Soufflé Vanille

Sweet and lightly fruity. The vanilla is actually not super creamy and it has a distinct pear note. Nice, but it’s pretty light and there are other similar perfumes that I like better, though this could be a cheaper alternative. I don’t get any rose but I do get a bit of caramel. Has minimal sillage and lasts about 3 hours. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Ariana’s Mod Vanilla: similar but creamier ✔️ SDJ ‘40: similar ✔️ The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods: similar but the vanilla is a bit stronger

I got a sampler of Boulangerie before. I don't know if I just got a bad batch of minis, but the Soufflé Vanille body mist was the shining star among the rest. I don't wear pear often, but this is really nice. It smells fresh, slightly aquatic, and warm. One day I wore this and it honestly reminded me of a juicy pulpy pear. If there would be anything I recommend from this brand, it would definitely be the Soufflé Vanille body spray.

To be honest, I am not a "body spray," type of girl. I like perfume, so please keep that in mind when reading my review. This is solely okay. There is nothing special about it. It is the type of frag you would grab just to have something on while you go to the grocery store or if you are lounging around the house. It is a beautiful vanilla, not too sweet. It's a grown vanilla. For what it is, the price point is not bad. I received this as a gift, but I honestly would not buy it.

Why does it smell reminiscent of a cigarette smoker when I spray it on my clothes?

Kind of not aptly named. The second I smelled it I recognized it smells exactly like salted caramel apricot (not aptly named either) from bbw which is an old favorite. I keep finding dupes of that scent everywhere. Golden sand by Al rehab smells just like it. Cashmere cedar, a popular fragrance oil in candles does, vanilla woods by 7 virtues is a slightly muskier version. This is that exact DNA again. Just a musky, sweet , amber, woody type of scent. Perfectly nuanced and sweetened. I'm guessing this is a fragrance oil like cashmere cedar that a lot of brands are using now and I'm quite pleased.
