Embrace French Lavender & Tuberose

Vanilla, cocoa and lavender florals. Very creamy scent and sweet, but the elegant cocoa grounds it so it doesn't turn gourmand. Slightly powdery, elegant and comforting. It also has a very "perfumey" note which I believe may come from the mandarin or tuberose, and the lavender blends in seamlessly and doesn't really stand out as the main protagonist. I love this for cozy, lazy days or when I want a scent that's not strong at all. Unfortunately I really wish this had better projection and longevity - it sits VERY close to skin and it lasts maybe, with some lotion or vaseline as a base, 1 hour max. But I like this and it's a very feminine, easy reach, safe for everything fragrance. Under the right weather, the tuberose comes forward and it creates such a delightful, gorgeous creamy sillage which I adore.

I recently rediscovered my 3-year-old sample of this, and I can't believe I'd tuck this away and forget about this. It smells like vanilla and cocoa and a hint of lavender. It smells like a warm hug from your significant other. This is what curling up under a fuzzy white duvet and being little spoon smells like. It's delectable and gentle and perfect and I want 80 bottles stat.

I had the body spray version. I smelled more vanilla/cocoa than lavender. Very comforting and sweet without being cloying- doesn't last long though unsurprisingly. Great BEDTIME scent. I would buy it again.

This is very subtle. Not as much lavender as I was hoping for. A sweet latte smell. Edit: overspraying this is a must but it’s only available in 30ml so I gotta save it for close encounters.

Absolutely lovely. Warm an cozy vanilla, lavender in the background, this is a perfect bed scent, it is soooo comforting!

My son purchased this fragrance for my birthday a couple of months ago. Today is my first time wearing this. Vera Wang Embrace French Lavender and Tuberose is the VERY definition of a SKIN SCENT. This fragrance will not leave a scent trail and it has very little longevity, at least, on my skin. If you only love bold, power houses, then this fragrance is NOT for you. The lavender comes through most of all, then small increments of vanilla and tuberose. Very feminine, very dainty, and ultra-appropriate for most occasions. I am enjoying this fragrance all on my own. It is my secret treasure for today. I can appreciate that it is here only for me-- offering calmness from the lavender and lowered irritability, thanks to the vanilla--all of which I definitely needed today. Due to the poor performance from start to finish, this is not a safe blind buy.

I had high hopes for this one, since tuberose and lavender are probably my two favorite notes, and because the Vera Wang Princess that my husband once gave me as a gift was long-lasting and had good sillage. I found this fragrance to be so light that I had to spray it several times just to get an idea of what it smelled like - which I though was very nice. The herbal scent of the lavender did a good job of blending and calming down the sweetness of the vanilla and tuberose. I won't buy again, though. So I'm still looking for that elusive lavender/tuberose combination - I'd like to try Fougere Emeraude Les Indemodables, if I could find it for a reasonable price.

For lovers of delicate creamy tuberose. Lavender is sweet and nice. Perfect office scent, bed sheets spray and inoffensive. Personally I need a stronger fragrance (like Splendida Tuberose, Bvlgari), so I will not get a full bottle, but it is well crafted and cheap. My sister stole it from my fragrance counter. 3/5

I get a strong hit of lavender and tuberose right at the very start, but I guess my skin chemistry gobbles it up quickly and then it’s mostly just the vanilla and cacao. Can’t say I noticed the mandarin and whilst it was very cosy and very nice, I have now given it to my mum who loves it.

A very soft, vanilla forward lavender. I don’t get any tuberose but I’m okay with that. A gentler more gourmand Mon Guerlain. Reminds me a lot of VS Pink’s Lavender. Nice and comforting.

Its about time they added this! I find it to be a very cozy wintertime vanilla, only problem is it it much too light

It smell like caramel, too sweet for me.

Incredibly weak, can barely smell it. Turns very easily and quickly too. With Iris&Periwinkle from the Embrace line, the smell was worth the poor performance IMO. This line suffers from weak, fragile juice, but the smells are lovely and it's relatively inexpensive. If it smells like hairspray/sunscreen, it's likely turned. Mine was made 2018 and turns 3 years old this March. I opened it in June 2020 and as of now it's a barely-there vaguely vanilla smell, and somewhat acrid. Get as fresh a bottle as possible!

Leaving aside the expectations created by the name, I find this a nice cocoa and vanilla scent, with tuberose swirling around. If you’re looking for lavender, move along. If you’re looking for a simple gourmand cocoa/vanilla scent that’s not too sweet or heavy, this is worth a try. I’m not a full-on gourmand fan myself but I kind of like this.

Like a lot of people commented, I only get vanilla and cocoa which is not at all what I expected from a perfume named "lavender & tuberose." I think they should change the names of these perfumes because I don't think people expect that a perfume named like this would have lavender and tuberose take the back seat. I thought I was going to get a lavender floral english garden scent... oh well. :(

Absolutely adore this perfume. Bar the very weak silage and longevity being close to null, this perfume is everything I ever wanted! Such a comforting, relaxing, feminine and kind scent. I would love for all my clothes and my house to smell like this😂 I do smell the lavender which I had hoped for ( blind buy) but given the perfume is still so weak, I wonder if there is a good alternative for this one? I already have YSL Libre ( which I think is way in your face- and only for days when I feel super strong) but I need something lavender and warm soft kind, to wear during my normal days.. anyone ideas?

Autumn test, skin, after shower. This is tuberose =sweet + white floralish + creamy, theres a tinge of a peppermint lolly,. Could def be the vanilla at work, I dont get loads of lavandre on my skin, it's verynice, almost a clean version of ralph Lauren tender romance, or valentino donna acqua, nots probably nothing alike but those come to mind, even purr by katy Perry clean sweet though purr is a bit more clean candy. I guess the aromatics lend a nuance to the sweet and floral aspects, and stop it becoming simply sweet.

So, I don't know about you, but I sometimes love hanging out in my teddy bears pajamas, a clean fluffy blanket, a big cup of hot drink, my cat near me, a messy bun, no makeup, and watching the rain outside, a book lying around and zero plans (for once!) for my day. It's a pure piece of heaven, and the earth turns without me, and that's also what this delicious bit of perfume smells like. Lavender ivory soap and vanilic freedom. Thanks you Natasha, simple things like this can save a life.

This was the first perfume I remember wanting. I think I got a sample of it from Walgreens when I was 13 and I immediately decided it was going to be my signature scent; it smelled so mature to me. I asked my mom for it and she bought me a bottle—I still have some of it 9 years later and it’s kind of rank now (just smells like rubbing alcohol) but I can’t bring myself to get rid of it. Funny though, I don’t really wear florals at all anymore

This is actually almost a dead ringer for Chanel Jersey - the dry vanilla is super similar and the lavender is identical. Iris is not listed in this one but I get that kind of sterile gauze type smell / texture out of both this and jersey. I like it!! Not my all time fav vanilla (RIP lavendes Trianon) but still really lovely and bound to be appreciated by any lavender lover.

The most comforting, smooth, delicately warm scent ever. Relaxing, airy and grounding at the same time, like a caring companion who is willing to give you your time and never judges you. I wear it at work in a caring profession just to project this vibe towards my clients.

I havent found any of promised smell on name of it, No tuberose and no lavender. Just powerful vanillic/cacao note that i washed out after 30 min. Thats my limit to strong cacao smell. I will give away 30 ml i bought.

on my second bottle. good for outings where you need to be socially acceptable and non offensive. on me it goes straight to smelling like cocoa puffs cereal. clean and fresh. spray with abandon.

this has been sitting in my drawer for about 3 years and i never reach for it. i tried it on the other day and had to change my shirt. i love sweet scents but the florals make it nauseating

I have this in a body spray, its actually quite lovely but no concentrated and evaporates quickly to nothing. I spray it on the sheets before bed w Tabu Rose.
