Jasmin au Soleil

This is indeed one sunny jasmine! It starts fresh and strong, like a true jasmine bush, without being indolic at all. It does remind me of the white Dior Poison, but it is way better. Smells completely natural. As time passes, it loses the natural sweetness and it becomes a little green and a little soapy. On my skin the silage and lasting power are good, I don't get the complaints, and my skin eats perfume. The bottle is gorgeous, and the cap with Medusa stunning. I love it, but I will only recommend it to those who like white florals and in particular jasmine. It is almost on par with my Gelosimo Nobile, but they are different styles. Lovely, timeless, classic and elegant. Also, it is highly unlikely you will smell like the person next to you, as it has no fruits, patchouli, orange blossom, or gourmand notes which dominate today's market. This is the first Versace fragrance that I love.

Such a beautiful fresh waxy juicy honeyed lemon Jasmin fragrance, just breathtaking, but it is in the most hideous bottle! I am very mad to like this so much, because my collection is carefully curated for visual appeal but the bottle for this is laughably, horribly ugly, almost like a joke, so fake rich and gaudy! I pulled out all my other jasmines to compare, hoping I already had the bases covered so I could get this bottle out of my sight forever, but unfortunately the drydown is just so gorgeous and unique, to me it is so perfectly balanced.. an hour after testing it smells better than A La Nuit, Jasmin Moghol, Savage Jasmin, jasmine de pays, La Corte, and Shalimar Millesime (most similar to the last two, but fresher and prettier). Ugh it is perfect. Oh well, I will just have to keep it hidden, or transfer it to a bottle that doesn’t make me want to spray it directly in my eyes.

Finally, a beautiful and easy to wear jasmine that smells natural! It is more jasmine forward than California Reverie (California Reverie actually smells a bit more like acacia than jasmine), Jasmin au Soleil is solidly Jasmine. I don't find them similar at all. California Reverie smells like a cool shade of pastel green, light, airy, and fresh. Jasmin Rouge smells like dark red or maroon, rich, spiced, and dense. Jasmin au Soleil smells like pale gold, warm, full, but still somewhat airy. It smells richer and more sensual than California Reverie while being fresher but no less beautiful than Jasmin Rogue. Love love this! The bottle, however, is tacky.

was very worried about the tobacco throwing this off but i tested twice and never noticed it, in case you were worried about it too (maybe its more like a soft tobacco blossom) . it smells like a hot summer day, a very sunny, beeswaxy, jasmine . the lemon is there but fades, i noticed it is a bit “dirty” as others mentioned so maybe its there to clean things up . the hay scans as sweetgrass a to me . doesnt compare to Blonde, but it gives Vanitas a run for its money, theres still a vintage quality to jasmin au soleil . great lasting power too

as a jasmine lover and connoisseur, this is THE most realistic jasmine scent i have ever tried. i tried it in a duty free and now it’s haunting me and will be my next purchase. i simply could not stop smelling my wrist. the base has similarily to Do Son by Dyptique, so it smells like that sexy, animalic, alluring green freshness in a bed of real jasmine flowers. absolutely insane fragrance, i can’t wait to save up for a full bottle

Love this one, even though I’m not mad about Versace scents at all. Very similar to my Bvlgari Jasmine Noir in the black bottle 👌🏽 Jasmine all the way, it smells very expensive and very measured, whoever wears this scent and steps into the room will take all the breath away in a good way! Next on my list for spring 🤗

Interesting! Very unusual spicy type of jasmine. Even though I feel lots of ylang (or some tropical and sweet yellow flower) here, it’s still pretty much a jasmine scent with a beautiful and realistic jasmine tea note. So refined Jasmin smell with a little hint of dirtiness that makes it so sexy.. Definitely unisex .. Longevity +8 h Sillage within the arm length for 1st few hours then become as a skin scent.. Love it 7.8/10

Testing from a manufacturer's sample. This is a lovely scent. A crystal clear, clean, sunny jasmine, sweetened with beeswax and a great tobacco note. I've had no luck when that note was prominent in other fragrances before, only liking fragrances where it wasn't very apparent, but here it pairs wonderfully with the jasmine and honey. It is a true tobacco note, not like cigarettes or smoke, but like the floral variety grown in gardens. It's a little sweet, and unlike the tobacco in Etat Libre's Jasmin et Cigarette, is much more feminine and easier for me to wear. I also love the way the freesia adds sparkle and lift and a little soft citrus spiciness to this scent and how well it pairs with the tea, bringing to mind the spiced tea served in Middle Eastern tea houses. It really is such a pretty scent that I'm already falling in love with, but I would like to save one of the 2 samples I have to wear in the warmer weather before considering a full bottle, especially since I'm concerned with how that tobacco note will play out in the heat. If it still smells just as good, a fb might be in my future. Edit 2/8- The fates must be with me because I received a MaxAroma email alert that out of all the fragrances they have, this one was on sale, (serendipitous or scary?!😱), and I was able to use my MaxAroma rewards points too! I got a 100ml for a steal of a price. I know I wanted to wait to see how that one, normally problematic note plays out before fully committing, but even if this doesn't smell as great in the summer, I'll just keep it for cold weather wear. Besides, there is no way, no how, I was ever going to find a better deal than that - so I snatched it up. Oh, Lucky Me! 😊 Edit 4/14 - It is almost 80 degrees today and this smells even more beautiful in the heat than it does in cooler weather. I sprayed with abandon this morning and that tobacco note really came out. Contrary to what I feared, it wears very feminine and adds so much complexity to this scent. Not to mention, I can still smell it and this fragrance clearly even in the late afternoon though it is a little softer. Still, that is phenomenal! With all these fantastic attributes, I now love this even more than I did before. I am so glad I got a big bottle of this.

Enchanting jasmine scent coming from a person that heavely dislikes white florals, it has that honeyed waxy aspect to it so it's not just marketing when it says beeswax in the notes, it garners lots of compliments as well, only downside is it didn't last that long and given the price i find it absurd.

This smells wonderful!! It smells like a Schersminbuske (Swedish), i think it’s called Syringa or Mock Orange in english. If you want to smell beautiful you should try this perfume.

A very nice, natural jasmine. That said, I'm not sure if it justifies the price.

Jasmin and coconut butter .Warm and yummy.

Jasmin au Soleil Versace is a beautiful fragrance for true jasmine lovers, especially in spring. On my skin it comes across as a very green jasmine, like a freshly picked blossom with its leaves still attached. Very natural, but somewhat linear to my nose. I miss a bit more depth, waxy nuances, or soft woody warmth to round it out. Longevity is moderate.

I hate this. There is a note in here that is really unpleasant. I've tried to gift it to 2 relatives but they also disliked it. The sillage and longevity are really good... unfortunately. It remains pretty strong at the 5 hour mark. I did not sample it before buying a full bottle so that was my mistake. Please sample this [on your skin] first before buying!! Update: Yea, 3+ months later and it is still awful

the opening to me was harsh! Such a grandma floral vibe (in my opinion) however the dry down seems to have mellowed out a little. Was hoping for a slightly more sweeter beeswax note but I blind bought this and I do tend to lean towards more oriental floral / gourmand scents. I wouldn’t rush to wear this again, I’ll probably gift it to someone. It’s not offence to smell on someone else but I’m not enjoying this one bit for myself. Can definitely smell the hay, I don’t even know why I ordered this now I’ve got it and I’ve re seen the notes. If you’re into layering it could be a nice earthy base for something else. Anyway, it appears I have a spending / ordering issue when it comes to fragrances that I need to reconsider🙃

A moderately sweet, naturalistic, and narcotic jasmine paired with honeyed waxiness and just a tiny hint of citrus. Pretty worn on its own, but makes a fabulous combo layered on top of incense perfuems in my collection, specifically Premier Matiere's Encens Suave and Diptyque's L'Eau Trois

A very delightful and lovely Jasmin Soliflore. A good replacement for the discontinued Grand Bal of Dior.
