Crystal Noir Parfum

This fragrance has a story, albeit a petty story, but a story nonetheless! As most of you know, I collect fragrances and I have scent wardrobes to suit seasons, moods, occasions, settings and to make and retrieve scent memories. I am known amongst my girlfriends as a perfume expert, and I often introduce and recommend scents I think they'll like, and for the most part they do! This girlfriend of mine, let's call her Tilly, just came back from a 2-month Eurotrip last weekend. I've introduced Tilly to most of the fragrances she has, and I've gifted her many, up until this point. So, I went over to hers for drinks and sunshine last Sunday, she showed me the two perfumes she bought on her trip; some Tresor La Nuit (which I've had for years), and this one; Crystal Noir Parfum. Now, I've smelled the edt and edp and was unimpressed by them, a bit too spicy, not enough sweetness, and just generic perfumey perfume (like I get with most Versace frags)... but not this Parfum one, this 2024 version is EXQUISITE! I sprayed it once on my hand and it was heavenly jasmine, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, soft tuberose and amber/solar/coconutty goodness (even though there's no coconut listed, the combo of notes is giving plasticy coconut which I dig), and it lasted from 4pm until the next day, surviving 2 hand washes! I was completely shook! And also green with envy, not gonna lie. So what did I do? Well on Monday I ordered myself the big bottle of this, you bet I did! The cherry on top? It was half off, I am over the moon! Ladies, this potion is sweet, sultry and super sexy and, unlike the edp which is a bit too spicy and not sweet enough, I think you could rock this potion any time of the year, as long as it's in the evening and night! PS: Upon reflection, I think what really elevated this fragrance to me is the Lily of the Valley! This is a scent that, when added as a middle note, always seems to elevate a perfume to OBSESSION status for me. If you, like me, are also into this note, try Annicke 5 by Eight & Bob, Dior J'adore L'or, MFK Aqua Universalis, Dior Pure Poison and Dior Hypnotic Poison, so don't think that only super flowery/spring perfumes have Lily of the Valley.

After three weeks of using this, I will say they have successfully created the closest they will ever come to re-creating the original. This is very strong and I get compliments from people more than anything else because of how strong it is. This is very well layered, complex and evolves beautifully. My only complaint is that a fragrance like this can be damaged very easily from conditions like humidity or not being stored properly. Which means you will see a lot of unreliable reviews on here. This is one you get nose blind to fast and if you wear fragrances every day, it won’t smell as strong, but believe me everybody else will!! I can smell it on my skin at the end of the day and on my clothes the next day. The milkiness from the original is back and it smells extremely addictive. Family and friends who remember my old Crystal Noir signature scent have told me that it “smells nice again.” It smells like something extremely expensive. Again, it’s not the exact same scent but 70% of it is there. Some people discovered it after 2020 and are upset it smells nothing like the new version they are used to. And then there are people who can’t just appreciate something beautiful for what it is because it’s not exactly what they used to have. It very much has a lot of DNA of the original crystal noir more than the reformulated versions do. This bottle smells more like 2020 than today’s EDT or EDP of crystal noir. The caramel might be a deal killer for some. However, I think the caramel gives Crystal noir back the silkiness and some thickness it lost in 2020. Crystal Noir is once again my signature scent only Parfum. Who cares if it’s marketed for women.

I’m the guy who filmed that long video on the reformulation on YouTube years ago. I wasn’t sure what to anticipate, I didn’t read reviews, I just bought it. The 2017-2020 formulation of the EDP was my signature scent. The newer EDT grew on me... alas is not the same despite being greatly improved in early 2024. This new parfum is almost identical to the logo and font used for the original Noir in 2003. Is it the same scent we all miss and love? No. But MAN is this addictive, it sticks to your clothes and skin just like the original did. It follows you wherever you go. Everyone will smell you and compliment you like in the old days. I’m a man and I wear this frequently and layer the EDT/EDP on top of it occasionally. This is extremely seductive and reintroduces much of what was lost in 2021, the thick milky plastic but heavenly good, only the plasticy is toned down which I don’t like. I know that sounds weird. I get compliments on this the way I used to before Covid hit. When I wear this and sit on someone’s couch or chair, someone else knows I was there, it just leaves a cloud. This is well layered and high quality. It has that luxurious vibe that was lost in 2021. No it’s not the same scent, but it traded some of the soul left in the new EDT/EDP and restored much essence of the original with the main elements restored.

I will preface this review by acknowledging that I am a long time fan of Versace Crystal Noir EDT, but I will try to keep it objective. I love Crystal Noir Parfum 2024! Is it better, not just double the price of the classic EDT, than the OG version??? I don’t think so... It maintains the line DNA very well even though the note structure seems quite different at first glance: a sensual, alluring, unique, creamy, warm, powdery, woody, soft spicy floral with a rich vanilla/sandalwood base. To my nose, it smells like there’s some coconut in here, and I can’t figure it out what else from the notes listed could smell like coconut. Performs well, it’s strong and has moderate sillage. Do I need the 2024 Parfum version when I have 3 bottles of the EDT?? Not really!!! Will I add it at some point to my collection? Definitely, I love this line from Versace! In my opinion, Crystal Noir line is the best one, out of the three Crystal collections created by Versace! I would recommend it to anyone, who wants something different (no matter the age) than what designers offer currently. Crystal Noir will make you stand out and get you compliments! Beautiful 2024 reinterpretation of an iconic perfume!

I have left a hasty opinionated review on Versace Crystal Noir Eau de Perfume, so now its time for PERFUME version of this fragrance and oh my god, they are two DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT fragrances. What I hated about the edp is that it is inremarkable, boring and just plain. Which is the worst, for perfumes in this pricerange. It also had a sour quality which i didnt like. This one is so cvnty. It opens with sharp soapy flower, Versace perfumes have this unique quality to kick you into liking them... Then, after a minute, it settles. Its cold soap, with wood and white flower. It is like cashmere in a bottle. Balanced, huggable and recognizable. Kinda fresh but in a warm way. This evokes in me pure emotions, washed and ironed white clothes, sandbeaches in satin dress, a hug from a stylish but cool friend. After an hour or two, the pepper and spice comes out, the warmth of your body will pulse this perfume trought every limb, you will become a woman with big W. I am 100% reccomending and buying this perfume for good, I feel new, I feel grown now.

This is a complex fragrance, not one that I initially clung to. At first spray I thought I made a mistake. BUT then I wore it for a bit, sprayed again, and sat with it. It grew on me. This wasn't necessarily a blind purchase; however, I smelled the EDT in store about a year ago, read some reviews, then ordered the EDP online. I recall the EDT smelling lighter than the EDP (as expected I suppose). Mysterious is a great word to describe this scent. The initial notes are definitely spicy, and then as time goes on, the sweet/floral/woody scent becomes more apparent. I started really enjoying it. I sprayed it on myself before going to bed, woke up 8 hours later, and still smelled it. It lasts a long time. Definitely more of a fall/winter smell and leans more into an evening vibe. Slightly sexy and very interesting. I have yet to wear it out and about, but I anticipate getting complements/questions.

A perfume that costs over 100€ should last and project on ur skin without having to layer it with oil,then scented body lotion,then a body mist,then a light EDP,and then finally the perfume and THIS FINALLY i found one to do the job. The main accord says woody,and u would think “ok this is gonna be a woody perfume” and it is, so many perfumes with woody as either the first accord or the main 3 accords happen to make you suffer through fruity/citrus/floral top notes,then the floral/creamy middle notes untill u FINALLY get to the wood but at that point it no longer projects,its skin tight and it has 1 hour before it vanishes. But this one does the job,AGAIN. Spicy & lightly fruity for 5 minutes untill the gourmand notes,spices,white florals & wood all blend togheter in the sexiest way. Prefer this to the EDP & EDT version by miles,sillage is amazing,longevity is a beast. Ofc i will repurchase

I had been searching for a fragrance that would truly touch my heart for a long time, and I finally found it. It clung to my wrist for hours, and I could still catch traces of it even after showering. I couldn't imagine an elf without a signature scent, and now I finally have one. My daytime signature fragrance will be Chloe Nomade Lumiere d'Egypte while Versace Crystal Noir Parfum will definitely be my signature scent for the evening. I recently got this one for my birthday and I love it so much! Truth be told, I wanted to buy the EDP but I mistakenly bought the Parfum, but it worked out well for me because I love this one even more. It’s dark, sexy, delicious and kind of boozy. I’d say it’s very unisex, slightly more female than male tho. It’s also very long lasting. On skin, I get around 7 hours with great projection before it starts to become a skin scent that remains there for another 4 hours or so. On clothes it’s eternal, but I’d be careful with spraying on some clothes because it does leave an oily sheen. I think it’s a great perfume for winter, summer nights and special events.

She’s dark, spicy, sensual, woody, a bit fresh from the pink pepper, with the perfect hint of black currant’s edgy sweetness. Impressive lasting power and projects nicely for the first couple hours, but she doesn’t shout, she hums. The sillage is so dreamy and mystical, you’ll be getting whiffs here and there long past the 8 hour mark. If you spray your clothes, it will surely last well into the next day. This is a dream come true! I think I’ve finally found the perfect vampy fragrance for me. I feel sexy and oh so very mysterious. This is a scent equivalent to lying naked on a bed of mulberry silk. If she was a time of day, she’d be dusk. 🖤

I have the EDP and i went to search for the EDT version today ,but they only had a tester for the new perfume version...I dont care what the notes are, this after a minute smells very similar to the EDP version, except that it is more sweet , less sharp and has an almost coconuty creaminess to it. I think many people in here keep reviewing the other versions of the crystal noir, thats why someone says its very sharp and woody and someone, that it is sweet. The EDP is definitely sharp and a bit masculine, meanwhile this perfume is more creamy and sweet. I really like this version, it is not ruined, it still got the same Crystal noir DNA .

Love this with passion. My signature, my go-to, the one I reach for almost everyday. I feel like a boss babe wearing this. I stand out but I’m not to much in your face like for example libre le Parfum. It’s a clean girl scent but with a twist and edge. I wear it to work and I wear it to the party. It works with every occation I think. But for me, this requires a special personality. It’s not for the girly girls. Is for the girls (or boys) with some kind of masculine energy, strong personalities, boss babes to be honest. But thats all my opinion. Truely love for me

A well-blended perfume, spicy fruity sweet, caramel stands out for me and is well made, addictive but it's not something entirely new, it has similarities with the original. In my opinion the original EDP still remains their best release ever and there's a reason why generations of people still love it. The dry down of the original EDP is absolutely heavenly in my opinion. However, this flanker is of the same quality but not yet equal or superior to the original. For this reason, the astronomical price will probably drop significantly over the next 2 years.

The opening is fresh and peppery citrus. It then becomes smoother, slightly woody, with a delicate jasmine/flower tea note (I know it is not listed) and light and airy vanilla. This is a very beautiful creamy woody and slightly sweet perfume, it is similar to Musamam White from Lattafa, which I also like a lot. It projects nicely, becomes stronger as it dries and creates a delicious and comforting scent bubble. Good longevity. It is a unique fragrance, well worth getting if you fancy something a little different and very addictive 🖤✨️

This is a rare example of a home run fragrance for me. It’s a longevity and silage beast (literally I can still smell it on me after a day and a shower) and the moody creaminess of the scent profile is so addictive it’s insane. It combines this dark, deep, almost gothic spice with a soft, airy, mossy gardenia and a hint of vanilla and caramel gourmand - but not enough to make it sickly or dominating. I don’t buy the whole “you can only wear it during xyz conditions” because this is an all year round scent for me.

DO NOT BLIND BUY! This needs to be tested on your skin. This was definitely not a love at first sniff but since Versace gives me so many samples and minis, I had to just give a go and my opinion on this completely changed. The dry down for me is where the magic is at. The more I wear it the more I came to love it... (I did end up purchasing the full size) To my nose I get more of the Caramel, Vanilla and Akigalawood which blends so beautifully on my skin. Long lasting on me and sillage is great. 8/10 in my books.

I couldn't resist and had to buy it! I couldn't forget the magical and sensual way he has. Drydown is a bit common in woody products nowadays. I must say that it makes an incredible presence and is the real Parfum! It lasts the best on the skin of all the perfumes I have tested. After taking a shower, the perfume still lingers on the skin... It's strong... The only Parfum I know like this is Black Opium Le Parfum, but I must say that this one lasts even longer. It passes 24 hours very easily. I love it ♥️

incredible longevity and sillage. this smells a lot different from the EDT. the vanilla is creamy and smooth, reminiscent of the one in Burberry goddess. it also has the hint of smooth caramel I find in Goddess. though on me, this is mostly spicy. it is very well blended, but the most prominent notes, to me, are the pepper and the smooth vanilla. beautiful, dark, and signature worthy. i love spicy scents. whoever said this smells too much like coconut is wrong (imo.) I'm not getting any coconut

everyone says edp version is the best but listen, this new version is ANOTHER STORY !!! in the opening you can feel the sweetness of pink pepper and black currant then you feeling the heat of spices with amber in very sexy way and in the final stage you can get a beautiful flowery woody scent with a hint of vanilla. This perfume has everything what i want a perufme. a little bit of sweetness, a little bit spicy with hint of caramel, oriental with vanilla and woods and sexy as hell

Absolutely gorgeous, warm, sweet and lightly creamy, dancing towards a mature clean perfume while maintaining the airiness. Opening is a bit citrusy and soapy, but not too synthethic-astringent-y, then after half an hour it shifts into a much deeper, warmer and creamier scent, only getting more pleasant as time passes. Definitely my favorite. I thought YSL Libre Intense was my calling but after using this, I'm sure this is my new signature. Love love love!
