Forever Vera

I love this one! Love Love. I have a wardrobe of perfume. This is one that I seem to use every day. It smells so beautiful on me & men love it. Over & over, men comment how nice I smell. My friend said it smelled good like conditioner. Now hair conditioners come in so many different fragrance nowadays but this is your generic back in the 80s conditioner that smelled so soft and good. I agree with my friend, it's a clean smell but not citrus clean, instead delicate powdery clean. Some folk want their perfume to be unique and not smell like some high quality shampoo or conditioner, not I. I really love good smells & this one makes me happy & relaxed. I tend to combine my perfumes. I find that if I spray LOOK also by Vera Wang on first and this one layered over it a little later the combination is exquisite. Same goes with Moschino Cheap & Chic. I spray that one first. Let it kick in. Then about 15 minutes a spray of this one.

I tried this on today at Kohls... immediately put it in my cart to purchase; which is something I never do! Since I can be very sensitive to perfumes because they usually give me migraines; I didn't get this sensation from this perfume. The initial spray is absolutely heavenely and the dry-down is wonderful too! I've only been wearing this for a few hours, I can already tell that the silliage isn't amazing and it stays close to the skin. It's a more elegant/ mature fragrance; NOT granny by any means- just very sweet and classy. I'm late 20s and would definately wear this as my daily signature fragrance. I love the powderiness of this. It reminds me of a more fruity Guerlian Colours of Love. Just a very pretty, done right perfume. So while at Kohl's online to pick up some kitchen supplies I ordered this because I had tested it at the store. The sandalwood is strong and it is powdery but not in an intrusive way. The floral notes are detectable after the initial spritz. It has a nice balance on me anyway. I got my bottle yesterday and I am in love with this now. I don't think the longevity is that long and the sillage is moderate. It reminds me of Yellow Diamond but with a more woody kick to it actually. I find this beautiful. The price is reasonable as well. 9/10

I sprayed this on and kept thinking, I have bought this perfume before, and returned it. Finally... the name has come to me: See by Chloe. In particular the See by Chloe Eau Fresh. It smells very much like that one. I like Forever Vera more - it is softer and has a nice refined classy style to it, like you are clean, done up, and with nice products. I can't pinpoint any specific notes on it except maybe floral and lightest wood, there is sort of the face cream vibe, but it smells good and stays well.

Got this perfume as a gift. I was alittle worried before I opened up this perfume as it was shown on this webpage ppl who like this perfume also like Madonna's Truth and Dare. On closer look, the bottle is really elegant and pretty, and the cap reminds me of a diamond. I love how the perfume slowly unveils itself. To be honest, the fragrant started out alittle strong, but it tapers off to a soft powdery feminine scent. It is really beyond my expectation and I really love this.

This reminds me of Burberry Body but a bit lighter, a bit sweeter, and a little more powdery. Looking at the notes, I now see why. I always like the combination of peach, musk, and sandalwood for some reason; it gives off a very comforting, very balanced, sensual scent on my skin. I would probably be more prone to wear this in the spring or summer and it is definitely a great scent for daytime or office wear. Very light, but still very pretty.

Awesome a really beautiful and sweet lilac perfume.I feel beautiful when i wear this perfume ,i love it.Great for daytime or nighttime use.Smells very feminine.I give this a definite 10/10.

It reminds me of Trussardi My Name as it has similar lilac floral heart notes, with a smoother, more musky and better dry down. It lasts a little longer on me than My Name, but still not very good longevity at only about 1 hour. Pretty, pleasant but not distinctive enough to be full bottle worthy in my opinion. Edit. I received a bottle of this for Christmas, so I've had a chance to wear it for a full day and in the hot weather. It's sort of grown on me, I now can appreciate the creaminess of the dry down, which to me is the best feature. It's a cool-hearted 'fume, classier than I recall from my first test. If you can get a good price on this it may be worth purchasing.

This is a pretty floral in a stunning bottle. If I had looked at the notes before buying it I may not have bought it because I'm not a fan of Gardenia and although I get a hint of it, the other notes balance it out so I can enjoy it. The lilac is more prominent. I find Vera Wang fragrances in general tend to stay close to the skin and don't have great longevity and this is no exception. This is a pretty daytime fragrance you can wear anywhere.

So it seems I should have a bottle of this. My friend has been wearing this non-stop and when I finally asked her what she wears she said it is this. I love it. It is like a cross of Chanel No.5 and Chanel No.19 to me. Powdery, woody, a little green and floral something. I am going to have to find a Kohl's and pick up a bottle. There isn't one in Manhattan I know. Maybe Long Island? That is where she lives.

This is a very light inoffensive fragrance. I mostly get the sandalwood note, but not in a heavy masculine way, it's subtle and feminine, quickly followed by gentle florals. It's a pretty scent, but there's nothing showstopping about it. I can't smell any of the coconut or peach at all! It's a safe kind of perfume, easy to turn to and easy to forget.

I wore this one today. I love the smell of lilacs and this one captures that without being to overpowering. The lasting power on this perfume is also very good. I give it a 9 out of 10.

This is the Lilac perfume I've been looking for. Lilacs are my favorite flower so this is a must have in my fragrance wardrobe.

I'd like to start by saying that I can just as easily fall in love with an affordable mainstream scent as I can for a niche, higher priced fragrance. Unfortunately, this scent by Vera Wang is decidedly "cheap" smelling. It has a wonderful dry, creamy scent, and if you are a user of Nivea body lotion, as I am, and an admirer of the fragrance of Nivea then you will absolutely know and like this smell. I've always liked the smell of Nivea body lotion, so I liked this scent as beach, home or sachet scent. As a primary scent it simply lacks the complexity and quality I gravitate toward.

I got this for $12.99 at Burlington after reading the rave reviews here and the composition of the fragrance is what I usually like. I'm a bit disappointed because it just smells like a generic floral on me. There is no powder, musk or wood on me after wearing it three times. It must be my body chemistry since most of the reviews are positive. It doesn't smell bad but not what I thought it would be. I'll save it for a summertime scent.

Generic musky sandalwood floral. No real character to it, but I could see this being pleasing in an office setting, at a wedding, etc. Very linear, and I can't make out many of the supposed individual notes. (Rum? I don't think so!). The good thing is, it's inexpensive, easy to find, and the bottle is reasonably cute. Overall, not for me.

I like this. A lot! I sprayed this on while I was shopping Kohl's (are they the only one that carries this?). I was surprised by how much I liked it. I'll probably go back to Kohl's tomorrow to buy Forever Vera. I'm not good at describing notes; I can only describe what I smell. At first it was quite fruity. I like fruity scents. Then after wearing it a while, it got slightly musky and powdery. But not overly so. I cannot tolerate heavy musk or powder. This is light in those 2 categories. I think I detect vanilla, along with the above scents I've already described. So far, Forever Vera seems to be lasting a long time. I will not buy fragrances that don't last. They are a waste of my money. This has been on me several hours and it doesn't seem like it's fading at all. Will someone smell it when they walk into the room? No. (And I wouldn't want them to). But close up, you can definitely smell this perfume. Not too heavy; not too light. Seems pretty perfect, all around. I've been searching for my signature scent for years. I'm not sure yet, but this might be the one!

I am an older lady. I was fortunate to get a whiff this weekend and spray on me. I prefer this to her recent princesses collections- I'm more like the queen:) So definitely for me :) It is floral and soft. I did not get gardenia. I don't get coconut either. It is not sweet and it is not fruity. It did last about a couple of hours when sprayed on my neck. Could smell swirling around me but nobody stopped me or followed me or commented that tells you that silliage is not fantastic. I think the bottle is a beautiful classic design. And yes, it's definitely a lovely wearable bride fragrance. However the model's sexy picture with the come hither look (or have been there look)does not grab me as the best representation of the fragrance.Seriously considering buying this.

I picked this up on clearance at SDM yesterday and am enjoying getting to know it. On me, it is a sweet mix of lilac, gardenia, coconut and tonka. I am not able to smell any sandalwood and don't find it powdery but rather creamy. I think this creaminess is from the combination of coconut, gardenia and tonka. This was a blind buy at the recommendation of the SA and isn't something I would usually pick for myself. It is a soft, pretty floral in a gorgeous bottle. So far, I like it :) Edit 05/04/19 17:25 This fragrance really blooms and is truly lovely when it develops on skin. I find several of the facets are missing if I just wear it on clothing. The silage is low to moderate on me. It's a fresh, floral scent that is great for spring and summer daytime wear.

I bought this today while shopping kn Kohl's. I don't normally care for designer perfumes, but tried this and was pleasantly surprised. It smelled like a grown up perfume, despite it's softness. It did not have that sugary, cotton candy smell so prevalent in perfumes popular with younger women. I impulsively purchased it. The bottle is beautiful. It doesn't seem to be long lasting and doesn't have much sillage. Therefore, in my mind it isn't the quality of the Estee Lauder scents I normally wear. This is probably not something I would purchase again at this price. My Youth Dew is higher quality scent for much less money. I'll certainly use this and enjoy it, though.
