Very Bad Rice Extrait de Parfum

Successful blind buy! I love that Versatile came up with spray perfumes instead of the roller ones. Mango sticky rice perfume, with lots of lactonic rice accords. I thought it will be sweeter from the mango but it’s not the case. Ube note makes it more nutty and earthy, very interesting. Great price value. Longevity is medium, not a very loud perfume.

This is a lactonic and definitely not one-dimensional. I LOVE IT 😍 It can be overwhelming on a test strip but it will be a lot better sprayed on yourself guaranteed

Honestly, I didn't like this the first time I sprayed it. It smelled like sour mangos that are starting to turn to rot. The more I wear it the more I am starting to love it .... If you can get past the sour notes at the beginning and wait for the dry down, you will be met with a creamy, savoury and almost photorealistic mango sticky rice drydown. I have been going about my day to day, then when I bend or move I get a whiff of this. It's super unique, nothing I have smells anything like this, and I would say you will struggle to find a scenario where this really 'works'. It's not really perfume-y, if that makes sense at all. But I would just wear it for the fun of it! I got a decant from someone and now seriously considering buying the full size at some point, i don't think it's (yet) one that I couldn't live without but if you are intrigued by the notes I would say definitely give a sample a try!

This is lovely and I’m so glad Versatile Paris are now doing sprays. This opens with a starchy rice, folllowed by Ube (reminds me of the Ube ice cream at Wags) with some natural mango. You then get more of the solar notes and juicy mango that’s never too sweet or sickly and the rice stays through out stopping it from being cloying. On the dry down you get a touch of the coconut peeking through. It’s savoury but with a hint of juicy mango sweetness. Very wearable and love that it’s an extrait! IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

Love the rice note opening!! But then it turns into a cocktail of mango and blueberries and its a bit boring.

It does smell like mango sticky rice, however the dry down gives me the feeling that it's just starting to go rotten. I generally like all of the notes in this perfume, and thought i would love it, but it wasn't meant to be.

This smells exactly like tinned Ambrosia rice pudding (for those in the UK). Very creamy and not overly sweet but I don’t smell any mango. Very lovely but certainly too creamy on my skin for a summer/warm weather scent.

For me, the drydown of this smells very close to the discontinued Paula‘s Ibiza Cosmic by Loewe but without sandalwood. Mango jelly or jam with a hint of coconut. Lovely but not new to my nose.
