Born in Roma Extradose Uomo

Just got my bottle in and man this is very nice. It’s closer to Born in Roma Intense (specifically the lavender) but without the vanilla and it’s a touch fresher and seems smoother and more refined. In my opinion this combines the best of the original EDT and the Intense, not too sweet and a bit spicy. It smells just amazing in the air and this stuff will grab attention. If you’re a fan of the line then this is worth picking up, otherwise if you have the original or the Intense then you can skip this. This does seem to have an extra dose of longevity as it lasts longer than the others. The versatility seems good for year round wear, and while It’s still sweet it has less of the “bubblegum” vibe going on to my nose. It’s more grown up than the other two but it’s still a very playful and sexy scent that anybody should enjoy smelling on you 😈 Loving this stuff so far 😍

If you like strong, amped-up designer-style lavender, and are a fan of the others in this line, you'll probably like this. This one is definitely being manipulated with an 'extra dose' of some performance-enhancing synthetics, and the results (from a performance perspective , anyway) are astounding. This easily bests BIR Intense. I won't go so far as to say that it isn't redundant, because lets face it. No one needs more than one of this style of fragrance unless they are a collector or avid fan of the house/line. If you are looking at the BIR line as a whole, trying to decide on just one, this is a worthy candidate. Performance-wise, this is the best they've made so far. I know, I own or have owned all of them (save for one or two that sucked). None are particularly 'mature'. Having said that, The fragrance doesn't age the wearer, the wearer ages the fragrance.

Stars of very spicy, ginger is the easiest to pick among those spices but I detect nutmeg and small amounts of cinnamon and cloves. The smell quickly mixed with the Lavender and composition shifts to a sweet, smooth, aromatic side. I smell rum facets hidden in somewhere. It is not too linear, has some depth within it and it is differet from the others in the line. Yes, closets to Intense version (which I hate) but without the vanilla note, more masculine and less bublegum-syrupy sweet. So far my favorite release of 2025, I normally do not care about the bottle but it looks AMAZING. Performance is very strong, lasts 10 hours easily and projects great. Reminds me of a less sweet and less spicy The Scent Elixir. I think I'll add this to collection, even though I promised myself I won't add any designers anymore.

Versatile, attention-grabbing, sweet, hot, and romantic. This is an all-in-one scent, with only positives. Especially if you are under the age of 17, this a great fragrance; as it isn't super mature, but it also has a masculine and sexy tint to it. If you are in high school, this is perfect for a daily wear. I got so many compliments with this but it also isn't hedache causing, and is perfecr for all weather, temperatures and occasions, especially detention! Compliments - (if you're handsome ;) ), expect quite a few! Performance + Longevity - Lasts the whole school day, 9-12 hours, with great projection, even from 7-10ft away. Spray amount - No more than 7. Ideal around 5-6. "Is this a good signature scent?" - Yes, literally just perfect. "This or intense" - This, all day.

Nose note #27: Note: Review from a 2 mL test sample, not the full bottle. This is so good. Prominent spicy lavender from the opening, followed by a little touch of vanilla that appears a bit later. Pretty much a lineal but fine fragrance, reaching first place in the Valentino Bir line. I feel like this is a gentlemanly but sexy scent, perfect for 20-30 yo. adults and some night dates. The fragrance performs pretty decently and has a nice sillage, which is expected given the oil concentration. The perfect time to wear it would be in autumn or winter, especially at night, given the nature of the fragrance. The bottle is fine, but not surprisingly, the packaging sucks, just like almost all designer fragrances. Price: Gift from the store Rate: 8.5/10
