Crystal Emerald

At first sniff, it seemed banal and uninteresting, a simple mix of sweet-and-fresh, even,snobbishly speaking, slightly cheap. But then I explored it further and fell in love. The dry-down is very high quality, never turning vague or muddled, but lingering and unfolding into distinct notes. You can feel sweet peach, tart berries, a light and delicate abstract floral, and sensual musk. This balance of sweet, fresh, tart, and musky leaves an incredibly pleasant impression. You just breathe it in and enjoy! And the sillage is stunning 😍 What I love is that it’s both sweet and fresh at the same time, clean yet sensually alluring. It remains, nonetheless, simple in its composition, but I think that simplicity is the result of a lot of work by the perfumer. There are so many nuanced elements, yet they’re so perfectly balanced that they feel like a single, harmonious whole. It includes the now-trendy peaches, showing it was crafted with contemporary tastes in mind, where sweetness is often mixed with molecular notes. Here, instead of molecularity, there’s freshness and airiness reminiscent of perfumes from the late ’90s to early 2000s, creating a fascinating sense of temporal blending. When I first encountered it, I tested many niche perfumes in the store, and the sales assistant suggested I try Emerald. Snobbishly, I thought, “Why should I even try another Versace Crystal-type fragrance? What nonsense.” But in the end, nothing expensive or “pretentious” captivated me like this one. This “simpleton” completely won over my nose, dismissing any silly rational arguments about its “simplicity” or “cheapness.”

Mmm... this one is a bit of a chameleon. The first time I tried it, I turned my nose up almost immediately. It felt far too soapy and clean, and I just couldn't connect with it. Then I wore it again... and completely changed my mind. Suddenly it was this beautiful, sparkling peach with an almost fizzy quality, like fresh laundry drying in the sunshine on a bed of soft musk and delicate florals. I loved it so much that it went straight onto my wish list. Now, this is my third time wearing it, and on a sticky summer day here in the UK, it's incredibly refreshing. That said, the incense is definitely the wildcard. It's quite polarising, and I completely agree with someone who described it as "summer goth." It somehow manages to feel fresh, airy, and just a little mysterious all at once. I really do like this fragrance, but I still haven't committed to a full bottle. I probably will eventually though, if only because I'm a redhead with a weakness for beautiful teal and emerald green bottles. Sometimes the bottle is half the temptation. This definitely isn't a safe blind buy. I'd recommend sampling it first, because it seems to wear very differently depending on the day, the weather, and possibly even my mood. Fiancé's reaction genuinely surprised me. He gave it a 10 out of 10 and told me he could smell me from upstairs. He said it left an incredibly sweet, floral scent cloud behind me, which made me laugh because he's normally all about vanillas and sugary gourmands. If he loves a fresh floral, you know it's doing something right. 🌼

This fragrance took me back to my childhood. While looking at perfumes in the store, I immediately wanted to try this one because the bottle was in my favorite color. I had no idea about the notes or what kind of scent it would be. Because of the color, I thought it would be a green, botanical fragrance, but I was wrong. I’m actually glad I was. In the opening, I noticed a fresh scent with a light touch of spices, but this freshness is not harsh enough to overwhelm your nose and blends naturally into the composition. After a while, a powdery and delicate rose scent started to emerge. A light fruity sweetness that made me think of sorbet accompanied this rose. Maybe some of you remember those scented baby dolls. They used to smell powdery and lightly sweet. The rose was noticeable, but it didn’t smell like rose Turkish delight. As it started to dry down, it reminded me of those scented baby dolls I used to have as a child. The powderiness isn’t heavy, the rose isn’t dominant, and the fruity feeling doesn’t feel too strong. It’s quite balanced and enjoyable for everyday use. I fell in love with both the bottle and the scent. For me, it stands out from other designer perfumes because it feels unique and delicate. It’s suitable for every season, but summer might be the perfect time for it. On my skin, the longevity was around 6 hours.

Now that I’ve had this for a month or so, and haven’t gotten tired of it, I have to write down how much I love this scent. I agree with most previous reviews that indeed, this is a clean scent—but with a twist! At the opening, I do smell a bit of the pink pepper, but that dissipates within the first hour or so. The bergamot, jasmine and raspberry are strong there and linger for hours. It does remind me of a tangy, citrusy sorbet! I must say that my favourite note is the rosebud: it’s loooovely and very rose-watery. The dry-down on my skin is musky and sweet, imagine a great body lotion. On my clothes, the tangy citrus-rose scents linger on for days. The scent behaves very differently on clothes vs. my skin, which I like. Feels like this perfume has two personalities, so it’s quite versatile. For many, it could be a bit hard to pin down what this scent is: is it floral, aquatic, musky-rose..? Personally, I like that. TL;DR: Imagine a tangy citrus-rose sorbet enjoyed seaside or poolside, fresh out of the shower, wrapped in clean robes with moisturized skin.

Versace Emerald layered with Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume is absolutely stunning. The fresh, sparkling citrus and green notes of Emerald blend beautifully with the clean, musky ambroxan of Not a Perfume, creating a scent that is both sophisticated and effortlessly elegant. Second review: I was amazed at how perfectly Versace Emerald and Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume complement each other. Emerald adds a vibrant, jewel-like freshness, while Not a Perfume enhances it with a smooth, clean musk that makes the scent feel more refined and long-lasting. Together, they create a chic and unforgettable fragrance that smells expensive, fresh, and incredibly feminine. This layering combination has quickly become one of my all-time favorites.

I wasn't expecting much from this fragrance and I'm surprised by how much I like it. I don't have many clean fresh fragrances in my collection. So many of them remind me of air freshener, or are too screechy or they have too much ambroxan in the base or they are lovely (Jeanne Lanvin) but disappear too fast especially in hot weather. This fragrance is fresh and clean but it's also creamy so there is no screechiness and no air freshener vibe. As it dries down I'm faintly reminded of Forever and Ever by Dior but with the florals dialled down and the creaminess amped up. It also has impressive longevity and sillage. I'm not sure that the bottle suits the scent as I don't get any green notes from this but who cares? It's a lovely fragrance and one that I will definitely be adding to my collection before the summer. It will be a great everyday summer scent for the office.

I just purchased this as a blind buy, and I'm so glad that I did! I was afraid I wouldn't like it, based on the notes, particularly the peach & raspberries, but I don't get either of those at all! As soon as I sprayed it on my wrist, I had the distinct feeling that I'd worn it before, and then it hit me: Burberry Weekend (1997) and Lutèce by Dana. I used to own both when I was much younger, and I loved them both. I sprayed only one spray at around 5pm, when the UPS guy dropped off my package from Ulta, and I can still smell it more than 8 hrs later. I can't stop smelling my wrist! I only bought the travel size, and as soon as it's done, I'll have to buy the large size, I love it that much. Edit: I don't know why, but I get a strong almond note in this, and I love it that much more. I've been wearing it every other day.

I LOVE this perfume! It has quickly become my signature scent, I've been through bottles of it. I tested it randomly in store and it's very rare for me to completely fall in love with a perfume but I really did. It doesn't have any of the notes I normally go for (I go crazy for anything vanilla/sandalwood - JHAG Sunny Side Up would be my perfect scent, if only it lasted...) but for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to buy it. My skin destroys perfume but for some reason this is an absolute beast on me, a few sprays and it lasts all day. I had someone in the post office ask me to write it down for them, even though I had gone nose blind to it. It's a clean, soapy, expense shampoo scent that is incredibly addictive.

This is Versace The Dreamer minus the quick artificial opening that I endure because I love it so much. Also, something is amped up here. I don't get any raspberry. As far as peach, perhaps the tang of peach skin stripped of any sweetness. The initial "cooling" upon first spraying is there throughout, but mellows and blends as the duet of the pink pepper and the green (slight) floral come forward. I think it's the cooling part that's maybe from something minty or juniper-y is what's making some reviewers say it's masculine. But, it's not harsh or woody in anyway. This stands out from everything coming out in the shops, I wish they would have put it in a neutral bottle like The Dreamer so more people would try it.

When I first sniffed this in Sephora, it instantly smelled familiar to me. I got powdery clean jasmine, and something else that is spicy. It definitely read as a bit mature. I think it smells a bit like the old Cover Girl green powder compact (Moisture Wear) if you’re old enough to remember that. I bought it because it was nostalgic and I like powdery jasmine. This one is clean but spicy at the same time, which I love. It finally hit me today that it smells incredibly similar to Bvlgari Voile de Jasmin, which I loved. I see no resemblance to literally any of the other fragrances mentioned here. The lasting power is amazing, I can still smell it after 12 hours. This is a good everyday perfume for me.

First impression: I actually liked this more than I expected. The opening has a soft citrus touch (bergamot) with a hint of sweetness, very fresh and pleasant. On my skin it quickly becomes a clean, musky, slightly powdery scent with a delicate rosy nuance. The rose feels very light, not watery or aquatic, but gently powdery and a little soapy, giving that “clean skin” feeling. It reminds me of high-end baby products: soft, comforting and elegant. Projection is discreet and it stays quite close to the skin, very much a skin scent. It gives me a similar vibe to Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc Blanc, clean, soft and quietly beautiful. Very easy to wear all year round. Office safe.

The notes: bergamot (from Calabria thank you very much), juicy/velvety peach, pink peppercorn, jasmine, and luscious raspberry sorbet. Does it smell like any of that? Nope. What does it smell like? A big, white bar of luxe bath soap. It's fresh, it's creamy, it's sudsy. It's not trying too hard. This is a perfect scent for the summer. I walked around Palm Springs, CA today in 105-degree heat and I still smelled clean. After showering, I could still easily smell this on my skin. Living in the California desert, I will get plenty of use out of this simple, squeaky-clean perfume. Where I live, this will work anytime, anyplace. I love it.

After contemplating this for some months I got it! Yes it's a clean scent. However, it is a type of freshie that doesn't feel too young/immature/teenage to me. I don't get any pepper in the citrus opening (does anybody?), but fresh sorbet notes lingers for some time. I love jasmine, and jasmine notes in this type of blend (aquatic-fruity forward, instead of white floral) is refreshing. I would say the raspberry and rosebud note combo in this reminds me of wild strawberry, like sweet + sour type of note. For a clean designer scent, the performance is pretty good. The drydown is comforting musky blend, I don't get a lot of tonka bean.

There’s something addictive about this scent that makes me keep smelling my wrists. A few people have compared it to Dove soap... I get that. It definitely has a creamy, soapy vibe; however, for me it smells more the the original bars of Caress soap... maybe because of the peach note. 🤔 That’s nostalgic for me because that’s what my mom always had in the house when I was a teenager. This is definitely a clean girl fragrance, but I feel men could pull it off, as well. The incense in the dry down gives it a little air of mystery, so it’s not straight up soap. I’ll be reaching for this a lot this spring and summer.

I am happy that people are sleeping on this scent. It came out in the fall and it’s a scent one would except to launch in the summer or springtime. It’s a unique phenomenal scent that transforms and is intoxicating. It makes me feel like a mermaid. It’s spa like, in a refined exotic way. I haven’t smelled anything like it, and I’m tired of smelling the same sweet, sugary, and vanilla scent profiles. It’s been a long time that a perfume was able to impress me. The longevity and scent trail is superb. Another unique quality fresh perfumes lack. I loved it from the beginning to the dry down.

I find Crystal Emerald bright and sweet. I don't find it reminds me of soap, but I can see where someone might think that if they didn't look too deep. This is, however, much richer than that. First spray sweeps musky, and underneath that is all the fruits and florals. I don't get specific rose or sorbet or pepper or even bergamot...maybe some jasmine, but I credit that note because of adding so much to the sweetness of the whole. I find it only a touch watery, and not at all incensey. This seems to last a long, long time. This is the only Crystal offering I love and would buy.

Sparkling, fresh, clean, stunning! On first spray I get a burst of fruitiness that feels so clean and inviting. Then it dries down to a musky incense floral which is just as beautiful. It’s a clean fresh fragrance that feels a bit different. The longevity is immense and I feel super clean all day. Definitely a spring and summer fragrance, feels too bright and fresh for the colder months. This is my new casual daytime scent in spring and summer - running errands, going to the office, heading to the gym - crystal emerald is my gal

I guess this is what I see as a "salty" floral. And I definitely think it smells like a soap bar, but in the best way. When I smell a soap bar like this I'm likely to buy it and leave it in my underwear drawer. 😂💗👍 It's not really relating to the notes shown, for me, I'm getting a green aquatic soapy floral. 🎋🌿💦☔ This is my kind of springtime floral. The more I smell it, the more I love it. For lovers of Omnia Crystalline and/or Chloé EDP. Seriously, peony or lilac are not listed in the notes at all? Really though... !

I was searching for a soap scent to compliment my husband’s Creed - Spring Mountain Water and this was exactly it. It starts off very juicy and fresh-out-shower and then you start to get the bergamot and jasmine as it dries. Once dried down, the musk and floral scents are perfectly balanced and create this very fresh and clean fragrance. I do think for the scent profile itself, it is a little overpriced, but for every day wear, it’s absolutely stunning. And I feel it’s a good transitional scent from day to evening

I had already found, what I thought was the scent I was going to use for this season but Versace Emerald drew me in.. This was a very pleasant surprise. I first sprayed it in the department store along with a slew of others but this scent stood out from the rest. It’s alluring, sophisticated, bright, smooth and bold at the same time. It makes an entrance, lingers and leaves in the air a beautiful memento of you. It’s an absolute lovely, long lasting scent that I would definitely purchase again. Thank you VERSACE.

I'm enamored with this scent. Lots of others aren't impressed by it, but I am in love. It's so beautifully clean, put-together, sophisticated, and elegant without taking itself too seriously. It's deliciously juicy while still being soapy. It lasts and performs very well on me, and still inoffensive. I love it so much that I wore it on my birthday (layered with Musk Therapy). I always go for syrupy, candy sweet sexy flourmands on my birthday, so that says a lot for me. Super high praises.

Defo the best of the crystals. Starts of a bit zesty, citrusy. Then give it 30 min, oh boy, it becomes this peachy creamy musky beauty. It lasts seriously long for a Versace Crystal. I was impressed how i could feel it on my jacket sleeve still 3 days after spraying it in the airport. I thought it was someone else smelling so good. Started sniffing around to detect who (u’ve been there). It was me! Then i said i gotta have it. Then today i got it. I smell my wrist and i’m lovin it ❤️

BEAUTIFUL!! My colleague and I ordered it, we are delighted, but even though it is a woman perfume, it totally does not have to mean that we men cannot wear it as well, in fact, it suits it perfectly now for warmer spring days, I believe even during the summer. You can feel the cleanliness and freshness, you can easily spray it more and more than it should, it is pleasant all the time and you can feel it at 3-4 meters without any problems. Definitely a recommendation for this one.

Finally , a Versace release I can truly enjoy. This is my favorite post shower scent .. it extends the feeling of being freshly cleaned. I love to layer Versace’s Eros Pour Femme EDT with it. Super happy to have this in my collection .. i usually gravitate towards deep resinous vanilla amber frankincense types of fragrances so getting to appreciate this refreshing and uplifting clean scent profile just gives me hope I thought I was never going to find the right one.

Guys this is the one! This is the one for summer! 🌺 This scent is simply amazing. It's quite sweet at first, but let it develop! It becomes such a fresh yet sweet fragrance that lasts a long time. It's perfect for summer when you just want to feel fresh and don't want to wear heavy scents. Wow, really wow. It makes you feel so good. It's like a beautiful sunny day in spring or summer that isn't too hot, and everything feels so carefree.🌿☀️🌊

Since a long time I did not fall in love with a perfume at first sniff..thank God not a gourmand, but a potent freshie! So luxe feeling,I was so happy that the perfume also liked me, it performed and stayed with me sooo long.. It is so well done, the first spray you get a rose/peach sorbet..I am not a rose girl, unless it is done right, everthing comes than together, nothing stands out, all the notes are in harmony...this will be mine!

I purchased it after trying it 3 times and all 3 it stayed for more than 24 hours on my skin. Since I've been wearing it I have received multiple compliments either saying I smell good and what I'm wearing. I just purchased my second bottle. I always liked the bright crystal line but the longevity and projection was always iffy. This one is a winner. It's a clean soapy beautiful fragrance with floral hints and musc.

I fell in love which caught me totally off guard, minding the pyramid. I love peach and i seem to like pink pepper too. But together?! And I dislike raspberry. But the composition is very well blended. Not the casual fruity floral at all. It is bright, but rich - full body perfume. Signature worthy. It has nothing in common with Bright Crystal, nor Crystal Noir, so do not expect any resemblance to either of them.

I really like this one, it is clean and musky without being "in your face"-fresh. Perfect everyday scent, nothing special to be honest but it is very comforting. Bright crystal is, in my opinion, almost too fresh, to the point of being sharp and annoying. This one is more mellow and muskier, much more of a newly showered and body lotion-ey vibe than, I guess "hairspray" (which I can get from BC).

Soapy and sweet 💚 This would probably smell mature to a lot of women especially people around my age but as a 19-year-old, I love scents like these! This and The Colour of Pomegranate by Moth & Rabbit is as far as I'd go personally before you get to extreme soapiness for example Bright Crystal by this same brand so if that one's too extreme for you, this is worth a try!

I've been wearing Bright Crystal for a long time and wanted to give this flanker a chance. I'm so glad I did. I'm in love with this perfume. It's clean, fresh, a little bit musky, a little sweet. This might be my signature scent but we'll see. My mother adores Crystal Noir Edp, she also loved this one. If you like Versace perfumes in general, you'll probably like it!!!

I LOVE this. Highly underrated, and somewhat different from past flankers in this line. Starts out bright, clean, almost sharply soapy, like a bar of fresh white soap. But the softer fruity notes come in pretty quickly to soften it, and then it’s an addictive bright, fruity musk. This is like a stronger, crisper Liis Floating, with the peach and clean musk combo.

To me this smells like you’re fresh out of the shower! To my nose this is a clean fresh scent with a juicy fruity touch. It’s very bright and combined with the sorbet note the fragrance feels very summery! When the scent has settled and it dries down, a skin close powdery vanilla note becomes more prominent which almost reminds me of the dove vanilla soap!

This perfume belonged to my mama, she passed suddenly 3 weeks ago in an accident. I find myself opening the bottle and smell her, closing my eyes, missing her, for a faint moment I almost believe she's here. I miss her so much. This bottle is a weak comfort, and yet it isn't weak. Just for a second I feel her presence again. Before I remember.

This is a very long lasting, very noticeable soapy fresh fragrance. Reminds me of the discontinued Versace Blonde, if you liked that fragrance you’ll love this. It’s giving clean cotton, white flowers, soap & baby powder - highly distinctive & memorable and will get you noticed as it’s a total clean vibe that’s still present 8 hours later.

I fell in love with this fragrance! It reminds me of Dove soap + a good admixture of bergamot and musk. I bought perfume and shower gel. I love when fragrance is on me all day. Very complimentary . I usually wear perfumes that "burn out" and leave a light trail after 2-3 hours. But this crystal made me very happy 💚💚💚

Strong, soapy freshie that is perfect for spring and summer. It’s rose, jasmine and musk-foward on me with a subtle kick from pink pepper, bergamot and raspberry. The incense is subtle also but gives it staying power. Well-blended and aromatic. I’ll buy a FB when I finish the travel spray.

Love that this scent isn't the classic kind and is different from what everyone else wears. At least no one around me smells like this. And it's quite surprising that you can still smell it after a while, because a lot of citrusy, fresh scents don't last at all.

This is sooo beautiful fragrance! Sweet, clean and fresh. It has comforting quality, especially after shower its perfect! It has this spa like quality. I love this beautiful bottle as well! Best from crystal line, imo.

I've been wearing this the past two days and love it! It's a very clean laundry scent. Like when you're walking outside and get a whiff of the neighbors doing their laundry mixed with the fresh spring air! Love it! 😄

I love it! Beautiful, fresh, right out of the shower soapy vibe. The first spray you can get the pink pepper, but the dry down is EVERYTHING. Very relaxing and spa-like. The freshie I never knew I needed!

It's not an artificial scent, it feels like it connects with nature and is addictive. The jasmine note is just cherry on top. It's suitable for daily use, but unfortunately, it doesn't last very long.

This was love at first sniff for me. I have been wanting to smell it because of its beautiful color and did not disappoint me. I had to take it home and I think it will be a staple in my collection.

Fresh gorgeous soapy clean laundry scent mixed with this kinda designer “perfumey” note. It reminds me vaguely of Chloe Nomad in the dry down. Amazing for high heat, love this!
