Princess Noir

I only got this fragrance yesterday because the Priceline store near me is having a sale of their fragrances and noticed a new fragrance from the princess line and I got this for only 35 Aus dolllars,I have smelt this and I have t say I really like this,it’s a warm gourmand scent and it comes across s bit vanilla and licorice and I find this to go well with the noir theme,it’s definitely got a bit of a dark theme going on but it’s more like a dark but still girly fragrance which I like,Noir also reminds me a bit of fragrances like the body shop black musk which has similar notes but not completely the same and I do get some Angel vibes though I think noir is better than Angel because there are some notes in Angel I do not like,overall I think Princess Noir is one of the nicer fragrances to come out of the princess line since the original and if you are a fan fragrances like black musk or even black opium then you should give this one a try. Edit: i am wearing this now and I also noticed some floral notes coming through and I am really liking this perfume because it’s got a combination of a dark gourmand and some lovely florals,I definitely consider this now as one of my favourite fragrances from Vera Wang.

This is lovely. It's such a cosy fragrance to wear. The initial spray is not ground-breaking, but it's nice - very nice. After about 10 minutes it settles into a warm, mouth-watering fruity chocolate loveliness. I was a little concerned because someone here said it smells like a Christmas chocolate orange! I can see why they said that but I don't get masses of orange in this - fruity, yes, but probably more pear and black currant coming through and just a hint of orange. I find myself breathing deeply when wearing this. The fragrance is so deliciously comforting. I've been hungry all day so maybe that is not such a good thing. It's a warm, rounded scent with a luxurious softness to it, but at the same time, it still has enough freshness in it to be able to wear it in the heat of Summer. This is an all-year-round scent. The projection is better than the Princess original, as is the longevity - I like this. It's not unique, and it's not going to make your jaw drop, but it's good. I like it. I like it a lot!

Absolutely love this!! It’s a sultry sweet sexy fragrance! It’s stunning and I can’t believe the price! Is it for everyone? No? It’s not your typical fruity floral. It has depth and interest that makes it intriguing! I’m not sure if it’s a safe blind buy. I love this kind of fragrance but I’m not sure if everyone has the same taste. You have to have some spunk for this. But if you can pull off a darker sultry scent, this is absolutely gorgeous! It’s hard to find, but I love it so much I ordered another one! Edit-10/17 I sprayed this again tonight and I don’t think my original review really portrays just how gorgeous this little cheapie is! It’s sweet in a darker musky way! It’s so sexy and feminine! It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites for the cooler weather!

I tried this fragrance out after I smelled it at my local CVS. It smelled so good that took it home. It also smelled so good after it set on my skin and very long lasting for it not being an EU de parfum. To me it can be a sexy date night fragrance or night on the town. I will for sure be repurchasing this fragrance.

i tried this in the shop and i like it better than original princess but it's too similar to og princess to justify owning a bottle of this and og princess. better get through the og princess bottle!!!

Tested it at Kohls a while back and really liked it. Sweet, for sure, the cacao and touch of patch make it yummy and a little bit more interesting. Wasn’t anything I wanted to spend $55 for 1oz, but I put it on my mental list to check around for since Vera Wangs usually make it to the discount stores. Found it today for $15 at Burlington, which it is well worth! Wearing it right now, will update on longevity. From what I remember when testing it before, it wasn’t *too* bad, a few hours at least and that’s pretty decent on my skin... Sillage is fairly soft, it is a “come closer” fragrance. I could see both teens as well as adults liking this one, it’s sweet but intriguing enough for a grown up everyday type scent. I work with kids and can see myself using this a lot... ETA: longevity is ok but not great. It does turn into a skin scent after just a few hours on me. My skin devours fragrance, so it may last much longer for you. This will be lovely to wear for work since I usually coach for 3-5hrs and then I can put on a different fragrance!

Oh this one is niiice! Very different to the other princesses I've tested (original, hippie, glam, rock, princess power), and this one is stronger than basically all of them. It smells much more mature to me too and I can see women more in their mid 20s and above wearing it, rather than teens and early 20s. It's dark, mysterious, sophisticated (very), sultry. Definitely a night time party wear or for a date night- it could be for a fancy event, or something more fun and free. I'd say perfect for Autumn, but also suitable for a winter day or a cooler spring night. It takes me back to something from the early 2000s - 2010s. Predominantly I get the blackcurrant, patchouli and chocolate, but the pear and amber and perhaps the freesia is also noticeable. Not for everyone and not a safe blind buy- unless you now you like blackcurrant and patchouli and chocolate notes. I picture someone with dark hair and a lacy black dress and boots wearing this. Gorgeous! And selectively approachable, attracting the right people only.

I found this at a discount store for a steal. I quickly read the notes and some reviews and snagged it because I love gourmands. This is sweet. Not cloying. This reminds me of the holidays. Like those chocolate oranges you get for Christmas? Chocolate covered fruit at the opening that dries down to powdery chocolates and berries. Save it for cool weather. It is playful but not too young, in my opinion. This is a bit heavier than something like pink sugar or a bath and body works spray. I wouldn't wear this at night because it is just so sweet and casual.

When people say it smells like dryer sheets they mean the new fancy smelling ones by snuggle like vanilla orchid, not the plain old fashioned smelling ones that come to mind when you think of fresh laundry. I definitely dont get the black opium or angel comparisons though. The bottle definitely isnt as beautiful in person. This one is going back to Burlington but I'm glad I finally got to smell it

I'm sorry I meant to say this smells exactly like forbidden pure seduction by Victoria's secret. If anyone remembers that one it's not listed in the fragrantica. It smells similar to dark kiss but not identical.

'Dark' fruitchouli with a sweet blackcurrant and sweet-ish dark chocolate, gets woodier and powdery as it dries down. Perfect for autumn, sits just above the skin.

This smells just like one of the "dark" victorias secret smells. I believe its was midnight pure forbidden to be precise. Amber and dark berries

Big blast of yummy dark chocolate in the top. I wish it stuck around but a very tart, sour and sweet fruit note takes over pretty quickly. The cotton flower note is so annoying to me. It doesn't belong here in my opinion. Why would anyone want to smell like chocolate and cotton sheets treated with too much fabric softener? This sort of smells like Angel, Black Opium, Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense, La Nuit Tresor and Britney Spears Private Show were all having a fun orgy in a hotel room and the maid, bearing freshly washed sheets, walked in without knocking and ruined the mood. It's a confused scent and a pass for me. The chocolate does smell good in the first couple of minute but devolves quickly into a sharp, sour fruitcouli mess with an odd clean note. It's not a safe blind buy.

princess noir hot humid summer two sprays to back of hand. fruchouli, creamy/slight wood?? simple scent but wow has a really decent sillage. im impressed. it doesnt smell like a celeb scent (-at the moment) the "people also like" section has lots of katy perry and others like that. some of these princess flankers are lovely, and some do nothing for me. good range though, and usually not too expensive.

Ugh! I sprayed this on my shirt sleeve while I was out & 2 hours later this awful powder scent is still projecting. It smells a lot like CH 212. I do not smell any "chocolate" whatsoever & whoever thought this smells like Angel needs an ENT asap.

For fellow Aussies looking for this scent, it's available at Good Price Pharmacy, Cosmetics Fragrance Direct and Priceline. Hoping I'll be able to find a tester to try!

I don't know how or why but upon drydown (approximately 45 minutes to an hour after spraying) this is a dead ringer for Rihanna's RiRi. Interesting

I can’t wait for this to be available in Australia, it sounds amazing and just like the sort of perfume I would wear!
