. I find it too dense and earthy to be a summer fragrance. There is a prominent off putting sharp fruity accord to me that i could not enjoy. I think coming from the rose combined with the pineapple. Overall i find this a bit generic, at this price point you expect more character and depth from a perfume.

Izmir, or Smyrna, is a cosmopolitan city in Turkey, a stronghold of liberality. It has known, for better or worse, many peoples, who have imbued it with witnesses from all over the world. This is a particular fragrance, opening with citric pineapple, fresh and slightly sour citrus fruits, which soften an elegant floral part and an earthy and distinctive patchouli. It is truly one of a kind, fresh and deep, with an underlying grandeur that cannot fail to please lovers of more complex fragrances.

Not a fan of the opening. The opening smells like a very classic and pretty boring masculine perfume. Then it becomes more floral and sweet, but I do not like it. I find it pretty boring and too classic for my tastes. It's definitely a great, high quality daily signature scent, but from that brand I expect things to be a bit more daring. Performance isn't as good as their other offerings, but it's still above average.

Nice fragrance for the summer. Very poor longevity, gone in an hour. Edit: 7/26/26 after 10 mins becomes a weaker soapy fragrance without any flow or layers, just mashed together. Not blended well at all, sucks especially for a luxury fragrance. They need take this off the market. Scent of peace is 10x better.

Will do a more in depth review later but I will say that its more feminine than masculine. Akdeniz is much more masculine and smells like a saltwater pool.

Içine iris kaçmış Aventus. Gerçi iris çok silik ama listede var. Kolleksiyon için en çok bunu beğendim. Yaz kış kullanılır ve her ortama uygun.
