Serenitude

With a dab sampling I detected a kind of steamy/mineralic floral at first, but the sandalwood that eventually emerges is quite good, not some sort of iso e super mish/mash that you often find these days, even in niche. I'll update when I do a regular wearing. UPDATE: With one spray to the chest I can say this is quite good, definitely along the lines of what one would expect of this kind of niche sandalwood scent, except that I don't get any "chemical overload" qualities here! At currrent prices, this is "no brainer, just buy a bottle" territory, if you like these kinds of scents, of course. At first it's more feminine, then goes in a more unisex direction, though I certainly doin't think it's ever going to come across as "masculine."

I love the ideas behind this good feelings / well being also it will look pretty in my collection, the bottle is lovely, the blue stones inside very beautiful but if i,m a lover of sents with sparkly lemon and spices in so this is a beautiful sent . Very inoffensive day wear yet u can feel and smell expensive oils in this one , great happy sent either in summer or a perfect pick me up on a chilly day, may not be worth £47 but certainly it was worth it at 35 in sale , I'm a lucky girl this brand will deffo do very well once they are more known. Valour absolue 7/10 easily :)

Very beautiful simple unisex sandalwood dominating scent peppered by roses and citrus. I love it's dryness and it's similarness to sandalwood essential oil. You will love it if you love dry woody scent that is not too musculine. The price is a little steep and it's not easily obtainable in South east Asia but I would repurchase it if I see it again.

The initial blast is reminiscent of fresh blooming geraniums, I'd take this may be the outcome of the lime and rose dancing together. A minute later Serenitude starts morphing and showing the spicy aspects. It is a warm spicy feel. While the rose is obvious it blends pretty well with the spices and retains an airy aura. The patch appears a little later and the drydown is more or less sandalwood. Nice middle-weight fragrance, easily unisex too. Close cousins would be ELDO Rossy de Palma or the red bottle Amouage (although Serenitude is definitely lighter which can be a good thing in my book :) ). With regards to longevity, I get a few 3-4 hours out of it. Sillage-wise it is quite loud initiatially and then it quitens down into skin scent. P.S. The blue stones/pebbles are really cute

Just a side note to my review earlier. This one actually blooms even more in warmer weather, the spices get more active and the rose turns jammier :)

I don’t get much rose, it’s very much in the background. It’s a citrusy sandalwood kind of peppery scent and I get something slightly like sour fruit. Not sure if I like it. Okay so as it dries down to the mid notes about 20 mins it I do enjoy the gentle wafts of scent I’m getting. It is very very subtle, fresh, warm and comforting. It would be pretty much undetectable to others though as it honestly has such low sillage and only lasts about an hour. I would suggest you get it on the cheap if you like it, but a big bottle and reapply.

Rose, rose and more rose! It smells SO similar to the original Darby Rose by Chantecaille from the very early 2000s sold at Neiman Marcus, which I have. The silliage is incredible, too! A fantastic value if you like a lemony rose. Definitely a feminine scent and I’d say it’s all seasonal.
