Kashimire

So hard to describe this scent. Some of its components, such as cashmere wood and copahu balm, I have never smelled before, so I do not have much to compare it to. Does this mean that it's a really original scent? Well not necessarily, but I find this one interesting none the less. It's really sweet, really comforting and very wintery, that's for sure. The opening is quite balsamic, with what I would describe as definitely patchouly in it, but it soon fades into something much quieter and evocative. Terenzi is quite famous for its warm scents like Maremma and here it does not disappoint. This scent soon becomes pure warmth: it smells of hot milk to me, wonderful hot vanilla milk poured in a cup and subtly spiced. It's exactly what I've always though that amber should smell like and this, at the end of the day, might as well be the sweetest, more comforting amber I ever smelled. Amber is often seen as very sexy and feminine ... but here is so different and so tender, so gentle. I'd never define this scent as clean, but I do understand what other reviews were meaning by describing this scent as such: it's like a wonderful blanked of warmth, it's so friendly. It's something I'd put on to sleep with a baby in arms, during a very cold winter night. It's an absolute pleasure.

Blind bought this one based on it being compared to musc Ravageur which is a masterpiece. This has been my best blind buy in terms of me liking it, while most of my blind buys are total flops based off yt recommendations.(seldom listen or take YT influencers' recommendations as some of them have been paid to say whatever whom paid them want them to say). Do i recommend this one to be blind-bought? Absolutely not.. This is not safe to blind buy. If you like balms/resins you might like it.. If you like sweet powdery frags you prolly will enjoy it. If you like musc ravageur and don't wanna pay the extra buck, yes, go for it.

For me it feels very close to KL Homme, Lagerfeld's old fragrance, out of the market for almost 20 years. It also reminds me of Guerlain's Jicky, but that one dissapeared before I could get a definite impression. This one is very warm and sensual and is one of the longest lasting I ever tried. A bit feminine for a man and a bit masculine for a lady, questioning the sexuality, ambiguous and insinuating, provocative in a very special way. Something to put on for a special occasion.

This is such a mood lifter. The word that comes to mind most when describing the fragrance is "clean". It's not sexy at all, but in a good way. A perfume to wear after a refreshing shower, putting on your best new clothes, buying flowers, getting things done. This perfume is very light and not cloying at all, but it doesn't fade away. It remains in the background in a very friendly and comforting way.

I love this fragrance, but I’m often attracted to dark resinous fragrances. I really enjoy how complex, long-lasting, and strong this bottle is. There is also a nice powdery dry down that I really dig. This is NOT blind buy safe and should be sampled first on split scent

I love to wear this. I think I'm down to my last few sprays, but this is a beautiful scent to wear. I really smell the cashmere on this, which makes it cleaomforting. Longevity is amazing, it lasts for around half a day. It's wondrously worth its price.

Fantastic fragrance, smooth, creamy, really high quality amber scent with some semi-sweet vanilla and warm kashmire, lasts like crazy 12+ hours and smells really expensive

I love this unique creature when it's extremely frosty outside, feels like sitting at the fireplace with irish coffee and a big warm blanket

A successfull blind-buy✔ A unisex creation of Paolo Terenzi 🖤 I don't like the balsamic medicine like opening at all,but after few miniutes it really warms up on my skin to a warm,sensual cloud of a powdery Cashmere scent with the softests hints of leather.It has some floral notes that stay in far background for me.I pick up Cashmere, Amber, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk and Vetiver. It is not sweet, Comparing this to Milk Musk of Molton Brown,This one has a powdery texture and Milk Musk has a softer lactonic texture. I like both of them and I can see myself using it alot for layering with my floral perfumes in the winter. Very comforting and long lasting. Good projection. #ladylovesperfumes

I sprayed my sample on my wrist. Up close I got sweet, soft wool. Some woody undertones. A little bit of patchouli... and for some reason in the beginning a weird projection that reminded me of a soft, died down version of vapor rub? Idk. Anyways if you like that clean laundry scent, you might like this. It's not bad at all. It's really nice just not anything that I want to wear. Not a safe blind buy. Maybe order a sample first.

V. Canto Kashimire is a beautiful comforting perfume which reminds me of a Guerlain classic. On this 75F fall day, Kashimire smells very much like something between L'Instant de Guerlain EDP (femme) and L'Heure Bleu. Maybe even Jicky. That will give you a fair idea. A very classic, soft, powdery perfume in a beautiful presentation.

To my nose this smelled very pleasant. I picked a sweet fresh velvety vanilla vibe that i liked a lot. Tried it on paper so it might come up a bit different on skin. I think its pretty versatile because is lingers away from nowadays overly sweet scents. Will revisit this asap

A very strange scent, it's hard for me to define it. The beginning is very strong, sharp, with a scent of geranium and resin. Maybe it's due to this strange copaiba balm, which I don't know what it is, but it's something really balsamic and resinous. I've been feeling it on my hand for an hour and a half, and on my hair it seems to have turned into a softer version and I feel it's balsamic-woody-floral. A strange combination. I can't compare it to any other scent.

A blind buy.. just wanted a perfume without a single citrus note declared. It is very Italian, well-assembled Extrait de Parfum. Musky, cocoony, intimate, close to the skin. Will be safe and appropriate in any situation. Imho the scent has nothing to do with cashmere. Unisex, more feminine at the start. In the opening I smell an itchy cyanide-bitter-almond note that I really don't like. It lasts quite a long time, gradually turning into amber and wood. In this phase it leans rather masculine. Some way it smells like an old-school wax for oak parquet ..coniferous resin .. when the smell is almost gone and barely perceptible ... you enter the room and there is that light vibe of it .. Halfway through it becomes denser, "darker" and more interesting scent, disappearing and returning as a balm, then as sandalwood, or as vanilla, sometimes ylang .. or turning to the harsh resin scent then again a barely perceptible powdery aroma. By the way, those around describe it as powdery. Patchouli and vetiver are here too.. delicate, clean and refined... the cyanide is gone completely, which is good.. Lasts quite a long time. On my (hairy:) arm about 12 hours, until a shower, otherwise it would have been even longer. At some point in the drydown it reminds Musc Ravageur and its Italian country fellow Meharées L'Erbolario (vintage version) the same warm amber notes, vanilla, musk (for my taste, in the last two musk is of better quality). I don’t know if I will be in love with it, but it's a quality and well-made perfume. The blue velvet bottle is luxurious but imho does not reflect the essence of this perfume and even creates some dissonance.

This is an understated fragrance that is most definitely a distant offshoot of Shalimar (the mother of sourish resins, if you will). However, Kashimire is milky, warm, musky, powdery and slightly sweet, just so beautiful (but I adore copahu balm as a note so I may be biased). The opening is powerful and very reminiscent of another one of my all time favourite scents - Le Baiser du Dragon, but the dry down is nothing like the Cartier scent. Kashimire goes through a strange nail polish remover/acetone/“poison-smelling” phase, which was off putting but thankfully only lasted around a half hour after the opening. Otterman's review below is quite spot on about this. However, I personally find this more in the realm of Habanita, due to the powdery, almost nutty quality that reads like mastic to me, and it wouldn't be such as reach as copahu balm and mastic both are resins extracted from trees that grow in similar climates (or is that me doing mental gymnastics? lol). The dry down is a warm, woolly, cozy and lactonic and powdery scent, though it is not gourmand to me.Also reminiscent of Play Doh, which I do enjoy. In the end, I find Kashimire to be a versatile and comfy scent. There's no "wow" factor so don't bother wearing it to the club, but it's a great everyday winter scent that smells cozy but mature enough to wear to the office. This would also make a good, casual movie night cuddling scent - just remember to spray it on an hour or two before cuddling.

OMG! Kashimire is not a scent but the experience of Kashmir purely. The scent is a mood lifter as the fragrance is light, clean and beautiful in its own way. Beat part is that this one remains in background in comforting and easy way that makes it friendly to wear anywhere. This could be someone’s signature scent as this is beautiful and not loud to be kept for some specific occasions. One can wear it to office, casual gathering and anywhere else around the globe without being judged or noticed a lot. However, this makes one feel fresh, refreshing and pretty light yet confidant. Copahu balm and cashmere wood are two specific notes that make it smooth, non-cloying and generic kind of original. I am not sure if this compares well to any other cashmere wood-based scent but I am sure to mention that this is an interesting one being comforting, sweet and much wintery. Patchouli makes it even warmer while remaining in background all the time. Pure, warm, vanilla based and subtle spicy is what Kashimire is all about. Masterpiece fragrance with creamy, smooth and excellent quality amber-scent with warmth of cashmere and sweetness of vanilla. Eternal longevity and strong silage along with expensive smell makes it a worth buy. Must have kind of stuff.

Very strong at first spritz, holy cow this is a bomb, patchouli powder bomb on my skin, which lasts about 10 minutes. Strong powder, thick, dense, chokes me up good. Not necessarily in a bad way! Again, very patchouli forward and strong, I could see an older gentleman wearing this as I think the patchouli is leaning a bit vintage-y, something like my uncle would wear. This is also very boozy to me although this has no alcohol but does smell alcoholic at first spray (and no, it’s not a rubbing alcohol kinda smell, it’s just boozy, like a shot of a dark alcoholic beverage like cognac or bourbon was added in the composition!) 25 minutes in and I pick up nothing but a balmy, thick, a bit woody patchouli/powder combo and I actually do smell a sweetness that is not sugary, vanillic or fruity... i believe it’s the amber giving this juice a touch of sweetness! My first blind buy that I actually don’t think I like that much though I feel this will change a few more times before it reaches the dry down.

This is really good for what it is. The scent profile is nothing crazy. It is powdery but not an airy powder that gets caught in your throat and chokes you out. It is that cashmere velvety powdery blanket of musky goodness. Very comforting. Has a slight animalic touch in the beginning (I do not get anything like nail polish remover - and very glad I don't), it just reads a little animalic and interesting to me nose but that does go away. And wow this is soo nice on my sweater right now. Mmmm I want to nuzzle in. On my skin it reads differently though and kind of bores me. But it smells so damn good on my clothes that I need to keep this around, if only to spray myself down before a good cuddle session or even spray on my blankets/pillows. This is kind of simple but also special. Who knew? On clothes - 9.5/10 On skin - 7.5/10

A creamy and smooth fragrance that is super stunning with amber and vanilla and of course kashmire. There is sweetness and warmth in it making it smell super expensive, though it is an okay value for money scent. Longevity for this warm fragrance is long-lasting, on my skin it lasts for more than 14 hours. in one word, I can describe this fragrance as clean. A fragrance that uplifts mood immediately bringing the feeling of refreshing, light, and friendly one. cashmere wood is honestly something that I smelled the first time ever and thus it is hard for me to recall any other related scent but I seriously found this note interesting and well appealing. The warmth of cashmere notes makes it worth it and preferably wearable for winters. Amber here is not just sexy, feminine but also very tender and gentle. Absolute pleasure!!
