Appleberry Champagne

It smells just as it says. Appleberry champagne. But it is STRONG!!! I'll say at first it's a very fruity, sweet, and fresh apple scent but as it dries down it becomes a flirty champagne, along with a little orange blossom. If you're going to a party and want a youthful and celebratory scent that lasts long and packs a punch - go with this!! Very longlasting and sillage is godly. I remember a few years ago I wore this to school (it was a bad idea, too strong for school or office), and people at least 5 feet away from me would say "you smell good" or "who smells like champagne?", stuff like that. So...it's very strong and very apple-champagne-y. I personally love it, with the unforgettably long-lasting scent and strong sillage it makes a perfume I want to re-purchase if I ever run out of it. If you buy it just keep in mind to never spray more than 2 times. It'll save you from a headache and others from being offended.

This opens as a sugary green apple Jolly Rancher and then fades to a sparkling glass of fruity champagne. The change is barely perceptible because this is not a complex fragrance by any means. It's cute, though, and suitable for someone young and uncomplicated.

i remember getting a sample of this and it was so yummy. smelled like sparkling green pear & crisp soda. i was like 12 at the time so.. maybe i just wanted to eat it

This one smells a lot like the "So White" bath bomb that Lush releases around the holiday season. Fizzy candied apples, with a barely-there hint of powderiness.

Lots of sweet candied apple, a little powdery. Very simple but pleasant and long lasting.

Champagne apple bomb that lasts Aaaaallllll day!!!

NOPE. When will I learn that my body chemistry seems to take a Cedar note and amplifies it to nauseating within nanoseconds! I'm looking for a nice, fresh, juicy green apple scent for the summer. I despise D&G's Lt. Blue and haven't gotten around to DKNY's Delicious or So Delicious or whatever. I received a carded sample of Appleberry with another purchase, so I gave it a shot. Perhaps I was too heavy handed? Because, this stuff hit my nose, knocked my head back and made my eyes water!! Why IS it that scents that you dislike are the hardest to wash off? You darn near need a cheese grater and a nice skin graft for this one. Sorry, Vera Bradley's Appleberry, it's not you...

I cannot see how anyone would want to wear this. First thought was sweet cantaloupe which ended quickly. Then only a scent like nasty glass cleaner that destroyed my nose & gave me a headache! The bottle needs to have a warning label. It’s so much like a dangerous chemical you’d want to run from. It’s that bad!

A very uncomplicated scent. Apples. Champagne. Berries. Check, check and check. I will say the sillage and longevity are there to a fault. It goes on and stays on. And on and on and on....

I really really wanted to like this, but to me it smelled like strong hand sanitizer

This will be the weirdest review I've ever written but here goes. . . This is for people who may be taking a chance with this scent online without smelling it in person. Have you ever smelled or tasted "boar taint"? (I cannot believe I just typed boar taint in a fragrance review I AM SO SORRY VERA BRADLEY). It's when ham or bacon can smell or taste very "off" and whether or not you are sensitive to it depends on genetics. So this isn't for the vast majority of people reading this. I'm sure this perfume smells fine to most, and I'm certainly not discouraging anyone from buying it if this doesn't apply to you. But if you are sensitive, this is not the fragrance for you. I took one whiff of this perfume and after I was successful in not dry-heaving I made my husband and in-laws smell it. I mean, when something this awful you have to share it, right? Well they all thought it smelled pleasant enough. I was baffled. This went beyond me finding a fragrance that I didn't like, this was a full-body rejection of what had just went up my nose. Why wasn't anyone else reacting the same? So by now my children were super curious why mommy was shoving a bottle at people's noses and they wanted a sniff. Number one, liked it. Number two, liked it. Number three, looked like she had been punched in the face. That's when I tied it together. She's the one who also can't eat meat with the smell, and that's exactly what this fragrance evokes. But like times a million. So if you're buying "blind" online just be aware of this one person's reaction. I'd also be super curious if anyone else has had the same reaction to this scent.

I soooooo want to love this. I should, based on the notes. However, I not only don't love, I vehemently DISLIKE. Champagne so overpowers the apple, and the combination is not appealing. I had hoped for a light, bubbly fragrance. Instead, it's dark, heavy and unpleasant. It IS very long-lasting, but there is no improvement in the dry-down. :(

Got this for a steal at TJ Maxx. I know a lot of people are picking up apples but I get pears from this too, perhaps it's the champagne

I gave it to my niece, she was 9 at that time. Was so thrilled. It smelled childish to me.
