Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Green Stravaganza

Green stravaganza gets too much hate, only because the born in Roma fan base consists of grown dudes that like to smell like teenage girls; overly loud and extremely sweet. I do agree that the performance could be better and it does lack in complexity, but the scent dna is still so unique. An amber like coffee with a fresh accord? This stuff is so good. The opening is absolutely candy like, even in Donna’s version of green stravaganza. Instant burst of that bright bergamot with that creamy coffee underneath it. And at the peak of the dry down, it comes together with an earthy twist to it all with the vetiver coming out to complete the scent. The lack of performance is the only thing that should be docked on this fragrance, because as the scent begins to fade (after three hours or so, which I personally don’t mind) the vetiver becomes the top note and it begins to fade away the bergamot and coffee. Nonetheless, I still think this flanker is amazing and the most creatively balanced in the line. all of BIR is really creative, but overwhelmingly sweet. I look forward to a reformulation of green stravaganza in hopes that they increase the performance and strengthen that opening dna I love so much.

Very overhated. Don't listen to those fragrance tiktokers that say buy Coral Fantasy and don't buy Green Stravagansa, because this fragrance is very very underated. Smell: A surprisingly good, fresh, green grass type scent that's hard to explain because it's very complex and sophisticated in my opinion. Very overhated. When me and my friend smelled this for the first time, I immediately bought it. I don't really get the coffee smell that everyone is talking about however. 8/10 Performance: Solid performance, lasts decently long on skin and has solid projection. A good fragrance for (maybe) school use or maybe use at dates and spray lots on. 5 sprays, or 6 if you are feeling lucky. 6.5/10 Atomiser: Extremely good, surprising even, atomizer. Nice cap, and the spray is just perfect, really. 9/10 Bottle: Nice looking bottle. Could stand out a little in a collection, and feels so nice to hold. 8/10 In the end a overhated fragrance that's perfect for spring. 7.8/10

The more reviewers I watch the more I think they shouldn't be trusted. It's a matter of personal opinion at the end of the day and part of me wishes this one gets even more hate so it stays hidden because it's awesome. It's powdery sweet, just like BiR Intense, and has that coffee note instead of lavender. In the air it smells godly, also like BiR Intense. This is nothing like Ferragamo Signature. It has no leather note which I like actually. Between BiR Intense and this, this is more masculine for sure. I do love both though. The performance unfortunately is not the best. After 4-5 hours it's gone. It doesn't even stay on clothes for half a day. The bottle is sexy and feels high quality. The atomizer and cap could be better but are still very good. 73 euros for a 100ml bottle is a touch on the expensive side. If it was 60-65 it would've been perfect. 9.2/10 Hot

I absolutely love this fragrance. I got it as a sample and didn’t realize that it was the masculine line of this fragrance, but I adore it. I honestly couldn’t tell that it was for men until someone told me—but now I can definitely smell it. From the day I got it, I’ve been mixing it with sweeter scents or fresher scents to give it more depth—anything with neroli, citrus, or cool floral notes makes it feel more “feminine.” This scent is sooo so delicious and I can smell it all day from 2-3 sprays. Feels like it has more breath than tom ford gray vetiver and has enough room to be lightened up further with semi-sweet green or floral scents. I really don’t smell coffee at all, but the bergamot and vetiver compliment each other so well. I was so in love with those two notes that I neglected to realize it was the men’s line lol. 10/10

I believe this fragrance is undervalued. While it deviates from the established BIR Uomo line, its unique direction is a welcome change. The other BIR fragrances (Intense, Coral Fantasy, Yellow Dream, etc.) share a similar serious tone, suitable for office or school settings. However, Green Stravaganza's playful, verdant character is better suited to warm summer days. Even if you dislike other Valentino BIR fragrances, I recommend trying this one. My only critique of the BIR series is their tendency to evoke a high school scent profile. While I personally enjoy them, I am aware of the potential for this association. Longevity is typical of a designer EDT; not exceptional, but it provides 5-7 hours of wear. Projection is excellent for the first four hours, after which it becomes a skin scent. 8.4/10

Honestly I’m a pretty big Valentino fan. It’s kind of the same story as montale. Their cheap, original, and good. I would say montale is better though but I still appreciate Valentino as there a designer but still good. Firstly I love the smell of this, it’s very fresh, green and natural which i appreciate because not many designer brands are doing that and sticking to a vanilla smell. The only down side is the performance which is just average and the only reason I’m saying that is because when comparing to montale is weak but that’s kind of an unfair comparison since montale is niche. In conclusion love this fragrance and what is represents as a original and new ideas with a good smell and average performance. Best smelling fragrance in the line. I’ve been in the game since I was a kid and out of all my fragrances currently, I went nose blind to this one the more than the rest. I smelled this one on a shirt that I wore the previous day and realized it performs better than I thought. I’m not getting great performance on skin 2-3 hours but I’m skeptical that I’m going nose blind pretty quick. My nose usually takes a little time to adapt to certain fragrances. Even if 2-3 hours is the reality, getting 12 hours on a shirt is really good. I can spray this on - go to work come home, layer a different fragrance over top and I’m ready for the night. I don’t want every fragrance that I own to be beast mode. I usually like wearing two separate fragrances throughout the day so this is perfect.

i dont think this fragrance gets the love it really deserves . its amazing , one of my favourites actually . the opening its a citrus bomb and the cofee just sits there perfectly toning down the sweetnes of the bergamot to a perfect level , not to strong or weak but actually making it unique in a way. the vetiver shines somewhat later then i actually expected but not messing with the sweetness of the fragrance . the performance its not amazing but i still get around 6 hour of longevity and 2 ,maybe 3 hours of solid projection. i do find it personally the most unique scent in the line but i wouldnt go as far by saying its the best out of all of them . overall its a banger of a fragrance and i d recommend it a 1000 times if i had the opportunity 9/10

I cannot get over that intoxicating citrus in the opening. Truly a standout fragrance with lots of youthful character. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone over 35-40 due to light diffusive nature of the scent. I got this bottle after smelling a friend's, and to this day I have never gotten over how good it smells, just super light, maybe 30% woody 60% sweet and 10% of that citrus 'sparkle' if you will that pulls it all together. The projection on this is quite strong for about an hour from what I remember of my friend wearing it, with sillage even 6ft behind. Even with 2 sprays you will gas out a car if you don't wait a bit. Highly recommend every fragrance enthusiast try this at least once as they develop their tastes.

My mom gifted me a Valentino sample kit that included the majority of the line. This one was my favorite with a close second being coral fantasy This fragrance is a deep green scent with very pleasant hint of coffee. It's very mass appealing and recieved many compliments the times I wore it. It very hard to describe its scent, it has the mass appealing background Valentino scent richness and depth but with a deep lime green apple and coffee note. I enjoyed this fragrance so much I went back and bought a full sized bottle. I'd say it's very blind buy friendly to anyone looking for a going out, everyday or office scent as it's mass appealing and easy to wear.

I quite enjoy this scent. Very mass appealing, which is a good thing to most people, but a downside to others who prefer more niche scents. Sweet, kinda fresh, and youthful, and I do pick up the coffee in the opening/mid, but my favorite part is the dry down. After about 2 or 3 hours it’s a sweet warm seductive type of scent. I feel like it’s pretty unisex and women could definitely pull this off. Haven’t seen anyone else say this, but the dry down definitely reminds me of La Fin du Monde by Etat Libre d’Orange. Quality is what you’d expect from Valentino, and this scent is super versatile.

Coming back to this one to say that MAN has this grew on me. Longevity and projection is still EDT standard but it makes it perfect for a quick outing. Whether you're at the zoo, or the museum, the library, or the store, it works. A very unique scent that you have to really let it sit and get to you. At first it was very very basic to me. Reminded me of what Coach Green was trying to do but as time went on and I kept using it, I notice the sweet sticky coffee scent mixed with a fresh bergamont that just works. Definitely will be classed as an Underdog fragrance in a few years.

Actually this is one of my favorite scents I own because it his both sweet in a pleasant way but also complex. I think I have had some sneezes around me when greeting tables. I could see the potential for a head ache from it if wearer is too energetic. I have azzaro most wanted intense, Jean Paul gaultier, been wearing Aramini code profumo for the last ten years and own Versace eros and a little flame. Have a sample of Valentino classic. Amongst a few little others and this at this moment is my favorite scent. I wish I had thicker spillage and lasted longer tho

The first time I smelled this fragrance I couldn't stand it, a few weeks after I went back and bought it immediately. This is starting to get the love it deserves. The vetiver earthy note, with the citrus coffee notes make this a pleasantly amazing scent. You won't be like everyone else with the Valentino line as this one doesn't get worn as much as the others. This has become my signature scent and opened my eyes to vetiver note to be more appealing. I highly recommend this one to anyone looking for something a little different than most designer fragrances.

I picked up a 10ml traveler 2 weeks ago. It's my first green fragrance I've tried. I feel like the notes are off here. I don't smell any coffee even thoughts it's 1 of 3 notes listed. Smells great though! A green / tropical scent. Perfect for a warm spring or summer say. Also seems to perform nicely! Projection is at least arm length for the first few hours. I sprayed myself this morning around 530AM. It's 3PM now and while I it's barely a skin scent at this point (9 hours later). But I'm still getting whiffs of it on my shirt!

imo this might be the most "out there" from the uomo line, but thats a good thing because this is one is actually pleasant and not just a vanilla or iris bomb like other valentinos. Coffee and Bergamot for men is generally different, and the musky vetiver base with (to me at least) an almost soft leather edge makes this one really pleasant and appealing. As an EDT, just go a bit heavy with the sprays because it dries down kind of soft, but any intimate moment with this one on is sure to please anyone to go in for more.

I loved this fragrance from the first time I tried it. I worried a bit about all the reviews saying it has no longevity but have been pleasantly surprised with how long it lasts. Even after a full workday I can still smell it on myself. Although the projection leaves a lot to be desired. It is a skin scent almost from the beginning. The coffee notes remind me more of fresh ground beans than a brewed pot or coffee shop. There are plenty of great deals to be found on this, if one comes along it’s definitely worth a buy!

Mi favorito de la BIR masculina, una nota citrica que dice presente desde la aplicacion hasta que se esfuma, rica y fresca, acompañada de un cafe que a mi parecer si se siente y bastante, como para darle un giro mas adulto. Labase del vetiver siempre que esta, esta. Una fragancia diurna que cubre areas generales, no queda desubicada para el trabajo, para un evento o compromiso menos. Lo unico negativo es su duración y estela, es un 7/10 en esas caracteristicas, pero despues, una fragancia solida y rica.

Honestly don’t know what happening with people in the comments. This perfume might one of the best creations in Valentino’s Uomo line. It smells like coniferous forest, fresh mint and has a light greeny smell. Definitely a fresh, pure and unique designer fragrance. It kinda has a similarity with Montblanc Legend Spirite, but Green Stravaganza overpowers it, period. Definitely recommend to buy it. Received multiple positive comments and compliments wearing it.

I think this is a very nice fragrance, I see a lot of hate around it and honestly I don't get it. I think this is a very easy to wear pleasent and elegant smell that is quite original. To be honest I don't get much coffee from mine, it's definitely not intense (like an espresso shot) it appears rarely in the background, but I think this might me dependant on the batch. The bergamot is nice and mild, and the vetiver dry down is really good.
