Looking for a somewhat dirty, addictive yet 100% inoffensive leather scent? Accrodisiaque is all that and more. On me, the rose in the opening comes across very vegetal and moist, probably due to the addition of dill, fennel, citruses, teas, etc. but I don't perceive them as separate notes here. The scent is very round and well blended. The middle and drydown is where the magic happens. The profile gets gradually drier (pepper) and deeper (patchouli), until it arrives at a warm, animalic leather soft around the edges with cashmeran and amber, sharpened by woods, vetiver and musk. This deliciousness lasts for satisfyingly long hours. Personally, I like a bit more of a challenge in my leather scents. However, I appreciate this creation for the sexy green-rose-dirty-leather that not only dirty-leather-lovers can enjoy.

I bought this at a small perfume shop in Bordeaux. I was looking for a classic rose, and the guy helping me steered me to this. It was not at all what I was looking for, but I tried it. I bought something else (100 Bon Rose and Bergamot), but then walking back home in the rain I kept getting intriguing whiffs of this scent. It was dark and mysterious and not at all an innocent rose--it is really the opposite of what I think of a rose perfume. I kept smelling it on my wrist and fell for it. I then rushed back the next day to buy a bottle--I thought they would sell out. I wear it a lot in the winter. It is very moody!

I picked this up in France after trying it and continuing to smell my wrist. I don’t love it at first application, but give it a half hour or hour and it’s fantastic. It’s a dark, sexy, almost carnal rose and although I can’t readily identify the blueberry, I can tell it’s there and it gives it a jammy effect. This is not a Jo Malone type rose, this is dense, thick, rich and almost syrupy. It has a deep earthiness to it without smelling like soil. I am a lover of rose scents and this does not disappoint. I can see this in fall and winter and for a night out, but not for everyday.

It's like the scent of your most glamorous (slightly intimidating) aunt when you were a kid, and she's taking you out to that coffee shop your mum would never go into - the place that sells expensive lavender soaps and homewares for wealthy country wives. It's very floral, but it's a complex, aged, port-like floral, rose pot pourri with a quiet hint of leather and oud really far in the background. Sweet and a little heavy. Long lasting and mid sillage - doesn't fill a room but creates a really beautiful scent bubble around me.

Juicy, pitch dark, bitter, and sensual. Tangy blueberry wine with a film of ashes floating on top. A thorny black rose with leather-tipped petals. Black pepper. A cup of tea that has been steeping for days. Ancient crushed spices, oily green cypriol, and wood. Simultaneously mouthwatering and repellent--morbidly tart--I just can't get enough. Sometimes I think it's acrid and I need to wash it off, but then I can't stop smelling it. Lasts forever on my skin with decent projection. Poisonous but in a good way. Antivenom.

Strongly addictive rose perfume with noble woodiness. There are a similarity with Diptyque roses, but this interpretation is more kissed by cashmeran and leather. The vegetable greenness is caused by dill and fennel, but tea is more noticable. It is raw and animal notes turn this fragrance a bit wild. Personally I enjoy this sensuality: it is warm, tempting and mysterious. Quiet, but audible. Definitely not the last meeting with this gem!

My favorite of the collection. The rose is not overwhelmingly floral, it falls more on the woody and green side, and after it dries down, the leather, vetiver and animalic notes shine through and become quite prominent on my skin while simultaneously preserving the freshness of the rose. It makes me feel sexy feral wild raw etc... My husband did not enjoy this, I am considering divorce

This is one of the sexiest scents I've ever smelled on myself. It's a rose, it's leather, it's bombastic. It's sexy in a way that suits men and women. If anything, this is something that I expect Dr. Frank-N-Furter would love to wear.

Versatile Paris Discovery Kit 5/7 Accrodisiaque | I wondered what the name meant, and I'm assuming it's a portmanteau of the French slang term "accro" and aphrodisiac. "Accro" means to be hooked on something, which ties into the copy about being addicted. The more you know~ Definitely the strongest of the Versatile Paris line-up which is a good thing. As a whole, their offering skewed towards subtlety, but you could smell this one almost immediately after opening the lid. I felt this was a juicy rose, similar to Diptyque's L'ombre Dans L'eau. I think the vegetal green notes bridge the similarities with the blueberry perhaps playing the analogous role of the blackcurrant. I can't really pick out the blueberry on it's own, but both definitely have a similar vibe. The main difference is the animalic layer at the base. It's really assertive and gives dynamism to the whole scent. But the more I wear it, I can't stop noticing it and wishing it were gone. I definitely prefer the Diptyque, but could see this as an alternative for people who like stronger, statement-making scents.

Sampling Versatile Paris Accrodisiaque, the first non-gourmand that I’m trying from the line, a fresh, green, rosy and leathery blend, featuring an interesting vegetal note that’s described as “blueberry, dill, and fennel” though I get something a bit more subdued, a light salad somewhere between savory and fruit. The whole blend is very pleasant, though and while vaguely reminiscent of other fragrances I’ve tried (think a fresher, less intense Guerlain Santal Royal). It’s quite nice, overall, as the leather and rose are sophisticated and paired well, not overwhelming. Like the rest of the house, this is priced at $55 for 15ml and is sold in a rollerball form in extrait concentration by boutiques like Ministry of Scent. 7 out of 10

I like this one. It's a sexy rose and really mostly that's all I get, I sadly don't get the dill but maybe I would on skin. I honestly think that nevertheless123 put it perfectly. I couldn't summarize it better than them. I get a hint of leather, which for a second reminded me of IKEA? But that was a split second and then it was back to rose. I like it, but it's not my favourite rose that I've smelled.

i was sniffing my wrist like a crazy person trying to recall what this smells like and i got it: slow burn from boy smells, the best candle of all time (fact). dark, sensual, deep smokiness. incense and rose with a natural earthiness that just feels like a hug. a very suggestive hug. sits close to the skin like most oils, but something like this should. one of the brand’s best for sure.

Rose accord with touch of patchouli and oud in the background in oil. It leans towards floral orientals and is a good choice for you if not into alcohol based scents.

Accrodisiaque is a strangely pleasant and enjoyable scent, one which keeps me on my toes - I can’t decide whether I like it, or I’m simply indifferent. It’s a unique take on tea, with unusual fruity and floral facets. The tea itself is rather green and dry, almost a bit earthy, which is fairly standard. However from here it begins to unfold into a green, almost herbal direction with sweet blueberries and unready roses at the forefront. As it settles, there are hints of woods and cypriol, but this is subtle. This is one of those scents which I piqued my interest as I initially applied it to my skin, and then the more it settled, the less interested I became. The notes on paper look wildly interesting, but the resulting scent is surprisingly boring and uninteresting unfortunately.

Ok it's not a bad perfume at all but It's really not my type. I blind bought because I ordered from France on the brand website and I won't really wear this one ... It's a vegetable dark rose scent. On me it is quite masculine. I can almost smell some leather ? I was curious based on the notes but I don't get most of them besides the rose and some dark greenaccords. A bit disappointed, I was expecting to smell much more. I think it can quite sexy on a man I think :) It stays closed to the skin but smells forever. Good quality.

It's very round around the edges, pleasant and easy to like (like all Versatile), but I'm not overly convinced. I think it lacks direction somehow. Is it making the best of the rose note? In my opinion, no. This is rose-vegetable. A very green rose. The rose is of course prominent, but not overly so. As previous reviewer mentioned, this is very balanced. I feel it's a bit here-and-there. Although, still a very nice perfume. It just doesn't strike a chord with me.

A muted rose; as the first tone settles, leather and animalic notes begin to emerge. It quickly transforms into a skin scent with long-lasting longevity.

My least favorite of the house bc the dill and rose together are just kind of weird. 😝

I try to be balanced in my reviews, so I will just say of this one that if you like a powerful, balanced rose scent you will likely adore this! It is a great scent, just not to my personal note taste.

i was fascinated by the notes listed for this perfume, but the result is... puzzling, to say the least. i find the beginning almost harshly green with a jammy rose, which is quite interesting though nearly migraine-inducing. then the leather appears and you know for sure the party's over. i had to scrub this off.

Since accro in French slang means nothing less than a junkie, and 'aphrodisiakós' literally translates from Greek as 'venereal', the very name of this perfume heralds some indecently intoxicating experience. And that's how it really is. In my opinion, this is largely due to the heterogeneous aroma of dill. There are dill seeds burned as incense to break medieval spells. There is dried dill, which helps to get rid of unhealthy habits, and freshly picked dill, which brides add to their wedding bouquets, believing that it will ensure a good marriage. Here, the intriguing paradox of dill (the ancient Egyptians used it both to repel witches and as an important aphrodisiac supplement) is fully revealed. Such a perverse witch hammer is hidden in this inconspicuous bottle. Because it seems to be dedicated to witches who are not afraid of any inquisition. Those who catch roses with their thorns. Thanks to the Damascone molecule, we get a rose on steroids, with an intense tobacco and plum undertone. Timbersilk adds sophistication, a kind of narcotic, cedar burn. There is also Helvetolide, a fabulous combination of herbal musk and ripe peaches, straight from Piguet's best creations. Milky and nutritious Siamese benzoin shimmers in the background, with a noticeable accord of spicy vanilla. Berries in such a cluster - nomen omen - have a forest, wild, vinous sweetness. Violet leaves, initially sharp, grassy and ozonic, a moment later dusty, hidden somewhere at the bottom of the cedar box. Cypriol, like fennel, shows all its faces here. So it is expressive and calming at the same time, deep and enveloping, like the best weekend in a small cabin somewhere in the forest. To sum up: a fantastic post-fougere (with absolutely terrible durability) or a lazily dignified brandy for dill/y sorceresses.

Very complex pyramid because of the amount of notes from which it is composed. Sadly, very few times I have been won over by scents in oil, and this is unfortunately not the case. Trying it on skin, and reading that perception changes from person to person ( as is normal to be ), I perceive a very delicate play of notes around a blooming rose, very realistic. Otherwise, I do mea culpa, I did not find anything in it that won me over. I reserve the time to try the other fragrances in the line, so maybe I can understand what it is about them that stops me from appreciating their evolution.

Stunning rose and leather 🥀 Initial scent is quite vegetal with hints of fennel and dill, but after just 30 minutes it becomes darker and more animalic 🐆 It reminds me of Tom Ford "Noir de Noir" , which I had a few years ago and never quite got along with. This feels more relaxed and easy to wear compared to that. I cannot stop sniffing my arm - a very addictive and sultry scent. Where "L'Ombre dans L'Eau" is a fruity fresh rose surrounded by greenery on a bright spring day, this is a dark red rose in an old Parisian apartment surrounded by leather-bound books.

I somehow, half asleep clicked "pay now" in my shopify, when I really thought I was scrolling to he next scent description. Guess I have an additional Birthday treat arriving in my mailbox right before my weekend away (happy 40th to me 🤣🫶). I'll be back soon to review this. Im inclined to u fairly judge it a veija coochie (thankyou DanielReneMusic) because it has more than 15 notes & the inclusion of animal notes. Will this be my new signature scent? Will it replace my beloved Lattafa Bayaan or Zimaya Luxor? ☺️

hypnotic, venomous. it’s like doing a shot of black tar heroin in all its thick syrupy danger. its a rose yes but she made understand what a sweet jammy rose is if it were blood red-black and in soil. a truly addictive scent. accrodisiaque is the sexiest woman you’ll never have a chance with. she’s too much for you, too wild, but you light her cigarettes without her needing to ask. when she hugs you the scent lingers on your clothes—heady, poisonous and dangerous.

A dark sensuous rose with a green vegetal facet and every so often it smells bright and then you smell it again and get dark sensuous rose. A beautiful composition but I like my rose scents light and airy, however, I appreciate the complexities of this scent. IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

This is a genuinely life-altering vegetal spicy rose. The closest thing I've smelled is Jorum Studio's Highland Rose, but I find this to be more addictive and wearable. It hangs close to the skin but is enveloping and perfect. Bravo!!

This is the “skin scent dupe”of Guerlain Santal Royal. Its less beast mode , less projection and sillage than SR but for somebody who doesnt like when a perfume is very strong this is a great dupe for Santal Royal.
