Dark Vanilla

Non-gourmand vanilla. Dark Vanilla opens with a painting-like boozy woodiness, with some dirtiness. It transfers to some sweet powderiness featuring tonka, and then dry vanilla. Sometimes, heliotrope and almond appear, teasing me with a gourmand illusion. Overall, it is a nice non-gourmand vanilla, while 'Dark' in the name sounds to describe more a darker hue, than something of real darkness. The projection swings between average and below; I often find it hard to clearly detect it. Tested indoors based on the sample from my discovery set.

I've been trying this blend for more than 3 weeks now (gaps in between) in order to understand what makes it different than any other high quality vanilla based blend but I just cant fin out what! I mean dont get me wrong i like this blend but i just cant see any darkness in it! It's just a soft cute blend of vanilla with some of tonka, heliotrope, and bits of booze. When I talk about naughty, & erotic vanilla i turn to "Anima Dulcis" by Arquiste. Dark Vanilla is a cute intimate blend that could be a signature for those who adores the high quality vanilla. Very cute.
