Go Naked Perfume Oil

I get a very pleasing blend of neroli, petitgrain, fresh notes, and amber, which I know is not a listed note; maybe it’s the blend of musk and a slightly indole-inflected warmth. Overall it’s cool and fresh. It’s a little bit florally sweet. Low sillage, possibly bigger in heat. Long lasting. Very happy little scent. Later: Okay, so it wasn't really an amber flavor I was getting; it was the salt notes along with the sweet. Also, I have to really work the rollerball to get enough oil so I can really feel the lemony citrus notes. Otherwise, it is only the neroli and petigrain, fresh notes, and salt notes that come out. Either way, very nice. :)

Overall, I would say this is a summer scent, beachy and fresh. At first application it is all lavender and neroli, but that phase passes quickly, and after drydown it becomes the scent of sun-warmed skin at the beach. I can't believe how many people are describing this as a citrus scent. I can't detect any citrus from it at all. I think it smells like vacation in a bottle and I love the rollerball.

Go Naked starts off quite intensely citrusy with emphasis on notes of bergamot and lemon. Give it 30 min and you notice more of the neroli musk and jasmine. It sweetens as it wears. while target market is female this can easily be worn as unisex scent. It's not too sweet nor floral. Very beachy summertime sun. I love it.

Mmmmmm naked! Smells just like sun warmed skin after having spent all say at the beach. I don't get a lot of citrus just a little at the beginning. Mostly smells like my skin but better. I think this is a summer scent. Only im planning on wearing nright now!!! Very sexy!!!

All of the reviews below that describe Naked as a sunscreen scent, beach scent, warm skin scent, vacation scent... are correct. It is quite unique and special, a great mood enhancer and the kind of fragrance that transports you to happy places.

Big dose of lemon and jasmine with a touch of musk. Very linear, nothing groundbreaking, but very pleasant. I just wish it was a bit stronger, less fleeting.

New favorite- smells like sunscreen, salt, and clean musk. Long-lasting. Obsessed.

How do so very few people know about this little 💎??? Randomly, I heard about this on YouTube. The reviewer said this was one of her holy grail perfumes and that she rolls this on right before bed to give that perfect your skin but better effect. It was really cheap on EBay. I think I got three for under $25. I am so happy to have found this! It’s a very well done ‘day at the beach’ scent. The salt, orange, neroli, musk and lavender come together really beautifully. It smells similar to Knot by Bottega Veneta to me but this one has better lasting power. I would say this lasts a good 5-6 hours on my skin. Sillage stays close but is detectable. Packaging is really cute and compact. There are only two faults I can find with this. Firstly, the rollerball on this sucks! I literally have to sit there for a few minutes and work with this to get the product out. Maybe my bottles are defective? That could explain why they were so cheap lol. ❗️BTW I finally learned how to fix stubborn rollerballs for anyone struggling like I am. Hold the bottle at an angle and press down firmly but carefully. Try moving the ball top to bottom while applying pressure. Try alternating to bottom to top movements also. If that doesn’t work, you can take something thin enough to pierce the barrier between the rollerball and the rubber banding on the sides. I used a small box cutter but that can end badly so you can use a bobby pin or a paper clip. Gently jimmy the sides so that the friction helps loosen the ball. The third option is to heat the rollerball and repeat the first process once it cools. You can damage your bottle by doing this so be aware that this isn’t ideal ❗️ So sad that this is discontinued by Urban Decay. The whole Naked line is circling the drain along with UD in general so I doubt they will be bringing this back. It’s a shame because this is a worthy opponent of the higher priced beach scents out there currently.

While a lot of people are saying Go Naked doesn't smell complex, I have to disagree because this one is a chameleon to me. The first time I sampled it at Sephora, I thought it smelled like luxe tanning oil by the poolside ala Tom Ford's Eau de Soleil Blanc. Now that I have my own fresh bottle, I can see why others are comparing it to Neroli Portofino and 4711. I got a lot more neroli and lemony citrus from this on the opening, and it dried down to a salty musk that reminds me of CK's Reveal but colder and with less oomph. I think the oil base may have coconut oil, because I can definitely smell something subtle in here that smells like sunscreen. I love this oil because it seems to be an amalgam of all my favorite summer scents rolled into one, and I plan on layering this with the scents I just mentioned. EDIT: Ahhh, the rollerball picks up everything on your skin and clouds the liquid. It started smelling more coconut-y. I think this changes with usage, don't know if that's intentional... it still smells good, but the citrus is muted and it definitely smells more like luxe tanning oil again. Chameleon!

Gentle citrus floral with a nice salty spiciness at the opening. Stays close to the skin. Longevity is excellent, as expected for an oil. Pleasant, won't offend anyone, but doesn't really stand out either.

I ordered this directly from the Urban Decay website and received it today. I must admit I'm a bit disappointed because I expected it to smell richer and more complex. What I smell is weak lemon blossom and a whiff of jasmine which fades after several hours. This claims to be a perfume oil, but it doesn't last like one. I think it smells very similar to Pacifica's Malibu Lemon Blossom. I think the bottle is cute and since I don't have any other UD scents, I'll be keeping this.

I'm obsessed with this scent! The first time I smelled it, I described it as smelling like the beach. The second time I smelled it, I bought it. I wouldn't call it citrusy... the bergomot, neroli, jasmine and orange blossom notes are prevalent, but I love the dry down soft musk scent. Not a complex scent. Perfect for summer.
