Embrace Green Tea & Pear Blossom

I have a 3 piece set that I got a Marshall's last year for a steal of a price. Using the body wash, moisturizer, and perfume together gives better traction and amps up the silage a little more than just using the perfume by itself. Even so, this is a light scent with close to the skin silage. Still, I love it. It's such a clean and refreshing scent great for warmer weather. Everything about this scent is pretty and smooth. From the delicate pear blossom (not the fruit) and green tea opening, that is apparent throughout the life of the fragrance, to the gentle notes of cedar that make an early appearance, to the sandalwood and musk base. The peony and orange blossom are barely detectable but are adding to the composition. The freesia, which I normally dislike in a fragrance because it is usually too sharp, is adding a little zest and soapiness. It is more apparent to me after the perfume becomes a total skin scent and helps maintain that just out of the shower feeling. The sandalwood gives this a creamy component and the musk a softness that's very light but not powdery or overwhelming. This is a really great floral tea scent that's different than the usual summer citrus fair. It's also cheaper than some of the more costly tea scents out there, yet it doesn't smell cheap or juvenile. It's a very well composed and blended scent that's great for the warmer months of the year. I actually like it over some of my more costly summer scents. If you like tea scents and see this, (usually at bargain basement prices), grab it. You won't be disappointed.

GREEN TEA & SHAMPOO. Opens with a soft fruity-floral burst of pear blossom & green tea supported by multi-faceted bergamot, that deepens into a floral heart with velvety, powdery, fruity, tannic & honeyed nuances, all resting on a floral support of woody musk base. Overall I get a tea & shampoo scent with fluffy, honeyed & musky florals. Average performance for a light summer wearing experience. Contrast to L'Eau D'Issey Issey Miyake: These are different, but there are similarities with the tea note. EGT&PB has a more forward sweet, powdery musk, while L'Eau D'Issey is more aquatic and outperforms. Contrast to Curious Britney Spears: These are different, but there are similarities in the honeyed, watery florals. Curious doesn't have the prominent tea note. Curious outperforms. Contrast to Chloe EDP Chloe: It's difficult to compare anything to Chloe EDP with its cult following, and these are different, however there is a similar velvety tea & shampoo vibe. Chloe EDP outperforms. Overall: Beautiful scent profile, with average performance for a light summer wearing experience. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Soo last summer on a very hot day I was in target in the beauty section I came across 4 perfume testers on display racks that stated "embrace" at first I just noticed the colors of the perfumes and realized they were different scents all in the same " Embrace collection" so I tested them all and this one was my favorite out of them all it is very refreshing smells exactly what it states "green tea and pear blossom" it smells very "zen" almost calming.. this is a great scent! perfect for spring and summer I have never smelled a scent like this before not even Elizabeth Arden's "Green Tea" compares to this! I've had 2 bottles soo far it is winter right now here in OH and I've noticed it does not last very long in the cold weather doesn't stay on the skin.. it's a skin scent and sinks into your skin leaving a beautiful refreshing aroma behind.. in warmer weather the scent really lingers even until the next day! anyways if you have not tried this or the others from the "embrace collection" go to target, kohl's, or Walmart!! Try e'm out! :)..

I absolutely love this! It is not very loud, but it is just beautifully blended, managing to bring forward citrus and green tea, yet you can still find both pretty much equally. The gentle floral background is light touch, and the whole thing I find just very elegant and beautifully uplifting! Ok, so I may need to drown myself in it for others to really pick it up, but given that I've found a source less than £10 for 30ml I'm stocking up - definitely worth it, completely safe blind buy!

Likely the most uplifting summer/spring scent i own. It opens up extremely alcoholic like some sort of aloe vera hand sanitizer and then settles into a comfy white floral and tea scent with some fresh citrus. It's not the most sophisticated scent ever but it is very comforting and graceful. It doesn't have much staying power on my skin but hearing from others the longevity can vary. If you can find it for less than 20 at discounters it's well worth it.

This is a very lovely tea & floral fragrance! A safe perfume! Perfect for someone just dipping their toes into the fragrance world! It definitely works for all ages, any woman (or man!) can wear this soft yet fresh fragrance. It feels airy and light. The shade of green is truly perfect because this is exactly what I would expect from a bottle and juice like this. Safe, reliable, predictable, and yet unique in it's green tea main note and pear blossom!

I find this very similar to Chanel Cristalle but 2/3 of the price. The pear blossom, peony, green tea and freesia are the most predominant and the musky dry down perfectly suitable and subtle for summer wear. The only disappointment is that it does not last. Save yourself a few bucks and go to KMART, yes KMART, and get the spray for under &10.00 and have at it. You can't apply too much because like a summer day, sadly, you blink and it is gone.

This is one of my favorite soft fruit/fresh floral I have. I LOVE pear so if that's not your vibe, or apple too, than this is probably not your girl. BUT I think the pear blossom is paired so freshly with the floral notes, it's not fruity like a berry smelling perfume.

I usually stay away from green scents but in this case it is lovely. Pear blossom and green tea are the scents throughout the top,middle and drydown. This is my favorite from the embrace collection!

This is one of my all time favorite spring/summer fragrances for me! How lovely and delicate without being too subtle to detect. I do smell lilac in this! I swear it!!!

Floral green tea- smells like a spa or nice hotel soap. Inoffensive, not particularly special but an easy reach for sure.

This is a lovely fragrance, light and summery. It opens more pear than tea, which I found a little disappointing; I really enjoy green tea scent. After a bit, the tea does become a bit stronger, but not by much, (it might actually be wishful thinking on my part). It cycles fairly quickly into florals--more peony to my nose than anything else. Finally it settles into a light musk and if there's sandalwood here, it's very faint. I don't get cedar at all. What's very disappointing is that it's gone in less than two hours. If I put my nose to my skin I can smell the musk, which is light and pleasant. As for projection, it's nearly non-existent, very much a skin scent. I was hoping for something that lasted longer than EA's Green Tea (which I love but it has serious longevity problems), but while this perfume lasts a *little* longer, it's not by much. This is suitably light and non-oppressive for hot weather (summertime is hot and hellishly humid where I live) and this scent doesn't turn heavy and cloying as many florals do. I like it very much, but for me, it doesn't have a strong enough green tea scent, which is why I initially bought it blindly. For me, it's more a simple floral, nice enough, very pleasant. I could wear this to work (it's light enough, I think) or while I'm out running errands, or something like going to doctor appointments. Very pleasant, pretty, but not what I really expected--it lacks the green tea which makes up half its name. As always, body chemistry plays a huge role in how scents work for you. Your experience may be completely different from mine. I will use up the bottle over the course of the summer (it won't last long, given I'll have to reapply frequently), but will not re-purchase.

Someone help me please! This perfume is almost identical to a higher end perfume from the 90's. Even the bottle's shape and the liquid inside are similar. I believe the one from the 90's has a small, round, silver label in the center and a nickle topper. In my carefree youth, I have forgotten the name to this elixir, and have spent the majority of my adult life chasing this dragon. So yes, I like this perfume. It harks back to that of yesteryear's divine potion. Its really hard to dislike, with its straight forward lines and simple, yet assertive, fragrant notes. Shy pear has found a voice with the assistance of Bergamot's dependable bitterness. Green tea's pungency is softened with a musky cedar shawl. Its just a mellow, clean, refreshing start to your day. Affordable enough to carry in your gym bag; gentle enough to wear professionally; effervescent enough to drench your skin in after a shower. Magnificently radiant, yes - but at a cost. The downsides are palpable. There is a significant attachment to alcohol, and it feels like a touch of forever before the waves of isopropyl dizziness dissipate. The astringency of this medicinal fog, makes the body spray good for nothing more than a linen refresher, as it is surely capable of annihilating any pathogenic creepers. The perfume, sadly, is not much better. By the dry down, all redemption is fleeting and shortly worn, leaving the wearer feeling as if they have witnessed some tragic brevity. Like a beautiful rare flower, dying long before it's intention.

I just received this as a gift and initially was very excited because it has fresh, green notes that I like. I am also able to pick them out quite distinctly. This fragrance immediately evoked a number of others that I already own: Omnia Crystalline and EA Green Tea Cucumber but most of all L'eau d'Issey. Unfortunately though, this lasts literally 2 minutes on me and then I smell nothing.I think I will try wearing it to an exercise class and see if that has any impact on projection and longevity. ETA: I'm really enjoying this scent and the longevity is much better than I had originally thought. This is fresh, calming and crisp. Very safe and office friendly too. Edit #2 I just passed this on to my DD. I'm paring down my collection a la Marie Kondo, realizing that I don't really need this and have others that are similar but more distinctive. Sad to see the bottle go though. I love its square, clean lines. Edit #3 My DD passed it back to me as she didn't like it so much on herself and honestly - I'm kind of glad to get it back, and not just for the bottle! So much for decluttering....

I tried this today for the first time, as I was walking past a tester. I’d seen it but never thought to try it as, the green tea aspect put me off it to be honest. I know it’s an incredibly popular range, however Elizabeth Ardens’ green tea perfumes were a high school favourite for many and simply weren’t and still aren’t my cup of tea (yep, see what I did there ;) ). I was pleasantly surprised with this. So fresh and mellow. Really comforting and energising. Rejuvenating. I must admit that while I have quite an eclectic taste in fragrance, I do tend to lean more towards deeper, spicier scents, so this really did catch me by surprise. if you are after something refreshing and easy to wear, I would recommend this. It’s not a statement fragrance or for evening wear, but I’d personally wear it to work, lunch, gym, out of the shower etc.

In a few words: this is the safest most guaranteed-to-please clean fragrance ever. I say this with nothing but love and a second bottle about to be emptied on my dresser. If you would be flattered to hear, “Wow! Your shampoo smells amazing!” then this perfume is for you. When everything feels uncertain in life, I can spray myself with this light green tinged elixir from Kohl’s and remember that some things can be fully known. Vera Wang’s Embrace has seen me through three long term breakups and three new bedrooms, and it always makes me feel the same. It is what it says on the tin: green tea and pear blossom. If that sounds good to you, pick this up. If only to have a scent that reminds you that you can make it through hard or ambiguous times and still smell like a bubble bath.

Quite nice, it's a fresh and clean floral. I didn't distinctly pick out the green tea because it's all blended well. The florals are light and lovely. It's a very modest, innocent kind of fragrance. It stays close to the skin and it's longevity is only a couple of hours. Performance could be better. I have a few from Vera Wang and she does this type of scent well, one you could wear on your wedding day. But they also often share a drawback in performance. Still, it's a nice safe fragrance for work or anywhere you just want to smell pretty and not make a statement. I'm guessing it's discontinued because Shoppers is pulling it from their shelves at around $50 for 30ml and putting it on the $20 shelf. It's a good time to try it if you've been interested.

I have given this to my mother for Christmas two years in a row. She is in assisted living, so it's best not to have expensive possessions around and this is the right price. She loves it, though it's so light she goes through it very fast. As a younger woman, she drenched herself in heavy, gasp-inducing woody-florals with a sort of metallic note (aldehyde?) like an olfactory dagger. Seriously, her kids all hated those. This one is lovely, but sadly short-lived, especially by her drenching standards. I'd definitely recommend this and others in the Vera Wang Embrace line for adolescent or college age girls, or women who don't want their scent to overwhelm coworkers!

This fragrance is really nice, I picked up the body spray version from Target and I have to say that I really like it. It's uncomplicated, fresh, vibrant, and mellow. These are the qualities I look for in a lot of scents or body sprays. I love to wear scents like this when I'm not quite sure what to wear. With spring right around the corner, I'm sure this will be a go to body spray for me well into the heart of summer. For the scent itself, I feel like it smells a lot like the lobby of a nice Hotel. Green, fresh, hints of tea and beautiful florals.
