Versace Pour Femme Dylan Blue

I fell head over heels for this one! Versace has quite a few perfumes that I love, but this one is my favorite so far. I find myself reaching for it pretty much every day since I got it, and I got at least 25 different perfumes in my collection. I wouldn't say it's a shampoo fragrance. It's more like a heavenly combination of all things clean, fresh and soft. Imagine you treat yourself with a home spa night with luxurious salon/spa products – shampoo, hair mask, bubble bath, shower gel, body lotion... Then you light your favorite scented candles and make a burrito out of yourself and your fluffy down duvet in your bed with cool, soft, clean bed linen. That feeling, in a bottle. It's not the most unique, crazy interesting perfume, but it's crazy good in my opinion! I smell it on my shirt two days after I sprayed it and it still makes me wanna tape the shirt to my nose or something. It's addictive. And even if it's not one of those wild, unique niche perfumes, I can't think of another perfume that Dylan Blue reminds me of. About the bottle, I like the blue and gold, I think that royal color combo makes sense for this fragrance. The shape is very Versace, especially the lid being as big as the bottle itself – very extra. I would prefer something more minimalistic that I could take with me on a trip without having to bring a second suitcase because of the gigantic lid on my perfume bottle. But again, it's Versace so I accept the ridiculous lid. I think that, like a lot of Versace perfumes, this is a really nice, good quality but still affordable perfume. Longevity is good on my skin, great on clothes. I love Dylan Blue and I'm gonna need another bottle.

Instant love for me. I never even heard of this fragrance but the old fashioned beautiful blue bottle caught my attention. Dylan blue was love at first sniff. So fresh and fruity at first like green apples and peaches with some warm carnal distinct white flower ,could be Jasmin or clover , extremely pleasant and fresh , slightly grassy and green. I can relate very much to all the shampoo comments ,I would agree it’s very shampoo like which is probably one aspect of it that I love so much. Fragrances that smell like shower gels , creams or shampoos are generally my kind of perfumes . Dylan blue has much more than just a shampoo smell though. First of all it’s very amazing quality and smells forever as it also has a very classy vibe to it due to the styrax,rose and the forget me nots . Dylan blue femme has a fruity green vibe ,it has charm and Sophistication ,it smells fresh and warm and super expensive. It is pure class and elegance. It could be very unisex as well. Love love, love , top shelf ! It reminds me of DK be delicious, green apple fragrance but this one has more elegance and charm and warmth , it’s very well put together . The bottle suits it perfect in my opinion.

I bought tester size at first and it became love at first spray. The scent took me back to old Amway scrub body wash when I was little (dry down) Smells so expensive and sophisticated. A woman with elegance and great EQ and IQ wears this. She's wearing pretty makeup, not too much not too little, she's put together, she's sweet yet professional and humble and she smiles a lot. She's admired by people who saw her, especially when she begans to talk. You know right away this woman is different, so smart, so intelligent yet kind and friendly and humble. She's feminine, maybe a bit conventional but also modern. She has standard, knows what she wants and respects herself. She knows when and how to draw boundaries. She's kind but you don't wanna mess with her coz of her intelligence. That's the kind of woman who wears this. Woman, not girl. The type that CEOs would marry. Ahhh I wish I do this perfume a justice. It's so elegant I'm not sure if I'm elegant enough to wear it. I sometimes layer with Montblanc Signature. I can faintly get a whiff of her on me after 4 hours then it's gone. Not sure if ppl smell me... (3 sprays of DB, 3 sprays of MBS)

Reviewing for other men who wear this too. I started off with the pour homme version of Dylan blue. Tried this a few years after it came out and I still love it. It’s the only fragrance I own where both the pour homme and pour femme have striking similarities which is rare. Can’t say the same for Eros. Not as exquisite as the men’s version but a unique masterpiece in its own right. It smells like a “mythical lush rainforest.” The bottle very much matches the scent profile. When I spray the pour femme version I just feel so clean! Sometimes I don’t like male fragrances that are too “musky” when wanting to be clean. This smell is very very very soothing. I strongly recommended to anyone who uses aromatherapy. This stuff is strong!! You can smell it on yourself even after the top notes fade. This was only reformulated once which is surprising. Same exact scent just a tad bit weaker. Spray a bit more then usual and you’re golden 👌🏻. For a woman this is a safe blind but as a gift. For sure. It takes the right man with a certain personality to wear this. If you're a guy, try before buying.

I am a perfume collector, and what I mean is that I collect many perfumes that I cant wear but adore. My skin "eats" perfume within two hours of being applied, no matter what I do. Very few can withstand my chemistry and this perfume is one of them. I first tested two days ago. Upon first spray, I could smell the Granny Smith Apple, Black Currant and Rose hip. I can see where some might confuse this fragrance for a cheap shampoo but it is far from this comparison. Dylan is 90's in its glory. A little wild, daring and yet powerful. Once the heart notes came around, the granny smith apple stayed put but the rose, jasmine and wood notes came through. This is where it stayed until the next day, early 13 hours later. I did receive many compliments and my husband was all over me. While it may not be a game changer, it will bring you back to an era where you found yourself doing the Macarena in public, tripping over pogs, watching reruns of 90210 while eating Dunkaroo's.

Classy, clean, easygoing, approachable, unpretentious. This to me is the best perfume Versace has out currently. It’s really balanced, enjoyable, versatile, and not cloying or too mature. It has a green stemmy sharpness that I don't smell in other women's perfumes with great performance and longevity. I’d suggest 5 sprays if you want it to last all day. For the woman or girl who is cool and confident enough to smell interesting, clean, and fresh without trying to be alluring or seductive. It’s also not too tweenish or sweet. It’s restrained and polite, and causes others to lean closer. I love it on my wife. It might be my favorite scent on her. I combined a bit of it in a .5 oz. bottle of Bowling Green and I use it as my bedtime scent. It’s the only women’s perfume I’d actually buy for myself, and yes I’m a little jealous of my wife’s bottle I bought her. I’ll probably buy a mini for my scent library. If I were a woman this would be my signature scent. 10/10

I had been looking for a more sophisticated apple shampoo type of scent for forever, and apparently this one had been right under my nose all along. I don't know why I had avoided trying this before, (maybe the listed patchouli note [which is undetectable for me btw,] or maybe because I didn't like one of the other Dylans?), but this is exactly what I was looking for: clean, modestly fruity, crisp, and creamy at the same time. The green apple isn't too sharp and doesn't scream synthetic; it smells like the skin of a granny smith apple. Clean, but still with depth behind it. The dry down is still fresh but also very smooth on me, almost milky, more like conditioner than shampoo. There's nothing I hate more in a perfume than a stale smelling dry down, and this one has the opposite of that. It smells fantastic the next day on my clothes. This is a reliable fave for me.

Dylan Blue is actually quite a J'adore by Dior. Just there are fruity notes here in the top notes. Then it comes richness of flowers. It is more developing and more complex. Really fun to see how from fruity scent it jumps into J'adore and keeps by hours. This is a classic type of scent suitable for some nice occasions, including celebrations. I would not dare to say that it is a usual, every day scent like you can jog in that scent or throw out a pack of garbage. This scent deserves good attitude and respect..its worth it! P.S: I have no idea why some people describe this scent like soap, shampoo or detergent. Maybe it depends on body chemistry. On me this fragrance is really one of versions by J'adore that could exist, but for more affordable price. My bottle of J'adore by Dior finishes and I will not repurchase it because now I have Dylan blue.

honestly shocked that the top note was Granny Smith Apple LOL, I never really expected it. definitely on the fruity/fresh side, which is perfect for those who love having a carefree yet sweet scent. I really like how it smells amazingly fresh when first sprayed on the skin, then dries down to a more fruity smell. i bought this before but I believe in the men's version, I forgot how that smelt...but! i got gifted the pour femme version and I REALLY love it :O it smells really good and it's actually my signature scent at the moment! very timeless, unique, and overall a very beautiful scent. i get lots of compliments on it and I think it does a great job of balancing fruity & fresh. versace kinda ate with this one ngl

I absolutely love this perfume. The opening is sweet, fruity and airy enough to where it's not cloying and the dry down is more deep and musky but still smells good. However, I will say that this falls short for me in terms of longevity, it lasts about 2 hours on my skin, AT MOST, and afterwards it smells as though I never had any perfume on to begin with, there's not a trace of it left behind. I've found it also clings to clothes better than skin, however even then it disappears quite faster than some of the other perfumes I have that cling to clothing for days on end. I wouldn't repurchase this, it's honestly not worth what you get and there are definitely better fresh & fruity scents out there that last longer.

Smells sexy asf but in like a professional way if that makes sense. My go-to for more formal events but also for the clurb, she’s very versatile. Kind of smells like a bubble bath but it’s sooooo good fruity yummy YAY. I love the musky/woody base notes you start to smell after you’ve been wearing it awhile it’s a very fresh scent and it’s not too overwhelming in my opinion. I always get compliments when I wear it but even if I didn’t idgaf I love her she’s goated. It can be hard to find a floral scent that isn’t overwhelmingly sweet at times but I think Dylan Blue is just perfect, not too sweet at all. Layers rlly well w/ Egyptian musk balm it’s totally fire

Bright juicy apples with a currant touch and some synthetic floral tones. It does smell like shampoo which I loveeee 🥰, if you want a saltier version go for Dylan Turquoise, if you want a creamier one go with Dylan Purple, this is definitely a familiar scent when you smell it first time but it does it so perfectly well; it projects a lot- I can feel a nice scent bubble around me and it also lasts well, I wore this at night once and I could smell it until next day, if sprayed on clothes it's even stronger. If you're looking for a freshie that smells shampooey this is an amazing choice. I adore this scent! Versace forever 🥸

I’m honestly so over heavy florals and overly fruity perfumes... but this one is something else. It smells like you’ve just stepped out of the most luxurious shower not basic soapy clean, but those elegant, expensive bath gels. It’s clean, feminine, and somehow extra alluring at the same time. The apple note is there, but it’s soft and perfectly blended nothing sharp or annoying. Everything feels so smooth and balanced that you can’t even pick out a single harsh note. It’s just pure harmony... and it smells like effortless beauty. 🌸

I instantly fell in love with this one when I first experienced it in a shop, and I bought it without thinking twice. Then I read the reviews, and people have commented that this smells like soap and shampoo. So what, some perfumes are just like marshmallows. No matter what, I really like this clean, fresh scent. But unfortunately, this lasts only 2-3 hours on my skin. When it is sunny and windy just 30 minutes. This is ideal for rainy days in spring. It just feels right and lasts 3-4 hours.

I blind bought this as I needed a summer scent and I'm very happy, I bought it for a great price, the bottle and packaging is luxurious. Now the fragrance it self. It's a fancy green (not red!) apple shampoo out-of-shower kind of scent. I get some of the wood, rose and jasmine too. The rest is blurry. Gorgeous simple, inoffensive and professional smell. It lasts a decent amount of time, endurance could be better, however I don't regret buying it at all. Love it.

Such a classy perfume !!! When sprayed on it gives off a soapy, shampoo scent. Hang in there, it subsides quickly and then you get a really pleasant scent of green apple with a hint of jasmine. This is how it was on my skin. It stays on for a long time unveiling more notes and is also suitable for all kinds of weather. This perfume is really pleasant and it screams class !!! Test it on your skin and go for it if it works out. A unique scent to be owned.

Pretty, floral, sweet, lovely, pleasant, soapy, fresh, uplifting. It’s a love for me. Perfect for anytime anywhere. I feel beautiful and feminine. I applied generously to shirt and upper body. I didn’t go nose blind which is a very good sign. I think this is much closer to jadore in the dry down and more close to Ralph in the opening. Lasts 6+ hours. Today’s warm weather and nice breeze allow me to notice this fragrance easily. glad I kept my bottle.

So many people say this smells like shampoo, as if it's a bad thing. YES! this smells like shampoo! and it's great!! Nivea just came out with a perfume that's supposed to embody the scent of their iconic lotions. Why is it such a crime to have a fragrance smell like your favorite fruity shampoo? I think it's great. Beautiful bottle, beautiful crisp sweet fragrance, think of it as an updated version of DKNY Be Delicious, housed in decadence.

Okay so I am a sweet and gourmand fragrance lover, so this isn't something I'd reach for on paper, BUT it's sooo nice! I was gifted this and I was so pleasantly surprised. It's so pretty, not that sweet but something a female CEO would wear lol. It's pretty, and I personally think it's unique, I haven't really smelt anything like this before (but maybe I'm wrong!). I definitely think is a beautiful fragrance.

I loved this fragrance at first wiff, tested it at a store, got home still loving the smell, bought it online, there was something familiar about it and i could not quite put my finger on it. today finally i got it, its the ambroxan, even though its not listed here, it felt familiar because i love juliette has a gun not a perfume, Dylan Blue has a little of that, but brighter, more open, sweet and fresh.

I was not too much of a fan of this when sprayed on the test paper because it smelled musky and heavy but one my skin? I love it! It smells bright and fresh, I definitely get the currant and rose notes while the musk is just a bit of a velvety backdrop. It smells like I am supposed to be standing on a villa deck by the Mediterranean. It smells like summer heat while you stand in the shade. I love it. :)

I've never thought of this perfume as something that even remotely smells like a shampoo. I love it so so much, maybe because it's extremely nostalgic for me. I will always love it even though I don't wear it nowadays. It smells like a carefree summer afternoon with fresh wind blowing through your hair. This perfume doesn't even have the notes I'd usually go for but it's so beautiful to me.

I love this! Dylan Blue is a feminine fruity floral that makes me feel pretty. This is not a fruit bomb, it's too well blended with floral and deeper grounding notes. That's what makes DB so interesting (to me). It's a freshy but with depth. I think the depth makes this fragrance more versatile in that I can wear this in the fall and early winter

a classy and clean fruity scent but not cloying! It has a depth I would expect from Versace. I chose it over dylan turquoise because i found it a little more mature and spicy. upon my skin it’s rather citrussy which i did not expect bc it’s elusive and fresh on clothing i love it a lot but my mom dislikes it so i don't wear it as much.

A very misleding bottle design. The perfume is much more carefree and joyful than the serious looking bottle. Fruity laundry-ish apple centred floral. (Can describe it as shampoo too)I do smell a bit of peach but not any realistic black currant. Sweet, clean, with a bit of rose and musk.

Oh my, I didn't expect that I'd like this this much! My current signature is Versace Bright Crystal Absolu and I feel like this is very similar to it but just more clean? Idk, this just might surpass it as my new signature 😱 I wish it was just a bit stronger and long lasting though!

Smells like a fruity floral garden in the summer. It’s nostalgic to me, but also bright and energizing at the same time. There’s a soapy quality that gives it some fluidity and movement if that makes sense. The only downside is it becomes very weak after about four hours.

flowery fruity (sweet+sour) floral scent that smells cottony, but not to stuffy or powdery. you could wear this in pretty much any occasion, but it definitely suits brighter atmospheres the best. the first scent i ever fell in love with. 9.5/10 i adore her

This smells like you just left the most expensive salon in the city, now you have a chic fresh haircut and feel amazing! It’s definitely a fresh/clean girl vibe but not in a bad way, I’m a gourmand girl but I love this! Very expensive shampoo/shower vibe.

I got a sample of this and loved it so much I bought the full size on Fragrancenet. I really love it - I can't stop smelling myself when I wear it. Definitely fruity but lasts for hours on me - i could still catch whiffs of it on my wrists 6+ hours later.

I really like Dylan Blue, the fresh scent of a freshly cut apple predominates on my skin, very fruity and clean, however it lasts so little it's a shame. Still I love it and it is not expensive, so it is ok, I can spare more spraying throughout the day.

This is a fresh clean white shirt fragrance which will be great in the spring summer seasons. Perfect for days when I want to smell different from the rest. Great longevity and moderate sillage. Very pleasant for every occasion. Absolutely love it!

I love this because it's super wearable. It doesn't have lasting power though. A couple of hours and it's gone. Soapy and nice while it lasts though. I wear this while going to the shops, walking my dog etc

Smells EXACTLY like the shampoo when I get my hair washed at the salon! Which is one of my favourite smells, to be fair. Very fruity without being overly sweet. Extremely juicy and refreshing smell.

Green apple, fresh, shampoo fragrance. Somehow has a luminous type quality in the mid and drydown. First designer scent I've found that I actually enjoy wearing.

My go to summer perfume even when I don’t want to put on any.

This perfume is a classic example of why you can't take every review you read to heart. I did my homework with this. I researched and read every review that I could find and they were decidedly mixed which made me nervous to do a blind buy on a full bottle (even though some of my favourite YouTube reviewers seemed to really like it, making me think that I'd like it too.) So I decided to order a sample, just incase I didn't like it. That way, it would be cost effective and no great loss if it was a big negative for me. Many of the reviews had stated that it "smelled generic and was nothing special" and that it had a "shampoo vibe" to it. That's what I was bracing myself for. Upon first spray, the first thing I notice is a white flower, jasmine! I haven't had the best of luck with jasmine in fragrances in the past (I'm lookin' at you Bvlgari Jasmin Noir!) but the jasmine here is soft, rounded, creamy, even-tempered and non-screechy. It's surprisingly lovely and I knew right away that I wasn't going to have a problem with it. That was really the only note that I could specifically pick out. That's because this concoction is smooth and so well blended. A little sweet and a little flowery. I let it dry down and I can honestly say that it's just beautiful. Pleasant, non-offensive, non-headache inducing, on the lighter side, fresh and clean! Yes, it does indeed have a shampoo-like quality but that's one of the things that I love so much about it because they've done it so well here. It does not smell cheap or dated, to the contrary, it smells like the most expensive, luxurious, creamy shampoo that you've ever had the pleasure of smelling. It smells like pure class, modern, light-hearted and playful. A younger person, a middle aged person or an older person could easily pull this off. Suited for all! Generic? Maybe, but in the absolute best way possible! Perfect for those days when you can't make up your mind on what to grab for. A sure-fire crowd pleaser! I find it to be a comforting scent and the deeper I get into the day, the more I enjoy catching whiffs of it. Office friendly and seems to be more of a daytime perfume but I wear whatever I like, whenever I like, to wherever I like. I never follow follow any rules! Needless to say, I love it. The day after the first time I wore it, I ordered myself a full bottle. Don't let reviews rule your fragrance choices. Search out samples or decants and try them for yourself. That's the only way that you're ever going to really know for sure if it's a "yes please" or a "no thank-you."

The first few times I tried this, I could barely smell it. It just smelled like perfume. This was a couple of years ago, and due to my ongoing obsession with parfums, my nose has learned to pick up on certain notes, which has helped me figure out notes I like. I recently found a sample of this in my travel parfum. Dylan Blue was much more distinct to my nose. This is not a linear frangrance, but it’s also not a fragrance that stands out. It’s a fragrance that has a nice cooling sensation on hot days. I hate saying this because everyone loves to use the term “it’s super fresh, like you just got out of the shower”. I do not agree. I think of a fresh fragrance, similar to the original Febreeze. No citrus, heavy musks, sweetness, or fruit. Just light florals, and aquatic accords. First of all, I don’t think of shampoo when wearing this. Upon first spritz, I get a blast of musk. Within a few minutes, I get green apple and black currant, maybe some peach. The green apple is the dominant note, though. I don’t think it’s that fruity to be considered a fruity floral. There’s fruit, but it’s more mature than fruity body sprays. As the fruits fade a little, I start to smell a soapy rose, with musk. This is what I liked most. At the end, it’s very sweet. Not gourmand, but like super sweet flowers. My husband found a good deal on a 3.4 oz bottle, so I’ve been enjoying it. It lasts about 6 hours from start to nothing detectable. I spray a good bit on. It last longer on cloths. It’s a softer fragrance, but with good projection and silage. It’s nothing extraordinary, which I find most summer fragrances aren’t, but this is a great summer fragrance that’s perfect for a summer fragrance for lunch with a friend, beach restaurant for dinner, or a summer date night. It has good value if you don’t buy from Sephora. Overall, it’s a pretty summer fragrance without smelling like coconuts and a sunscreen. I would recommend.

I got a sample vial of Dylan Blue in a perfume order and saw it had black current which is in many of my favorite fragrances so I had high hopes it would be great on me as my go-to fragrances have been discontinued. A little goes a looking way for me. It's a very strong almost overpowering scent with just one little spritz on my arm. My skin really seems to amp up citruses and it had a very strong green citrus scent for me initially that I thought was lime. I now see after looking up the notes that I'm smelling the green apple. After a few moments, the overpowering initial (to me) citrus scent pulls back a little and oh yes I'm getting the juicy bright green apple and something fruity sweet that must be the peach. I'm a little disappointed the black current isn't in the forefront but there is something deep and darker in the peach note that I think is the black current and patchouli. After an hour, the strong tart green apple scent fades and the florals come out, and then it turns into a lovely not-too-sweet fruity desert that is creamy and, for me, like tart granny smith apples and slightly unripe tart peaches in cream sauce with a little golden honey that must be the clover and a hint of something like bright, floral gin or vodka. It's really nice. Later, it's an dry musky light wood with still a little hint of jasmine and peach. The tart apple is gone and the darker deeper black current comes to the forefront and the honey clover scent is stronger. My skin seems to sweeten and deepen woods and citrus and Dylan Blue is doing the same thing on me and I'm really enjoying it. It's cold dry winter day right now and I'm looking forward to trying Dylan Blue in the spring.

I don't know why this is marketed as "sensuous" because for me it's not that at all (very nice though). I've heard others describe it as loud and glamorous and I don't get that either. It reminds me of those summer mornings when it's fresh and cool but you know it's going to be hot later. The fruit is crisp rather than cloying and I feel that the flowers fill in the gaps. I can see why some people think it smells like shampoo, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I wore Tommy Girl as a teenager and I think this shares the sunlit feel of that (both are from Calice Becker). I find it fairly quiet and slightly fleeting (I could still smell it after a day but had to get my nose very close to my wrist). My bottle is a miniature though (how cute are those Versace minis? Perfume for dolls' houses!) so I'd dabbed it on rather than spraying. I think this would be great for a teenager (possibly not for me - if I was after this type of fragrance again I'd go back to the aforementioned Tommy Girl, and I had some bad news the first time I wore this so my judgement may be clouded) or someone who likes their fragrances fresh and pretty. The bottle is all wrong for it though - the deep colour and marketing risks putting off people who like fresh and pretty (I know we should look past the packaging, but still...).

Ah, Dylan Blue, what should I really think of you? My relationship with this fragrance begun late last summer, when I went on a longer trip. The only thing I managed to forget to pack was, strangely enough, a fragrance. So I sniffed a few in the tax free shop on the way to my destination. I decided to grab Dylan Blue. It smelled decently good, the price was agreeable and I was in a hurry. The thing is, I like this perfume, but it's also kinda all over the place. A lot happening at once. On me it has a shampooey opening with a lot of fruitiness. Apple, blackcurrant and peach along with a bunch of seemingly random floral notes. The dry down is a tad bit harsh on my skin with a prominent hint of woodiness. It also smells very Versace. The first thing my mother said to me when I wore the scent in her company was: "You've bought another Versace perfume, haven't you?" And, she was right. It has more than a few things in common with scents like Red Jeans and yellow diamond, even if they are completely different fragrances. There's some kind of Versace DNA in there. Over all, I like Dylan Blue. It's agreeable on my skin, but also a bit all over the place. Like if you sprayed two or three quite generic fragrances on top of each other. The result is both appealing and bit confusing.

This is an elegant fragrance, suited for a woman who knows what she wants. It’s not particularly innovative, but it delivers very well on what it sets out to do. It’s clearly fruity and sweet, without crossing into gourmand territory. Notes of peach, apple, and black currant are very noticeable, resting on a soft musky base that adds a clean and smooth feel. In the background, there’s a very subtle woody touch. Longevity is quite good, around 9 hours on clothes or even more. For the first 5 hours, the projection is moderate, then it gradually becomes more intimate while still remaining noticeable. There’s a refined “expensive shampoo” vibe to it—clean, polished, and pleasant, which actually works in its favor. It’s one of those easy-to-like fragrances: elegant, versatile, and very feminine. It works perfectly for everyday wear, including office settings, but also transitions well into a night out. It’s elegant without being too serious, sweet without being heavy, and versatile enough for any occasion and any season.
