Kutay

Kutay is a proper potent perfume, and it delivers what it promises. The notes are pinpoint accurate in this perfume. From opening Whiskey accords surrounded by bitter Davana, soothing the edges with lemon. Caramel sweetness in mid isn’t syrupy sweet but perfectly paired to sooth the bitterness. Oud is all around the fragrance but not very loud, it is more woody than fecal, again perfect amount of oud to take the perfume into the heart of it! The projection is sooooo strong you can’t hide the beautiful aroma. Longevity is insane that even after 8 hours you are not into the drydown. But when it starts to drydown, you get this harsh but beautifully blended tobacco notes, alongside very very light vanillin undertones, and oud also mingles with these tobacco and vanilla notes. Tobacco although here is harsh but very beautiful and you can smell it throughout the whole wear from start to finish. This is heavenly perfume, i don’t understand why this is so underrated on frag community. I blind bought this gem from a discounter and from my 30+ niche perfume collection, this is by far the most interesting, most well crafted perfume i have. Note: This does NOT smell like Baraonda at any point, i can say this because i have Baraonda too, the whiskey note in the initial spray is little similar but Baraonda’s whiskey note is very soft and warm and photorealistic, whereas Kutay’s whiskey note is very loud and sweet and blended with other ingredients! A proper 10/10 perfume for any collector! Smell: 10/10 (depends if you like loud harsh bold dark brooding perfumes) which i definitely prefer ♥️ Longevity: 100/10 ETERNAL! Literally, sometimes i get nose tired from this perfume if i have applied it later in the day and it still projects like crazy when iam trying to sleep. Uniqueness: 100/10 Again, this doesn’t smell like any high end niche perfume on the market, this is very very unique, blend to perfection, with every note showing up! Sillage: 100/10. Unstoppable!!! Indoors, outdoors, party, clubbing, gymnastics, sports, it fills the air everywhere! What a gem of a perfume!

In preparation for this bad boy coming in the mail I decided to throw on Baraonda. I fell in love with that fragrance with its photorealistic whiskey top note. It’s really hard to compete with that fragrance honestly... The rose thats added is masterfully blended and it just smells gorgeous. There is one problem. I feel like I need to savior the nasamatto bottles because I got 30 ml for $150 which for price per ml is pretty stiff. So I would only spray that sparingly. Kutay is fantastic! I do also get photorealistic whiskey... but more-so this just evokes the feeling of drinking. Essentially you smell like you’ve been drinking alcohol. The opening especially so—because it’s fruity as well. It reminds you of being at a bar with different smelling cocktails all around you. Kutay has managed to some how capture that essence in a bottle and to me thats really cool and unique. This is similar to Baraonda in the fact they both have whiskey and thats about it. I would say Kutay takes a different turn it smells like honey at one point from the caramel I believe. I quite like it and I got a 100 ml for $185 which is a better cost value than the other stuff. I love boozy fragrances and if you love boozy this won’t disappoint at all. Lets be clear though this isn't a versatile fragrance its specific. To me, this is an oriental style boozy fragrance. I enjoy the opulence and I think this could be dressed up and enjoyed on many occasions. I think this whiskey is also playful and I could see someone wearing this to go out and party as well. This is one of my favorites and If I had to choose between this and Baraonda I wouldn’t I would keep both that's how much I like this style. If you like photorealistic whiskey with power than sample this. Also now that I think of It this also reminds me of the Jack Daniels with Carmel or Honey. It may seem off putting to smell like you’ve been drinking incessantly but to me it screams masculinity and its just fun to wear. 10/10 Cheers!

This is some insane stuff! Truly love it. People saying buy Baraonda yada yada yada, Baraonda is better etc... Keep yapping. They both sit equally next to eachother. None is better than the other. They both have equal quality. But present themselves differently. Baraonda is drier, more airy and a touch brighter in comparison. It is lighter (still dense) and becomes more intimate compared to Kutay. Still, extremely strong and amazing performance lasting hours. Kutay is overall sweeter and more dense. In a way, even more boozy than Baraonda. It's thick, syrupy, extremely boozy and blasts projection immensely while sticking on you easily for a whole day and on clothes it can last days. Literally days! Imagine Baraonda as a nice single malt whisky that has been peated slightly sitting in rum barrels. It's drier, a touch smoky and woody but also has a certain sweetness going through it. Kutay is like a nice barrel proof bourbon. A touch more sweeter (syrupy) and has more of oaky kick. You get more caramel, vanilla, chocolate, oak.... But due to that extra oaky kick. It can come off as drier even though the liquid itself is overall sweeter, but it sure is sitting in nice sherried cognac barrels. They both are truly amazing. And I love both for what they are. But I will have to say. When it comes to value. While still expensive. Kutay hands down wins. No contest. Cheapest I've seen Baraonda for is $240 AUD. Remember. That's 30ml. Kutay I've seen $260 AUD. That's 100ml. So if you want 100ml ( 90ml ) of Baraonda you're looking at a whopping $720 AUD. You can get two bottles of Kutay and still have money for something else like Atkinsons Pirates Grand Reserve... Which is another amazing rum fragrance. Overall, Kutay is mind blowing good. And I have the black bottle. God tier performance and projection. But if possible, try testing it out before pushing the button. Not blind buy safe.

Kutay brings in projection on another level. 2 sprays can be enough to fill a room. Genuinely insane how far it projects, even in public settings when there’s wind blowing against you it can be smelt from atleast 2 meters away. It’s genuinely crazy how far this scent projects. Plus it easily lasts above 12 hours. Maybe close to 14 to 15 hours. I found Kutay’s scent to be extremely unique like no other. You get a rich lemon and whiskey start, slowly drying down to a tobacco, caramel and amber smell. One of the most unique and maybe in my opinion the best tobacco scents out there. The oud isn’t overpowering and it isn’t the main note for this scent. The real magic happens with the mix of tobacco and the caramel. It provides such a unique scent, it’s smoky due to the tobacco yet I always do get this saffron scent alongside the whiskey note. It’s hard to explain but it’s genuinely amazing. Kutay reminds me of an Ottamen Empire palace, filled with wealth and authority. This scent can be used in formal occasions like work and meetings but at the same time I do think it can be worn in casual outtings, but may be too powerful for a date night. It’s better for a more open area due to its crazy projection. However be careful when spraying, I tried putting 3 and I just tasted it in my mouth for a while. The price point for this fragrance isn’t too crazy, around the standard niche price but for something this unique and with a beast mode performance I think you get a pretty good bang for your buck. This is one of the perfumes which took me ages to get I wanted to get Baraonda, and then I saw a post online, and someone was saying that this stuff was way better than Baraonda, so I switched my Wishlist a bit. It took me around 2 months to find it (I managed to find only half of the bottle), but it is absolutely worth the time I spent on finding it. On my skin, it lasts for ~22-23 hours even after taking a shower, and on the clothes, it's 7+ days without any issues As for the smell, for me it smells like some good old whiskey with melted caramel inside of it, and this smell lasts for ages, people can smell me from quite some distance away, and I like the feeling. When I used it first, I had a feeling that I was like a Super Saiyan, emanating energy to nearby passing people☻ If you get a chance, test it out and see for yourself, but this fragrance is not for beginners! I've had Arabians Tonka and Kouros, some known nuclear fragrances, but this is the only one I'm able to smell just from taking off the cap. One spray and I'm met with a brick wall of oud. It takes about a minute for everything to unfold. Once the alcohol dissipates you'll notice a huge amount of oil concentration on your sprayed area. That's when the whiskey-caramel combo starts to show. It's got maltiness that you don't get with other boozy fragrances. It's at this point when the fragrance is the most exciting. But after around 30 minutes it starts to smell like coconut oil on steroids, which is all but you asked for. I guess the only "safe" phase of this fragrance is the far drydown, where it starts to smell like vanilla with citrus-floral undertone. But, I don't know man. Right now, I can't see myself wearing this unironically, but I can't stop sniffing my arm. Also I got to add, sniffing this through the atomizer now, it smells like straight up whiskey, which I'm in love with, but not in a "I wanna wear it" type of way.

Hi people! I have Kutay. I could not describe how amazing it is. You need to try it. It is a must blind buy, that I can say easily. If you love strong perfumes, I mean STRONG. When you spray1-2-3. The end. Full room will be Kutay. It is a very realistic whiskey perfume that I have ever used. Super high quality, you can feel it. I also love the boxing. It has an artistic cover outside of its box. It is amazing. Definitely a perfect gift for boy friend or husband. You will smell for hours!! And you smell rich. So, if you are into a boozy fragrance just go and buy it. I highly recommend. It is not an every day perfume. I can say it fits better for nights, and maybe a little cold weather (or cooler, but definitely not a summer fragrance). It is 100 ml, so you can use it for months. That means it worths every cents. People say it is a copy of Baraonda, but this Kutay is even more better than Baraonda. More longevity and projection, and its whiskey and tobacco note is more realistic. I would go for Kutay.

Seriously one of the most 3 dimensional, luxurious, aromatic and full-bodied whiskey scents I've smelled so far. This is such a sexy and sharp booze you'd almost forget you were wearing a fragrance. I might need rehab from my sample. At first you get hit with a snappy citric and green opening that in minutes turns into the most potent caramelic whiskey body with a realistic dry tobacco. It is never sweet but rather has a very intense malty aroma like warm barley used in the distilling process of whiskey. The natural and soily, yeasty, boozy richness from the cooked cereal grain is present in Kutay. This fragrance is intoxicating, long-lasting and heady (strong) and I hope Unique'e continues to have it available in its current strength when I'm ready to purchase. - Breezy fall evening with a fuchsia sky.🌄 Orange leaves are floating in the wind.🍂 Spirit in hand. Alone on the balcony of my local eatery... I drink 🥃 ... exhale... 9.5/10

If you like masculine bosy scents, this is for you 👑 A three-dimensional scent, luxurious, luxurious, and very masculine, with fantastic performance🔥👌 A refreshing, green, citrusy opening that the whiskey (an industrial note only) tightens its fist and does not spoil it until after hours ,,, the caramel increases the fragrance sweetness that the wearer desires to drink it! Cypriol oil comes into the line, making the fragrance warmer to warm! Oud is thin and light. (Imagine yourself sitting in a street in ancient Istanbul with a big sheikh in his shop to sell rare herbs and old sweets loved by our ancestors as gifts, rising from inside the faint smoke of oud, oh God!) The fragrance dries on a luxurious warm cream base that is a thing of the imagination especially with the masculine touch of tobacco You sure have never smelled it! ⚠️ Beware and do not get carried away .. The second I sprayed this I thought : did I just spray Fan Your Flames ? The first few seconds are shockingly close. It opens with a massive coconut burst, with booze and tobacco. Exactly like in Fan Your Flames. But this only lasts a few seconds. It then developps into a very realistic whiskey, but I can still smell coconut in the background, I'm really surprised this doesn't appear in the notes. The first few minutes aren't that appealing to me, but the dry down is incredible. Smooth, boozy, sweet, almost creamy. This is very loud and daring so I would be very careful about where I'd wear this, this is really really strong. Really love it, but this is not joining my wishlist for now. If you love boozy fragrances, you must try this one. I'm really really surprised more people don't think this is reminding of Fan Your Flames.

When I found out this fragrance had whiskey and was compared to Baraonda by Nasomatto I said to myself "I need this" I mean I blind bought it and no brainer one of my best purchases ever!, This starts of with a blast of tobacco and whiskey like immediately I felt like I was in a rich guys crib top shelf whiskey in hand and smoking an Arturo Fuente Opus Cigar like just filthy rich then after a couple of minutes the caramel with a hind of oud sets in but it ain't cheap or off putting in any way, the elements of the fragrance are well blended and performance is just to the extreme as I live in a tropical country (Philippines) so this is power in a bottle! also as compared to Baraonda the whiskey and tobacco here stays till the dry-down and that's just perfection! this is a solid 10/10 in my book, Highly recommended. 🥃🚬

Be mindful a lot of these "reviews" have ulterior motives. Like Wesley Snipes said in the movie Passenger 57, "always bet on BLACK." The inferior quality/performance black bottle narrative is fake news. This fragrance is a bonafide showstopper, box-office compliment magnet. A woman literally approached me outside while with her husband to tell me she caught my sillage & it smelled amazing, she needed to know the cologne name so her husband could get lucky. Then later on the same evening while picking up food the female attendant starts laughing with me & reveals the ladies all the way in the back love my fragrance. By the time she handed me my order several woman rushed up front cameras in hand requesting to take a picture of the bottle. Now I know how Thanos felt when he collected all the infinity stones.

This is a True masterpiece from this house. The most realistic whisky note I have ever smelled. Imagine opening a bottle of whisky and smelling it, that's how this fragrance opens. The bergamot and lemon gives this fragrance a bright opening. After a couple minutes it transforms into a nice boozy, woody, sweet, oriental, slightly smoky fragrance, I don’t smell any oud. The caramel and vanilla gives it that nice sweetness what this fragrance needs. The performance is out of this world, I can smell it all day on my skin and weeks on my clothes. If you like the smell of whisky and like boozy fragrances, this is the one for you. I got similarities with Nassomatto Baraonda. But baraonda is way more sweeter than this . Kutay can easily be described as the ultimate boozy fragrance. From the first whiff I was taken into a memory of a single malt tasting session I had once attended. The whiskey note is so realistic that the wearer could very well be stopped by the Police for a DUI test. I get a bergamot splash in the beginning but it does not carry on for long. The main players are the whiskey and caramel which are well supported by the sandalwood/amber/vanilla mash in the background. To me, this smells like a bold statement in the world of perfumery. A perfect interpretation of what an Aristocrat should smell like. The performance on this is stellar, leaves a long scent trail that would have people look forward to their evening drink session at the club!

To answer your question cocogirl, I want to smell like this. My girlfriend wants me to smell like this and if all of her friends had the balls to say it, they'd tell you they want me to smell like this too. Now onto my review. I really wanted to write something negative about this fragrance and try to steer others as far away from it as possible but I can't. I just can't. This fragrance is amazing, so boozy, so sweet, so woody and so aromatic. The quality is great and the longevity and sillage are bonkers. It is not my signature fragrance but it is my favorite fragrance. It has been my favorite fragrance for a long time and I have yet to smell anything that even comes close to taking it's place.

Got a 2ml sample of this and sprayed it once on a piece of printer paper. Strong whiskey opening, almost like you spilled a glass of it on your sleeve. Super realistic smelling and eventually caramel, tobacco, Oud, etc back this up and it becomes a fantastic experience. The whiskey remains prominent but everything is so well blended. I threw out that piece of paper with Kutay sprayed on it, but the wooden table the paper was set on is still projecting the fragrance two days later as I type this with a glass of bourbon in hand. I wish this was sold in a 30ml or 50ml bottle instead of just the 100ml because that’s enough juice for 3 generations.

Okay yeah, if you really are only use to designer fragrances that are generally sweet or fresh out of the shower, THIS! Will without a doubt not be a good option for you.. However if you do like whiskey and real boss like character, this is for you. The opening hits you over a head with a 50LB dumbbell of whiske lemon and bergamot with hints a caramel. After that the dry down is simply beautiful, the oud and caramel and oil really come through and is such a delight. Fall and winter time ONLY! It would be offensive to wear this is in high heat and is easily a DUI in a bottle 😂. 12+ hours of performance Excellent Juice for price 9.6/10

Whoo boy! This here's strong! 2-3 sprays should last you 2-3 days. Don't know what others are talking about weak. Ebay samples maybe? Anyways, Whiskey and Tobacco are dominant here. It's surprisingly not an overly sweet mix, which I expected. Certainly not as sweet as TF TbOud. The Cypriol adds a touch of astringent which is smoothed out with the vanilla and sandalwood, making for a very manly and refined composition. Definitely not blind buy safe, especially for the price, and you'd better not overspray or you will pay. I laquered my coat a week ago. Still smell it everyday...so I bought a full bottle! 🤟

This. Is. Mindblowing. I'm new in perfume but sniffing this, i just know this is not your ex boyfriend scent. Smell so boozy, luxurious, masculine yet pleasant. The whiskey note is quite strong, i dont recommend this to ex alcoholic. Projection is strong yet it is not harsh, i get 4~5 hours. Longevity? I'm not exaggerating, it's literally reaching 15 hours on my skin (took a shower once). I've read somewhere this perfume is not versatile but i kinda disagree, with just 3 sprays you wont offend anyone and could pull this off in every occassion. This a for a man with character, not for attention seeker.

Kutay is better than Baraonda! There, I said it. You might hate me for it, but that's the truth. I own both, and don't get me wrong, both are wonderful scents. You won't go wrong with either. But Kutay gives you just that little more of the good things and a little less of the bad - A little more deliciousness. A little more oomph. A little more sniffing your wrist all the time. Out of 50 something fragrance that I own, from Niche houses to Designers and Clones. I now understand that the basic ones with a little edge always work the best, ALWAYS. My Most go to and Most beloved to me, My gf and as a compliment getter ones without an order are: YSL Myslf LV Imagination ADG Profumo MFK Oud Satin Mood Extrait Unique'e Luxury Kutay Initio Side Effect And layering LV Les Sables Roses with Ombre Nomade I know some are very very expensive, But yet my most complimented ones are the first 3 mentioned, Which are Classic scents.

first impression: chocholate, balsamic.. turn into.. whisky? i never smell and drink whisky in my whole life. so idk how whisky smells. but it reminds me of my dua black widow (kilian blackphantom). its different but some note alike (chocolate and something balsamic bothered me) yes i dont like it either. sold it. overall, its not my type. then i fell the burn sensation on my skin. oh come on. update 10 july 22. Forget the bulshit i wrote above. damn turn hate into love. LOVE THIS!

Kutay is one of the best fragrance for longevity and projection I have ever used.Seriously sprayed in the morning at 9 and at 5 pm was at my local shop and this guy asks what am wearing.Thats 8 hrs later.My son was playing football and he says he could smell me on the other side of the pitch.10 pm I could still smell it..2pm the following day. I could still smell it on my T shirt.36 hours later.No hype here.Best boozy frag.Well worth the every penny I spent and more.

I own both Nasomatto baraonda and Kutay, they smell very similar. Baraonda has a woody and a bit musky dry down so it smells a bit cleaner. kutay on the other hand has a woody and a bit smoky dry down so it smell a bit rough which i actually like. Kutay's performance is crazy strong much stronger than Baraonda. Kutay is well worth the price but make sure to test it first because it is not an easy wear. 25-DEC-2022

Probably my favourite cold weather fragrance. The whisky note in this is stronger, higher quality and just all round better than what you find in Barronda. I do love that fragrance too but value for money and performance wise this beats it hands down. 3 sprays is plenty and will stay noticeable for at least 12 hours on skin and days on clothes. If you like booze this is simply a must buy.

In my nose, this is Tony Iommi Monkey Special Edition with slight twist. Fresher, softer on the skin, but less boozy in the air. To me, Tony Iommi is bolder, more rock n roll, Kutay is smoother, more gentlemen. Both are masterpiece. After long observation, I noticed the dry down is more pleasant than Tony Iommi. It's similar to the opening of PDM Greenley or FA Aether.

I have over 40 fragrance Searching for the beast and the best fragrance made me binge buying all this 40 fragnance in an attempt to find that fragnance with the most perfect smell and performance May be i have arrived late, but kutay is literally performer on my jacket for more than 10 days, one spray could fill the whole apartment with the sexiest and boozy smell

This is very nice juice! It does smell like Baraonda to me but i haven't actually gave Baraonda a full wearing yet. This one though smells like a very good whisky, and it lasts a very long time, and projects very good for the first few hours! I think this is a masculin fragrance but would smell awesome on the right woman😍everyone should sample this!

Only problem with this frag is not for everyday,not for work and not for someone under 30 and defienetly for someone who has night life. Work of art. If you want to smell different and stand apart from the crowd, this is it. For me, this is more of an evening wear for night out with friends. For a more mature audience. Extremely photorealistic Whiskey note. Recommend trying it using a sample / decant because you have to wear it to experience the real profile. Shukran Habibi!

A DUI in a bottle. As a whiskey enjoyer myself, it's always nice to find something that PERFECTLY captures a smell of an alcoholic drink. The only time I would see wearing this would be any type of acceptable would probably be going to a jazz bar, a cigar lounge, or maybe on a nice nighttime date to an upscale Italian restaurant. 10/10.

This is photorealistic American white oak barrels in a whisky distillery aging room. Linear fragrance. To me, this is evenings and weekends only. This is not a work frag unless you want people to think you’ve been drinking. Overall it’s a very nice combo of whiskey, tobacco, dried fruit, and cocoa. BUT - you gotta like bourbon.

On first spray, i prefer Baraonda over this. That one has a more realistic whiskey note and appears better blended than this. But Kutay itself is very nice with more boozy and less sweet scent profile in comparison. You cannot go wrong with either. Both are supremely potent and statement making. Beastmode for sure.

Great fragrance, but spendy. There are several "look alikes", but the money I'd recommend AF Hafez's Cigar. It doesn't claim to be a "clone" and indeed stands on it own. Things this great don't usually come so many options. I think the illusion of excllusivity is vanishing...............in everything.

Idk why some people said their black bottles was weak, mine was strong af straight outta the box. Also i bought my black bottle twice, i sold the first bottle then i regretted it, so i repurchased a new one. Both were performing stupidly strong even without resting it from the courier effect.

Final Boss scent. Truly Truly Great. A scent you would imagine on a boss with a huge aura like Tommy Shelby. Truly Truly Great. Longevity with 1 spray is 12 hours + even with a shower at around the 8th hour :) Sillage is very very good you will always get beautiful whiffs of it. 100/10.

A sexy and amazing boozy fragrance!! This whiskey is aged and not some cheap stuff you get off of the shelf, it’s out of an aged barrel. The woods surrounding this fragrance are delightful with the sweet caramel to round it off, I’m in love 🙏🏽 beautifully blended.

Love this stuff, I had a 10ml sample of this and it quickly became a fave of mine. This was a compliment monster when I wore it! The Whiskey takes the lead, followed by this smokey, ambery, caramel sweet goodness! Love it! Currently waiting on the full bottle!

Lovely whiskey. Warm and cozy scent. I can’t stop smelling myself. If this were to be on someone special, what a wonderful thought. Whiskey mixed with tobacco and vanilla oud. Yes this does have both the Tobacco Oud and Tobacco Vanille vibe.

If you felt that baraonda from nasomatto is too much whiskey this one balanced it out One of the most intriguing boozy scents that l smelled I loved it and it performs beautifully One of the greatest from the house a must try definitely

It is indeed beast mood perfume. It would use it in a real cold days only, and no chances to use it indoors. It's heavy on whiskey and caramel which some hints of oud in the background. Great presentation and packaging.

I have the black bottle and i love this fragrance! The scent has similarities with Nasomatto Baraonda , but is more dark, heavy and sweet . The performance is great!
