Lost Paradise

Let me scream out loud first - "This is an olfactory orgasm!!!" Now let me write a proper review. It's a homage to 80's, even if you've never smelled anything from 80's. It' gives you this vibe, but at the same time it doesn't smell dated at all. Longevity? It lasted on my skin for 20+ hours and still stayed at ~24hour mark as a faint skin scent after a shower (and I spend at least 30 minutes in a shower) Silage? I did one small spray to my arm and it was projecting for around 6 hours from arm distance until I went to bed. It's osmanthus, with a touch of magnolia, there's some moss and it has a rubbery feeling to it, can be that a mix of moss, patchouli and musk give it. Nothing in it smells cheap or chemical. It's just amazing, exciting, it gives me olfactory orgasm. I honestly feel it's nothing unique, but at the same time I've never smelled anything like that! Lost Paradise is quite linear with little development - over the time you can notice that rougher edges are smoothed down and rubbery feel gets less pronounced and that's it, but it doesn't make this fragrance less exciting. It's totally unisex, but I can see some men would consider it being feminine, although do not buy that. As a man I can rock this with a biker leather jacket and bad boy attitude - it is going to be more masculine than lipsticky Dior Homme. The performance is so good, that you can get away with just one spray to your wrist. A bottle will literally last you a life time. Scrap my previous review, it's completely worth the 180 EUR for 100 ml for this beast! Well, unless you are a man with significant other - she (or he) might just steal it from you, it's so good. It's underrated gem and I hope you are not going to buy, because I want to smell unique, I want you to smell me from afar and be attracted to it's mysterious blend of white florals and earthiness. It is one of the most mind blowing fragrances I've ever smelled.

Woody Magnolia-Osmanthus. Lost Paradise opens with a lively sweetness (likely created from osmanthus and honey, it smells like a citrus gummy). Very soon, with the decorations of magnolia and medical patchouli. it passes to wet woody sawdust (I suppose it mimics oakmoss here, though I find it very different from the ones in traditional chypre.) The floral then gets more and more prominent, covering the woods. A refined and modern creation with good sillage and logevity. Very nice. This is my favourite among the 7 mainline of my discovery set. Overall, Urban Scents provide delicate yet easy-to-wear creations. I am surprised their offers have been so little discussed here.

Floral, but unisex and as a man I enjoyed wearing it a lot. It's been around 12 hours since I applied it and I still can smell it. However for me personally it's not worth retail price, I'd buy 30ml for 60-70 EUR, but 100ml is too much.

Honey magnolia, and sweet musky osmanthus. I don't see this as a chypre. It's an overdosed sweet magnolias with osmanthus, honey, musk, linden, and oakmoss. It's indeed powerhouse 80's like, and for the ones who adores magnolias. I personally used to love magnolias but not anymore so i see this fair.
