Cap d'Antibes

As other reviewers have said, definitely a lot of resin, pine, and some subtle citrus at the top. But then the florals come in STRONG, very quickly. It's a gorgeous, complex, beachy and summery scent. I could see wearing this on a yacht, or on a private island, despite the fact that I will probably never have a yacht or a private island. But I have this fragrance, and that's what matters. My girlfriend loves it and I love how it smells on her skin, but I could see myself wearing it too. A really nice unisex fragrance that I would say skews slightly light and feminine.

From a sample: At the top I mainly get resins and pine. The citrus is subtle and the florals are only detected when my nose is against my wrist. As it dried the florals never got prominent, the citrus faded naturally and it remained primarily resinous. Unisex, a bit light and definitely less citrus and and aquatic than I imagined. Oddly enough the top reminded me of, but doesn’t necessarily smell like, Vetiver 46.

This started out fairly pleasant with resins and coniferous notes, but then the Iso E super (cedar accord) took over. It reminded me of a resinous, coniferous take on D&G Light Blue for women.

This opens with resins with slight citrusy feel and comes up the pines and light touches of cedar. After just a few seconds, floral and aquatic notes come up stronger and stronger. Leans 80% feminine. Florals is the main note i smell from my skin, followed by pines and resins that is smoothen out by aquatic notes.

The first couple of minutes it reminds me of an aftershave my father used to wear ages ago. Fortunately, soon after that, some flowers emerge and it becomes a pleasant piney fresh scent. Based on the description, I guess I expected something more. Longevity on my skin is about three hours and then it's gone.

Just out of the shower coniferous fresh and clean scent up top. But then it moves to a balancing act of antiseptic Pinesol and a woodsy cedar wind whipping against your face. I don't feel I would necessarily use this as a singular scent but perhaps a better layering element for a more floral fragrance

This fragrance brings up an image in my mind. Have you ever seen the movie Mad Max? Max lives in a wooded area by the ocean. This is the image this fragrance evokes in me. Trees near the coastline. For me, this fragrance is all about imagery. Beautiful imagery. Very peaceful imagery.
