Woud And Mood

There is a lot of sharp and clean oud in this one. Probably the cleanest ouds I've smelled, much cleaner than even western friendly ouds like the MFK line. This one is probably the most luxurious smelling oud roses that I've put my nose on. With that being said, the general public is still new to the smell of oud and rose. Proceed with caution. This one does not skimp on oud. The entire fragrance is sharp woody, a good amount of rose in the background. A totally dry fragrance in the sense that this has little to no sweetness in it. It opens sharp with the spices, but tries down and stays the same way throughout the entirety of the application. Sample from Beverly Hills Perfumery. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this one. There is not one that I hate from this house, except probably Kutay. Nobody asked for a photorealistic whiskey accord, especially when you're behind the wheel and Officer Rick is tailing you. This house has a specific DNA/backdrop/canvas that it uses to make all of their fragrances; an ethereal tinge of luxurious greenness to it, though it could be ambergris or musk. Like all of their releases, marathonic performance and great sillage. Spraying twice is already pushing it. Very excited to see more releases.

Woud and Mood is my recent discovery, and I’m absolutely falling in love with it. The opening notes are refreshing, featuring a blend of lemon (or orange, I’m not entirely sure) tea and a smooth saffron background. As the fragrance progresses, rose and oud emerge in the middle, creating a harmonious and well-blended scent. The oud is not overly animalic, while the rose adds a touch of sweetness that complements the woody notes. Woud and Mood is a complex perfume, sitting in the same realm as MFK Oud Satin Mood, but with a brighter and less sweet profile, making it more wearable. The longevity and projection are also impressive, lasting around 8-10 hours on my dry skin. I can't even begin to tell you how furious I am about this fragrance. I ordered it after ordering their sampler set and trying out the bottle that said Woud and Mood on the little box. That sample ended up being an amazing fragrance so I decided to order a full bottle of this. It just arrived and I sprayed it on and it smelled just like St DuPont Oud and Rose and it was nothing like the sample I tried. Well it turns out that the sample was a new fragrance called Woud and Mood Absolute that isn't even going to be released until September of 2024. Now I'm stuck with this disgusting bottle and $200 less in my bank account because Uniquee Luxury was too lazy to reprint a sample box and put the word absolute on it. Very disappointed.

First,this stuff is incredibly strong! Longevity,sillage, projection enormous! Can feel Oud Satin Mood with Oud Wood DNA all over the scent. While writing this it's hitting my nose that I'm thinking to get out of the house. Orange, lemon,oud,rose with just a hint of bitterness from tea ingredient. Granny scent .

Got mine in today and I can say this is AMAZING. If you’re on the fence about it GET IT!! you won’t be disappointed UNLESS you’re AMERICAN and don’t understand OUD. DONT BUY A OUD FRAGRANCE IF YOU DONT LIKE THE WAY IT SMELLS. ROSEY, WOODY, RESINOUS and OUDY!!! SECOND BEST IN MY COLLECTION AT THE MOMENT. OK BYE

Yes, a bit like Oud Wood and a bit like Oud Satin Mood, but the perfume is much more than simply the sum. This has tea and amber which made the blend much smoother and creamier. This is the third consecutive love for this house! My expectation keeps going up for this brand.

Jammy rose, oud and musk with a hint of ambergris. The fragrance evolves and there is a hide and seek between musk and rose. Great try for rose based perfume lovers. Not at all blind-buy safe. Above average performance. Shukran Habibi!

Those who said it compares to Oud Wood and Oud Satin Mood are spot on IMO. Very clean, vaguely medicinal uplifting oud and dark rose. Compared to other rose-oud fragrances the fresh top notes and presence of other florals here lighten it up slightly, but otherwise it's a very basic "Western" rose-oud you've probably smelled 100 times before. I like them, but this is rather unexceptional and not my favorite of the lot by any means. Like most rose-ouds, solid performance. Moderately strong initial projection for the first 2-3hr extending through 5-6hr, longevity 12hr+.

Whoever thought this fragrance smells of oud iam sorry but it doesn’t It’s a western take on oud raw oud doesn’t smell like this Though it’s a great oriental frag that is almost Middle Eastern I didn’t enjoy very much It was good but I wasn’t very gravitated towards it Longevity is good but projection offffffff it’s a room filler in the first 1 to 2 hours

Better on card than skin. A basic Rose Oud Cypriol combo when sprayed on the skin. But if you spray it onto card and wait, it is able to transform into something really beautiful.

I'm 3-4 fragrances in on testing this brand blind from their discovery set and this one in comparison is relatively mild. I got a general woody-rosy tone with some initial amber qualities, then it became a bit more powdery. I can't really say more because while it's clearly nice and the quality is there in sillage and longevity, it's personality (big or small) isn't really distinctive. In looking at the notes I'm sure they all add a little something to the fragrance's moodiness, but I can't place half of them. Curious to see what others are saying, it's pretty much the same: this fragrance is nice, but others do it better with more character. Then again if you want something that is more for a friendly intimate dinner with friends, this vibe is a safe bet and not trying to be fun, weird, or big.

It's not woody at all, not recommended by this house at all, unless you are 60+ years old woman.

Such a wonderful scent it’s has that Arabic spirit with silky metallic combination of Rose & geranium when it goes towards the heart it’s actually reminds me that Adeni Bakhor makes me feel home if you’re from the Middle East or familiar with still you would definitely understand what I mean it’s that spiritual side with that incensey combination of sandalwood & ambergri& musc which going to take around in in holy cities and the different occasions in the Arabic peninsula not totally unique but for sure stands on his own with that enormous sillage and longevity 🌹🌹

Everytime I avoid Oud fragrances: I find them too strong for my nose. And instead... Wood and Mood made me say wow. The Oud here is not animalic, it is softly accompanied by the other notes, among which I perceive saffron, which however is really just hinted at and does not make the whole thing "too much". This is definitely another oud rose combo with that sweet jammy rose accord that's popular in these fragrances along with a very nice sharp, clean oud. Oud can make a lot of these fragrances smell dirty, but this one is very clean and wearable. The other notes I notice from the opening are tea and a prominent orange note that I think sets this apart from similar fragrances. Recommended.

This smells like something an aging pensioner grandma would have worn in the 90’s. It’s so piercingly strong and not in a good way..I can think of a ton of Al-cheapo oud fragrances that are INFINITELY better than this...I suppose this is my just dessert for buying blind based on reviews...

Insanı rahatsız etmeyen bir oud-gül karışımı. Arka planda bu ağır ikiliyi hafifleten bir harman var. Ancak ilk 10 dakika sonrasında biraz kaos havası veriyor. Serin havalarda keyifli olacaktır. Ben biraz kara biber kokusu alıyorum ama listede yok.

Satin mood and oud wood blended together. You'd think this would be a good fragrance, it's not bad but I'd reach for the two I mentioned earlier separately. The rose is too strong whereas a lighter touch would've sufficed. It's just ok.
