Be Jeweled Rouge

Smells Aaaaammmaaaazing! This was a blind buy...so glad I took the risk, for a mere $18.00 there was not much to lose LOL. Fruity, boozy, sexy and intoxicating. I love it! This is a "Pink", but definitely a classy, grown up version of what is considered a typical pink fragrance. Don't let the gaudy little bottle fool ya into thinking it is just for teens or younger women. I bought it thinking if I didn't like it, I would give it to my daughter or her 7 year old, perfume loving, little daughter, who is constantly dabbling and forever experimenting and learning in my mass of perfumes. "Hey... anything goes at G-Moms"! Hell no...they are not getting this little gem! Sillage and longevity are wonderful for me. I may have found a new everyday favorite.♥ Going to hide this one LOL from my darling granddaughter... NO ONE, but me is going to be playing with this one!

This is one of my all time favourite perfumes. It's a very "bright" Perfume in my opinion. Starts off with a good dose of redcurrant and wild berries, super sharp and tangy, not sour though. As it settles down you can still smell that Berry smell, but it turns more creamy. You can detect the florals a lot more and a touch of praline. Glad I got two bottles of this as they discontinued it, and it's now a staggering amount to buy, if you can even get hold of it!

I just bought this today from Kohl's. They only had the 1oz/30ml bottle so that's what I bought. I really like this one. It's much better than the first one, IMO. I just wish they had the 3.4oz bottle,though.

Of course I'm going to buy this because of the bottle! And if the perfume smells good, all the more reason to buy it!

I’m not sure I cared for the initial blast. The first thing I picked up was a big dose of peony and some fruity accords. I can’t pick up the orchid or gardenia much. I think it’s pretty, and bright which is good for the warmer weather. It’s definitely nothing revolutionary. In my collection, it is pretty basic. This doesn’t mean it’s a bad fragrance, I just don’t think it stands out to me. It’s a bit safe for my taste. I would consider it a scent I’d probably wear around the house or grocery shopping, but I don’t think it’s special enough for a date night or special occasion. It’s more of a day to day scent for spring or summer. It has a very soft base. I can’t say I pick up praline, but can pick up a soft white musk and cashmeran. I actually like the base more than the top and mid. It sits pretty close to the skin so you’d have to be pretty close to smell it. It’s pretty but I’m teetering between like and ok.

I call this my grown up little girl perfume. It's sweet, fruity, a little predictable in some ways, but completely addictive. It gives me a lift in my day and satisfies the side of me that remembers my first "starter" perfumes when I was very young. It is tacky yet elegant yet grown up yet utterly youthful.. for some reason it is a smell that I cannot get enough of. I could see myself wearing this in a summer dress at a picnic or on a night out in the town. The best blind buy I have made to date, and it was cheap and cheerful at my local Marshalls.

This scent is somewhat addictive but I'm not really sure why. It smells juicy and pink and a little bit fruity. Almost reminds me of juicy fruit gum but not an exact match. If juicy fruit gum and Hawaiian punch were mixed together I imagine this is what they would smell like. It's suited to a younger crowd but I'm an "old lady" and I wear it to bed some nights. Longevity is moderate. Silllage is soft. Bottle is cute. Not bad if you can get it for a bargain but too generic to buy full price.

Decided to get this as I found a bottle at Marshalls for cheap. Thought. Why not. I previously said I wasn't impressed. I do like the scent but nothing new. What I do like about it is it is a clean fruity scent. Not too heavy. It actually wears well. Not as well as the original but still a nice scent. The bottle really isn't as cute as the original but still pretty none the less. It's a 2.5-3 out of 5 fragrance.

I bought this perfume for my friend and it's true, the scent is kind of generic. But it still smells really good and makes a nice casual scent. I actually prefer it to some of Vera Wang's powdery scents...this one is more fun. I definitely wouldn't spend too much on it, but luckily I got it at a deep discount. If I see another one I'm going to snatch it up for myself :)

I like it. It comes out extremely sweet. I smell gardenia, peony and berries. I don't smell the pralines but that's a good thing I guess. It settles down after 20 minutes and what is left is a faint raspberry smell could even be the peony. It's not as strong as when it first comes out.

Well I wanted this because I LOVE Be Jeweled. Well this isn't anything special. Very reminiscent of other scents. Not so much like Be Jeweled. It's not a bad scent just nothing really special. Let alone special enough to purchase. The bottle wasn't as pretty as I had hoped either.

As sweet as this is, it still has a fresh aspect that makes it really good for spring and summer. Rather light on sillage, good for workplaces. More berry than floral. It's a great daily wear fragrance in warmer weather. Very nice.

A fun, berry scent in a pretty bottle with surprising longevity (on me, now going on 7 hours). This is just a like for me, but it prompted an unsolicited "You smell good" from my 5 year old son, so it'll be sticking around. :).

Like many others i found this for cheap at tj maxx and blind bought it. So disappointed i just tossed it after about 3 wears. First off the bottle is cheap looking..the removable jewels look like something that came off of a my little pony. Not at all in line with the classy and expensive refinement the vera wang brand tries to project..but then neither is the princess line. Bizarre how vw has chosen to go after the justin bieber demographic with her fragrances when her fashions are clearly aimed at a completely different market. Anyway the fragrance is godawful. Sickly sweet berries, a boring mix the likes of which youve smelled everywhere, mostly in the celeb fragrance fruity floral department. And then a slap of hateful, cloying, headache inducing musk that just makes me want to scrub off my skin immediately. Sickening and juvenile. Good thing i didnt spend much on this.

Not your typical fruity floral. I think this "Rouge" version is enormously better than the first one. It's not overly sweet but instead has a zesty, fresh, berries smell. I was pleasantly surprised when I first sprayed the tester and wasn't hit with sugar, as expected. It is youthful but grown up. I find myself smelling my wrist all day long. Unfortunately like most perfumes these days the longevity is not that great. Fades after about 5 hours. But I think this perfume truly has a beautiful heart and isn't "teenage sugar crazed", if you will. The bottle is a keeper too which is an added bonus for those of us that keep ours :) Happily, it seems this is one of those that will go down in price so I hope once I finish my 1 oz. I can buy a bigger one or set at a great price. Anyways I highly recommend. Kind of smells like coach poppy or freesia but better.

Mind blowing synthetic berries - it's like that bottle of Fantasy in the red flacon with something almost Cabotine-ish or Gucci flora limited edition floral range (can't remember which one) in the way the floral accords are constructed. I think it's a pretty safe blind buy if you get it cheap and like what I'm describing here. The bottle is a big blingy thing. Somehow I can't get past the image that this is a body wash type fragrance, where you wash off the worst of the synthetic top notes and enjoy what remains for 10-30 minutes then get on with your day. It's a good go to for someone who had a less sensitive nose and wants to smell of berry body wash

Sweet red berry and grape scent. This fragrance smells so delicious. It has floral notes I like: orchid and peony. This also smells like a little rose or rosebud. The bottle is lovely. Not a complex or long lasting scent pretty girlish and very easy to wear. Something to put on just for fun and not to make a statement. There are better Vera Wang perfumes out there but this is nice. I love the berry/red currant fruit scent which then becomes a peony and vanilla orchid. The dry down is nondescript except for a praline and vanilla. Sweet and powdery. Recommended for day time wear and for girls who have begun to wear perfume.

Huh I bought this at TJ Maxx, attracted by pretty bottle. Sadly, this scent didn't live to my expectations. So far I was meh on most Vera Wang scents and this one was no different. I am actually surprised that it has gardenia in it because I can't smell even a hint of it. What's more, I can barely smell floral notes. This pretty much smells like raspberry spray to me. Its pleasant but it doesn't really smell like perfume, more like body spray from BBW, if you know what I mean.

I going to start this review the same way I start 99 percent of my reviews....I found this gem at Shoppers Drug Mart the other day on the clearance shelf for $19,99. I had actually never smelled this but I LOVE the original, it's in my top ten of all time so not buy this right? Well it is pretty, its very similar to some of the coach poppy fragrances. It is inoffensive and work friendly so long as you don't go crazy. All together I do love it
