Lovestruck

I blind bought this along with two other Vera Wang perfumes. I found 3.4 oz bottles for a great price, so I took a chance on them for fun. I have to add, I literally only got this one because someone said it reminded them of VS Dream Angels Heavenly, which I used to have and loved. So, it doesn't really smell like Heavenly. If I scrunch my nose and really use my imagination, I could see how it might be slightly similar. But this is not nearly as warm or sweet or powdery. That being said, I actually really do like Lovestruck, this was a good blind buy for me. (I was shocked at how big the box was, and then I opened it up to see that the cap is bigger than the actual bottle! And yes, it is obscene. I took it off lol, it will continue to live in the box.) Now back to the perfume itself: floral, woodsy, the perfect amount of musk. The fruity notes are in your face right at the beginning, but they calm down pretty quickly, which is perfectly fine with me. I can't say I own too many perfumes that have such a strong woodsy note, but I like it here. It gives this scent a maturity, it's definitely for a grown woman and not a teen. Feminine and classy, yet a little sexy and romantic. Honestly, it smells expensive to me. If I was going on a romantic trip to Italy, this is what I would wear. Update: I've absolutely fallen in love with this perfume!! It is just a gorgeous scent, especially in warm weather. My only issue is that my skin seems to just eat this up! When I first started wearing it I noticed it a lot more, so I'm not sure if I'm just going nose-blind to it now that I've had it for a little while... I dont wear it every day, probably every few days though. I spray quite a lot (wrists, elbows, neck, chest, hair) and it still is just a skin scent for the most part. Albeit a beautiful, floral, musky skin scent, but still. I put a BBW lotion on my hands and I smell that more than I'm smelling this perfume. Kind of a bummer, but I still love it!! 2nd update: still love it! Lol, but I actually decided to layer this with an OG Dream Angel's Heavenly, (which has possibly started to turn slightly, not sure. Its super cardamom/ivy heavy though. Maybe just because its old) and it smells amazing!! Just another note to add (: cheers!

Autumn is just beginning and I want to feel pretty and captivating. So which scent do I reach for. This one of course. I honestly don't understand how people are saying this is generic and lacks uniqueness. I have never smelled anything like this in my life. I can easily identify this one on people. Its fruity and aquatic but in a dewy dark way, well... as dark and as fruity as aquatic can be. The best guava perfume ever. This perfume reminds me of a young woman who wants to be intimate but to remain free and spontaneous and unobtainable all the while. I wore this all of last autumn and it is heart warming and comforting, yet intoxicatingly, deliciously mouth-watering too. It is very gourmand to me. Those deep dewy juicy notes just work for me. Yes for this is a very yummy fragrance, seems to me to be perfect for intimacy. Men love this one and go wild for it if you spray it on your neck. I only wish the silage were strong and powering. I give it an 8 out of 10 for that reason. I will always have this in my collection. It is a unique fruity fragrance and it stands apart from the rest.

I dont understand why there are so many negitive reviews on this perfume?! Words cannot describe how much I adore this scent. Its so refreshing and light, I try my best to save it up for special occations because it is very expensive, but I cant help myself. I cant resist the scent, its so floral and sweet, very sexy, perfect for the ages of 15-21. It lasts around 3-4 hours for me. The only factors that I dislike about this perfume is the price which even with the sales that come and go, I believe its not priced right. Also, as much as I adore the bottle, it isnt very travel friendly, in fear of the cap breaking or the bottle shatter in my bag, I decide not to take this perfume with me for touch ups when im on the go. Lastly, I felt a little deceived when found out how little the 30ml bottle was, compared to how HUUGE the box it came in. Over all I would re-purchase this perfume again, but only if there was a huge reduction on the price. The only feature I would change about this scent would the strength of the perfume, I WISH it lasted LONGER!

Lovestruck is what I wished Princess could be for me. To my nose, the most dominant notes are the fruit (what I imagine is the guava), and then it mellows into a soft and clean, almost creamy floral, which is funny, since there are no cake / vanilla type notes, so this must be a trick of my own personal body chemistry with the musk. By comparison, Princess is much sweeter, and 'louder,' with a very pronounced food note of chocolate and heady amber. Unfortunately, I must be one of the people who experiences no lasting power or sillage with this fragrance. It stays, but becomes so light I literally have to hold my wrist up to my face to detect it. However, I think that suits the idea of being "lovestruck" to me; so overcome with your feeling, you have to withdraw into yourself as you process the emotion, keeping it secret for a little while. I don't care at all for the packaging, but I like the stuff inside the bottle so much, it doesn't really matter.

First spray out of the bottle, I am not impress at first, for a blind buy. The alcohol are strong at first. After 30 second, love struck start to evolve to something juicy guava, mild mandarin and sweet plump scents. Lotus is layer underneath the top note and lotus tune down the sweetness. You can smell something unique, should be angelica play a big roles to brighten the perfume. The sweetness in this gem is wonderful and comfortable. I do not have something like this in my collection. Especially a Guava, angelica, lotus, tuberose perfume. I'm not a fan of fruity flora fragrance and find hard to fell in love, this is fruity rather than a flora to me. The longevity and projectivity is moderate. The scent is definitely unique to me. Easy to wear perfume. I love it.

Just bought it. This was a blind buy, even though I checked the notes in Fragrantica before buying. I love this so much I am going to go back and buy the other bottle. I'm having a tuberose fling this season. I was really unsure about the guava note, but it's not jarring and the fleshy zing to me was only noticeable immediately after spritzing and dabbing (inside elbows) and doesn't linger. The bottle is super small, which I think is great. If I could have it my way all perfume (EDT/EDP) bottles would be smaller and less expensive! It does have a little powder in it, but you have to dig for it. (Does not smell like any grandma I know.) I really don't like powdery perfumes and I love this one, soo....

I don't understand why anyone would dislike this. It's lightly fruity, soft, fresh and feminine. Perfect for girls and young carefree women. The Guava definitely stands out the most but it's pleasent and whimsical. It's not super sophisticated and is no Chanel No. 5 however it's not trying to be. This fragrance isn't to be taken too seriously. It isn't super strong and you may need to use a few spritzes but it's nice and simple and elegant for a younger demographic. It would make a perfect Valentine's Day gift as well as an anniversary present as it's a very romantic fragrance. It's darling and the bottle is gorgeous too!

Absolutely love this perfume despite the initial impression looking at the bottle alone i presumed it to be light and airy, it is in fact a rather deep and lingering scent, it smells of berries and dewy fruits with a slight woody undertone which adds to deepen the fragrance this adds a burning warm feel to the fragrance, it is definately a cosy, warm and inviting fragrance due to the dewy mellow fruits blended with an undertone of wood notes, it reminds me of sitting infront of a fire with a glass of wine in winter time. I have just ordered my second 100 ML bottle of ebay for £31.95 a bargain!

I love every part of this perfume except the longevity and sillage. It doesn't last more than an hour on me, unfortunately. I feel like the bottle is a kind of tacky, but many find it beautiful. I don't really care either way. On me this is pretty linear. A cool, aquatic floral. It almkst smells like a cold cup of water with an edible water lily in it. This is great for summer, for romantic dates, or for anything casual. Definitely a day scent to me, this wouldn't survive at night. If you like low-key floral awuatics, try this. You won't be disappointed.

Lovestruck is one of the first blindbuy I made and I ended up liking it very much. I really love the bottle. The fragrance itself is very powdery & musky. When I wear this perfume, I got this creamy musky floral cloud and feel literally enrobe with the scent. I like to wear it when I go to bed. It melt perfectly with my skin. Its warm, soft & cosy. Love the fragrance, love the bottle. It is very unique. I never smelled anything like it before. Very easy to wear. A beautiful floral fragrance. So sad the longevity is not enormous. Will repurchase for sure.

Yes! Horrible staying power! I like this for when I wish to wear my Flowerbomb that can be more than certain days can handle. Why wear a serious fragrance to meet for coffee or brunch? Not everyone understands what it is like to be a fragrance junkie like some of us;) That being said, I like this as a day scent. Or if I am in the mood to keep spraying, and spraying, and spraying all day like a true fragrance junkie. And who wouldn't love this bottle on their shelf?

I don't know why this perfume is getting so many bad reviews! Personally, I'm in love with Lovestruck! I think it smells amazing! Most of you have said it doesn't last long but it lasted most of the day on me. I put it on around 9 am and reapplied it at 9 pm, which I didn't even really need to but I just felt like it cuz I was going out! It does smell very clean but I think it's a very nice clean!

This is a very understated perfume it’s lovely and the price point is excellent it’s very girly and floaty and the floral notes are not over powering it’s a daytime and evening fragrance that fits well with any occasion it reminds me of first love and innocence my only complaint is that it doesn’t last long about 1 hour if your lucky if it lasted longer I’m sure it would be more popular

oh my goodness, vera wang has out done herself with this fragrance WOW! so sweet & fruity yet not your generic fruity smell it smells so fun & girly & the longevity isnt bad at all for a fruity, tropical fragrance. stays for around 4 hours. very prettyy & sweet! cant stop sniffing my wrist! the video advertisement describes the scent perfectly! WONDERFUL. buy it ! 9/10

My very best friend got me the large bottle of this for Christmas. I had already owened be jeweled by vera so this was my 2nd foray with vera and I really am growing to like this one. The scent smells so sweet at times and I can smell a hint of spice and musk. I find I love it before bed on just skin. Not on clothes. Doesn't overly power the nose. I enjoy this one!

Love love love ~ I am strucked!! I am normally a serious woody orential prefume wearer but this one has something about it. Light breezy yet alluring. . . Don't let it fool you thinking it's one of those innocent floral, it might seem that way but let it settle and the subtal wood and musk come out to play. I adore this fragrance and it's easy on the eye too.

I thought this perfume smelled really nice but simply too sweet for me, but I recieved it as a gift anyway because I mentioneed how I adore the bottle. At My delight, the scent starts light, but turns dark, which I love. It's a favorite for sure. The ony problem is that that it doesn't last long. I have to carry a rollerball.

UK lovers of this scent. It is now on special in savers £19.99 for 100ml! I am now onto my third bottle of this beautiful juice, dewy and aquatic tropical fruit smell. Well worth the money for how cheap it is, though it is definitely a skin scent! It is mystical and wispy and romantic feeling. Think butterflies in your tummy!

I've got a tester sprayed on my hand. It's rather nice actually. The wood and musk balance out the fruitiness and stop it being over body-splash like. It's got an element of creaminess to it aswell. This is probably what I'd like my hair to smell like, very bury-your-face-in-it type of scent. Boys are sure to like it!

I love this perfume and recently got another bottle for christmas. There’s just something so addictive about this scent. I get pure orange and pear which is interesting because looking at the notes there’s no pear in the fragrance. But if you love citrus, fruity scents this is definitely the one for you.

I love the bottle. The top is dramatic with its maroon flower bouquet and organza bow. The scent is soft, clean, a little fruity and sweet, beautifully floral. It's light, delicate and very feminine. It stays close to the skin after it settles. I would definitely re-buy when I finish my current bottle.

Maje sure you get a full size bottle. I have a 3.4oz and it looks way more beautiful than the picture here, which looks ridiculous w that enormous cap. Plus, you'll need it. It's one of my favorites but I use it like a body spray

this is definitely a good first perfume choice for a teenager! i used to love this when i first got it at the age of 15, i still love it and i'm 26 now. it's very sweet and musky, but also not too much

I FINALLY got my hands on Lovestruck! 30 bucks for the 3.4oz @ Marshalls! Score! The lasting power is truly unfortunate, but hey, it's so dang delicious! Truly a favorite of mine! Thank you Vera! ; )

EDIT: 29-02-2020 I feel I need to add something here, because something makes this a game-changer. Sweat. SWEAT with this perfume on, my friends, and you will smell GLORIOUS. I'm not even kidding. I wear this to the gym to reduce my stink-factor, and after a run on the treadmill, I smell my forearms (a relatively safe place to smell after knowing you're drenched in sweat) - and it's amazing. You get a deep, intoxicating floral musk. I *assume* the prettiness is from the lotus flower and tuberose; the intoxication is from the musk, and the deeper turn is from the sandalwood. Conclusion: Wear this in hot weather and / or at the gym. Thank me later. Amended Kitty rating: 7.5/10. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not sure on this one. I quite like the smell out of the bottle and *as* it comes out the bottle, but as soon as it hits my skin, it changes to a flat, bland smell. The middle notes aren't quite so pleasant - another slightly metallic and synthetic smell (but not nearly as bad as "Donna Karan Be Delicious Fresh Blossom"). The base, however, is divine! So creamy and intoxicating! Longevity isn't great, though. I'm also not going to lie - I kinda having fun with the bottle. It's just girly, goofy, and a bit enchanting. Love the colours, too. Overall, scent is kinda disappointing (I want the really girly, fruity aspect), but I'll use up my bottle for that base note period. *** Kitty rating: 6.5/10.

I LOVE the angelica note in this perfume. It's the green, grassy, citrus(more of a sharp green citrus, not a juicy fruit citrus) note of angelica that sets this perfume apart from all the other sweet perfumes out there. Wrapped underneath the angelica is the guava, which adds a great deal of sweetness. The sweetness from guava is pretty much the heart of this perfume. The flowers are only barely present. Good thing that there is still a little bit of the angelica in the heart that cuts through the would've-been cloying sweetness. The woodsy and musky notes in the base wrap tightly from underneath, gives the entire perfume a warm, sexy feel. The warm base also makes it more of a winter scent rather than a summer tropical scent. I don't like wearing this during hot weathers since the sweetness can get overwhelming. On my skin, this perfume tends to get sweeter overtime as the angelica note wears off. But the notes are more stable on clothes. I love how this smells on my leather jacket. It makes the leather smell fresh and luxurious. :D Overall, I think this is a good perfume. It's unique in a way that it's freshly green and warm toasty at the same time. It's sweet with a little bit of sophistication, but still very young and lively. Longevity is roughly 5 hours, but only 2 for the angelica...The elaborate design of the bottle and cap, even though irrelevant, is very pretty. :D

Ahhh... Lovestruck, I have very fond memories with you. I received a full 3.4 oz bottle from my loving boyfriend back when we were in High School together. Memories in a bottle! (Along with Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck and VS Love spell) This one got me quite in the mood for romance! It's a simple, soft, musky floral scent with a touch of sweetness from the guava. I never got much of the mandarin orange note, and if I did, it was very fleeting. I also get zero tuberose in this fragrance. The main stars in this Vera Wang creation are strictly the guava and lotus, on a bed of gorgeous soft musk and woods. It's perfect for every day wear, and I gravitate towards this demure beauty in the spring and summer months. (and possibly even early fall) However, the only downside is it's so light, even with 5+ sprays you'll have to reapply every so often. (2-3 hours max) Vera Wang's perfumes are always inspired by love and romance, and this one is no exception! Lovely creamy scent with a subtle skin musk. If you're just starting your perfume journey, and prefer light fruity floral scents with a noticeable muskiness, then give this one a try! Plus, the bottle is to die for!! It looks beautiful sitting on my vanity. <3 Scent: 7/10 Longevity: Roughly 3 hours on me Sillage: Soft, very soft.

I bought my 3.4 oz bottle at TJ Maxx for $20. It was a blind buy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the scent. It's sweet, but not sickening, and musky, but not overwhelming or heavy. As someone else stated, it's sophisticated enough for a twenty-something-year-old without feeling silly. It's a perfect "safe sexy" scent. I definitely smell the guava, musk, and lotus. I swear I smell plum, too, but it is not listed in the notes. It melts with my body chemistry nicely and turns into a slightly creamy, delicious smell. It reminds me of a more grown-up version of Dark Kiss from Bath and body Works, combined with an old Victoria's Secret Pink "Clean" body wash I used to have. I see this as a potential every day scent. It's a casual scent that could be "dressed up" so to speak. It wears nicely into the nighttime. I feel it would be a beautiful scent for fall and winter especially. I find it lasts about 3 hours on my skin, which is on the low end of moderate, and it sits rather close to the skin without a trail. My boyfriend likes this scent! He loves sweet scents.

Most certainly an underrated perfume. The bottle design is super eye catching and it was the primary reason why I bothered testing it out in the first place. The first notes hit me with a pleasant lotus and mandarin scent, and that was the reason why this beautiful thing went home with me. With more usage and testing, Lovestruck didn't disappoint me at all, and I was pleased with the longevity and silage of this fragrance. I actually noticed that Vera Wang's fragrances last best on my dry skin, so if you have the same problem, this might be something you might want to look into. The one and only unpleasant thing I've experienced with this otherwise beautiful fragrance is that you can only use that much of it. I did the mistake of going for too many sprays, and I ended up being hit with an overbearing musky base that doesn't seem to work well with my skin chemistry. Therefore, a little goes a long way. Even though I'm one of those people who loves the pretty cute perfume design, I do have a feel it may look off-putting to some, which is why this perfume is underrated.

I got lovestruck as a gift, and in all honestly it's not something i would have picked out. The bottle actually broke when i wrestled it out of it's packaging two christmas's ago. It was extremely difficult to remove and I ended up breaking the sprayer so now the bottle leaks. In all fairness I could have been more gentle, but come on' now. That has never happened to me before with anything...so be careful everyone. This fragrance smells like a tropical floral musk. The guava is so typical vera, she just loves it. I see in a lot of her princess perfumes as well. The fragrance is really linear, from first spray I get a clean smelling guava scent (probably helped out by the lotus to make it clean) the there's the musk that carries that clean fruity floral musk from start to end. Overall my personal view on this is that it kind of bores me, I mean it's so easy to wear so I put it on for work without thinking twice. I mean there is nothing wrong with simple perfumes, but this just isn't "my" kind of simple.

This fragrance was gifted to me today, and it's not bad. To be honest, I feel this scent is a bit young for a 28 year old, but it was a gift from a friend. You definitely get the hit of guava right away, and then I get a smooth transition to floral and a light bit of musk. I have to be honest, I hate the cap. I can get around the ridiculous logo on the bottle, but that cap... It looks like something a 14 or 15 year old would keep in their locker, no offense to teens. I took a lid from an old empty bottle, and thankfully, it fits well so I've remedied that issue I have with it. This scent is something I'd wear in the spring and summer, it's decent, but nothing to write home about. I probably won't purchase this in the future, but I do like it as a gift. I think it's well suited to the under 25 crowd, but I'll still wear it.

This is a light, musky, powdery, floral scent. Doesn't make me think of being Lovestruck, it doesn't have that pow factor to it. It's a very pleasant easy to wear fragrance. The opening starts off with a light musky/citrusy wave, then the dry down doesn't stray too far away from that light musky scent only it gets more woodsy. The key word for this fragrance is "light". It is not a heavy scent by no means, the longevity of this is pretty good, I can still smell it on my clothes at the end of the day. It does have a powdery quality to it, but is still nice without being too "grandma-ish". To me, it's just a nice soft floral fragrance, nothing overly special about it. The bottle is gorgeous and probably outdoes the fragrance really.

I was surprised by how much I liked this fragrance and at how long lasting its turned out to be, perhaps that's because I wasn't expecting much as VW fragrances I got my nose on in the past were lacklustre low performers to me. This scent is definitely an excellent spring/ summer pick- the guava and lotus opening is fresh and gorgeous, and when the tuberose note set in... I was sold on it. I'm surprised peony wasn't listed as a heart note, I'm definitely getting a pink floral note. The dry down is pretty non-descript- musk, woods and pink florals. If summer wasn't already over, I'd have put this on my 'think about it' fragrance list.

This is truly unusual - guava and tuberose! I don't notice even an hint of angelica, but maybe it's just blended in too well. I bought this scent for my daughter because she fell for the adorable bottle, but I find myself wearing it often for a quick spritz of prettiness. This is one of those fragrances that so many people compliment, even when I think it's long-gone. I categorize Love Struck in the section with my easier-to-wear/all-purpose perfumes. (Yes, I categorize my fragrances. Is that weird?) Others in the category are Philosophy Love Sweet Love & Loveswept, Fresh Pink Jasmine, Aqua Allegorias, Bobbi Brown Beach.

A beautiful, romantic, sweet, floral, musky, woodsy scent. It’s sweet, but not too sweet with the mixture of fruity and floral notes. The musk and woodsy notes really stand out to me as well as a lovely sweet scent. I do pick up a slightly tropical scent from the guava and mandarin orange, but it’s subtle and works well in this fragrance.I personally love this for the colder months of fall, winter, and early spring. Lovestruck is a wonderful name for this. I get great performance with Lovestruck. The scent lasts all day on me. The projection is nice too, it radiates out a couple/few feet from me.

I've had this in a rollerball for years. I think I'd intended to purchase the full size since it's super pretty, but just forgot. I rediscovered this last night when my husband complimented me. It starts off very bright and floral, like cupcakes, tuberose, and something slightly plummy. In a few minutes, I can smell vanilla and musk, and something slightly like Elmer's glue or latex with musk. Hours later, I can smell some red berries develop on me, and the next morning, it still smelled like a delicate tuberose cupcake on musk. It's kind of like Vera Wang Princess, but slightly more grown-up.

It smells like a candied floral. Guava, lotus and angelica (I think those are the notes that I smell the most). I used to find it somewhat powdery. Now it seems mostly floral/fruity. In addition: I started wearing perfume again a few years ago (used to get headaches) This was gifted to me. I found it quite strong and sweet which seems funny to me now because it seems like a mid/light scent. Others around me would comment on it being floral but I've always found it to be sweet & fruity. This used to be a favorite of mine but I've come to love others and lovestruck has moved down to like/love.

I got a sample of this years ago and always liked it. It's a musky, sweet perfume that is slightly floral and woody. There is a slight fruitiness in the opening, but that quickly subsides, and you're left with an intoxicating sort of smoky, sweet musk. It's an affordable perfume and mildly synthetic (musk is always a synthetic note in perfumery). I like it and consider it to be a date night appropriate scent. It's not super loud. I think it's a nonchalant, sexy, cool girl scent. She's not even trying, but she's can't help but turn a few heads. An underrated scent for sure.

This is a very different fruity perfume. This perfume is juicy guava, citrusy, fresh and green. It has a note of green (just a little) and i think it comes from the angelica. You can definitively smell the guava and the mandarin orange. So if you like those notes, then you will probably like this perfume. This perfume has a moderate sillage the firsts hours, then it becomes intimate. It does not last that long. You have to oversprayed it and use it on clothes. I don't get anything musky. This is not a powdery perfume. This is a juicy, zesty green fruity perfume.

I was attracted by the bottle, you have to admit, it's absolutely GORGEOUS! The fragrance itself it great, it's sweet but not syrupy sweet. The sweetness is sorta balanced by the musk in it. I've wanted this perfume for a long time, and I finally have it. I have no regret buying it, but I wish it lasted longer. This lasts no more than 4 hours. Where or when I would wear it: I would wear this perfume for more casual times, like meeting with friends for a coffee, or chilling next to a fireplace with your boyfriend - it's a warm scent, very light, soft romantic.

It has a long lasting power on me...way too long, I think. I like the guava scent which makes the perfume sweet and interesting. Then here comes the tuberose (I can't merely smell the lotus, that's sad). tuberose is fine, and it reminds me of something very asian (and a bit seductive), which is fine for me since I live in Asia. but the most confusing point is, for me, that the dry down is way too warm to be worn in tropical asia. I don't know I should wear it in the summer or in the winter :( I think I'll give it a try when days are getting cooler.

I received the rollerball version of this as a stocking stuffer. I'm always nervous when smelling a perfume I know nothing about for the first time, especially one that someone else has picked out for me.... Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised by Love Struck although not overly impressed. It's something I'll apply it anytime I need a little pick me up. The fresh and young quality makes it nice for summer and it gives me visuals of relaxing in a pool side garden. The bottle is gorgeous and I'd consider purchasing the full size just to have it.
