Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir

Versace Oud Noir Released a decade ago, this is somewhat similar to Versace Man Except they replaced the tobacco with westernized Oud and it becomes a more earthy version of Versace Man. Still a pretty underated mass appealing woody oud profile. You've got to wear it properly to appreciate the scent and not on test paper strips. My bottle has been grossly underutilized and sitting in the cupboard with more and more purchases. On the start, you'll definitely get the oud and Neroli. You get a musty dirty dam wet bitterness slight orangey neroli with the woody oud, saffron and incense coming or actually being there rather fast. It's kinda animalic with some spices and not really sweet. It's quite well done and you can liken the whole dna to have similarities with TF Oud Wood which some may prefer but the cost and price difference is big for both. If you have a bottle of TFOW you may want to keep the OW for certain occasions and wears and use more of Oud Noir. Some says Oud Noir has poor silage but with enough sprays, silage and projection is actually very good on my skin. It's enough to make the whole office smells you but not cloy folks around you out. It's not loud but neither is it soft. Performance can be anywhere from 5 to 8 or more hours depending on conditions but this seems to perform better in cooler conditions. For anyone who can handle some oud and matured noses, Oud Noir would be good for wearing at most places, be it office, schools or meetings. For someone trying to get into such profiles, Oud Noir is a good start. It fits into a Designer Oud scent release for the masses and isn't off putting enough to throw even matured noses off compared to some niches or Shanky authentic ouds, since it's pretty much westernized aroma chemical oud used here. Give it a try since I heard it's being discontinued but there are still tons of 2022 production bottles available everywhere

This is phenomenal! Definitely some Oud Wood DNA. The opening is photorealistic bitter orange rind, crushed black pepper, with a hint of saffron, along with some familiar OW facets. It fades into the heart notes within the first hours and you are left with much more rugged and masculine take on Oud Wood. It's spicier and woodier, with some green spice, yet lacks some of the cleanness of OW: notably the rose wood and some other fresher aromachemicals (linalool especially comes to mind). I honestly prefer this to OW in its current incarnation, and I wish I had bought a bottle of this instead of my most recent bottle of OW, that I picked up just over a month ago. My bottle was purchased second hand at about 85% full and has a batch code reflecting a 2022 production and the performance is slightly above average for a fragrance of this style (nice way of saying it's a twist on the Oud Wood DNA). It definitely outlasts OW in terms of projection, longevity, and sillage. I get about 5 hours of performance on skin, great projection in the first hour and a half, slowly receding to a skin scent by hour 4 and leaving a faint hint of spice, wood, and patchouli in the last hour. It lasts over 10 hours on clothing, which is typically how a wear the majority of most of my fragrances (one spray on the back of both hands which I run on my wrists, then a spray under my shirt collar and two on top of my chest over my shirt . It's not a beast by any means, but easily outpaces modern formula of Oud Wood. This fragrance is notorious for having counterfeit bottles in circulation dating back over a decade, if you are having performance issues there is a strong possibility that you have a fake, or it could be due to a more recently opened bottle needing to mature with some air inside.

An exquisite designer oud perfume minus an animalic note. A spicy cardamom forward sweet woody oud fragrance. Sexy yet classy. A bad boy that for some reason also has an MBA with honors. Not as sweet as Initio's Oud for Greatness and not as woody as TF's Oud Wood. It has the Versace Pour Homme DNA through out. Great for a date night, formal occasions, wearing to work, pretty much anything outside of the gym! Certainly signature scent worthy! To those who think this is a clone of TF's Oud Wood, I think you are missing the forest for the trees. The similarities between this and Oud Wood are that they are both Western designer interpretations of an oud fragrance. I don't like TF's Oud Wood, but I love Versace Oud Noir. Oud Wood to me has an almost green, woody cedar/pine vibe while this has a spicy/citrus cardamom vibe. If you're buying this to scratch the Oud Wood itch, don't! They are not the same thing! Get an Oud Wood dupe instead, there are a bunch of them out there. Ok back to Oud Noir, longevity on this fragrance is actually pretty outstanding; I can apply it now and in 24 hours I'll still smell it as a skin scent. However where this thing lacks, is the projection and sillage. It may last a 24-hour period, but during that whole time you'll be lucky if people can actually smell it on you unless they are intimately close, and that's my biggest gripe of this fragrance. It saddens me because otherwise, this is one of my favorite oud fragrances if not my favorite fragrance overall! Also, Oud Noir is now discontinued. You can still find it at discounters, but Versace pulled the plug on this one a while ago.

Quite an exquisite fragrance. The opening is a bit harsh, as it’s very dry and sharp, and a bit too “hippie” at first, but wait a few minutes and it really opens up. Make no mistake, this is absolutely a woody oriental (definitely a creamy incense type vibe) with plenty of spice, and while the opening is a bit bitter and not the best, it evolves into a beautiful, smooth, elegant scent, one of my favorites honestly, it’s intoxicating and addicting. Now, I am no expert, so I’m not here to tell you if it smells like real oud or not, I’m here to tell you it smells very, very good. It’s a wood based fragrance through and through, but it’s also well rounded with hints of a smooth, almost powdery type scent, and a beautiful mix between fresh and warm spice that is mysterious, dark, and alluring. Longevity and projection for me are very good, one of the best I own actually, but it’s not overwhelmingly strong or offensive in any way like Polo Green. I wear this at night, it’s definitely a special occasion type fragrance, whether that be a romantic date night or a special event, it’s not something I’d wear every day, as it really sends out a very distinct and memorable vibe, and is a bit too bold for daytime/summer wear in my opinion. Usually I do fresh/citrus/aquatic during the day and summer months, and warm/oriental/spicy in the evenings and fall/winter. This is in my top 5 current favorites and once you let it sit for a few minutes, it’s an absolute delight: memorable, sophisticated, and truly luxurious. 9.75/10 Opening -9.25/10 Dry down - 10/10 Longevity - 10/10

This is an absolutely fantastic oud fragrance. But please pay attention to this disclaimer: it seems like a lot of people don't understand that oud is a naturally sour and "stinky" note. It's not for everyone, so if you blind buy this and end up thinking it smells like sweat, or cat piss, or whatever, well ... that's what oud smells like. It's up to the perfumer to make sure the oud is well blended with other complementary notes that simultaneously mask the offensive characteristics, while still letting the oud have a voice. It's not an easy task, and some fragrances (like M7 Oud Absolu) just bury the oud under sweeter notes. Versace Oud Noir blends the oud with peppery spice, and it's a beautiful combination. The oud is here, not shy or hiding, but the pepper keeps the oud from turning noxious, and actually props it up so that it becomes respectable and sophisticated. Not an easy thing to do! I have enough fragrances in my collection that I almost never wear the same thing two days in a row, but Versace Oud Noir was so delicious that I wore it for two consecutive days. It was that intoxicating and addictive. Both days, I sprayed it on at about 7:30 a.m. and was still catching wonderful wafts of it at 6:00 p.m. -- but it's definitely a scent that naturally stays a bit closer to the body because it's thicker and heavier. This fragrance might just have displaced Polo Supreme Oud as my Number Two overall oud scent. (Varvatos Oud is still Number One.)

I really like this stuff, I bought a tester for 80 cad to use inbetween wears of Oud Wood which I save for going out. It totally satisfies this purpose, I am very happy I bought this. A peppery orange opening, with noticable cardamom to make things warm, a leathery saffron that envolopes the notes, olibanum makes it very regal and opulent and a base of patchouli, woods and a slightly medicinal but very aproachable oud is eventually revealed. Overall it is blended to perfection and has a very “Versace” feel. I would say it’s 75% similar to OW and the other 25% is Versaces twist on the DNA. They are cousin fragrances, it’s not a clone. To me it’s very masculine and is a total “bad boy” fragrance, wear this with a leather jacket and shades. It isn’t loud but when people get near you they will smell it. It could also be dressed up all the way to formal, so it is quite versitile. I think it suits cooler weather better but I would happily wear it anywhere under 20c. As for age I think anyone over 18 will do well with this, it’s too dark and brooding for teens. Performance is average don’t let anyone tell you it’s “weak”. People who say this have fried their noses from too many nuclear Dubai special perfumes. Just put it in a travel atomizer and spritz some more on half way through the day, problem solved. Lasts about 7 hours and has moderate sillage. Really good purchase I recomend. I give it a solid 9/10, a tremendous value and overlooked gem.

The way Verace blended this... is my kind of Oud. Its not over powering... its subtle. Yes its not a projecting monster.... and you need to likely spriz again later. While that may not be to everyones cup of tea I actully love it for that. I dont want it to strangle the everyone's nose and nor mine. I want it to be a gentle reminder its here... its a sophisticated fragrance. With warmth and grace. Not a loud obnoxious experince but a warm embrace. Something that when yout wife gets close she can really enjoy it and share the appreciation om those embracing nights on the sofa or while out and about or on a date night.. Its just sophisticated and warm. There is a great fruitiness about it while also being slightly dark with the oud. Fragrance is a personal experince to you own taste. And for me.... Just always gets my thumbs up. Out of the silly volume of fragrances I hold. This just beats everything. Id rate this to be a safe blind buy if you want a subtle soft fruity oud. Id also advise to look out for it on Boots sales and try and get some student discount. My best price so far is 48 quid. You can take a risk and try on ebay... im always bit cautious with ebay with the volume of fakes around. But y9u can occasionally find good deals if you do your research.

This is equal parts Versace Man and Tom Ford Oud Wood. Tobacco, saffron, oud, woody notes and leather... what's not to like?! So far, this is REALLY good! I love this oud note. It's the same note that makes Oud Wood so good, but I really appreciate the tobacco, saffron, and the tiny bit of spice and leather that are in Oud Noir. If anything, this is Oud Wood IMPROVED! Much in the same way that the original Pour Homme was Acqua Di Gio improved. A friend of mine just had me purchase TF Oud Wood for him a few days before I purchased this, and I can say for certain that they're nearly identical, but I prefer Oud Noir for its subtle differences. The price difference ($260 vs $42 on Notino) doesn't hurt either! Longevity has been great too, over 8-10 hours for me the half dozen times I've worn it. Projection is moderate, but just a bit lower than I'd like after the 3-4 hour mark. The same is true for Oud Wood though, so I can't really peg Oud Noir for that, especially given its price versus Oud Wood. This scent should be a no brainer if you even remotely like Tom Ford Oud Wood, or if you love it, but don't love its price. Now if only there were a Versace clone of Tuscan Leather...

Fizzy medicinal oud with a tolerably soapy, civilised, Mediterranean barbershop opening that ensures that the oud, though immediately gruff and charismatic, is only around 20% likely to pee in all your pot plants and boast to you about that night, roughly nine months before you were born, when it hid a turd at the bottom of its housemate's tub of margarine, headed on down to some sweaty, noisy club and hooked up with your mum. On my skin, the longevity is only average but the sillage is stronger, and I like this a lot. It actually reminds me slightly of vintage Brut, but that may primarily be down to the (patchouli?) fizz, the initial barbershop element and the unapologetically masculine-leaning gruffness. Although the medicinal--clean, dark resinous--aspect of the oud accord seems to be in it for the long haul, to my nose the (far) drydown comes across mostly as a finely balanced tussle between minty clay patchouli and a sweeter, perhaps ever so slightly fecal effect--but none of this is strong enough to be of concern or even readily noticeable, and again, I like it anyway.

It starts with citrus for few seconds, then comes a strong burst of fresh pepper in the opening, with noticeable saffron and cardamom. Attention: you have to like black pepper, as it will be highly noticeable for some hours until you feel other notes. Oud is there after some time. (update: after trying it few times, the overall smell of pepper decreased with the usage. Maybe the perfume macerated, or the pepper was concentrated in the bottom) Sillage is shy. I have to smell my skin (or clothing) directly to feel it. The quality of the materials is high, and the oud is present but not overpowering. As this fragrance was designed to introduce oud to the Western market, it feels relatively simple and somewhat fresh. Nevertheless, this is for confident and mature individuals, as it is stronger than typical fresh fragrances, perhaps not the best choice for younger people who prefer sweeter scents. In short, a very elegant fragrance.

Versace colognes often get the most hype for the Eros line and Dylan Blue, but there’s more to explore. I've always said Versace and Ralph Lauren offer great fragrances for their price points, and this one is no exception—picked it up for just $60. Finally getting around to testing it before spring rolls in. Dark, mysterious, elegant, and undeniably masculine. Warm and woodsy with hints of mandarin and neroli, but make no mistake—this scent is all about the oud and spices. It’s often compared to Tom Ford’s Oud Wood (which I own), and while I grabbed this as a more affordable daily alternative, it stands strong on its own with a smoother edge. Projection is average, and while the performance fades after a few hours on my skin, it still makes a strong impression. A well-blended designer oud that’s definitely in the running for a signature scent (at least during the colder months).

An easy pace dry designer oud with the signature Versace gold swirl blend. The same that works well in Dylan Blue. The imprint of the fashion house is as distinct as it's shirts. Nobody has a shirt that claims itself like a Versace without spelling. Their fragrance blending style has the same flair. The company strategy it appears is to stay in the easily accessible price point, not cheapie but cheaper than the top designers Armani, Dior, Chanel. The quality is competitive enough for the casual user. I enjoy it, it has some smoke. Like all oud's well lotioned skin improves performance. Apply while warm if possible. In my fragrance journey comparing it to others. It has more style than John Varvatos Oud. A higher quality lead note and more smoke than Hugo Boss Bottled Oud. A less quality lead note than Polo Supreme Oud. Less unique than Hugo Boss Oud Aromatic.

Decent scent with a nice if not slightly chemical oud smell. Its longevity is crap and its sillage is non existent. It just kinda introduces you to oud and seems like a gateway to Carved Oud by Thameem or the incomparable Oud Wood from Tom Ford which also has crap sillage. Get this if you want an inexpensive oud scent that is right up front but don’t expect longevity at all. I am updating this after a full days wear. The sillage was arms length and it last a good six hours. I did get some positive feedback and it has made me a real fan. The difference between this and Oud Wood is that little bit of the dark notes that make it stand out. Not as complex as Oud for Greatness but it does a great job for a median time period. 8/10 would recommend for an inoffensive introduction to oud fragrance that win’t break the bank.

This took me by surprise, yes I blind bought an oud fragrance, because I'm not scared. But this has got to be one of the safest ouds I've ever smelt, I was expecting something in the ballpark of purple oud by dior. The bitter orange and neroli are maybe adding such a freshness that the stank from the oud is completely covert, just enough oud to add a touch of mysteriousness, the opening reminds me of Sauvage Parfum, but I could be getting some olfactory fatigue through testing so much :) Occasionally I get big wiffs of this, I don't know if it's on my shirt but this stuff sticks around on clothes for sure, have also been testing jpg le male le Parfum today so maybe missing something, but I'd say this is much more citrus and fresh spicy than an oud fragrance.

Beautifully blended fragrance that gives a European slant on oriental scents. The Olibanum (Frankincense) reminds me of a Catholic church in the middle of celebrations. Maybe this isn’t a sexy scent, but for me, it makes me feel clean, classy and elegant. This is a mature scent for a modern man. Not for all occasions and much more pleasant in winter, this fragrance is very appealing to my nose. It lasts a moderate amount of time, but less than most oud based fragrances I have. The oud note is very pleasant and not funky at all. It’s fresh and ties the fragrance together. Definitely worth the purchase price. Not a blind buy due to the oud and olibanum notes. I think Versace has done a fantastic job with this fragrance.

So nice, as are the other two members of VPH trio, Dylan Blue and Versace Pour Homme. They’re all clean and pleasant, and this is the most exotic, spicy, middle eastern one. At this price point, collectors should have all three, and throw-in a $20 bottle of Versace Blue Jeans, another super pleasant, approachable fragrance. VPH Oud Noir is one of those fragrances that, once discontinued, will sell for $175 on eBay to enthusiasts and my fellow OCD friends that need to complete the set. Get ‘em all now. For those new to the fragrance world, the VPH line are more mature fragrances - the Eros line (Parfum version notwithstanding) are better suited for younger people. Versace fragrances are solid choices - try them all.

Can people please stop saying it’s discontinued? YouTube information is why conspiracies exist in southern rural America such as 2020 election fraud conspiracy and people developing autism from Covid vaccines. I already have a January 2023 bottle. It’s still in production. It’s still strong at first, fades after 3 hours for me. My bf said it lasts 1 1/2-2 on him. People can smell it on me in public after 2 hours still, I get good compliments. Great to layer with Versace Crystal Noir EDP, both having Cardamon and being oriental. Spray it right after you shower, and/or put fragrance free lotion all over your body. You will then get decent projection even out doors. Perfect for summer night bonfires.

Oud Made Easy It's not just about introductory oud as the "AI generated Pros and Cons" list. For me, it's about creating an oud fragrance and maximize it's versatility. There is such a balance of notes here, the freshness of neroli manages to create a balance, while the bitter orange gives it a sophisticated citrus edge. Oud is not blasted out of proportion making it a wearable for anything except summer days. You dress up for a formal dinner even in summer in an air conditioned environment and your crisp black suit will feel more premium with this on. For the other seasons, it can go in the office too. Effortlessly classy, gentlemanly and unique (not many people wear this scent profile).

Like the comment below and so many others, this is a beautiful oud scent for getting into oud. Not a safe blind buy if you don't know if you like oud or not, though. Definitely try before you buy. Aside from that, it's the same DNA as TF Oud Wood, but more casual. Great to wear on a rainy, cool day in fall or winter with a sweater and some leather boots. I absolutely love this stuff for going to a café on a rainy Saturday in November and getting extra work done. It's just fantastic stuff. Not a super strong performer, doesn't last a hell of a lot of time on my skin, but usually I don't need it to. It simply gets the job done. I will always need a bottle of this stuff in my wardrobe.

I have been intrested in this trying this scent for years but never seen it anywhere. Ordered a sample and absolutly love it. How is this not available everywhere with the rest of the Versace line? The only negative and it's kind of a big deal, it doesn't last long enough. I got a solid two hours before it quickly fades away. Great scent while it lasts. I figured it out. I sampled a few oud scents available locally and Versace Oud Noir is like a heavily thinned down version of Initio Oud for Greatness. So thinned down that it's fresh and airy like a designer fragrance for mass appeal. It could easily be worn in warmer weather. I really wish it would last longer.

Beautiful fragrance, terrible performance with one caveat. I wore this under a business casual wool sweater one day and the heat in my office was bumping the whole time I was in. I had just 3 sprays on (I think) and my door closed all day and I couldn't stop sticking my nose under the collar of my sweater and undershirt to get a waft of the spicy/clean and woody goodness. It radiated all morning and afternoon and I think this one really needs a higher body temperature to do it's thing. When it has the right conditions to push, it radiates so beautifully. Unfortunately I haven't been able to recreate that one experience since. I'll keep trying anyway.

#448 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is now number one among my oud fragrances. Smooth, creamy, attractive, inviting. This is very well balanced and masculine without being aggressive. This does however deliver unimpressive longevity for an EDP (Just makes it to lunch.) and sillage is good to six feet for an hour at best. If over-sprayed it's suffocating like all oud scents can be. So I'd apply conservatively in the morning and just reapply at lunch. I can see this working for formal wear, office wear and date night, again, if used conservatively. I think this is the first oud scent I'd call a safe blind buy as the price is right for what it does.

My brother has Oud Wood by Tom Ford and I have this. They are very similar but I think the orange added with the flowers on this make it smell a bit different but I’m not a profesional so idk lol Tom, of course, lasts longer but Versace is still good longevity for its price. I love it! Recommend! EDIT: applied around 6:50 am and I can still smell it on my clothes at 3:40 pm. EDIT: 2 days later and I can still smell it on my 100% polyester jacket. Mind ya, I sprayed some Haute Vie Ibiza EDP (kind of weak to be an EDP but it still smells good) on the same jacket and I can still smell the Versace around the neck area. 👍

I have never enjoyed a designer fragrance this much. This cologne is so classy, dark, and elegant. It reminds me of a glass of wine with notes of oud and incense. It doesn't seem to last very long on my skin but others seem to have better luck with the longevity. It has good arm-length projection. I'd recommend it for a nice steak dinner or formal occasion, but only at night. It's not restricted to any particular season but I think that it's best suited to cool weather, like 60-70 degrees. It may become overbearing in summer heat. Overall, great designer fragrance, 9.5/10

Non-rancid oud for "cheap" with okay performance? This is elegant! Certainly a 3 season signature, accompanied with good judgement based on temperature, etc. I'd love to make this my own signature if I were to have a single perfume from fall through spring. This is great! Not more of the same for when it comes to designers, with this very wearable woodsy oud touch of class in the fragrance. Quite peppery, this is one that unfortunately is discontinued (apparently) that I'm glad to have picked up a bottle. You'll spend around $55 for 100mL of this, and it's well worth it.

Nice and safe oud scent. Oud is all I smell here, it's a certain rounded or tamed form of it. But still, it also has some sweetness + I just sprayed Oud Wood on my other hand and I conclude that this is much closer to Ombre Leather (which I also have) than to Oud Wood. Oud Wood has "high" notes in it that are totally absent here (unless my tester has leaked those high notes), the sweetness profile is totally different and finally, Oud Wood has barely any direct oud in it, it is perhaps "oud translated" to something at best while Oud Noir certainly has direct oud.

I don't like this sentence "This is an oud scent for beginners who are starting to experiment oudscents" because I don't like the skanky type or the dominant oud scents, so I don't see it as entry level oud scent as others may claim, but for me it is the advanced next level of oud scent for me and my liking. This is one of my favorite scents of all time, but I wish it would has a more fresher scent. I think that Hommage a L'Homme by Lalique (another favorite of mine) is the fresher take on this scent, and unfortunately I couldn't find the Lalique in anywhere.

I was originally unsure about this one when I blind bought it discount a few years ago, however, it's one that I have slowly come to enjoy quite a bit. Lately, as the weather has gotten colder, I've really enjoyed a few sprays of this on my sweater in the evening while I'm lounging at home. It's not sweet but it somehow has a cozy feel to it? It's just nice. I don't think this is youthful at all and wouldn't be good as a daily, all season scent but I like this in a similar category as terre d'hermes. 30's and up and for Al autumn / winter.

This is what I call classy! Versace never disappoints me. At this point I have tried all and my least fav is Green Eros second least is Versace PH. Other than these everything is great. Not that these are bad but I think these are meant for young people. Oud noir is oud meant for mature folks who dislike middle eastern Oud or are new to Oud. Classy is the only word. Longevity on clothes is easily 12-16 hrs. Silage is not great and it’s more intimate frag. Your wife will love it even if she dislikes for first couple of times.

Love it. The first time I wore it, I told the friend who gifted it to me I spent the day feeling like I smelled like Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye. Classy, manly, Smokey, a little boozy. Shaken not stirred. The Neroli really makes this one unique. The Oud is very smooth and subtle and inoffensive to the masses. I get a solid 7 to 10 hours of performance based on weather, and the first 4 or 5 the performance is very strong. One of my favorites as long as it’s not too hot. Highly recommend if you are a fan of “mature” scents.

I like it, very similar to oud wood, but slightly more mass appealing. The opening is spicy citrus and woods, and I also get a note which comes across very earthy. The longevity is horrendous, I get maybe a little more than a hour of projection then it quickly fades to nothing after about 3 hrs. The earthy dryness is what differentiates this from oud wood and I appreciate it for what it is but overall I find it to be mediocre at best. Overall id rate it a 6 out of 10 there are so many better options at this price range.

An absolute stunner... Very similar in the air to Oud Wood, the sillage is VERY Oud Wood in its own way. I own both but OW is so over priced and a ghost of its former self now its not near worth what you'll pay. Oud Noir is Dry, Woodsy, has great lift , vibrant , fizzy and thick off of skin. On Paper its a bit more dry and the notes tend to blur. On skin they separate and act how intended. Pay no attention to the nose in the air oud snobs that trash it. If you're a fan of oud and don't own this you're missing out.

OMG I am obsessed. Please don't expect me to go into specific fragrances because my nose doesn't work like that but this is insane. I work a 12 hour shift and it lasted until i got home. It has a sweetness to it, you can absolutely smell the woodiness, its is a scent that warms your soul. After about 4 hours I can definitely pick up a burnt orange smell and its so sexy! I wanted to get into fragrance but was worried but after this hit I will be getting so deep into fragrance from now on! Highly recommend.

This stuff is so good, I bought me a back up bottle. What a shame it’s discontinued. I sense tobacco and pepper. It’s a synthetic oud engineered for western tastes. I’ve been wearing this all day, but I’ve had to reapply every 5 hours. It’s woody, rich and spicy. I reckon this would be great on a teenager with a mature personality. Excellent quality synthetics. The desirable qualities taken from oud are retained while the typical disgusting oud characteristics are filtered out. It’s pretty posh stuff.

Pfffff.....the juice is f@kcing amazing, absolute divine! The oud is not so in the face like any other arabic smell, but the mix of spices with flowers and wood notes makes it awsome! But....the performance is below medium....i want this to last loooooonger! I think I have to hide it for a while to get macerated! And one more thing, this is not discontinued, not for now! Blind buy? Hell Yes....if you want to smell like a bad ass! **UPDATE** Great smell.....BUT very very very very weak!:((((((

Very good scent, similar to Tom Ford Oud Wood (TFOW), but definitely not the same, goes in its own direction after 30 mins, the opening and mid are very close to TFOW. Lasts a good amount of time, around 8 hours with moderate sillage and moderate projection. Before I gave this away to my brother (he LOVES the scent), it is great for daytime and nighttime use, smart-casual setting! Definitely worth buying if you want a gentle introduction to Oud scents. Rating: 4.75/5 Recommendation: Buy

"Eleanor" If Tom Ford Tobacco Oud and John Varvatos Dark Rebel had a baby (sort of). This has been on my list for a while and I finally pulled the trigger on it. Upon initial spray I thought "This is nice", and just minutes later I wondered "Where'd it go?". I wasn't sure if I'd care for the bitter orange & neroli, but was pleasantly surprised. A nice smelling designer oud that doesn't seem to perform very well on my skin, hence the nickname 'Eleanor' as in 'Gone In 60 Seconds'.

I enjoy Oud Noir. Definitely a solid cold weather scent. Projection and longevity are solid. The fragrance is a tad bit dry and brittle for my taste, so I do wish there was a slightly sharper sweetness or richness somewhere to give some balance, but thats just me... for what it is though, this is nice... The oud is present without being overly earthy or unpalatable, pepper and florals help to give it some balance and lift. Great oud iteration from versace

This gives good Oud... Not overwhelming on the spray and dries down with a pretty decent performance. Worn at work for a 12 hour day and I'm still getting whiffs of leathery deliciousness as my day ends. This isn't a good beginner oud like people are saying.... It's a great oud for someone who doesn't want to blast everyone with a fragrance that some people find overwhelming. Once again, sample your stuff before you buy it. This isn't for everyone.

I have Versace Man and Oud Noir. To my nose, these are 2 distinct fragrances, and I prefer Oud Noir. This juice does share similarities with Oud Wood. I understand that Oud Wood is a higher quality fragrance, but I still prefer Oud Noir’s scent profile. Oud Noir is slightly more mass-appealing and slightly more masculine than Oud Wood. Overall, this is a very elegant and stylish oud fragrance for someone like me that does not love oud.

I get a distinct marzipan sweetness in the opening, which reminds me of the almond in Guerlain L'Homme Ideal. I get the marzipan in TF Oud Wood too, but much lighter / subtler. For 2 or 3 hours after the opening, I get beautiful wafts of woody patchouli when I walk into my scent trail. It makes me wonder if it's worth discovering a more patchouli fronted fragrance with better staying power. Suggestions welcome

This one right here is special. I wanted something really woody and this does not disappoint! The oud is fantastic here in a smooth blend with warm and fresh spices. One of the most versatile spicy/woody fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Really fantastic fragrance from Versace. Very affordable on discounters right now and well worth the price. Blind buy worthy. Might get a back up bottle even! Love this stuff.

One of the most overlooked fragrances, good compliment getter, and has a mix between middle eastern and western fragrance aspects. more friendly oud profile for people not used to the smell, and the oud is not the major part of the scent profile. Overall smells fantastic, and has a lot of depth, but it has no projection, and a mediocre longevity for the type of fragrance it is supposed to be. 9/10

Oud Wood vibes re: light projection and three-hour longevity. Similar scent profile, probably a little sweeter, though. I layer this with Oud Wood in order to extend it. Decent, nothing earth-shaking. Not expensive, either. A decent pick-up if you like the DNA... but not really worth purchasing if you have OW or one of its myriad clones. I like it, but would recommend skipping if you have the OG.

This is a very easy to wear oud, not one that's going to cause any annoyance to anyone with a sensitive nose, it's warming, without being too heavy it arrid. It has a level of sweetness, with balances the dryness of the wood very well. Performance on my skin is pretty good, on clothes it lasts rather well, I know the experience varies from person to person. I enjoy it.

Very similar to Versace Man, which has been long discontinued. I only get a faint resemblance of Oud Wood as it dries down the differences digress. This is very mature, dry, green, smells like currency notes if that makes sense. I only wished it performed better and pushed more, nonetheless it's a great daring release from a designer house that makes it stand out.

This is my favorite Oud fragrance. Yes, Tom Ford Oud Wood is a masterpiece but the Versace Oud holds it's own for me. Everytime I spray it on I fall in love with it again. Some say it's "not very strong" or "all spices and no Oud" but this blend is special in every way. (I decided to spend my Tom Ford money on Noir Extreme instead and I have NO regrets.)

The scent is nice & classy. Something different from my entire collection. All seasons scent imo except high summer heat. Performance is below average, however, with over spraying it can make it to the 8th hour & still be noticeable. I did 15 sprays & it lasted me from 6PM up to 1.00 AM & was still going. Definitely worth a bottle for the right price.

...like a initio oud for greatness and oud wood TF but more fresh and wearable... ...Performance is lacking for an EDP. Very simple, and linear. Overall, I enjoy the scent for what it is. It could be cheaper for the quality of scent and performance... Exactly... Those two reviewers below me pretty much summed it up.

My god, I love this. So fresh and clean and serious. I layered this with Oud for Glory and Encre Noire by lalique and it brought this experience to a whole new level. I absolutely love oud and will definitely be wearing this one on the daily, and then Tom Ford Oud Wood on special occasions. Safe blind buy imo
