Femme by Usher

I'm truly baffled that pink pepper is not listed as top note and that this isn't being compared to Miss Dior (the 2017 version). To my nose, Femme is very reminiscent of Miss Dior. The opening is peppery and the fruit-chouli is prominent. It's a little less loud than Miss Dior, which isn't a bad thing. Sometimes, I regret wearing it to the office because it can choke people out with just 2 sprays. Femme has a little more oily quality, which I think keeps the sillage a little closer. This is a perfect scent for these shoulder spring days when the mornings and evenings are cool. Like Miss Dior, I can imagine this one also getting a little overwhelming in the absolute heated summer days. The bottle is minimalistic and compact. Some of the bottles these days are becoming pieces of artwork, which I can appreciate, but makes it very difficult for traveling. I have no problem throwing this one in my bag and taking it with me. The cork top is cute, but is overall, the componentry is so non-descript and says nothing about the juice inside. But for under $15 and smelling like a discontinued designer fragrance?! I'll take it!

Nothing to stop the press about, but I’m glad I grabbed this for $9.00 at a USA Ross discount store. It’s your basic fruit-chouli...don’t say you weren’t warned. If you don’t like a dirty, semi-abrasive herbaceous lingering patchouli, steer clear. I had this on for less than 2 hours & received a compliment. At this price, hose yourself down & get your money’s worth! The berries are jammy, the iris seems to be an old college try to copycat La Vie Est Belle anything, and honestly, doesn’t miss the mark for the price point. It lingers. Not with so much of a scent trail, but more of a bloom of a pretty fall-winter feeling that kicks similar, more pricey scents in the nose. The musk is Usher’ed in on top of a forest full of frosted cedar during the 4th quarter & both are there to stay. It’s an interesting morph that turns a bit clean & woody...like a furniture polish. If you’re a fan of Lancôme’s LVEB line, or Sofia Vergara’s Love, or Sofia, you may enjoy this. Thanks for reading my review. 🌷🫶🏻✌️

Purchased 100ml at Ross for $10 since I've been on a cheap celebrity fragrance kick lately. This one is very pleasant and wearable! The patchouli stands out upon the first spray but quickly fades into the background. It has a non-descript fruity and floral accord. It's sort of sweet, sort of soapy, inoffensive. It seems to sit close to the skin, not sure about longevity but it's so light and weak that I cant imagine it's a long-lasting frag. No risks taken here but this is still a good value for the price.

The scent itself is pretty. But there was very little creativity put into this. It’s a sweet accord, you can smell a hint of the fruity notes...on a woody/musk base. BUT...MANNNN is this stuff weak! I voted above with a “like” because the scent is pretty but it’s just so unoriginal and it literally only projects about 30 minutes and is totally gone in about an hour & a half. I’m gonna try the male version soon but this one really disappoints with its weak concentration. 4/10. Usher can do better.

Shocked this doesn’t have one review. I ordered this perfume yesterday and it shipped today. Will review it once I’ve given it a proper wear. The notes of the male counterpart didn’t appeal to me so I havent purchased that one yet.
