this smells so floral and different from the sweet gourmand stuff i smell nowadays

NGL this was a blind buy because I liked the bottle. The first spray was INSTANT REGRET. I very rarely find a perfume to be straight up nasty. I know that scent is subjective, but come on, no company is going to spend a bunch of money mass producing something that smells RANK. Even if it isn't my thing, I can usually understand why somebody might like it. This though? Is that supposed to be peach?! It smells like what I imagine the inside of a warm can of half drunk LaCroix smells like mixed with hand sanitizer. It is not good at all. I don't like cloyingly sweet scents, but how is a peach not even a little sweet? And yet... after about five minutes I started thinking that it actually smelled kind of okay. Maybe. The extremely synthetic aspect started to fade and I guess I really don't like the top notes, even though peach is usually a favorite of mine. After an hour or two? MAGIC. I catch a whiff of myself and it is so nice! It is soft, clean, a little musky, a little woody, just the right amount of sweet. It lasts FOREVER. I love the way it stays in my clothes. The first couple of times I experienced this turn-around I doubted that it was really the SMS. It must have been some other lingering perfume with staying power that I was catching a whiff of. I get so burned by the initial smell, and so doubtful of the goodness of the dry down that it takes me a while between uses to try again, but every time I do it is the same thing. Nasty at the top, okay in the middle, and beautiful on the dry-down. I guess I'm not mad I blind bought it after all.

I believe this is under the new company United Colors & Prestige Beauty... In my opinion the smell hasn't changed, my mom is still a fan of this and did not notice a change. I would describe the smell as a soft white powder with tiny hints of floral.. this would be perfect perfume for a wedding!!

I'm so happy to smell this again. I've had the original "PARFUM" mini in my collection, but not the full size since the Nineties! It was one of my favourite signature scents because the smell always made me think of dandelions and daisies. It's beautiful. "Takes me right back" 🌻🦋😊💐 It's like the English countryside, it's herbal, it's very naturalistic, wildflowers and overgrowth in the sun. It makes me think of my childhood.

This brand is attempting to revive discontinued fragrances from the 80s and 90s. Sounds exciting but I'm not sure if I should blind buy. Has anybody tried this new version of Sun Moon and Stars? They even brought back Benetton's Tribu!

This brand just debuted a line of men's fragrances in the Sun Moon Stars family. I wonder if they're any good!

I had a bottle of this and a bottle of the vintage Lagerfeld. I'm happy to say they're identical.

Wish they had kept the metal lid!
