Bouquet

I used this in the summer between my junior year and senior year in college. I saw it at a department store, saw the 50 ml bottle and the light green color of the perfume, and when I wafted the first spray I was immediately sold. It's a fresh and light floral perfume without much sweetness to it, which really separates itself from other floral perfumes. Sometimes fresh floral perfumes that are not sweet would smell like stems of the flowers - this one doesn't. This one smells like a fresh bouquet of flowers, literally. An accurate description would be that it smells like the leaves of the flowers (again, not the stem). A truly unique perfume - mine is quite old now so it makes me sad but even smelling the lid of the perfume takes me back to the summer in college and walking around the campus and going back and forth between the lab/research centers and the library.

This scent comes on too strong, and never seems to simmer to anything I can even tolerate wearing. It's got some major floral heavy hitters like honeysuckle, narcissus and lavender. Which by themselves can be heavy imo..I have a lg. bottle of this and it justs sits there mocking me. Put it like this, your in a major dept. store and it's christmas time and there's hundreds of ladies spritzing perfume, this is that smell! UPDATE 1/14- I now adore an appreciate this perfume. If I spray it on the outside of my arm instead of the inside it smells so much better. I'm realling feeling the lavender and iris, it smells like an elegant high quality lotion. Somewhat similar to her signature scent, but brighter and more girly. $$ well spent thank goodness.

I'm a fan of white floral fragrance. It lasts longer than any other notes. I never have any Vera Wang fragrances, they are quite expensive in my country. But I found out it was on sale on lazada, it was only $18. Without a doubt, I bought 2 bottles! So here I am now, enjoying the beautiful honeysuckle, jasmine & green notes. And it lasts for 8 hours. Even after I wash my hand, I still notice small hints of it! This and EA untold are true gems!

Oh my! I love this perfume. I found it online in Norway for $25 usd for 100 ml and bought it without checking here first. I knew that Vera Wang is a decent brand and took a chance. I sprayed it on me and immediately thought ‘HONEYSUCKLE!’ And other lucious floral scents. It is fresh, clean, and not too sweet. I would have named this Spring. I had nothing like it. I am in love. No kidding. It is February but I am wearing it anyway. Luscious!

i need not to write much about how nice & delicate this smell as most on here have described this pretty well :) I really like this perfume but it is not long lasting as others designer EDP. (This is what i noticed with Vera Wang line of perfumes, lovely but not long lasting). It last for about 2hours it is almost gone, staying very close to skin. It is not exactly cheap either so my money is better spent on other brands.

Jaspersen send me a large vial of this perfume and although Vera Wang is not really my house, this perfume is very very lovely. It is subtle, but sophisticated. Fresh and intimate. It is very well balanced. Great perfume! Hope to have it in a large size soon!!

Playful and witty, but also sweet and unique by it's floral aura. This is a fragrance worn by the woman surrounded by those fond of her. Amiable, but envied. She is the life of her atmosphere and the acknowledged bloom in a dying field.

Love it, even if it disappears quickly on my skin and clothes. The scent is fresh, clean, white flowery, with some greenish or grassy notes. Not overpowering, which is perfect to wear for work. I wish it lasted too long though.

usally it takes a while for me to love a perfume, but with this one i just LOVE it best perfume i've brought <3

I have been searching for a honeysuckle-based scent and Vera Wang Bouquet has been on my wishlist for some time now. Fortunately I came across a good deal at a discount store and snagged it up. Overall I must admit that I had higher expectations for this fragrance but it's a pretty safe purchase (since it was a blind buy). Based on my experience with Bouquet I would say that other Vera Wang scents would probably make good gifts for birthdays or holidays. Just make sure you check the notes beforehand. The opening consists of intense green notes (cassis leaves and narcissus flower) which later fade and allow the sweeter florals to shine through. Honeysuckle and water notes project well on my skin, finishing with a soft musk. The honeysuckle smells great but isn't exactly what I was seeking. The note is prominent, but soft. I was hoping it would be a little louder, more intense, and mimic the intensity of real honeysuckles blooming in early spring. With that said, Bouquet is a pleasant formulation of in-bloom white florals and green leaves. There are a couple of issues with this fragrance. First, the scent varies depending on where it's applied. On my clothes it remains extremely green and doesn't fully develop. However when I apply it to my arms or chest, it gives the initial green blast and then transitions to a lovely aroma composed of honeysuckle petals and soft musk. Second, longevity is disappointing. Bouquet becomes a skin scent after only a couple hours. I have to use caution when applying because overspraying causes the scent to become somewhat synthetic and very green. So, you lose out no matter what. To combat some of the greenery I sometimes layer this with a sweeter fragrance. For the price, I can't complain. I will likely use Bouquet as a layering scent a majority of the time. But I do find the fragrance soft and comforting when I just want to smell good, not exquisite. Nice springtime scent, maybe even fall due to the green notes.

There are so many reviews about this saying that there’s nothing so special with this perfume. Yes I agree to that, but sometimes we just like something or to do something even if it is not special. Like for example: a walk in the park, to eat something to fill our stomach, or even just stare outside the window without looking at something in particular. These are the things we like doing but there is definitely nothing so special about them. Vera Wang Bouquet, there’s nothing so special about it but I just like wearing it to smell its freshness and cleanliness, to calm my mind and make me relax. I wear this when I am in the mood not to smell very complex but just simple and fresh. I heard that this is meant to be a wedding scent, but I consider this more of an “office” or casual perfume which is very safe to wear and won’t annoy anyone sitting or standing next to you. We just have to accept that not everything in this world is special. And sometimes something doesn’t have to be so complex and unique before you like/love it. And that applies to perfumes too! P.S. but again like most of my perfumes (maybe it's really my skin!!!) it doesn't have any lasting power :(

11/24/18 For all you out there who love nothing but super feminine scents, this one is for you. It's all girl! I'm swooning in heaven. Imagine taking a shower in a garden - fresh, crisp, all floral, bright, effortless, clean... It's just everything I love. Vera Wang does that to me, and she didn't fail with Bouquet. Be careful with only using a few spritzes, and I'd recommend you spray it in the air and let it fall over you like a veil. Directly, onto the skin, I could see it morphing into old-lady-too-much scent. I think that would be the Moroccan cedarwood and musk's fault if you overdo it. A little goes a long way. For what it's worth, this stuff is an aphrodisiac - my husband grows antlers and buries his nose in my neck. It's our love potion - lol! Vera Wang Bouquet is a lighthearted, casual, citrussy floral. It reminds me of fragrances such as Bright Crystal by Versace: easy to wear, great for all weather circumstances but especially for spring and in it's simplicity and freshness, it appeals rather sexy. The kind of sexy which the woman wearing this wouldn't know she has, but the male truly feels attracted too. My thumbs are up. edit: Aah, now I remember! On my clothes, it is also quite like Elizabeth Ardens 5th Avenue. And Versace for Women.

This is just a nice, fresh, pleasant floral scent. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's not overly generic either. This is the kind of scent you could buy someone as a gift, because it's a completely inoffensive scent which has quite a positive feel to it. A nice ageless scent for all women.

I like it but it's nothing like the original..I adore the original..This is a fresh scent but I cannot really say there is anything distinctive or really special about it so if you are looking for that than this isn't it.

A nice, feminine floral. To me it smells like lily with a hint of rose, although neither of those notes are listed as being in it! Very pleasant but nothing unusual to make it stand out from the crowd.

The fragrance is nice, very suitable for day-time, spring and summer.. BUT, it does not last at all! As if I am spraying water on me.. smell dissappears in few minutes !

Green, fresh, citrusy and very long lasting... also has a huge crisp green sillage. Smells quite linear but amazing in its green juicy freshness.

I think I still love the original one the best..This one does not stay long on my skin..but it's a fresh, classy scent..and I love the bottle!

For the last year,i have been looking for perfumes that highlight honeysuckle. Bouquet has much honeysuckle. This perfume is equally well blended with cassis,orris root and narcissus. It is unique for having so much going on like powderiness with water notes,yellow floral,lavendar and cassis. Unique and pretty. I picture a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and a warm smile wearing this. It does seem appropriate for a sunny day in fall and winter.

After ten minutes when the sharp notes is gone I like this perfume. Unfurtunally it gave me a headace right away when i put it on. I normally never get headaces from perfumes but something in the opening notes triggered it, so although I like the drydown I will give my sample away. So, I wanted to give a warning to you out there that gets headaces easy, spray with causion the first time.

To me this is the best Vera Wang perfume. It is floral, but instead of flowers I smell greenery. Very pretty, "green" and refreshing! It has the same "vibe" as Acqua di Gioia. Easily unisex.

This bottle design is refined, classically simple and elegant. I really love this. I agree with the comments in the reviews that the bottle is much more impressive when you see this, for real, in person - rather than just viewing the photos of the bottle. The bottle is truly DIVINE! I love this design! With all that is going on in our world today, I'm purposely seeking a fragrance that has an up-lifting, fun, light hearted vibe. I need to find a fragrance that blends well with my chemistry and is something "Happy"! I'm also wanting something that is "Fresh" - "New". Something that I don't have previous memories attached to. I'm feeling like we have entered a new zone in human history with all that has just happened. I don't want to mourn the past, I want to begin anew! (Yes, of course I will still wear some of my favorite fragrances, but I really want to find something NEW -- something that marks a NEW Beginning after all that has happened with the Coronavirus/Covid 19 issues - and all of the political issues which have happened AFTER this started! Bouquet definitely registers as a Spring/Summer type fragrance. However, in the first 30 minutes -- there are some notes in this which go rather "headache-y" on me...perhaps it is the sharp citrus blending with the honeysuckle. This would be great on someone who is wanting to test the waters with a floral, but is more drawn to citrus notes. There is a strong lime aroma that I detect on my skin, this would be great for someone who enjoys a bright, sharp citrus lime type note blending with honeysuckle. I was pretty sure that this fragrance wasn't for me, at all... and was going down the path that It wasn't my type of fragrance. The first 30 minutes of this appears to disagree with my chemistry. However - an hour into this, and it is truly lovely - a pretty, clean floral scent. Now the subtle layer of musk appears. I'm having a much different experience of the fragrance notes now. This is now carmelizing with my skin much more. The headache-y notes are gone. This is much more romantic now. I could definitely see this as a bridal fragrance, soft - sweet - gentle - ladylike - romantic. You definitely want to try this one. Time your appointments, dates, etc... about 30 minutes to an hour after spraying this. The longer this wears on my skin - the more I like it. This fragrance is growing on me. I'll give it more time. ----------- This is one of the very first fragrances to completely sour on my skin in the final dry down. This is why it is so important to always try fragrances out individually, in addition to a first comparative spray with other fragrances. I didn't notice this souring when I was comparing this to other fragrances on my arm. But when worn alone, you can distinguish subtle chemical reactions in the skin, such as souring. ------------ This didn't agree with my personal chemistry, however - other people really like this fragrance and some are completely in love with it (as you can tell by the reviews). You won't know if this is your thing, till you try it. It may wear much better on you, than me! Good Luck!

Vera Wang Bouquet was a bridal shower gift from my beloved grandmother, for whom I was named. She knew I had loved Vera Wang Princess and that I wore Liz Claiborne's Claiborne for my first several dates with my husband. When she sought out advice at a local fragrance counter, one of the gentleman's suggestions was this scent. She and a dear family friend liked Bouquet the best of the offerings and thus I had the parfume for my wedding day. Given the information provided, Bouquet was a fairly inspired suggestion. My grandmother wanted me to smell cleanly floral and feminine on our wedding day rather than like a confection as I would have left to my own devices. She knew we both loved the smell of honeysuckle and that I wished I could smell like I had at the beginning of my relationship with my husband wearing Claiborne, which was also chosen for me. To be honest, I liked the scent upon first smell, fresh and sweet in quiet fashion with a good deal of green up front. My grandmother loved it on me immediately. However the scent's longevity even on that first day was disappointing. On the day I was wed, I applied Bouquet modestly but often throughout the preparation period. It was a nice note, but in the process of the day it was honestly forgettable. I used it exclusively on our honeymoon in hopes it would become a scent memory but it just refused to linger enough to make it as special as I wanted it to be for us. My husband really liked the lavender and musk he could smell about an hour after application, but it disappeared so quickly that it became less than an afterthought. In fact, despite generally liking Bouquet, I have half a bottle almost a decade later. I'll spray it on, enjoy that pretty honeysuckle and then sadly smell nothing at all for the rest of the day. It has layered nicely with a number of scents but it could have been so much more.

It's my understanding that Vera Wang fragrances are designed to be worn on special ocassions, specifically on your wedding day. Surprisingly however is the tendency from most people to wear them casually. Bouquet is one of those fragrances I would wear casually myself. I probably would not consider wearing this on my big day. I've always been that girl that dreamed of an Autumn wedding, even though the consensus of women choose their wedding day in the heat of Summer. This crisp, citrusy and clean floral may be the perfect choice for others, yet it does not appeal to me. I seem to detect a note that smells rather similar to a green apple in the opening, which contributes to this fragrance's Summery crispness. The juiciness of the overall composition makes the scent more playful than romantic. Personally I find Bouquet to be rather synthetic and generic. This fragrance and the Incanto line by Salvatore Ferragamo are rather similar in both scent and style. Another disappointment was the lasting strength which was relatively weak on my skin. The scent comes across as being quite thin and watery. Unfortunately I am not a fan of this fragrance.

I decided to blidly buy it via ebay because, V. Wang as a brand withdrew from the Greek market. I received it sealed but I am not happy about it. I had high expectations about it but I am quite disappointed. I do not get much from the notes and it is very short lived. (Max.2- 2 1/2 hours....). Funny enough when some time ago I was reading here about the perfumes of V. Wang I was curious about it and Sheer veil, too. Going through the notes I liked more and I thought I would enjoy the most, this one than Sheer veil....Quite surprising and unexpectedly the opposite did happen. I mostly enjoy Sheer veil (although I was quite reluctant with its notes at the beginning....) and I am quite (positively) surprised with its performance (smell, development, longevity, sillage) than this one....To be honest with you I did not have much luck neither with the classic first perfume of V. Wang when I had the chance to try it years ago (it did not really suit me and its duration was also very bad, very short lived....), so you never know with a perfume....it is a very subjective and unexpected "matter"....like a gambling game....

I like Bouquet on "bluebird days" (as we call them in Lake Tahoe) when it's crisp outside and there is snow on the ground, yet the sun is especially white and bright and there are but a few small clouds drifting leisurely across the vibrant, deep periwinkle sky. This fragrance sparkles when exposed to cold air. Bouquet initially smells exactly like Pantene Pro V hair products to me (the water note and underlying orris root, perhaps?) and then, hark! A sharp citrus note appears, not unlike Old English wood polishing oil. Bouquet soon settles into an easygoing, light floral/aquatic scent. In hot weather the Pantene and Old English smells are apparent on my skin and it's annoying. I'll have to try spraying this on my clothes as the scent does not last, nor project, on my skin. Update: My husband really likes this scent! I sprayed it on aftre a shower one night and he was SO into it. I will be wearing it more often ;) Hee, hee!

This is really a very good white floral. It needs a few minutes to settle, as it is a bit strong when you first spray it, but then it is like spring time in a bottle. White flowers, with green notes and the orris root in the background making it just that bit more real and less ethereal. The lavender relaxes the white flowers considerably. This is very well blended and I think the orris root, lavender and cassia were used to great effect here, especially as I normally hate white florals. This is a great fragrance for a spring bride.

This is a strong floral scent in my opninion. It's just a splash of floral with no exciting sophistication to the scent in the beginning. It might even give those more sensitive to scents headaches. But once it settles on my skin, the floral becomes softer and more delicate. The middle tones come out, and i can smell something that unsettles me, something bitter which i really dislike. It's only when the basenotes come through, That i really enjoy this perfume. too bad it doesn't have great lasting power though.

Of course, given my screen name, I HAD to try this. My impression is: a light, soft, fresh, ladylike, classic, well blended, springtime green floral, good for daytime use. I would recommend it more for the 18-25 age range and/or for weddings. This is a fragrance for someone who enjoys "Charlotte's" (the brunette character from "Sex in the City") style. The perfume's power is about 4 hours, not bad. No rude surprises in the drydown, either.

i just blindly bought this online. luckyly, i'm happy with it. to my nose this is a light fragrance, addictively sweet when drying down..just not oversweet..i think that's why i feel it addictive ..:) compared to the original vera wang, i find the original vera wang's opening scent is better.. but this one wins when it comes to the drying down part :)

It was fresh & beautiful but unfortunately did not last more than a few minutes, this was disappointing especially when it is meant to be a luxurious scent. I invested in the EDP 100ml/3.4fl.oz size, I'm happy I did not buy the body cream which in total would have cost me over GB£100. Real shame!!

bouquet opened with a huge blast of alcohol on me and then a strange musty off odour. this cant be right for a scent called bouquet? it must be my sample which i purchased from "my perfume samples" for next to nothing. so now i know why it was so cheap...

I bought a bottle today at Marshalls and I like it now I didn't before but where is the lasting power? It is a nice fragrance overall and I love the bottle and the way that it sprays out better quality sprayer than some cheaper fragrances

A nice classic light floral. I just love it for daytime wear. Of course, I love most of the Vera Wang fragrances. The body lotion is very nice too! It is fairly strong with just one spray and has decent staying power.

fresh... but...a bit watery (light).. bitter (floral).. sweet & sour (citrous).. and artificial (sharp)... reminds me of artificially flavored and sweetened orange juice...very nice bottle, though...

i thought i would love the perfume but truely not at all. smells like.. i dont know.. an expenisver hairspray that tryna smell better than a (cheap) hairspray or something

I have found this to be a wonderful fragrance for spring. It is light and the honeysuckle is delightful with a touch of other florals.

vera wang is a bit lazy when it comes o bottle designs. aside from princess and its flankers, every bottle looks the almost same.

Sharp, juicy, floral - green and warm smell. It's possible to say - classic and determined. For fans sound and fresh bouquets.

i got a sample of this and i love it!very2 sweet soft n warm :) i love to sniff my wrist whenever i wear this!

This is quite lovely and soft but the drydown reminded me of medicine.However, I will give it another try.
