Versace Pour Femme

I am a big fan of this House, and each and every one of their fragrances has a place in my perfumed heart! When I first saw Versace Signature (aka Versace Pour Homme) on a discount site, the notes for THIS were listed, and of course I ordered a sample. What came was very nice, indeed; but not this. I was curious how all these wonderful florals would work in a man's scent. They wouldn't...this is feminine class and style in a sheer and modern framework. Upon sniffing this in a vial, I was enchanted. After applying it to my skin, I am enthralled! This has just enough fruitiness in the top to be "juicy" but not sticky sweet. Dark currants dance with creamy tropical guava and creates something tart and succulent. Wisteria whispers of the heavenly flowers to follow and white lilacs give a springlike feel to the whole composition, dripping with the dew. Even at the peak of the heart, the floral choir never gets too "loud" as transparent "angel wing" jasmine serenades playfully, and azaleas fill out the song. Orchid has her solo, but blends nicely with the other "ladies" as lotus spreads her petals wide to embrace them all. Donatella has met (and exceeded) my expectations from the description above: a modern and sheer floral perfume with a classic feel! As it begins to dry, a vetiver breeze blows us into a woody clearing of moroccan cedar and cashmere wood with just a hint of very sexy musk, surrounded by a flowery aura. She is playful and sexy, but has her feet firmly on the ground and her eyes on the prize. She knows she is beautiful but calls no attention to it; it just shines! She is balanced, she is amazing, she is Spring greeting Summer... Sillage: very good Longevity: above average Overall: 4.5/5 I love Versace Pour Homme (2008) and he is a fitting consort to this lovely creature. I had a mentor who said (without a hint of hidden sarcasm) that "Women have ALL the power." This echoes that sentiment to a Tee!! VPH is great, but this-this IS just gorgeous...

i wore this in the late 2000s for about 3 years straight. repurchased three times. that means i really liked it. it’s an unusual floral combination. it’s bordering on being aquatic. it has a wetness about it. it’s kind of dreamy. i got many complements on this. it had good lasting power. i feel it’s a spring and summer scent. can be worn day or night. i wore it when i was going out mostly. so it sat or stood with me while waiting for a table at a restaurant or a concert. that was mostly when strangers complimented me. one friend of my great uncle’s whom i only saw me once or twice a year, if that, came and sat next to me, so she could smell my perfume! she said she hasnt smelled me for so long and liked my perfume. this is probably my favorite versace perfume. it’s got a freshness about it. the guava is juicy in this. it is a work of art. i recently got a bottle and im too scared to spray it. i hope it hasnt been changed. ive become weary of smelling perfumes i used to love, because theyve changed so many. the lasting power of the older creations is usually gone, the stages and delicacy and their uniqueness is usually gone. i know it’s just perfume, but to me perfume is everything. more important to me, am i really saying this, than even shoes. if i have to leave the house in a hurry, perfume is the one thing i do. wash face, brush teeth, pile hair on top with a claw, perfume, and out. no makeup, no look in the long mirror, no care about how i look. it’s how i smell that’s most important to me. please please please let it be the same one i knew. and not labotonized . of course, there’s also the fact that it is old and even a new one still wrapped, may have lost some or all notes.

Versace Versace is a young and effervescent fragrance, which is youthful and bubbly without smelling too synthetic or sweet. It smells like a white floral to me with fruity accords. It's very fresh, and there's something in this that can make it a bit cold, but once it settles on the skin it dries down to a warmer floral scent. The musk in this is very light but it's just the right amount to keep it from being too sharp. It's very luxurious, and I think it's young without being a sickly-sweet gourmande. I think any woman in her 20-30's could wear this. I'm only 16 but I tend to like the more "mature" scents for my age (basically meaning I don't like Juicy Couture), but I've worn this many times and my friends says it smells great, not old at all. This perfume lasts a good amount of time and it only smells better given time to develop. This goes with my skin chemistry perfectly, but I find if I spray it on my hair it doesn't develop that warm base and can become cloying. I also have to be careful not to use too much, as it's reasonably strong and can become a bit overbearing. Overall I really like this decadent perfume, it has a very luxurious and glamorous feel to it, reminding me of 70's hollywood movies where the youthful, glowing actresses had long blonde bouncy hair and were very whimsical, but at the same time had that touch of sexiness. I get that exact feeling from the print ad too! I think this is a daytime fragrance but it could easily be used at night. Overall - 8/10

I hate myself for skipping this lovely feminine floral for such a long time,there was a tester bottle of this for couple of years in a department store I used to pass weekly but I never stopped by to give it a try At last,I received a free sample of it when I bought other perfumes My favorite perfume genre is oriental floral or oriental vanilla durind cold months and florals in spring and summer,so obviously I'm a floral girl,I'm into white florals(magnolia,lily,gardeni,...),roses,and some soft powdery violet florals(heliotrope,lilac,wisteria,...) Versace vasace pour femme is a lovely modern floral,this floral bouquet consists of lilac,wisteria,Jasmine,orchid,lotus..some fruit notes(guaca),not so dominant to my nose but adds a unique twist to floral combination and some musk and woods as base notes..florals are bright,subtle,soft and delicately sweet..very pretty,simple,feminine and elegant,smells like pure spring and as in you are sorrunded in a small garden full of radiant flowers..as someone said in previous reviews flowers are fresh,also warmed by sunlight,thanks to the warm,musky,cashmer base Versace pour femme is a youthful floral scent,for young,elegant ladies,it's really longlasting on my skin and has a good projection without being overwhelming.it can be a far cousin of Guerlain idylle,but less sharp,not smelling the same,the same feeling of smelling a huge flower bouquet If you're into floral scents and especially like lilac,don't miss this one ❤❤❤❤

Wow, i'm excited! Another perfume to bring up a wonderful memory! Its warm and sunny. I'm about 15, laying in the grass without a blanket, feeling the prickle if grass on my arms and legs. The stream is gurgling over rocks near by and when the breeze blows it is cool and damp. I brought my horse up on his long lead and i can hear him cropping grass and i hear his soft, snuffling breath as he eats. I feel his hoves on the ground and every once in a while he touches me with his velvet nose. My mother has the largest lilac bushes i have ever seen to this day. They were like small trees. And, as i was laying on the grass that day with the sun bright on my closed eyelids, i inhaled the scent of lilacs. Lilac is one of my favorite scents because if those glorious lilacs my mother had. Versace by Versace is a very strong lilac scent to me, but for me it is the strong, green, almost spicy scent if the real flower. When i smell it on my skin it is as if i'm sticking my nose right into a live flower. I love it! I also detect a mild berry fruitiness and light wood, which only intensified the memory for me since my parent's house is in a forest of maple and cedar trees and she has blue, black and raspberries as well as fruit trees. Its a very true scent to me, very real, no synthetic, cheap or chemical components as i get from many perfumes for some reason. It remains potent and bright on my skin with out being overpowering or souring. It is ranked in my top two!

I love this fragrance...vibrant, FRESH and ELEGANT are the words to describe this floral treasure. I sprayed myself in the office and I got positive comments from colleages stationed around my desk. Its a fragrance that I can take from morning to evening. What's good is I don't have to spray much. With its moderate sillage everyone will surely notice how AMAZING you smell. How I love this creation from Versace especially that my most adored Nymphaea has a strong presence in this composition at least on my skin. Lasts more than 7 hours on me which is a real plus when selecting a perfume. It just saddens me that the local parfumerie does not carry this anymore. My first thought on sniffing Versace in its bottle (which is simple, elegant and classy) was that it was very floral and very nice but not necessarily something that would be my kind of scent and that it would maybe suit a more mature woman than me (even though I'm not exactly a teenager myself!). The main note that I smelled was the lilac, and luckily I do love the smell of lilac so that was fine. Like some of the other reviewers though, I did get a bit of a deja-vu feeling because of its floral-ness and in some ways I felt it was reminiscent of scents like Anais Anais and Blanc by S T Dupont. When I spritzed it on though it took on a different dimension. It became sparkling and fresher to me, clean and slightly soapy, and younger smelling! The guava started to make its presence known, although it was still predominantly floral but in its own unique and lovely way. The lilac is just gorgeous! I really like this scent. It's very lovely - light, fresh, clean and sparkly. It smells on the surface quite demure and coy but underneath there's a little warm sexiness sizzling away! The staying power's not bad and it lasts for over 12 hours on me but fades quite a bit. I still get little whiffs of it when I move around though. Versace is a great perfume and I'm so happy to have it in my perfume collection, thanks to my swap with Milkyway! This is a definite 5 out of 5 from me!

This beautiful and elegant perfume always makes me feel special, pretty and chic. Everything about this perfume is classy from the simple but elegant golden bottle to the alluring and graceful floral bouquet, which is not overdone or overpowering. The combination of tropical fruits and floral notes is done just right. It is bright, pleasant to wear, harmonious and attractive. It is like a magical formula that captures the sunshine and happiness of the spring. It makes me smile and think about happy things in life. The composition masterfully includes the notes of melon and guava, which make this perfume warm and slightly sweet but not overly sugary. The fruits are balanced well by the cool accords of the fresh lilacs in the beginning. As the time progresses the scent evolves into a bright bouquet of lilacs, jasmine and orchids. I love how this perfume reveals different sides when I wear it. Sometimes I feel strong orchids and sometimes I catch waves of jasmine. The scent does not have a complex development pattern. It basically stays floral but in the base note I also smell a bit of woody notes. The lasting power is at least 7 hours. The sillage is just perfect – noticeable but not suffocating or allergy inducing like in many other floral scents. Overall score is 8.5/10. I love wearing this perfume and it is one of my favorite spring scents for a daytime.

For some reason, I feel that Versace EDP is a great twin sister to Michael Kors EDP for half the price. Versace EDP is a beautiful pure floral fragrance without any sweet undertone, at least to my nose that is :-) I do not smell guava or orchid, to me, Versace EDP is all about jasmin on a lovely soft woodsy base. I was a little bit sceptical regarding lasting power and silage, but even though I couldn't smell it on myself much after 5 hours, I got great compliments on it while at the workplace, about lunchtime. (I applied it at 07:00 in the morning) As I finished work and was walking to the car park at 16:00, I got lovely wafts assuring me that the fragrance was still there after nearly all day at work. In my opinion, Versace would appeal to crispy floral lovers. The fragrance is certainly memorable and elegant. If Michael Kors'es EDP price tag makes your heart palpitate, grab yourself a bottle of Versace EDP; you might be lucky to buy it for less than half the price of MK EDP. Versace EDP scores 10/10. Great projection, great quality, lovely bottle, brilliant price tag. It would be indecent to expect more.

This has been one of my go to for several years. I really can't say that I have a signature scent since I'm way to promiscuous when it comes to perfumes. I have a really large collection that is always growing so I rotate a lot, but naturally some of them are a bit favored. I live in a cold climate where summer is short, but I feel that this one can be used all year round. I see that most have marked it suitable for spring but although I use it all year round, I associate it with autumn. Could be that I first bought it in the fall and mainly used it then, cause I get images of red and orange colored trees in my head when I smell it. It is a non-complicated scent that smells put together. Although it is a bit fruity in the opening it is not like a "fun" girly scent but a classy one, however it is not mature and definitely not dated. To me It dries down smooth and soft feeling like a beige cashmere cardigan on an early and sunny autumn morning.

This is absolutely divine ! It became my go to fragrance when I was in my thirties and forties. It’s such a beautiful , fresh , floral , amazingly put together . So much so , that my two daughters kept using it and I had to buy them a bottle each . It’s rather a compliment that my girls loved the same floral fragrances that I do , cause you would think adolescents wanted to portray their own identity and not smell like their mother. Saying that , this fragrance is not a girly , sugar pop floral yet it’s not a mature, soapy powdery one either . Now that they are in their late twenties, we all still love this non-offensive , day time , summer master piece in my eyes . It’s a fragrance I will wear all throughout my life and that’s the main aim of any perfume house .

I just sprayed a sample of this I've had for a while and I know that Gianni Versace (may he continue to rest in peace) created Blonde in tribute to his dear sister Donatella, but honestly, she immediately pops into my head when I smell this. It just seems as if she smells like this naturally, at least during the day and maybe she smells like Blonde at night, ha-ha. I thought this had mimosa in it, but now that I look at the scent notes, it's the wisteria coming across in that slight plastic doll head manner that I find nice here (mimosa can carry that plastic doll head thing too far). Not sure that this is exactly 'me,' but I intend on giving some wear this summer to find out.

Lilac and wisteria added to the lemony jasmine characteristic of most Versaces I’ve tried. I find it very oily rather than creamy but in a good way, like I literally crushed some purple petals between my fingers and then rubbed them on my skin. Straight up floral at first, but becoming a luxurious lemon and lilac soap or body oil. I can’t pick out the guava specifically; there’s just the smallest hint of something a little bit sweet and a little bit fruity. In fact, apart from the lilac and jasmine the rest (guava, dew drop, lotus, cedar) are like a well-blended, well-rounded supporting character. One of my favourites from Versace and one of my favourites full-stop.

This perfume to me is like happiness and a sunny day in the beginning of the summer. The lilacs are blossoming all around you, you beginning to get a little tanned by the suns warm touch on your skin and it's hot but not unbearably sweaty-hot. The fruits are definitely there and they are sweet and mellow, ready to be eaten, instead of overripe and mushy. The flowers are spreading their light colored white, pink and purple petals in the air! It's a beautiful and most pleasant time to be around. This is exactly what Versace pour femme feels like to me. A warm, bright and happy day with lots of good things to come.

Floral, Green, Berries, Guava, Vetiver: all mixed so lovely, so well. I love a perfume that has notes blended so well it is hard to discern one from the other . It is extremely womanly, airy, effervescent. The garden of Eden. I am so surprised that I rarely see this in stores, and all I see are the "crystal" family, which I am not a fan of. This is stunningly feminine, sensually sexy, luxurious, but not at all shy, Floral perfume. Love it, it will remain in my collection for a long while. There is a uniqueness in this that can make it a signature. I love the way it makes me feel, and consider it Versace's best.

Versace Pour Femme EdP is a great spring/summer/fall scent. Very nice mix of Wisteria, Lilac, Jasmin Cashmere wood & Musk scent. Not to girly, not too sweet. timeless - both the teenager and the adult woman can wear this one. Flirty, chic and a bit sexy. Longlasting on my skin, about 5-6 hours. Versace Pour Femme EdP är en skön vår/sommar/höst-doft. Fin mix av Blåregn, Syren, Jasmin, Cashmereträ & Musk. Inte för flickaaktig, inte för söt. Tidlös- både tonåringen och den mogna kvinnan passar i Pour Femme. Flirtig, chic och lite sexig. Hållbar på min hud, 5-6 timmar.

This is one hell of an awesome, sensational fragrance, totally stunning. Had it before and think i should buy again since Xmas specials are now on, as this one is pricey. Very sensual and feminine scent, very soft..,not too much gardenia, or fruit, but a creamy blend, perfect for day or night, and the sillage and longevity excellent. Lovely fresh creaminess. This gets 10/10 from me, for pure sexiness and outstanding quality. One of the best Versaces for me, together with Vanitas.

VeRSaCe FoR WoMeN Maybe because I dont judge a perfume by notes...i judge it by the overall feel it has to offer... but this was the best perfume i ever had!... Made heads turn and compliments galore! Guys wre more into this perfume than my girls wre but i Loved that feel ;) Overall its uplifting and it makes u feel sexy and confident ..its a scent of a daring and strong woman and it made me feel like one.. Buy and feel empowered is all i can say! Have a High-Spirited Day! :)

it smells elegance but not too old, flowery but not too sweet, mature & calm someone said it a bit too sweet but for me it better than one of juicy couture that make me wanna vomit in front of its counter first time i sensed it from my classmate, it's made be wanna stick with her. i fell in love it immediately but i didn't have a chance to her which perfume she sprayed.... after that so luckily that my roommate got a bottle of it... then now i have one, my no.1

I bought this perfume on whim and I am so glad I did, I absolutely love it! It is such a lovely aquatic fragrance. The guava isn't overbearingly sweet, it just gives that hint of tropical fragrance when you first apply it. I also get a whiff of melon, but that could be the watery smell mixed with the sweet guava. The dry down is a subtle but sweet floral (which was nice, sometimes you don't want to walk around smelling like a fruit juice!).

It’s a gorgeous scent! It smells fresh, juicy, without being cloying or too sweet. I believe it’s a really classy summertime fragrance and definitely office appropriate. I get a little soap in it too and it’s lovely. Makes it more sophisticated and clean. I think people who want a gourmand scent won’t be too happy with it. But if you like fresh, classy Parfumes it could be the one for you. Sillage is moderate Lasting power on me 5-6 hours

Hands down my all time favourite perfume. This was the first ever perfume I got and is still the perfume I swear by. I've only got the tiniest bit left and I'm devastated it's been discontinued. It's such a fresh spring time smell that was my staple scent throughout the entirety of my uni days. I wish I could find this perfume again, or at least something very similar - but nothing can beat this beautiful fresh and floraly scent.

Nose Note #471 Just what I like in womens perfumery. Juicy, fruity, not overly sweet Dior J'adore type of scent. They definately went for J'adore. Average performer. Won't work in very hot days, but otherwise you could use it all year round. This just happens to be what I especially like on my wife. Jasmine and lilac are very prominent. Not the most unique scent nowadays, but J'adore is a recognizable classic. 8/10, sparkling

Unique or not, this smells effing incredible and I am wearing it, because it's mine! If other fragrances smell like this, they must also be amazing. The gauva and lilacs make it different enough for me. Great spring/summer fruity floral with good sillage and longevity. With my dry skin, I can't say that about many of the lighter springtime florals, but this is so good. Dior Jadore must be jealous. Loving it today.

This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous, so very elegant! Flowery but in a very clean way, not overpowering at all. Confident, elegant, calm, well balanced, mature, simply perfect. Although I'm not the bigest fan of Versace perfumes I couldn't say anything bad about this one. Not a runnin' around scent, requires flawless appearance! I adore it! <3 :)

I get zero lilac. Disappointed with that. I love lilac. It smells very citrusy on me. I get an intense lime scent. My first thought was of Mike's hard limeaid. After smelling for a long time i can barely detect some cedar. No floral at all, just all citrus. It is strong and long lasting, but not a scent i want to linger let alone own.

Versace Pour Femme - Think melons and summer. The notes might not shout ‘melon,’ but the melon is there. This is a refreshing aquatic scent that perfectly captures the essence of a sunny day without blowing your head off in the heat. It’s a total love for me—light, breezy, and oh-so-refreshing! Wear what you want. No labels needed.

It is very fruity scent because of guava. It is fresh and flowerly because of lotus and other flowers. It has tropical vibe. I have Giorgio Beverly Hills Blue and it is very similar or better say it is on the same line - it has guava, too. If you cannot buy Versace, you can try Giorgio.

This scent was what gotten me into perfume for the very first time. Like warm cashmere on a winter morning, this just envelopes you in ways that's very classy yet feminine at the same time. My go to scent even after 15 yrs and amongst the many other perfumes I had.

This is a very "open" perfume: positive and glowing. Even though this isn't a revolutionary scent,I don't find it boring or ordinary, at all. It is just one of those classics which is quite easily detectable, but in a non-vexing way. I really appreciate this one!

This perfume is magical. Soft fruits intermingle with the most beautiful fresh flowers. There is a magical sparkle to this perfume that ignites your heart, it makes you feel happy and confident A very bright and fresh perfume yet classy at the same time. Love it!

I was in the cafe with lil one. We passed by a couple and sat next to their table. The lady who was shy to ask me, asked her partner to ask me what I was wearing. When I told them what I'm wearing, she went wow that's a beautiful scent! :)

This fragrance is just awful. At first spray, you think it is alright... then, once it sits on you for 30 seconds, it turns into banana wax crayon. Just terrible. Maybe it just did not agree with my skin chemistry? Will NOT be buying

This is also a soft and elegant perfume in the line of Champs d ́Elyses de Guerlain. Very chic, feminine and long lasting. Lovely perfume and suitable for work because it will not offend anyone it ́s too soft and cozy! Love it.

Wow this is gorgeous! A well-blended lilac perfume with a pretty jasmine base. What really makes it special are the gorgeous guava and orchid notes that give a beautiful "pink-ness" to the rest of the florals. Love it!

This is an underrated gem . It’s a beautiful fresh floral. Perfect for everyday and occasion. If you love fresh and clean florals with a woody dry down you won’t be let down . I’m really happy I came back to this one .

it is so sexy and romantic scent that really a perfect blend. when i spray it, i can't stop falling in love with it. it is truly an amazing scent. "trendy, fresh and feminine, but at the same time classic" its true!

I received this as a gift from my to be husband in 2008 before our marriage a year later. I superliked it. It did feel like love. Super feminine, clean fresh floral.Remember finishing whole big bottle in a year.

This is lovely, and everything I hoped Guerlain Idylle EDT and EDP would be. Nicely blended. After my debacle with Idylle I thought it didn't like florals, but this crisp, effervescent pretty I am enjoying.

Perfect fragrance for the summer, safe for not finishing with the headaches or nauseous. It’s light, refreshing, how a summer fragrance should be. Good to wear it during the day or nights.

Pretty! Nice even in cold months, very fresh floral bouquet. Why didn't I try this beauty earlier? I like so much the lilac and wisteria combo. Longevity is about 6-7 hours.
