Macaron Pistache

On my skin, it's first a pistachio-flavored macaron with a creamy, milky filling. Smells exactly like the name. I also imagine a nutty vanilla cake topped with crushed pistachio and powdered sugar. Over time, it begins to resemble sweet buttercream with a hint of sharp tobacco and tonka bean. The only problem is that the projection is ~terrible~. The scent is very faint if you aren't close to the skin. That doesn't make me hate it, but it's still a tragedy since it smells so lovely imo.

it’s like okay. there’s a lot going on at first, i couldn’t tell that this was supposed to be a pistachio fragrance because it just smelled so much like bergamot. it doesn’t last super long and doesn’t radiate very far but it’s a good fragrance to use for a quick refresh.

i'm upset with myself for even buying this. i guess this is how i found out i hate pistachio scents? it smells so horrible when first sprayed that i didn't bother giving it a second chance. it smells plasticky, nutty, sort of savory, and like an old grandma all at once... it also smells even worse on my skin. :(

I smelled this in store at Urban Outfitters and it instantly reminded me of Kayali Yum Pistachio! I had that perfume (Yum) for about 2 months a year ago but ended up selling it because I couldn’t smell it on me after 1 hour even if I over sprayed on clothes (maybe I was anosmic to it) Anyway the pistache body mist seems to project better and last longer than yum! Will have to test more to make sure... I picked up the body oil but might go back for the body mist...! Edit: I tried the body mist on my arm. The top notes remind me of yum pistachio but the dry down is plasticky and soapy. The body oil smells good but the scent doesn’t last. Hydrates well

Every brand has been coming up with their own version of body mist lately. Boulangerie is doing it best in my opinion. Their mists last a long time (they compete with some of my edps). And they smell really good!! This one is so unique it smells fresh with that bergamot in the opening then the pistachio comes through with whipped cream in the dry down. It’s hard to explain how elegant this smells, I smell every note but it’s blended to perfection. Just wow!! 🍃🍵🌰🍦🥛
