Cédrat de Diamante

This is the fragrance that surprisded me the most from the Atelier-Collection. it is a very very fresh woody fragrance (the cedar is the top note of the fragrance, but the grapefruit and the lemon are also dominant). This is a fragrance for an elegant man, who controls the room through his elegance and his wisdom, not by being loud or having a hig rank.It is subtle and distinct. The freshness is done so well, that it might excuse the obcene price-tag. This is a very nice take on fresh-woody fragrances, because it is Quite different from what I've smelled. It somehow reminded me of 'Straight to Heaven' by Kilian, because the rum together with the dried fruits and patchouli gave the cedar a nice twist (which I loved). I highly recommend it, but be careful of the price.

Cédrat de Diamante is a fairly simple perfume when looking at the composition, however I have to admit the quality and blending of the materials is fantastic. It opens straight away with a hyperrealistic combination of juicy grapefruit and sour lemon, before a woody base of cedar and vetiver emerges. I cannot deny that the lemon in here smells fantastic, in fact one of the best I’ve come across however at the end of the day it’s still a simplistic citrus fragrance and I cannot see why this costs £320, despite the quality. Overall this is a very pleasant and well made fragrance, potentially worth it if you’re a die-hard fan of lemon; but otherwise I cannot see any need for this fragrance to cost as much as it does.

Cedrat de Diamante is a citrus bomb while the top notes last, then settles down to a lovely woody aroma. After trying the samples I immediately got that wow factor like I had to have it. The price is so much for the big bottle at RRP. Luckily I managed to buy a bottle off someone at a fraction of the full price and get still by far my most expensive fragrance purchase. I might add one of my best purchases still, as it’s my number one scent to use in the warmer months especially a sunny day you can’t beat this. Performance is ok I get a good few hours then it fades. Could be better at the price point.

Awesome summery citrus scent. Sampled this at a duty free shop and instantly fell in love with it. Love the citrus opening and detect some florals in the background. Presentation is excellent; it comes in a beautiful, faux-leather, hinged box reminiscent of Xerjoff's. Bottle is robust, twisted glass, with a magnetic Medusa cap. However, I have to echo previous comments that it's kinda linear and doesn't project much, so definitely not worth the overpriced MSRP. Thankfully I got it for an amazing deal at a discounter's for $156

This is the best lemon scent ever. Smells so natural and smooth and easily lasts 8 hours with 10 sprays, and it won't offend anyone. I found a tester bottle on sale and also had a $20 discount code. It was cheaper than most designers you'd find in stores here in Australia but it has niche quality. It's one of my best purchases in years.
