UR for Women

First of all, let me tell you that I love this fragrance! It's simply beautiful. It is happy, it sparkles, it's feminine and it's tropical. This is tropical in absolutely the best way imaginable- not at all heavy. There is no actual tuberose although it's so tropical and white-flowered that it seems like it ought to be in here. One of the fragrance's most outstanding qualities is that it gets along with my body chemistry; quite a few of the tropical ones don't. The only downside is that it only lasts an hour or two on my skin. However, it lasts on clothing into the next day. Sometimes I like to layer this fragrance by using it along with Enjoy by Patou. I actually spray the two on the same place and let them co-mingle on my skin. Amazingly, neither perfume is adversely affected by this practice...Enjoy gives a lovely base to the combo and UR gives Enjoy more femininity. Plus, this actually makes UR last for half a day, quite distinctly and recognizably. Edit: I want to add that I have allergies and asthma, yet this fragrance doesn't aggravate either condition for me. I've had my bottle for a week now and it's growing on me more all the time. I wear it every day! Lovely for a gentle mood lift; soft enough not to be too noticeable to others, yet noticeable enough to myself. It never gets heavy or cloying even though it's on the sweet side and it's tropical.

After wearing this some more I have to amend my prior review. This is not just nice - it's really lovely. I smell lots of jasmine, a bit of gardenia and a really nice tuberose in the drydown. These beautiful florals are balanced by woods and musk. I was convinced I was smelling gardenia, but I think the drydown is more tuberose and osmanthus which are also sweet and a bit indolic like gardenia. I smell a bit of fruit-but it's not heavy- just complements the florals. This one is really growing on me. It smells much more expensive that it is; it's classy and reminds me of a Prada or Versace, a little bit like Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia but it's less indolic and has more balanced notes so I like it better. The honeysuckle note is very nice and comes through well. A lovely classic floral for a woman of any age. This may be my first celebrity scent! .

Hi Everyone! I must say this fragrance grew on me after a while in the store. First, I purchased two EDP sprays 3.4 oz ea at Perfumania for $20 ea. as a Managers Special (org. $65 ea) plus $10 off; at $30 out of pocket. Light unscented body oil after my shower and pulsed two mists 3-ft away from my legs and mid torso. The complements just poured in. Like an theatre applause you could only dream of some day. I gave a bottle to my sister in college for V-day. She begged for it again for her 21st birthday. I'm 34, so it's great we finally agree on something :-). It's got to be the timeless elegance of the Peony and the sweet girly laughter of the Peach that captured our hearts. Funny: my dirty laundry basket smells fantastic :-). A splendid fruity scent of UR is so intriguing and memorable that even at the end of the day I close my eyes and enjoy the serenity of mouth-watering mix of peach nectar, coconut milk and sugary praline. It's a very well-done celebrity perfume created by patronage of Elizabeth Arden's company. Pretty iridescent pink bottle repeats the previous design of Usher's perfume though, to my mind, the scent is ten times more pleasant. It is so deliciously intoxicating that it instantly catches attention. The best part is a pretty decent staying power. The fragrance is soft, unobtrusive and suitable for both daytime and evening wear. Perfect for young outgoing girlzzz.

It's rather sharp on the opening, and not the good sharp (in my opinion) like Bright Crystal Absolu. I actually left it sitting on my dresser after that because I wasn't impressed. However the DRY DOWN on this thing! I gave it another chance and let it sit on my skin for an hour. This absolutely could be a daily fragrance. It dries down into something creamy and nutty and delicious on my skin. Comforting and feminine and pretty - I highly recommend it! EDIT: I'm used to the opening now, it's not so sharp but man I love the dry down!! I smell like delicious!! underrated fragrance!!! definitely womanly. not a sugarbomb.

I am surprised that I love this scent as much as I do--I guess some celebrity fragrances can surprise you!I love white floral blends and this has some beautiful jasmine and fresh green honeysuckle notes that last well on me. I am pretty sick of fruity florals that smell like fruit punch and the peach note here is just enough to make the flowers smell delicious. It dried down nicely on me and lasts as well. I found this at TJ Maxx and also bought a marked down body lotion in a tube that is just BEAUTIFUL! I am not really a fan of Usher, but this scent is s big winner for me!

This is identical to Mariah Carey Dreams. I don't like either on me. So it's fall now and I decided to give this another chance and I'm glad I did because it smells so much better now! It starts off smelling similar to juicy couture then morphs into the pearly smoothness that used to be too sharp at the beginning but now it's balanced and sets this off so right. This is now a 💕 love and I'll be buying back up bottles and the lotion.

This perfume embodies a richness that fills up your senses with deep lasting fruity florals, and woods. Yummy peaches, and blooming honeysuckle, fresh osmanthus, and jasmine bouquet, and topped off with rich caramel praline. When you are wearing this, heads will turn, and it lasts for several hours even after the drydown, which brings in the heady woodsy basenotes. It all blends beautifully in a most delightful way.

Over the years I've only emptied 3 perfume bottles and this was on of them...The others were Ungaro 2007 and Sarah Jessica Parker NYC...Anyways, I found this one 2b extremely well done, its much softer than the first one which makes it more wearable, its long-lasting and it has excellent projection!!! Needless 2 say I'm on my second bottle and still in love lol...

This absolutely worked on my skin!! I did not get a headache, like I do with certain scents that seem acidic after a few hours. It was soft, and peachy (without being cloying or too sugary), and a super-pleasant scent for the workplace. I could still smell it after my 9 hour shift!! Love, love, love.

I totally forgot I had this fragrance and found it hidden and decided to spray some on this morning. At 7:30 this evening I was approached by a new neighbor who introduced himself and said how good I smelled at least ten times along with his name and number lol....it's definitely a compliment getter

I love this scent- I tend to forget about it in the sea of bottles, but everytime I wear it, it reminds me that I really enjoy it--so feminine and pretty. Definitely lots of honeysuckle, but its the kind you smell in the air in spring. It has great lasting power and its so affordable!

This perfume smells amazing!It is definitely a summer scent and it lasts a really long time and on clothes as well! I got a sample from Fragrance net and definitely had to buy it! I would recommend this scent and it does not smell like the usual generic scents of some celeb scents!

This blew me away after the first spritz! I love it and it is definitely in my top 10. Love sweet perfume. Great for a blind buy!

This fragrance reminds me of a beautiful big bosomed woman wearing a milkmaid dress running through a pasture of wildflowers.

AMAZING<3 I LOVE THIS SCENT I SMELLED IT IN A MAGAZINE AND I HAD TO HAVE IT. SMELLS LIKE FLOWERS ITS SOOOO GOOD.

This perfume is actually really pretty. I bought this YEARS ago. Probably sometime around 2014 or so. The white florals are prominent here, that's for sure. There are fruity notes in the backround and to be honest...that had me slightly worried because I am NOT a fan of the note "Peach" in perfumes. Nevertheless this isn't a scent that I'm able to pick out individual notes...they just come together as they do. And the blend actually turned out really nice. Also to note, aside from the florals there is a little bit of sweetness but JUST the right amount. This is absolutely, positively not a sugar bomb scent. I love how balanced they made this composition. This isn't a perfume I wear terribly often. Maybe 3-4 times a year but almost everytime I wear it I get one compliment MINIMUM...it never fails. I also have to say I find this quite unique. I've never smelled anything else that smelled like this. I have yet to smell his male fragrances, I hear they're quite generic but given their price point, I think I'll have to get around to trying them out soon. Anyway, this one is really nice. I find it elegant to be honest. Very versatile in terms of age. No matter whether you're 20, or 40. I can see a wide range of people wearing and enjoying this scent. Don't let the fact that it's a "celebrity" perfume steer you away from giving it a fair chance. It's really beautiful. Longevity - About 4-6 hours depending on the amount of sprays used. But lasts like 12+ hours on clothing. Projection - About 3-4 feet also depending on how heavy handed you are with the sprayer. Overall Score - 7.5 or 8/10 Thumbs up Usher. I had no idea he just released a brand new scent in the clear bottle in 2019. I think I'm gonna order that one this week too. The notes look promising. Fingers crossed! And to all of you who havent tried this one yet..it's dirt cheap so ya got very little to lose. Give it a shot, it's a really pretty scent.

I really love peach so I was excited about this one. Initially, I get a blast of juicy peach, and then over time it softens into a gentle floral. The honeysuckle is really nice. There is a teeny bit of sweetness but it's not at all gourmand and there is nothing cloying about it. It's a really nice scent overall. I was suprised at how nice and feminine this is. I'm not in LOVE with it, so I will probably just stick with my sample, but I do really like it, especially for summer. EDIT: I bought this because it was sooo cheap. After wearing a few times I've realized that I still like it but it's not really one I reach for often. My hubby loves it though (which is rare) so I guess I'll wear it for him but it's just a tad too green/floral for me (even though I like honeysuckle)

UR is another gem that I'm wondering why I do not wear more often! This is a beautiful fragrance that is so affordable! Fresh and clean not offensive in anyway. This a a pretty blend of fresh florals with a touch of peach. A lovely sweet honeysuckle that I adore complemented by the freshness of peonies and freesia. Eventually a clean jasmine starts to pop out making this an even better floral blend. There is also a tiny bit of musk and and indistinguishable woody note hiding in the background. To my nose this smells a lot more expensive than it actually is, its blended nicely. This is a great fresh floral, that I suggest for people to try if they are looking for an affordable clean scent. ^_^

Another perfume that immediately put me in the mind of something else. I think it's Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue. The comments here are what convinced me to make this a blind buy. I was actually going to purchase it before, but bought the original Kim Kardashian. For some reason, I had thoughts, that from their public personas, they wouldn't put out a cheap smelling scent. That I could actually get a wearable scent for an okay price. I'm still up in the air.

Oh, this is lovely, peachy-sweet and *pink* smelling. A good, all-purpose scent. As an 'old lady', I'm finding that I like the fruity/floral, trendy scents like this one, ones from Ed Hardy, DKNY and so on. They don't leave the unpleasant chemical 'aftertaste' that some heavier perfumes have been doing, even ones I like. No, I don't drink them:) Let me also say that I like wearing some men's fragrances, but this doesn 't smell like one.

Initially I was unsure how I felt about the smell of UR. I got a sample of it along with another purchase, never would I have purchased something that had notes of both jasmine and musk ... however I grew fond of the sharp sweet lingering scent and purchased a bottle. It has staying power and it's pretty "girly" smelling. It kind of promotes an inner youth feel to me and the partner likes it.

I very much like this perfume, its just an average day to day go to work in type of perfume. I have brought a bottle for my self, my sister and my mom. We all love it. But, it does sort of smell like a man's fragrance, also the bottle is masculine... other than that it smells great, not overly over priced, for me its a must have, once mine is gone I will order another.

Light but long lasting, kind of floral, kind of skin like. Smells so feminine. A light floral with a tinge of sweet. I buy it every time I see it because it’s my mom’s favorite, for reference my mom likes: the og opium, Giorgio, Animale, Pleasures by Estée Lauder. She likes this one too. Not all batches of this perfume smell the same.

this is one pretty smelling fragrance. lots of honeysuckle, soft creamy floral musk,and lingering peach, very nice, and reasonably priced too. can't get enough of this scent! not bad lasting power 5-6 hours. on the other hand, the bottle is absolutely ghetto-fab, but hey it's about the scent after all:)

I was lucky to win a sample of this in a giveaway. I have to say I am enjoying UR for Women. This is a fresh honeysuckle scent that would be great for spring. The peach is note juicy, ripe and delicious. Ultra feminine, charming, and sweet in an innocent way.

I really like this one! Starts off strong, but then dries down very pleasantly. A little spicy, a little floral, a little fruity. All done in good balance. Well done! Just a bit of a longevity problem on me. Only about 2 hrs... Happy smelling! :)

I love this fragrance but is stains my clothes GRRR! It must be the alcohol in the perfume because if it gets on your clothes, you see bluish purple stains. Not cool :(

A sweet floral-fruity scent. I can smell the juicy peach and the peony. It is too sweet for me. I like it but not love it. The lasting power is acceptable.

Long lasting power strong peach notes. This fragrance smells yummy and good enough to eat. I like it more than I thought I would.

I bought this years ago after testing it in store and I remember enjoying it. After I ran out of it, I king of forgot about it but when I wanted to grow my perfume collection, I picked this one up again, thinking I would still enjoy it. I just have not smelled it up close on my skin before, either that or I got an expired bottle, but this does not smell good up close after it settles into my skin. I don't want to waste it so I'll still use it, but spray it on the lower half of my body so I don't smell it "too close". Smelling it from farther away is now just ok.

I got little tester, very sweet, for some sickening, definitely not crowd pleaser. It’s unique smell, but on my skin in wrong way, overly sweet mix bag of everything, I had to go and scrub it off after 30 minutes. But it could be good on someone, not necessary bad perfume, young night out intoxicating type of smell, I see some sexy dressed female with fake long nails and fake thick lashes, who knows how to party.

When I first got this as a gift, it overwhelmed me with a synthetic sweetness from the honeysuckle and peach. Now that it's been sitting in my drawer for 3+ years, I can't pick up on any sweetness... I get a skin-like airy floral

Good smell good price but this doesn't suit me. Smell like after bath or fabric softener. Something like that.

I wanted to like this, and I did, but only for a brief amount of time. I bought a set of five mini "celebrity fragrances" from my local chemist the other day and this was one of the fragrances included. I spent most of today wearing it on my left wrist only to see what became of it. Unfortunately, it gives me a bit of a headache. It has a smell that to me is too sickeningly sweet, as much as I love peach and florals. Perhaps it would smell better on somebody else but with my body chemistry it doesn't work that well. :( It has excellent staying power, though. I found this out the hard way, since in my desperation to make my headache subside I spent a while trying to scrub it off in the bathroom only to realise that was fairly pointless. It's too strong for me.

light, sweet, watery, fresh, and peachy ! I love sweet notes, but somehow it did not drive me crazy. I dont really understand. Its a really nice sweet perfume that has good lasting power and a good price tag, but as I said, it was not for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes fresh fruity peach perfumes without the citrus.

I don't care for this fragrance. My first impression was that I was smelling fingernail polish remover. A kind of biting, acidic fruitiness that turned a little sweet after a few minutes but not very strong. Very cool bottle but the fragrance did NOT tickle my fancy. Darn....that Usher....he's so cute.

This has got to be one of the worst smelling fragrances I've smelled. I got a sample of it and have sprayed it a few times and every time I have to scrub my arm to get it off because I can't stand it. It really disagrees with me.

This was gifted to me and when I smelled the nozzle I was excited because it smelled so sweet, almost like caramel to me. But when I sprayed this on me I was honestly shocked. It stinks so bad. I literally had to overspray myself with body spray and a different perfume to mask the smell. It has a very mature smell of musk and flowers. The musk in this smells like body odor. And the floral aspect smells so outdated. This is the worst smelling perfume I’ve ever smelled. It’s literally unwearable. Do not blind buy this and if anyone wants this they can have it for free!

After testing Usher She and almost screaming with the horror of it all, my brain told me to proceed with caution when it came to testing UR. Well thankfully, I had nothing to fear. It's sweet and girly, like something you would expect from a celebrity scent, especially from a popstar. UR smells like candied peach, honeysuckle, milky jasmine and musk. Fortunately the sweetness isn't nauseating, actually the fruity notes have been balanced nicely with the floral accords. The scent is almost fresh, like something that would wear well in Spring and Summer. I agree with pimentosugars that it has a very jam-like quality. It reminds me a little of Showtime by Kylie Minogue, just perhaps not as sugary. It's not terribly unique, but I wouldn't have expected anything else. We are attempting to appeal to the teen market afterall. I actually don't find this offensive, which could possibly be due to its rather clean, shampoo-like quality. Some people could easily mistake this for a hair product or a body scrub, it doesn't have an overly 'perfumey' feel to it. All in all, I think it's nice. If all high school girls smelt like this I don't think I'd have a problem with it.

I'm trying this from a sample - so far, really good. This smells warm and balmy. I like the lower register alto chord. It is the chord range that I typically prefer to wear as a signature scent - because it is a blend with my voice and preferred image. This has depth and substance but also has a playful note or two that seem to be dancing on my skin. I like the "lift" that this has. The fragrance is anchored with some nice lower tenor/alto notes but has a nice lift to the upper notes. The first 10 minutes, this goes on fairly strong - still waiting for the dry-down to see how this wears on my skin. The notes of this are lifting into something that smells similar to ingredients that I have smelled in suntan lotion before. This smells fresh and draws me in. It brings back great memories of my experiences by the pool and sunbathing!

SO MUCH osmanthus! Very peach/apricot with a buttery, nutty undertone (a different type of praline note than I've smelled elsewhere, not at all the LVeB type). Big juicy fruity scent w/ a savory feel to boot, makes it almost mouthwatering. I can't shake the impression of a buttery, candy-peach flavoring-filled white chocolate covered truffle when I smell this. I know it's synthetic smelling but... why is it so yummy?? :P my guilty (cheap celeb) indulgence scent (written on my 3rd wearing) ETA: I walked past someone wearing either this one or the other Usher scent (original) in a club and did not like it nearly as much as on myself. Must be chemistry dependent cuz I'm pretty sure it smelled much better on me, not to toot my own horn haha. I'd say 'test first' but hell, it's like $10 ;)

Usher UR FOR WOMEN seems to me very similar in spirit to the perfumes of the Juicy Couture line and may have been produced starting from the same marketing data: sweet, pleasant, floral in an inoffensive way. Pink, actually. The bottle is adorned with bling, with a weighty metal cap, and the glass has a rainbow-iridescent coating. Although the praline note does make this composition sweet, I find it nonetheless wearable. I cannot identify any individual flowers--they just seem "abstract". However, despite the fact that this is obviously a synthetic mixture, it does not smell nauseating and chemical to me, as so many similar fragrances do. Not bad at all, for a celebrity scent. I recommend UR as a lower-priced alternative to JUICY COUTURE.

I went to the store today to buy a new scent, and I had 2 in mind. But I sampled this one, and said, "wow, very nice". I tested a few more, but kept coming back to this one! I'm not really an Usher fan, but he teamed up with the right people on this one! The honeysuckle is predominate, but mellowed by the peach and its very delicate--yet still good staying power! Hours later, I picked my baby up at daycare, and the teacher said, "You smell delicious!!" A nice plus--the bottle is beautiful! I'm now going to search for the lotion! I have a feeling this little 1 oz bottle will go quickly, but it is so cute!

I bought a used bottle at the thrift store .. It does not have any peach smell that I can detect. It smells EXACTLY like Michael Kors! I sprayed this on one wrist and Michael on the other and honestly I can not tell the difference. Maybe it was old or fake? Who knows but it is not matching the notes listed. Follow up : After 30 minutes I can barely detect this at all. Michael is still there is full force. I can NOT imagine a man wearing this at all! Its all pink and white floral. I swear there is tuberose but not listed.

So many who reviewed this fragrance seem to prefer UR for Women to Usher She. I am one of the few who do not. I don't get any peach whatsoever, which disappointed me. I get the florals, and they aren't "bad", but I don't especially love them either. Once it dries down UR gets better, but it doesn't last at all on me. I don't exactly dislike it, but I don't really like it either. It is kind of a "meh" fragrance for me. I will stick to Usher She for now, and give UR for Women another shot at a later date.

I've tested this twice in the store. I was shocked it smelled so innocent! I was expecting something very stuffy and heavy, I don't know why. I liked it well enough, not offensive in the least but smelled like it was watered down a little. If it was more intense, a little longer lasting I might even buy it. It's a very light scent just perfect for a tweleve year old, and I am in NO way condemning anyone older who wears this as I wear "teen" perfume too! This just isn't quit intense enough.

The best way to describe it is watery fruity floral. I get light peachy note which almost immediately transforms into clean woodsy peony and musk scent. Very fresh and uplifting. To me, this really smells young and pretty. I love the bottle, btw, its gorgeous irridencent tint and bottle cap spins, kind of cool. My one complaint its really doesn't last very long and for that reason I am not sure I would repurchase again. Although since I got it for $12.99 I shouldn't complain lol

I want to like this. But, meh. Obviously, very floral. VERY floral. I think I may like this better in the winter. I can't identify most of the notes. I do smell honeysuckle, but the dry down is something else. This was blind buy based on the notes and reviews. I only paid $6 on eBay so I'm not upset about it. It will stay on my dresser because the bottle is OK looking. But I won't be wearing it any time soon. I'll try again when it's cooler.
