Circe

I smelled this in a store twice and really loved it. You would imagine it’s a gourmand based on the candied orange and vanilla. Well it’s not. It’s very sensual and warm, I wouldn’t call it sweet. I think the citrus (I only smell bergamot, not lime) creates a good balance with the other notes. I am considering buying a bottle, but as another reviewer said, the packaging isn’t really appealing. I don’t mind the design of the bottle: it has some weight to it and it doesn’t feel cheap, but the image on the label is kinda off putting.

Totally peculiar perfume. It is good and peasant but also different for anything else around. To my nose there is something like coriander. For sure it is not just a lemony vanilla and there is a gourmand vibe, but not on a pastry side. I would like to see different packaging of the label and bottle, because they look cheap. Recommended to test before buy. 3/5
