The rose in this reminds me of the discontinued Dior's creme de rose lip balm, very delicate and pink. I sense the tobacco leaves in the background which adds honey-like facets to perfumes & the amber giving warmth and sweetness-- so well blended that it never overshadows the pink rose. Not a groundbreaking rose perfume, yet I can't resist its simplistic beauty. I can picture someone who takes their skin care seriously and dousing this to complete their ritual.

To me 'Eclat de Rose' is a fresh and light rose fragrance. it opens very fresh, like there are lemons or bergamot in there. I was surprised how fresh the roses are here. The rose is definitely the top note of the fragrance and the roses are fresh and clean, like someone washed them with lemons. But maybe this is only me... I own a lot of rose-fragrances and I would probably like to buy it, but not for this price (ca. 350 €).

A fresh, pink rose on its stem. Initially, a shy lemon plays peek-a-boo w/ rose, but rose ceremoniously declares “It’s all about ME!” This scent is reminiscent of Diptyque Eau Rose. In fact, it’s a nearly indistinguishable dupe...light, airy, only the teeniest twinge short of photorealistic. Both are lovely soliflore Spring scents.

This is a gorgeous bright & light musk & roses perfume. One of a good uplifting mood fragrance. I do appreciate a hint of woody note in this one and a small touch of ambroxan. Even it seem suit for woman more, but I think this one could be a unisex perfume. Men may use for their simple waring mood too.

An incredibly beautiful, untainted rose - with one downfall; it's very weak and fades away within seconds. A bit later, it blooms ever so slightly on my skin and I catch the faintest of whiffs in the air. Someone really dropped the ball on this masterpiece in the final stage of production.

This is such a pretty pink rose, I love her. Demure and beautiful, it’s one of my favorites 🌷

OH THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROSE FRAGRANCES OUT!

This is very reminiscent of Red Roses by Jo Malone. The rose in Éclat de Rose is very present but it isn’t a fresh rose, it is more a dried up/potpourri rose, unfortunately. It’s linear and boring and definitely not worth the $$$. My oldest son mentioned that the smell reminds him of those scented garbage bags that Glad makes...I disagree with him but then again, I have to laugh... Glad (pun intended) I only got a sample...

This perfume closely reflects its bottle - it’s a light pink rose scent that leans more on the natural side rather than sweet, fruity or jammy rose. The heavier notes listed aren’t really detectable. Comparing it to my other rose perfumes I wouldn’t repurchase this as I think there’s better out there.

Smells very similar to Rose of No Man's Land, with the similar (annoying) papyrus.

Top: Centifolia rose firabsolue, cashmere wood Heart: Ambrox, Helvetolide This is THE Perfect Rose I have spent YEARS searing for! Far from some “boring”, common take on a rose, I have never known the rose to be better celebrated in scent! I smell pure, untainted, rose, genuinely and harmoniously supported and exalted, rather than polluted and suffocated, by every other note - something I have found in no other rose fragrance (to an extent Rose Saltifolia, which is in soft but palpable contrast with its environment, whilst this pure rose is distinct from any environment). Not one note is imperfect, too this, too that, or out of place. It is PERFECTION. All is perfectly positioned and poised. It is a fragrance of unison, one breath, thought and composition. The contrasts are too subtle and perfectly engineered to notice, so all we see is a cohesive artwork and idea of rose. I am confused that other commenters are saying this smells like other fragrances... WHY?! NO other rose smells THIS rosy, THIS pure! This is the Rose in all its divine purity! This rose is a classic, it knows its identity and won’t compromise, uninterested in superficially trying on different styles and trends. Genuinely comparing this to another rose is unimaginable! This rose, uniquely, is dewy, sticky, delectably blossoming all day. It has a strong, but airy and pervasive presence. It is, purely, the pink flower, in total earnestness without the leaves, stem or earth. The essence without the unnecessary. Musk gives it brightness and heightened purity, while amber provides unchallenging warmth and comfort. Cedar is grounding, but still soft and consonant. I suspect the inoffensive tobacco brings the sticky, softly unctuous quality. Nothing is abrasive (except, to an extent, the top notes, which, of course, dissipate), all is soft, round, enveloping like the perfect petals of a perfect rose flower. The rose is always the hero, light, never weighed down, dampened, darkened or diluted. It is naturally sweet with no unnecessary saccharine sugary notes. I do not miss the obsession with dirtying rose with patchouli or watering it down with peony. This fragrance is refreshingly straightforward and honest, hovering all day, like a cloud of always blooming pink rose. It reminds me of why people call rose ‘heart-opening.’ I feel it’s emotion! Finally, a scent that feels like my soul! It lasts all day on me (one spray each wrist and each side of neck). If you are looking for THE Perfect Rose, stop searching! Thank you, Nathalie Lorson, I am convinced you are the best in the business! You have created PERFECTION! If Versace ever dare to imagine discontinuing (they would be CRAZY), I will probably die! Long live Éclat de Rose, the queen of roses, THE Perfect Rose! What an effortless classic! This fragrance has my heart (and my heart was waiting for it!) 🥀.

With over 100 fragrances and countless others I've tried in the past 5 years, this is the one that has ticked all my 'rose loving ' boxes. Granted, it's not completely original, but it has a pinch of so many others i almost love, and creates the ultimate pretty pink versatile rose fragrance which of course. . I love and can't find fault with. At first it reminded me of Rose Peonia from Lancome, similar sparkling sweet pinkness. Then it occurred to me it's more like Duchess Rose from Penhaligons with that warm tang from Amber, even slightly with a mandarin tinge on the edges of the Amber giving it a Phantom fruity glow. This scent is also compared to Mille Et Une Rose from Lancome, which in itself has a slight link to Rose Peonia but with a focus turned towards that fruity Amber again. Although Mille Et Une Rose for me, ended up being too green and the Amber was too sour, it does bare a resemblance. Eclat De Roses is has such a beautiful smooth, blurry feel. The Pink smooth luxurious velvety rose stays centre stage, while the gentle Amber offers only a slight warm glow around it. I don't personally pick up on tobacco, perhaps it's adding some additional warmth and structure below the rose, but it's subtle. This is a large deep pink rose in full bloom, it's coated in dew drops and warming up to an early summer sun. With both a dewy softness and a warm glassy hue, it's a perfect year round elegant rose perfume. Rose and Jones 🌹 x

I would like to say I love this one so much, Top note remind me to Mille et Une Roses by Lancome but not too vanilla but I prefer to buy Versace. It opening with (a little) fresh and pretty rose that I can feel the pink colour more than red, so it would be soft and relaxing, but after the top note is gone I can smell the woody and just a little hint of tobacco in the middle note. For me I really love this fragrance so much, not a big fan of rose but this is my favourite one. Due the cost of it so this is hard for me to decide to buy it too, but if I have more money this would be one of my favourite fragrance that I will put on the shelf and use it 1-2 times per week.

This is definitely a nice rose scent... but is it just me or is it super weak? I sprayed it on a tester strip and was like man, this is pretty. Went back a few days later to give it a wear test, I sprayed 6 ish sprays on my clothes. It is a beautiful smooth rose water scent, but baby, you’re gonna have to go for like 40 sprays .. idk about you, but if I spend a few hundred dollars on a private collection fragrance it better at least project enough for me to smell me.. I can barely detect the scent on my clothes. This is just me and it could be better in warmer weather.

For what it is... A simple pink rose perfume. This is overpriced. If you'd like something similar £135/100ml price range, go with diptyque eau rose, especially if longevity doesn't matter to you. This and that are of the similar scent profile. I detect only a little incense or tabac when i overspray. To my nose, especially in the opening, it gives me a clear picture of a single pink rose in a clear vase.

this is a purely pretty amber rose! the warmer scents definitely don’t overpower the rose. it’s very pink and pretty!! one of my new favourite roses

The notes are very deceiving. It’s light and a transparent pink rose. Like if you made juice out of rose.

This smells so good a hybrid of La Rosee PDM and Atomic Rose.
