Rock'n'Rose Couture

Rock’n’Rose is charming and comforting perfume. It reminds me of my garden at the cottage where I grow blackcurrants with bushes of old roses and sweet honey like wildflowers. There is nothing edgy about this scent. It wraps around like a blanket on a cool starry summer night. It reminds me of a quiet time with the nature when I felt relaxed and happy. Blackcurrant in the opening is accompanied by tender scent of lily of the valley and bergamot. I love this trio. I think the choice of lily of the valley makes the opening classy and chic and compliments the blackcurrant really well. Lily of the valley here is not strong. They just add a nice touch to blackcurrants. The heart is gardenia and rose. There is something sweet and honey-like about the heart notes in this fragrance. It reminds me of a sweet and romantic pink rose. I guess the scent is a bit powdery but it is very classy and feminine. I would recommend this fragrance for someone who likes sweet romantic floral. Blackcurrants here are not as defined as in AMETHYST but I do love how they are paired with lily of the valley, so if you love blackcurrant scents like I do then you might want to give this a try. This perfume does not give me thrills or pushes the limits but it is lovely, romantic and so comforting to wear.

its just the edp version of rock and rose.. more intense.. more of a night time perfume.. less fresh.. less citrusy.. and definitely more intense.. and a hint darker..i personally prefer the first edition of rock and rose.. to me its more magical..that being said it is a beautiful perfume.. more feminine.. more perfume.. ..older.. maybe used by older women ..its got more rose in a duller complexity.. more vanilla.. more bergamont..more alluring ..less soapy.. more woody.. ..more floral.. white floral ..florals.. roses..musky.. powdery ..heavenly..more seductive..a tin sh sweet..very elegant classy..and layered together with rock and rose turns heads around.. perfume ratting 4 .1 out 5 bottle ratting 4 out 5 edp 50 ml bought from sephora about 110 us$

This fragrance was my favorite from the house of Valentino. Amazing spicy deep lovely feminine roses, quite long-lasting and romantic, but at the same time excites the mind and feelings..beautiful pinkish bottle covered with the beautiful black lace.. It was a sexy perfume! I would love to buy it..HEY, Valentino, you need to start to produce that beauty again! It was your best fragrance!

I think they both smell the same. I have the original and got this one thinking it was stronger and would last longer. I couldn't tell them apart, it's like the got the same scent and changed the bottle design to make it different. Well the more the merrier for me, I love them both. :)
