Feerie

Bought the original in box from eBay for far too much money, but you best believe I'm saving that bottle once the juice is gone! That being said, this was my first encounter with Féerie. I have Celtic ancestry and have had an interest in magical creatures and folklore since I was but a wee babe. I never thought my fascination with the faerie world would coincide with my love for fragrance, but the connexion is clear, especially when one considers fae are oft associated with glamour, intoxication, and otherworldliness. We could debate back and forth about how good this fragrance is versus how much she is a novelty, but the real question is: Do I get faerie vibes from her? The answer is yes, but mainly in the dry down. The opening is far too much citrus to remind me of a fae— did she live in ancient China rather than with the Tuatha de Danann?— but definitely effervescent and energetic as a mischievous pixie. How does it compare with Guerlain's Insolence, one of my favourite fragrances ever? This fragrance has a few notes in common, but it is hardly the same. Guerlain Insolence: More iris, more berries, more tonka. Very sweet, heady, intoxicating. Think a sweet and smokey rendition of Lilac Wine, like Jeff Buckley's. Féerie: Here we have the Italian mandarin, rose, and vétiver along with the beautiful violet and iris combination. Effervescent if a bit sharper and more bitter. She is a complex, sweet & sour fairy. Instead of a warm, sweet dry down, it is a bit spicy, citric, ancient. As much as I enjoy this scent, I am not sure whether I would want one to replace it once it's gone. HOWEVER, if I were looking to replace it, I wouldn't go with Insolence. I would try to combine a citrus fragrance with any violet-forward lipstick fragrance. Of ones I've actually smelled— Oriza Legrand's Jardins d'Armide paired with Daisy by Marc Jacobs and/or Dsquared She Wood should get you most of the way there. All great fragrances in their own right, too.

The notes listed are not quite complete, as listed here, although may bear out for some. Green notes mentioned, specifically violet leaves, bring my nose to attention and are very much there. The Italian mandarin smells of lovely zest and is almost edible and left me wanting to find more in the heart or base. The black currant did not turn on me and become animalic, which happens to me frequently, but stayed a pleasant slightly tart berry note. The Egyptian jasmine leans to the indolic side but mildly and without developing strong menthols, just enough for that narcotic effect. The roses, there are two, the Bulgarian and the rose absolute, they are the star of the show for me. The aroma reminds me of dewy pink roses warmed by the sun, the stunning rich Sterling Silver rose with the waft of some spice of deep red roses blending in. Heady but not powdery or soapy but a garden in balance. The vetiver is gentle and does not turn the notes very dry, becoming a bit less heady, with a bit more dry and not sweet accent. The iris is orris butter, the oil providing some deep iris without the powder, a creamy carrot or parsnip. Feerie lasts well on me and is a silage bomb on me for the first hour or two and then settles into the rose beds that travel with you. So happy. I love layering Feerie, especially with something active like Jo Malone Bergamot and Oud Intense, that changes itself up frequently through the wear. I feel like I am walking through some beautiful earthy forest with amazing roses growing along the path. Layering Feerie may be just the ticket if it doesn't ring your bell by itself. I am very glad I ordered Feerie, the bottle is enchanting and unique, the fragrance quickly becoming a favorite for me, a versatile one at that.

I have to admit that I bought this blind for my lady because of the bottle... in the same manner I did for myself with Midnight in Paris. There's just something about Van Cleef and Arpels and their bottles that compel me to take action instead of admiring them from photos on the internet. The bottle is indeed wonderfully made and the faceted glass was stunning. Usually when a bottle is a beautiful as this one would be a little wary of the scent inside, as if one cannot have the best of both worlds. Unfortunately this notion is proven untrue by the Guerlains and Chanels and classics of the past. Feerie is yet another attestment to that. Feerie is not cloyingly sweet at all. The blackcurrant adds a sweet dimension but violet holds it in restraint. The result is a pleasant sweetness that is unlike the cloyingly sweet concoctions targeted at teens these days. Sure enough, my lady said it did not smell sweet to her. And she is an untrained nose. The scent does conjure up images of fairies and their abodes, possibly deep in the woods in an enchanted forest. It remains linear for most of its life, and has moderate sillage and longevity. It is as much a work of art as the beautiful bottle it comes in. I think it would be as perfect a first scent for any lady as it was for mine. I am disappointed to learn that it has been discontinued. This would probably mean it would become more elusive in time to come - like fairies.

I had no idea this was so incredible! Gotta get better at following when hidden gems like this perfume get discontinued. Apparently it was in discounter stores and sites for crazy cheap as of 2018 but now going for hundreds on eBay. Wild. I saw it on the highest shelf of a sketchy Fulton Mall shop and overpaid for a 50ml but had a very entertaining conversation with the seller and a customer that tempered the mild price gouging. The scent itself is glorious. My husband just played me the Galandriel scene from Lord of the Rings and (prior commenter) Pamelo is spot on with the connection. This is the scent of Cate Blanchett’s Galandriel. I get a dark mossy earthy berry rose violet. Not terribly sweet. Beautifully blended. I don’t understand the celeb scent comparisons at all. I’ve smelled countless celeb scents. All sugary vomit. What celeb or mass fragrance could this be similar to? So odd. I was also pleased with how beautiful the packaging and bottle are! I wish more perfume bottles were designed this well. Mugler releases come to mind. But this is better. The metal and glass all have a nice weight to them too. Easily one of my best ever blind buys!

I bought this perfume 15 years ago and fell in love with it: and no, I did not buy it for the bottle, it was the scent. Something in the scent was very elusive and intriguing to me when I sprayed it. However, I remember that there was something in the bottom notes that was a bit not to my taste, but I could not tell what it was that bothered me after wearing it a while. Considering I'm very picky and I did throw away bottles of perfumes I never finished over the years, I did finish this one to the last drop - which says a lot. I still have the bottle standing decoratively in my room, it is stunning. I recently tried to understand why I liked it so much, and what was the elusive scent that intrigued me so much back then. After 10 minutes I managed to squeeze a leftover drop and having compared it to other perfumes I realize it was the violet and iris, most likely. I thought that Guerlain Insolence would be similar, but it was not, not at all. The Guerlain turns sickeningly sweat after an hour, the vanilla in it ruins it. I'll have to find a substitute.

Such a gorgeous, gorgeous scent... Mmmmmm. It is absolutely marvelous. So pleasing to the senses. Feerie by Van Cleef and Arpels is not just all that appeal by the external. The very promising unique bottle is not to deceive ! The first time I came across the perfume, I said to myself, "You must be kidding me!". I wondered if the perfume would be too strong or probably be very offensive...dark. I am so glad all those have been answered and that all those are corrected. Feerie is such a nice and soothing scent...such a pleasing note filled with currant-y and some floral sweet note that dries down as a great memory of something nice. This fragrance lasts quite long too ! It has been 4 hours since I sprayed my wrist and I had worked here and there...I can still smell the scent and it is beautiful. Day or night, you can't go wrong. I recommend this for the modern chick, working girl and lady who likes to has great ambitions and wants to have dreams to come true...like a fairy !

Feerie :) It is impossible to wear Feerie and not want to smile. Try it. You'll find it's where the magic begins. It ends in a composition truly worthy of the packaging, the resulting expectations and a smile that starts with your eyes :) For me, Feerie is a bit of a matchmaker. My little faerie introduced me to the consummate floral fruity couple. The lovely, Violet and Black Currant. The two notes are perfectly matched here. They don't quite present the comfort of a long time couple, they're more exciting, more romantic in Feerie... newlyweds. They're together, but still shining individually... bright with the magical feel of youthful courting and possibilities. Feerie is a persistently hopeful, linear, long wearing little darling. She is perfect on a windy, windows open day. Just let her in and smile. Believe me, you won't be able to help yourself!

This is my joint number one favourite perfume (along with Velvet Isle by Arran Aromatics). It is a beautifully fresh, sweet, tart smell, like berries just picked from the forest, with a hint of grass, flowers and leaves. I can't really detect the individual scents in this perfume apart from the blackcurrants and red berries... the rest is kind of a beautiful haze of magical tartness, sweetness and 'foresty-ness' combined. It's one of the more 'grown up' perfumes that I own. It is such a beautiful smell, you could wear it in the daytime or the evening. Oh, and the bottle is absolutely stunning. My ONLY criticism is that you really do have to spray it quite a few times -- it's pretty weak. And even then you will need to spray again later. But it just means I carry it around in my bag and spray throughout the day -- it's worth it so smell to beautiful!

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that sometimes the fragrance chooses you.. This is my boyfriends favorite perfume that I wear. My daughter likes it best on me also..and her tastes normally run towards heavy hitters like Angel, Poison, Pink Sugar etc.. Although I previously enjoyed the smell of this I somehow turned away from its tender and demure nature, experimenting with so many others I thought would better represent my personality, And now I’ve come full circle. The powdery violet and black current feel like an ethereal hug from my childhood. The citrus, jasmine and hint of vetiver balance and give this fragrance enough depth to be wearable as a grown woman. It’s far from being a showstopper, but sometimes the most satisfying fragrance is the one that you can spray at any moment and you feel right at home.

Got a 100ml at bargain price a while ago, and it has been worth every cent. Not only is the bottle super pretty but the juice it self is really nice as an every day fragrance. The name and the bottle might suggest that Feerie is a dark night time fragrance, but for me it is quite the opposite. Not a mysterious, dark and out of the ordinary scent, but a sweet fruity floral. Violet is the strongest note by far in this one. And I'm not complaining being a violet fan. Very much a spring time scent, I would say. Would say both longevity and sillage are average. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary either. All in all a very nice and non offensive day scent with a nice bottle design. Well worth a try if you are into sweeter florals and want something uncomplicated and light to wear.

It seems as though I am in the minority of reviewers for this scent. The top notes on me were gorgeous, vibrant violets, a hint of the fruit and with an almost effervescent vibe. It was definitely not sweet. I really don't care for sweet or fruity fragrances and was so relieved that this wasn't one of those. The middle notes are just AHHHHHH! The rose and iris come out and mingle with the violets. The fruit gets a bit stronger, but the iris contains it beautifully. The dry down is what I love the best! Soft, woody, mossy floral that I just lose myself in. I believe this fragrance is beautiful, unique and age appropriate for anyone! It is one of my best ever blind buys! Sillage is moderate, which is perfect! Longevity is about 4-5 hours of bliss on me.

Feerie really surprised me. I bought this one blind because I love the unique bottle. I wasn't expecting much based on the notes but I found a 50ml bottle on eBay for a great price and figured it was worth it just to add that bottle to my collection. Upon trying it, I have to say I really like it! It may be love - time will tell.;) This perfume SPARKLES. It's very sweet and fresh but has just enough woodiness in the dry down to tamper the sugar overload. I'm really loving black currant lately and this frag presents the note just beautifully. Feerie has excellent silage and longevity - 12 hours plus. I think it just works well with my chemistry. It surrounds me with a lovely aura and I find myself smiling every time the scent touches my nose.

I love this midnight blue bottle, but i am not in love with the juice inside - just ordinary, nothing striking. On a positive note, this perfume last well over 6 hours, however, sillage is too soft. Unlike Oriens which smell far superior than this. Nevertheless, the bottle design is super cute in child like way. I find myself constantly smiling when looking at it, dreamlike :) (so it's worth paying the money for just looking at the bottle :)) Oh, those spiky twig is rather odd, but very useful! I can hang my rings on the branch & the angel wings -> an alternative usage for the bottle as a ring hanger :) Btw, this is EDP is slightly better than EDT version as it has a hint of mysterious depth where the EDT lacks. I recommend the EDP version.

An absolutely delightful addition to my perfume collection! The bottle is truly spectacular, like a work of art - a deep blue multi faceted crystal globe with a tiny silver faerie resting on the silver twigs above, watching over the fragrance... Who would have thought that the juice in it, would be equally beautiful? But it is. I get a delicious waft of black currants, some citrus, fruity (but not over the top) sweetness with a tangy floral kick that is simply divine. The sillage is about four feet but inoffensive to those around at the same time because the fragrance is also really pretty. As is the powdery dry-down on my skin. Lasted seven hours on me. What more can a girl ask for?!

At first, I was disappointed that it is so light. Of course, it would be! What did I expect a strong oriental? Slap head now. I do have the edp and it is LIGHT, airy and oh yes, beautiful. Ethereal... This is one that could be for any age, it is timeless. I could even see giving to a tweener, as it would be lovely and inoffensive as a scent and so gorgeous a bottle. Conversely, it would also be a great scent for an intimate encounter, as some strong nightclub strength scents are overpowering to most men when that close. Sexy? Only in that he could still smell you through it. The edt must be even slighter? Still, I am tempted to get it so my bottle will have a companion.

The bottle is what will initially get you, but Feerie's scent is what will really make you love it. It's a very original one. Feerie definitely lives up to the regalness that is it's pretty bottle. This is the fragrance of sweet violets dancing with delicate powder. Just like the tiny little fairy sitting on top of it, it exudes innocence and purity. I have never loved violet themed perfumes until I ran into this little gem. The only downfall to this lovely perfume is the lasting power, it really only lasts a few hours on me and then it's gone. It really doesn't bother me all too much though, the scent itself is very much worth the respraying.

I'm not a fragrance collector/connoisseur, and I've thrown out many a beautiful bottle of nice perfume, but this one is staying for long after I use up however much is left in the bottle. VC&A's Feerie is a work of art inside & out (literally). As is to be expected from a luxury jewelry brand. I posted in another fragrance review that I usually get bored with fragrances after a few weeks of wear, but Feerie along with only a handful remain a staple in my fragrance collection. I wore it to see La Sylphide ballet and that's my association for this perfume. Like a fairy it's an understated, yet lovely, elusive and enchanting scent.

I have a prejudice with perfume bottles: I don't trust them. At the beginning I hated this fragance, I really don't like the opening. Half an hour later I couldn't keep my nose very far from my wrist, I had become addicted. Still, I wasn't sure... I tried it three more times comparing it with some other fragances. Took me two years to find something like this: awsome, delighfull, joyfull, classy. I really love it. In my very pale skin it smells fruity, not so much floral, but not too sweet, just perfect. I don't think it would work for everyone either, is very personal. In my skin it smells great.

Very smooth and sweet fragrance..I'd imagine soft oil rather than liquid when I sniff this. It's really fruity, with almost no heavy base noted to balance that out. I'm very surprised not to find any musc in the composition, because it does have a soapy-ish clean smell to my nose, maybe it's the green crispiness of vetyver. Very fruity, extremely long lasting and the bottle is to die for.. I like it for it's quality and overall appeal, however it's too sweet for my taste and I couldn't wear it much.. But I'm sure fruit lovers will appreciate it's beauty.

I hated this at first sniff but I really, really like the bottle so I kept dabbing myself with the mini that I got. Like all my favorites, it grew on me---little by little until I find myself reaching for it more often, like a comfort scent. For me, this is the darker sister of Dior's I love Dior, but for some reasons, this is so many notches more impressive because of the way it mixes with the skin. I would love to own a full sized bottle. This smells like velvety flowers dipped in the most expensive fragrant wines. The bottle is hypnotic too.

This is on my need to get asap list, the notes sound absolutely heavenly, and my bf adores Violet scents. I have not had the fortune to sample this one yet, but I will blind buy it, the bottle is a piece of art. Update: I just got it from Amazon, and I am in love, the mid notes and dry down are most impressive, longevity is good. My BF LOVES it. I was concerned about the black currant note as it is not my fav, but all the notes mesh beautifully together. So glad I bought it, perfect for romantic evenings too, very happy.

This perfume is the perfect floral fruity! A little bit of fruit and a little bit of flowers, a slight bit of powdery iris thrown in; not too fresh and not too warm. Very sparkly, like a star lit night sky. It is a simple fragrance but it can never go wrong, and you can never be bored with it because it is just so darn sweet and it lasts forever on your skin! You will get whiffs of this all day and night (magical violet), it floats on your skin like a Fairy. The bottle is a great piece of eye candy too!

Green and mysterious---suited for women who can place one under a spell. The violet and the blackcurrant give some depth to the florals, making it sheer yet full bodied. It is one of the smoothest fragrances I have ever encountered. If I will compare it to one, it would be to Dior's I Love Dior. However, Feerie is classier, frutier, has better packaging, and less metallic than I Love Dior. This lasts and lasts and lasts on me. I should wear it more.

Really love the bottle. It is a really nice smell. A little bit simple, at first. Mainly super sweet. Sweet like blue raspberry jolly ranchers or pixie sticks.. Has a citrus tanginess to it. Once it mellows out, the smell is soft and more floral and complex. Less like sweet candies and more like velvety silk. Easy to wear and easy to like. I would like to sleep in this. Very happy to have it in my collection. Will bring me sweet dreams.

A really luxurius fairy tale fragance and bottle!!! is great... sofisticated and unique!!! Only for people that like and apreciates the real very good quality on a parfum! My first impression was to be smelling the freshly blooming violets of my grandmother's yard... after i felt the rose and vetiver.... all accompanied by a subtle and enveloping soft scent of fresh mandarines... A set of unique and magical aromas.

Candied violets, powdery-jammy cheeky fragrance, I know it is not Sophia Grojsman's baby, but very similar style-wise on Sophia's signature - decent amount of fruity-powder on top of florals and her favourite violets. Feerie is great for those with a sweet tooth and who simply not in a mood for something intellectual, not today, the fairy-featuring bottle is a bonus of course. Very long-lasting on me.

Extremely, extremely, extremely UNDERRATED fragrance. Not only the bottle is the best among my wife’s collection, but the scent is very very nice. No one can dislike it. Not great performance, but for the price range, the best i know. Its a cheaper version of atkinsons nuptial bouquet to my nose. Not a professional nose i have, but thats the way i feel I get more florals from it and no fruits at all

This is definitely one of the more unique scents that I own! I bought it blind based on the reviews...and admittedly, because of the gorgeous bottle, too...and I am definitely pleased! I would describe it as a woody berry scent. Something about the notes gives it the feeling of a dry berry mojito...it's very crisp! Definitely earthy, but more wood than greenery. It feels very fairy-like to me!

I’m also sad it’s no longer produced. Few months ago I wanted to go back to it and found out it’s gone :( I remember it was very nice, fruity-powdery violet scent. And the bottle.. I love such aesthetic so for me it was (and still is/probably always will be) the most beautiful bottle ever. The smell also gave me an enchanted forest, magical vibe.

exclusive perfume. tale. It creates a sense of fairy tale unreality and image of the fairy. fully corresponds to its name. Singularly, long projection and durability. I can feel it on my clothes for days. and each observes "yes, that your perfume", which means that memorable and leaves a memory. magical, enchanting. favorite!

As marketing professionals realize, I was immediately attracted to the bottle, bought a sample online, and fell in love. Not something I'd wear every day, but I do plan on purchasing a full-sized bottle for my next big fragrance splurge. Woodsy-sweet. I can sense the fairy sitting on my shoulder all day long.

Got a raving compliment on this from my dog's vet, so I made a sample for her. Then I got 2 compliments on it in one day! A soft, tender violet with some complexity. Had a sample and fell hard for it and the bottle is a bene. You get a fairy sitting on a branch on the cap; it's quite a lovely piece of work.

If bright and whimsical had a smell, it would be Feerie. Very pretty bottle and although some may feel the fragrance is not unique and intriguing, it is a lovely scent. If you seek this out merely for the asthetics of the bottle, you might be pleasantly surprised and find an occasion to wear this.

After using this fragrance 3 times in 3 days, now I understand why Van Cleef and Arpels calls this scent "Feérie", coz it really connects me to the fairy world where Thumbelina and Peter Pan exist, the same vibe as Lolita Lempicka The First Fragrance. I just wish for more the Egyptian Jasmine.

Like a bag of skittles emptied over a patch of the most charming violets and then the whole thing sprinkled with a dash of magical glitter. Very well named, and not for the darker crueler fairies of legend, this fairy is only the cheeriest and most good natured of fey creatures.

Gorgeous bottle & lovely perfume. On my skin this is a fall/winter scent. I primarily smell violet, black current plus juicy and jammy red berries. A lovely perfume, but it's worth purchasing for the gorgeous bottle alone.

Soft Violets surronded by juicy berries. Black Currant & Vetiver are subtle, but noticeable. Lovely scent and gorgeous bottle. Longevity could be better though.

When I wear it, I'm feel like a black currant jam ! And yes, I love it ! I just love the mix of black currant with the violet and the mandarin !

I bought feerie for it's adorable bottle.I had rose de neigts flanker of it because of it's magnolia and rose and I felt I need this pretty bottle too to sit near it's sister.it's notes didn't look like I'd really like it.I have a love/hate relationship with violet and iris and black current and red berries are not my favorite fruit notes.but actually it's scent is also very pretty.it opens juicy and Berryish-citrusy and tart.In the opening I can smell Mandarin more than any other fruit notes.but after five minutes berries kick in and their delicate fruity sweetness balances citrus sourness.ten minutes after applying,blackcurrent is the most dominant note and there's just a slight hint of redberries and Mandarin in the background.fruits aren't very tart and juicy anymore but they're not too sweet either florals are also pretty here.powdery violet,iris and rose slowly take the front seat(violet being strongest one) it's mostly a violet-blackcurrent combo on my skin it's delicate,youthful and flirty but not bright.it has a twilight like darkness which makes it also good for night wear but all in all it's not as mysterious as it's bottle may suggest.it reminds me a fruity lipbalm I have.even vetiver which becomes apparent in drydown isn't really bad.i t makes feerie a tad drier and a little dark and serious So feerie is a pretty scent with a prettier bottle.not my usual type and not a favorite of mine,still it's likable and wearable.it's easily wearable year round but is more a spring/summer type for me.longevity and sillage are moderate at their best.I believe it's ageless and suitable for all age groups.actually it's more adult than it's fruity opening may suggest.it's more similar to lalique amethyst eclat than amethyst but I like it more than lalique.I find it classier and less berryish and more feminine.it's also milder.. there's also similarities between feerie and guerlain insolence EDT but violet in feerie isn't as strong as in insolence Recommended to berry-powder lovers but even if you don't like it's notes you may like it I like it but it's far from my imagination of a fairy scent ❤❤❤ شروع عطر با رایحه ملس و آبدار میوه ای مرکباتی همراهه..تو پنج دقیقه اول من پرتقال ماندارین رو بیشتر حس میکنم اما کمی بعد توتهای قرمز هم اضافه میشن.. حدود ده دقیقه،یه ربع بعد از اسپری شدن چندان خبری از رایحه آبدار و ملس پرتقال و توت های قرمز نیست.انگورسیاه براونها غلبه پبدا میکنه و عطر از ترشی میوه ای درمیاد گلها(بنفشه،زنبق و رز)کم کم اضافه میشن.بعد از مدتی رایحه غالب عطر ترکیبی از بنفشه و انگورسیاه هست.رایحه ای ملایم و معتدل و پودری که برام یادآور بوی بالم لب میوه ای هست که دارم.تو این مرحله،عطر دیگه ملس نیست و شیرینی خیلی ملایمی داره تو درای داون با اضافه شدن وتیور همون شیرین ضعیف،کمرنگتر هم میشه و فضای عطر کمی تیره و جدی و خشک میشه.درمجموع عطر ملایم و مدرن و دوست داشتنی هست.نمیشه گفت خیلی تیره ست اما یه فضای کمی تیره و گرگ و میشی داره که باعث میشه برای استفاده تو عصروشب هم مناسب بنطر بیاد برخلاف لحظات اولیه که شاید بخاطر تم میوه ای و خنک،سن عطر رو کم حس کنبد بنظر من از اون عژراست ک اصلا محدودیت سنی نداره چون هرچی میگذره بالغتر میشه.همونقدر که برای یه دخترخانم هجده ساله اوکی هست برای یه خانم پنجاه و هشت یاله هم اوکیه اگه عطرهای پودری،توتی دوست دارید که حتما عاشقش میشید اما حتی اگه علاقه ای به این دسته ندارید بازم بعیده از فیری بدتون بیاد چون تمام ترکیبات خیلی ملایم ظاهر شدن شباهتهایی به لالیک آمتیس اکلت داره منتها ملایمتر،زنونه تر پودری تر و شیکتر هست و توت ها تو همتای لالیکش قویتر هستن.شباهت هایی هم به گرلن اینسولنس ادوتویلت داره اما شدت پودر و بنفشه اینجا کمتره..شابد بشه گفت این عطر ون کلیف درواقع میتونه فرزند اینسولنس و لالیک آمتیس باشه فیری قابلیت استفاده بصورت چهارفصل رو داره اما برای بهاروتابستون بهتره(معتدل متمایل به خنکی)ماندگاری و پخش نهایتا متوسط هستن درمجموع عطر زیبایی هست تو شیشه بسیار زیباتر.من که ازش بدم نیومد هرچند هیچ شباهتی به تصوراتم از عطر یه پری نداره میتونه عطر پرکاربردی باشه.بخاطر ملایمت قابلبت استفاده روزانه داره و یه حالت شیک و کمی هم رسمی داره که برای محل کار و مصارف دیگه مناسبش میکنن بشخصه فلنکر فیری رز د نیت رو بیشتر دوس دارم

For context: I bought this used, only 50% full. Who knows how long the previous owner had it , or how they stored it. I MOSTLY wanted the bottle at an affordable price, and the juice was just a bonus. Anyway, to me this smells like a grape Charms lollipop mixed with those old timey Violette candies. I'm not getting a ton of darkness or complexity. The rose and jasmine is really quiet, It's doing *just enough* to keep this from turning into a cloying cough syrup. It just smells sweet and fruity, which is okay for me, because I was worried the violets would make it too dry or vegetal and I usually don't like peppery vegetal notes. I was hoping the vetiver would add that earthy soily undertone to make this dark and damp, but I'm not getting too much of that either. Based on previous reviews, I was expecting something like Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's "ThunderMoon" which is composed of: "bruise-purple violet, 3-year aged black patchouli, black cashmere musk, oakmoss, black benzoin, rum, French labdanum, and vetiver slashed by a burst of white lychee and bergamot." But no darkness, no thunder, no ozone, no earth. Just a very PURPLE edible smell. It does eventually dry down into something more woody. Ironically, The dry down of this smells very similar to the way V&R Bon Bon dries down on me, sweet and woody and a touch of jasmine and amber. Sillage and longevity are very good, however, I tried this on the first day of fall, rather than spring time- which seems to be the most voted season for this fragrance. Over all, I'm just happy to have some fairies on my shelf. Wouldn't mind collecting the others. Feerie Gold is my ultimate target, but that seems to be impossible to find.

Yes definitely bought for the bottle. The Van Cleef & Arpels A Midsummer Night's Dream collection was really, really beautiful. It was just like a dream, unreal beauty. It's really sad that they removed those pages from their website. The day will never come when I can buy those gems, but in my twenties I decided to buy this perfume instead. The sapphire blue bottle and the platinum fairies were beautiful enough to capture my heart and I bought it as soon as it was released without even trying it. I actually think this is a pretty young women's fragrance. Contrary to the luxury of the brand and the beauty of the bottle, this perfume feels like a cute scent for girls who like Anna Sui and Jill Stuart. It opens with sweet and delicious berry candies. After that, the violets that were buried in the berry candy will appear, and the iris will appear and gradually become powdery. It's toned down in sweetness over time, but I still can't bring myself to retract that it's for young girls. I used it when I was in my 20's, but now I don't think I will. Well, I lost this cap even though I bought it for the beautiful bottle. How sad. To be honest, the cap was too beautiful and too intrusive for everyday perfume use. So I set it aside with the cap off and lost it when I moved. stupid me... And recently I noticed another tragedy. I've had this in the back of my closet for a long time. Despite keeping it level, the perfume seems to have oozed through the interface between the glass and metal parts of the bottle, ruining the metal parts. I think Feerie probably hated me. Anyway, if you bought Feerie just for the bottle, I recommend using up the perfume inside.

Just learned this is discontinued. A shame, because Feerie is quite amazing. The opening is a bit off-putting: a syrupy Robinson's summer berries cordial. No sooner than the pungent sweetness dissipates we get a frontal assault of black current, red berry, violet and (in a big way) rose. The rose adds a very interesting dynamic by somehow darkening the composition, and making it moody, mysterious and etherial. Jasmine, iris and vetiver more evident deeper into the dry down. Maybe not an everyday scent. I say this only because I tend to use it as a special occasion scent. But, when the senses demand a reset, this is what I reach for. It lasts hours and and projects pretty reasonably for the duration. When Frodo offers Cate Blanchett's Galadriel 'The (one) Ring', she sees how she would replace Sauron, at first full of good intention, but succumbing to the ring's irresistible evil nature. In a moment of terrifying cinematic drama, her appearance momentarily transitions to a stark monochrome, and in a frightening intonation says: "In place of the Dark Lord you would have a Queen. Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn. Treacherous as the Sea. Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair!” Galadriel resists temptation, passes the test, knowing she can pass into The West with her Elven brethren. Well, Feerie is the scent of Galadriel. Inspired. Beautiful. And now, as rare as the Woodland Realm themselves. 🧚♀️

Update January 1st 2016: I would like to reconsider my opinion on this beautiful fragrance. The scent changed with the time. I do not know if it is due to the the time of stockage or the fact that the bottle remained stable for some time without being shacked on the bedroom table but now all elements of this perfume has developed properly and it became subtle, flowery and airy. In the past I found it too sweet with the dominant black current note. But now the black current is more on the background and the perfume became extremely well balanced and only slightly sweet and especially very flowery with aromatic violet and rose that mingle with jasmine and iris creating the atmosphere of the true fairy word. I've chosen to ware it for the magic occasion most of all suitable for such a magic perfume - the new year evening! The period of happiness, best wishes, dreams and hopes that all the following years can be only better then before. 3 Janvier 2015: The bottle is a real gem. I like this frangrance but I'm afraid to get used to it to the point it becomes usual and cloying for me. So to avoid it I use this perfume rarely for special occasions. For me it's a sweet flagrance and I can easily detect violets and black current. Pleasant scent and beautiful purchase for my perfume collection.

Feerie has one of the most eye-catching bottles in the perfume world. The bottle itself is already attractive enough to make me commit an impulse blind buy. However, a gorgeous bottle containing a splendid fragrance, isn't it too good to be true? Well, splendid might it not be, I certainly had a delightful surprise. The opening actually smells slightly spicy to me. For the first hour, besides vague fruits and flowers, I also smell something like ginger. After the gentle spiciness fades away, here comes a lovely blend of sparkling black currant and red berries, powdery violet and a light touch of rose. Every composition offers their most adorable aspects but still remain in harmony. It smells like some sort of violet candy. Sweet, not the gourmand type, but with a mature approach. However, feerie still has one important drawback IMO. After about 3 hours, it soon dries down into a soft iris scent with a ghost of the wonderful middle notes. It's still lovely, but with 2 good spritzes I still have to stick my nose to the wrist to detect it. Nevertheless, it's still a lovely and versatile fragrance in a stunning bottle. Plus, it's a fragrance relatively easy to appreciate. I'm sure most people will be happy receiving it as a gift.

I bought this perfume, like most everyone else, just for the bottle... which doesn't disappoint. Frankly, I was pretty unconcerned about what was inside. I'm happy to be able to say that I like the juice. It does have a fruity opening that quickly gives way to florals. In fact, it reminds me a lot of Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en Blanc which is also heavy on iris and violet, but Feerie is less powdery and has more silage. It's also only moderately sweet with a surprisingly bitter edge, probably thanks to the iris which also adds the powdery note. The iris is strong with this one, borderline too strong for me for about 30 minutes. I like iris in fragrances but it has a bitterness to it when it's not tempered. Fortunately, after a little while rose comes through to sweeten things up a little bit. In fact, the far dry down reminds me of the woody rose of Cartier's Goutte de Rose. All in all this is a surprisingly sophisticated fragrance. It's not spectacular but it's solid. If, like me, your goal is to smell like a fairy... I say, "Try it." At worst you'll end up with a gorgeous piece for your dresser. But to me, nothing says "fairy" like Hanae Mori EDT.

I bought this blind from Neiman Marcus -- based on reviews and recommendations. I REALLY LIKE!! I expected it to be more sweet. But it's ever so slightly tart or bitter (a good thing). It is fruity, without being overly sweet and gourmand. Which makes me smile -- I have finally found a fruity parfum that isn't sugary sickly sweet at all! This is really nice. I love the tart black currant. If you have ever eaten black currants they are very different - bitter and not very sweet at all. Feerie sweetens slightly after the first 20 minutes, the jasmine and rose make themselves known yet are not overpowering, and the dry down is a light powdery iris. The black currant and hints of mandarin notes carry through the entire longevity which is very nice. I love that the top notes you can detect all the way through the dry down, and don't completely fade. It is not a sugary sweet, candy or syrupy scent at all. It is fruity yet slightly sweet with a bitterness that is really beautifully done. I wouldn't call this overly powdery either. The Iris (which gives it the powdery scent) is very nice. Longevity is fairly good! I am really happy with this purchase.
