Sun

This solar fragrance is simply spectacular. The exotic fruits (a sparkling passionfruit is the star) are blended with the white flowers and the frangipani so masterfully that the result is something I’ve never smelled before, extremely pleasant and unique. I can also notice a citrusy nuance in the background, which makes me feel ultra fresh in the heat, and in the base, musk and the unmistakable holy grass with rare and beautiful vanilla characteristics, adding certain creaminess to the scent. For me, a spring-summer dream. And what to say about the bottle? It looks alike anything else. I think every single bottle is hand painted which makes each one something really unique. To my taste, is more of a feminine scent, but can suits a young man too. If you appreciate uniqueness and like smelling as anyone else, this is your spring-summer fragrance!

I've reviewed, and prefer, the other two offerings from Vallense - I don't wear white florals - but I can appreciate them. What I really like about this is the passionfruit note - it's quite syrupy, and it blends with the frangipani/tuberose effect to create a tropical impression. It makes me imagine drinking a cocktail watching the sun set on a holiday somewhere very hot. Sun is a perfect name for the feeling of this fragrance.

I got the samples of these which refreshingly (to some annoyingly) don’t have any notes or materials listed. At first (and throughout actually) this is a very femme tropical fruity musk smelling fragrance, quite lovely but I feel a little too far out of my comfort zone. After twenty minutes or so it settles and I smell a kind of very ‘pink’ tuberose smell. It’s quite a lovely thing really but not to my taste.
