Lastly, don't jump on the HYPE or HATE trains, judge each Fragrance with your own nose, the results may surprise you. I was expecting an Attitude Loud Frag, but what I get is a Calm Soothing Romantic scent.

I purchased Versace Eros Eau de Toilette in early 2023, a 200 ml bottle, and wore it consistently for about two years. That amount gave me enough time to understand how it behaves in different settings, seasons, and on my skin, and overall it has been a dependable, easy to enjoy fragrance that delivered stronger results than I expected from something so widely worn. Performance and wear Longevity has been a real strength for me. On my skin it lasts very well, staying noticeable for hours without needing constant reapplication. I have also been told more than once that it suits my natural scent profile, which likely explains why it feels especially “right” when I wear it. Projection is solid, if you apply it properly it can be noticed by people around you at a comfortable distance, even in casual home or everyday situations. Scent profile What I enjoy most is the bright, sweet citrus character that stands out in a pleasant way. I have tried other citrus focused fragrances that can become too sharp or too one dimensional, but Eros stays more balanced. The citrus comes through with energy, while the overall blend remains smooth and crowd friendly, which makes it easy to wear without feeling overpowering. Compliments and recognition I have received compliments throughout the time I have owned it, sometimes when I was not even thinking about what I was wearing. Interestingly, not everyone identifies it as Versace Eros. Some people recognize it immediately, others just register it as “you smell good,” which can be a plus if you want a popular fragrance that still reads as simply attractive and clean in the air. I have also had women mention, sometimes unexpectedly, that it smelled very good on me, which reinforces how well it can work in social contexts. Versatility and best season I consider it a safe purchase and a versatile option you can wear year round. That said, it truly shined for me in summer, the citrus sweetness feels especially uplifting in warmer weather and it performs nicely as long as you do not overspray. Final take Versace Eros EDT is popular for a reason. Even though some people find it just “fine,” my experience has been consistently positive, strong performance, appealing citrus sweetness, and reliable compliments. If you want a broadly likeable fragrance that still projects confidence and gets noticed, it is a smart addition to a collection.

I'm with you positive folks... Yes, it's not a Dior or a niche. Big whoop! I've avoided reviewing this one because of the review bashing going on, but for me, this is a great loud scent for hanging out with the guys. I don't wear it for the women, I wear it for myself. I wear it when I'm confident, and maybe a little cocky. I wear it when I have absolutely zero desire to impress anyone and when I don't really care what anyone thinks. I have however received quite a few compliments on it. To me, it smells better than Le Male, as that was its competition when I bought it. I couldn't stand Le Male, but I love the note separation in Eros. The vanilla and mint are very distinct and separate, yet very well balanced by the tonka. It starts out smooth and LOUD! Then it dries down spicy and intimate while retaining good projection until it's gone. Luckily, my skin eats the vanilla-mint alive, so I tend to get more of the scent of the drydown for the duration of the fragrance, but on others' skin, it tends to remain more minty. Most days, I'll pick up Eros and give it a sniff, and it doesn't match my mood. But on the days that it does, it's the only scent that fits. Nothing else in my collection fits that mood, and although I don't wear Eros often, it has earned a home within my collection. Bottom line: Don't feel ashamed for your fragrance tastes. Cheap, expensive, doesn't matter. Wear what you like. That's the POINT of fragrances! Some of the best scents in my collection are also the cheapest, and some of my favorites are among the most "synthetic". For the love of fragrance, happy sniffing. ;-)

What was your first fragrance? Versace Eros. This is probably the most common thing I have recieved as an answer from my of my friends. Every teenage guy has had or uses Versace Eros. But can i complain about this scent? No, since it was also my first (if you not count my batman store bought). I remember in 2023 spring when i started to find fragrances, i found this one that wasnt just plain citrus. Versace Eros is a masterpiece in my opinion, people loved this fragrance when it came out and man i wish i knew about this before 2023. I guess the beauty of this fragrance is how unique it was for me in the beginning of my road for perfume shopping. I loved it and wore it with pride. I cant describe this even when i can directly sense if the person is wearing Eros or not. It has this blend of fresh and sweetness that just gets a lot of likes from me. It is a long lasting and decent projection to it. And nowadays you can find it heavily discounted in shops. For all my memories and for it being my first fragrance it definetly deserves a 10/10 in scent wise. Longevity decent 6-8 hours and a okay projection. A classic scent that every guy has had.

When it comes to Eros, I am lucky. I wasn't into colognes when it came out so I knew nothing about it until a couple of years ago, and my life doesn't involve clubbing or other scenes where I might have been over-exposed to this. All that to say I can just appreciate this scent for the scent alone without any preconceived feelings about it or thoughts about its reputation - and it's flat-out amazing.. It goes on with an invigorating citrusy minty blast that has an almost menthol-like feel but with a sweet vanilla and amber base that gives it some legs. They dry down is a delicious vanilla with a bit more wood that emerges along with lingering top notes that retain some of the lift and bright aromatics. It reminds me of the OG le Male but if someone decided to make it 10x more fun. Performance is great too. I know that for many people this one is played out, but for me it's darn near a revelation and a must-own.

I look at this bottle just about everyday when I’m looking for something to spray. I have around 100 bottles on my closet shelves. Niche, designer.....I have them all. Euros has been in my rotation for years and years. There was a point where I could smell it on everyone.....work, grocery store, and the gym. I started to cringe every time I smelled it....so I stopped wearing it. Euros, like Dylan Blue, faded through the years to the point where nobody really wore it. It ran its course. I put this away for so long that I forgot I had it. I finally gave it a wear today. Man, I forgot how good this is! Synthetic? Yes, a tad. But the dry down is addictive. Sweet vanilla/woods/oakmoss. I put this on around 6am this morning after I showered and is still going at 5:45pm while I’m writing this review. Cheers!

This is hands down the number one biggest compliment getter I have. Went out with the crew, I was wearing Imagination, buddy was wearing something else, and a third friend borrowed my eros for the night. The driver complimented the smell of eros almost immediately. He also caught a couple compliments through the night. I have had dates comment on how the smell just reels them in and love it so much. While its not my favorite profile, scent or DNA, the comments it yields is absolutely addicting and why I keep it as a staple signature scent of mine. Frag heads calling it overused only say so because they dont actually get attention from women, most of them have never smelled it before, and those who have are far and few between. Its old enough that its new again.

Some people think this is only either - for the young, for clubbing, or a one dimensional, simplistic fragrance. Well, to me it is neither of these 3 things. I am more mature in years, and I find myself reaching for Eros quite regularly and, for easy to wear, all year round (yes all year round) fragrances, I put this towards the top of my collection, a collection filled with various niche and designer scents. With a minty, zesty, fresh, uplifting opening, a lovely vanilla, light woody, yet fresh dry down and excellent performance, all at a fantastic price. What's not to like. Ignore anyone saying it's only for the young or it's a clubbing scent, this is an easy to wear, uplifting fragrance, suitable for all ages and all situations....

"banana1" just sell it, and there will be no need to spam how much you hate it anymore. No, it does not smell like sweat or anything like that. The only thing that could happen to it - after a year since the first spray the cedarwood note may become sharper, but it's not "sweat", it's just wood. Eros EDT is a minty bubblegum which then turns into vanilla cedarwood, I would gladly replace vanilla with amber, but whatever. And to those who complain about its longevity: 1) It gets better after maceration. 2) I wash my neck with cream soap (e.g. unscented Dove) about an hour before spraying Eros EDT there. Then I spray it once under each ear and it stays there for 10-11 hours. This method also helps with Paradigme EDP.

I tried this one on over at Sephora about 2 weeks ago when I went to the mall with a girl I've been seeing. When we got in my car she went on and on about how great I smelled, she asked me what I put on and I told her Versace Eros. The next week I went to pick her up for a date and she surprised me with a 3.4 oz bottle. Every time I wear it I get compliments from girls and guys. It's a great fragrance and definitely a head turner. It has crazy projection and longevity. Great for a night on the town! Versace never disappoints. EDIT* So that girl and I split it off, and she basically broke into my house to steal this back. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted lol. Can't buy it again, too many bad memories haha.

first designer fragrance ive purchased. after revisiting I realised this was way better than I remembered. to briefly describe it, it's sweet, minty and fresh. it's for younger people but it gets the job done very well. suitable for all occasions. the vanilla dry down is one of the best i have ever smelt/smelled. good enough projection for an edt. i personally have never smelt it on anyone else despite it being one of the most popular fragrances - honestly not that many people wear fragrance nowadays. this is an insanely safe blind buy if you would like this sort of minty/creamy dna. (if you're on a budget you could also consider 'Guess 1981 Los Angeles For Men' - added tobacco note). 8.5/10.

First impression: What a fun fragrance! Of the more popular men's fragrances I've gotten to try and sample, this one stands out to my nose. The open was a bit sharp, but it went away quickly. Think I was too quick to sniff, gotta give it a second to develop like a polaroid. Afterwords, we get a slightly fruity, sweet fragrance that lingers into the mid. The faint bit of vanilla in the base, along with the cedar and vetiver, create an earthy, yet gentle base upon which the citrus and floral notes sit. Versace, and perfumer Aurélien Guichard, succeeded in creating an appealing men's scent. It is youthful, sweet, and worthy of the praise it has received.

For Christmas, I got a discovery set from Versace. The only one I had ever had before was this perfume, the original Eros. Still, after so many years, I'm in love with its opening: green apple, lemon, with a hint of mint. The drydown isn't bad, but like most of the Eros line, it's not as good as the opening. It lasts longer and projects better than most of them, with the signature DNA for this line, which is clean, gym, and office in nature. Unfortunately, it's youthful. Definitely a great first fragrance for a growing man. If that opening would last for the entirety of its usage, I definitely wouldn't stop using this one.

I'm very late to the party that is Versace Eros but finally owning it i have to say it's pretty great. You get a somewhat zingy and sweet fragrance with just about the right amount of projection (not too little not too much). Eros is very versatile although i probably wouldn't use it in high-heat (i guess you could though if you go light). You get a good party-scent and an everyday wear at the same time and it's somehow a bit fresh, sweet and fruity at the same time. This is a good deal and it lasts well for me. Also the bottle, cap and atomizer are great if that matters to you. Definitely try it out if you haven't.

It might be "juvenile". It might be played out. It might be loud and obnoxious. It might be synthetic. It might be too sweet. It might kinda remind you of toothpaste or mouthwash. Or whatever. But there is no denying that this smells fantastic. And I might be pushing 40, yet I still have a big a$$ bottle in my rotation. Everytime I wear it, my mood is instantly uplifted. It just has that effect on me. It is just one of those perfumes that has a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi. It is timeless. It was popular when it came out, it is popular now and it will be popular 25 years from now. This thing is really special.

I feel a strong connection towards this fragrance as it is my first so I may be a little bit biased but I think this fragrance is one of the best for daily wear and I wear it to school everyday. This fragrance can also be good in summer for holidays or nice occasions as it is very mass appealing and inoffensive whilst also being fresh and fruity at the same time Overall, would recommend for someone trying to find a good fragrance for daily outings and work/school.

Versace Eros is one of the most well-rounded fragrances I've ever smelled. It has a fresh, sweet, and slightly minty scent that's both mass appealing and memorable. In my opinion, it's incredibly versatile—you can wear it almost anywhere and at almost any time of the year. The performance is also excellent, with strong projection and long-lasting longevity. It's one of the few fragrances that I genuinely struggle to find any flaws in.

Very overrused and overrated, however I still bought this just the other day as its a great, masculine scent which lasts all day and is good for both everyday use, and formal/party kind of events. I love the scent, great projection and longevity. By far the best eros. Conclusion: Masculine scent, good for everyday and going out, lasts all day. would recommend buying it, but its just very popular and overrused

Bought a new batch recently and smells just as I remember my old bottle (2017 I think), just a bit weaker but still a good performer. Funny story, at the start of the pandemic, I got COVID, and completely lost my sense of smell, but the one thing I could smell was Eros, out of everything and every fragrance of my collection, this was the only smell my nose could detect.

Eros is great and versatile. I’ve gotten multiple compliments for it and it lasts a few hours. Although I did get told that I smelt like a nice uber, my friends ended up liking it a lot. The only thing I don’t like is that it dries down and the sweetness almost concentrates so it becomes cloying and it also gets somewhat musky or powdery like I’m breathing dusty air.

I want to start this off by saying how much I love this scent but I dont really wear it out anymore. BELIEVE THE INFLUENCERS. This scent is the only one where I have had multiple women tell me I smell like their ex. One of them was a stranger who stopped me just to tell me that which says something about the sillage. Beautiful scent, the stigma is real. Be aware.

Definitely a fragrance that suits a younger person. Compliment getter for sure. I have gone through almost a liter of it throughout my life. The EDT is my go-to as it is sweeter and more powdery than the EDP. The EDT also seems to project more. Bit generic and very common. There have been times when a person is able to pinpoint the fragrance as I walk by them.

Smells nice. Lasts longs. Projects quite well. Affordable. Suitable for multiple types of seasons and weather. Garners compliments from coworkers, uber drives and barbers. Women are fond it in my experience, especially the vanilla dry down. Does everything I want from a fragrance. Extremely popular for a reason. That's all that needs to be said.

One of the most versatile scents of all time and arguably on the mount rushmore of fragrances. The opening is strong mint and vanilla which works incredibly and dries down to a smooth vanilla scent. I highly recommend buying this if you don't already have it (which most people already do)

One of the most versatile men's parfume ever made. And it is a very clean and good smell, can't really go wrong with it unless you are entirely against sweet smells, or dislike widely known smells which shouldn't be the reason to pick a parfume. If you like it, you can use it. 8.5/10.

What got me into fragrances. Got it as a christmas gift from my mom and the first thing I thought after smelling it was "If there is stuff that smells this good what else is out there?". Can't undermine that. It will always have sentimental value to me.

Beautiful, deep, and woodsy, this fragrance is a heavy-hitter that does not stop being iconic. Love the sharp mint that warms up to a very comforting, woody musk that feels very incense-like. A classic for a reason.

Very nice fragrance for parties and nights out. Opens up with a strong mint, juicy green apple and lemon. Dries down to a nice base of vanilla and tonka, the lemon and green apple are sensible in the dry down too.

A deep attractive scent for dates, special occasions and nightlife. A great smell for any outdoors smart affair as the notes travel cleanly on air but also provide complexity when getting closer to the wearer.

The opening is disgusting, but do not trust it. Eventually, it dries down to a creamy, woody scent that is very nice. Great for teens and an excellent party fragrance. Comfortable blind buy as well.
