If someone told me that I would ever like a perfume with animal notes I'd say he's crazy....eee I love this. Much better than many perfumes from brands like Guerlain and others with leather. And even though I'm going to annoy the crazy fans of the above again this is a perfume of a strong, determined woman, modern in the sense of thinking but elegant and refined in the old style of 85-94 the feminist gold period.

Underrated gem - this is a beautiful saffron rose. On me the leather is barely there, which I love (by contrast with Hermes Galop, which is a sucker-punch) and the rose is balanced and restrained with the interesting juxtaposition of saffron. If you want rose-leather, this one is near to perfection, soft, anngelic yet serious. I will full-bottle buy.

I received a deluxe sample of this, which was in a gift box from Saks. Immediately I knew the scent and what it reminded me of... mosquito repellent. I absolutely despise this scent and laugh at the possibility that someone would actually appreciate it. Perhaps it’s just the way that I perceive this sent and maybe no other but I just simply think it’s awful.

Sprayed some on and at first whiff the combination of roses and saffron was quite nice. Weakened as time went on. 90 minutes later, these notes are gone and all I can smell is the leather.
