The very first breath reveals a lush, crimson rose, utterly steeped in a luminous mist of cotton candy and vanilla. Wow! Like WOW. The opening you definitely get the clementine, then it's clementine and rose. Then the vanilla amber and birch join in and it melds together so beautifully. Clementine has never been so prominent to me before in a fragrance. This is definitely a citrusy rose. Based on reviews I expected it to be a dark deep rose and was honestly frightened, but it's not at all! It's not a watery rose, and it's not super deep or dense, nor is it sharp. It sits right in the middle perfectly balanced and executed and creamy with the base notes. This is definitely unique, and so so pretty. I don't feel like this would be hard to wear but it might not be a safe blind buy if you're only a fan of gourmand/fruity florals. It's not a super sweet fragrance, though the drydown is more vanilla rose than citrus. Lasts for ages and perfect for all seasons.

Wow! An absolute masterpiece! Some of the reviews had me worried as I patiently awaited my bottle's arrival (yes, this was a blind buy 🙃). You must love rose to appreciate this beautiful fragrance. This is rose done right and fit for a king or queen. The opening notes are refreshing and bright with citrus and the rose quickly makes an appearance and it is a beautiful, fresh, realistic rose sitting on beautiful vanilla, amber, musk, birch and you get a subtle other floral note from the borage. This is pure elegance and class. I could see myself wearing this on special occasions wearing a sexy dress, for date night, or even for a day time event when I want to feel extra put together. It is complex and simple at the same time and the layers in this fragrance and the wear journey are amazing. Truly gorgeous and full bottle worthy. 10/10 😍❤

This is so gorgeous! Got my hands on sample of it and now craving a whole bottle of it. Rose is so strong yet so incredibly well balanced here. It has a tinge of sourness in the beginning but after 30-40 minutes the rose is in full bloom. I'm speechless. Haven't been surprised by a scent in a while now and this entire line is offering wonderful olfactory gems. Lasts a life time on clothes, and 16+h on the skin. 100% unisex which is hard to pull off with rose centered fragrances. Update: yesterday it was +26 here and I wore it out of curiosity to see what would change in heat. It is much more ethereal and citrusy now, rose note is more in the background and not as massive. I was considering buying it for the winter season but it smells amazing now as well! So different and a true chameleon scent.

I get it why some of you perceive Cicuta as outdated. The aroma of highly concentrated Bulgarian rose oil somewhat belongs to bygone days. I am pretty sure everyone knows the scent from childhood memories who grew up in Central/Eastern Europe during the 1900s. This super thick pure Bulgarian rose oil was a common souvenir coming from rarely affordable vacations around the Black Sea, therefore highly cherished and tucked away behind vitrine cabinets. Cicuta features this highly concentrated vintage smelling Bulgarian rose oil and embeds it into a fluffy vanilla marshmallow scent with powdered sugar. If the rose oil was toned down it would actually smell like turkish delight. With the rose on steroids it remains a very interesting luscious vanilla rose which is just adorable in my opinion.

This is a rose-infused lokum in a bottle! The Bulgarian rose here is stunning and I absolutely love the powdered sugar top. It's nothing like a standard sugary-caramelly or gourmand perfume, though, nor like a dark or a watery rose one. It's bright and sunny and carefree. Perfect for a light-hearted, calm summer early-afternoon date somewhere in a small, lovely village. It's not trying too hard to impress. It's paused and steady and delightful; I can see why it's called Cicuta.

Similar to Rance 1795, Rose de Rose - the rose is sharper / pointed in V Canto. Bulgarian Rose is the star - citrus (and by citrus, I mean orange) mixes in and then leaves for a very nice vanilla dry down. This is a more mature type fragrance. Not a good blind buy - must like rose a lot (and not a jammy rose, there is no jam here). SIDE NOTE: This is one of my most complimented fragrances during Spring.

This unique rose fragrance opens with the most delightful "cream-sicle" note. As soon as I received it, I ordered a back-up bottle. It's lovely. If you like different types of rose scents, this is a must try. Monte Carlo Peris' Rose De Taif is very lemony (whereas Cicuta has an orange/tangerine vanilla note). I don't find Delina to be similar to Cicuta either.

This perfume is insane! The most beautiful oil-bearing bulgarian rose with a strong dose of vanilla. I instantly fell in love. One of a kind and definitely not for everyone.

Bold but not too heavy, I'm in love with Cicuta! The citrus present in the perfume helps to sweeten and brighten the rose, while not drowning it. Very pleasant and dreamy!

Cicuta is a real head-turner! The rose is prominent but not overwhelming, and the citrus notes in the opening make it bright and fresh. It dries down to a warm, slightly sweet vanilla and musk that's incredibly inviting. Great for both day and night wear.

I’m normally not a fan of rose heavy scents but this one grew on me after letting it macerate for a bit. Perfect for a sunny day!

This is an old fashioned strong sweet dark rose, Makes me think of dark burgundy velvet(just like the packaging) and dried vintage roses. Its very strong and lasts forever but too much for me. I had to let my bottle go.

Oh no! So much thick cloying overpowering powder and watery iris - if that makes sense. It does not resonate for me. It made me feel sick.

Bold, sweet and perfectly unisex one. I sprayed the tester last day in the scent shop and went further down the lane to see the performance throughout day. I was amazed with the fact that even while dozing off yesterday, I was able to smell it. The longevity is such amazing and the silage is enormous too. As I walked down the lane, immediately got few compliments about what I was wearing and that smelled really lovely. I thought to myself, maybe the opening is fantastic only. But no, no, even after 6 hours of wearing it, I got compliments. So, with the opening, there was bergamot, orange and clementine. The heart had rose, coriander and Bulgarian whereas the base notes had birch, vanilla, borage, amber and musk. Totally versatile as it can be used round the clock, throughout the year. Easy to wear on any event, office or even party. This is actually bold but there is no heaviness in it. Probably the citrusy notes help to balance the sweetness of rose making it dreamy and pleasant. Must try!

Roses and roses that are so pretty and beautiful. Best thing is that this rose fragrance is not the one that causes headache rather the spices in it are so well blended that boosts the rose feel and keeps it mild and perfect. The vibes that I get from this one is strong, beautiful and confident. I would have loved it even more if the performance was bit better, however on my skin this lasted for almost 3-4 hours. otherwise, just a wow piece that goes well with both genders and is never going to go wrong on anyone. One can blind buy it, gift it or buy for any one from any age group. Really a versatile one imparting an opening with orange, bergamot and clementine while the heart is more of roses and coriander. Dry down is also perfect with vanilla, amber, musk and birch. This one is bold and not heavy, pleasant and dreamy, well blended and balanced and everything one desires in a scent. Most beautiful and insanely gorgeous fragrance that is truly beautiful. I fell in love with this beauty as soon as I tried it in a scent shop. Strong vanilla with the Bulgarian roses makes it a masterpiece. Definitely a must buy for vanilla lovers and the rose lovers too <3. Strong rose in this one is well balanced by the sourness tinge, also the roses are brightened and sweeten due to citrus present in it. Eternal longevity and enormous silage make it even more worth buy. Opening notes in this are bergamot, clementine and orange that settles into more of roses, coriander and Bulgarian roses. Dry down is even more beautiful with the vanilla flower, musk, vanilla, birch, borage and amber. Try before you buy it. This is not fit for every skin chemistry as far as I can feel.

Hmm. It's just OK to me! When I initially tried this, I got some orange in the opening, and then faint orange w/ rose and powder in the mid - and ultimately just a powdery, soft rose in the dry down. That's not bad, per say; but I have come to expect "out the box," unlike anything else I've tried before - yet still enjoyable from this house; so for me, this was kind of boring! Before placing it on the gray market, I decided to try it again. And I actually enjoyed it...for what it is - a delicate rose/baby powder fragrance that I can see myself wearing on days where I want that vibe. FYI, I love the smell of baby powder, so...it's just OK to me.

This is the bittersweet heaven or poison. An interesting, exciting fragrance. Not for everyone! :) Bittersweet vanillia, strong rose on a citrus bed, spiced with a little coriander (green note). <3 Absolutely gives the sexy sense of Mediterranean life.

Not sure why the rating got this fragrance is so low as this is magical. A very deep red rose with vanilla and citrus. I have received MULTIPLE compliments every time I have worn this fragrance. I just get a second bottle of this. Sooooooooo good!

I layered this with vanilla powder extrait. Im in heaven 🥰 Its beautiful scent, a tiny bit green, sweet but not to sweet. The rose is very prominent so you have to like rose. its very addictive scent.. I love it a lot.
