Cuero

It's unfortunate that some seem to have had a poor experience with Verset Cuero because I have tried all of their fragrance except the two more recent offerings (Choice and D'Arte) and all are very good representations of their designer counterparts. I bought Cuero on two separate occasions (initially a 30ml travel size, then a couple of years later a 100ml full size) and I still find this to be one of the better quality interpretations of Terre D'Hermes among the so called 'inspired by...' fragrance producers. I get all the earthy-orangey-spicy-woodiness of the OG and very good performance (approx. 6-8 hours) and with a decent but not over powering sillage.

Performs great, good for winter-spring-summer-fall, price is out of this world, 20-30 EU for 100ml ''EdP'' lasting around 6+ hours which is really amazing. 90% TdH, differences are the lack of tangy orange smell with the spices strongly tingling your nose when you get the first whiff plus the lack of vetiver, which is no biggie to me. ( people say flint is also missing, but as a beginner I can't pinpoint that note in the original, either. ) On the flipside, the combination of grapefruit and patchouli is obviously more pronounced, the beloved earthiness is still there. This is a perfume of its own.

I wouldn't call this a Terre D'Hermes clone at all. Yes there are similarities, they're in the same school, but they're not brothers. It's notes are as listed - exactly so. No vetiver = no TdH. Also it's much stronger than TdH EDT. No idea how anyone can say it lasts three hours, this is one of the strongest fragrances in my wardrobe, a proper EDP. Lasts for hours and projects like a beast in hot weather. Interesting, great performance for the price, but not high class. 9/10 value 9/10 performance, far too abrasive on first spray but settles down to a warm glow. Maybe a 6.5/10 overall

Very, very nice! Inexpensive, great fragrance for spring and summer. Ladies, try it if you want a truly fres fragrance for hot days or for the gym. I like it a lot and I've been wearing it this summer, ever since the days have grown really hot. It does not smell synthetic and it does not break down with time. Even the longevity is decent.

I don't know how other TDH clones are performing because I didn't bought any, found this in a local pharmacy and bought it, despite the notes here on fragrantica, this one has that super combo of pepper and citruses and it performs very well. Plus that I receive compliments while wearing this and it smells great.

Performance and notes are much better than Terre d’Hermes , this gets more complaints than TdH , if you think of Terre and have the budget for it then get Cuero , you’ll be happy twice .

Spot on DdH! ~90% similarity. No need to look for arab clones (they tend to be a bit screechy) - this one is perfect replacement.

Almost identical to the TdH 90-95% depending on your nose. For the price you can't go wrong with this one. Especially good to have this for running errands, daily wear and keep the TdH for special occasions. Of course the original has more depth and is a bit sweeter in the mid tones, but overall Verset has REALLY nailed the opening for this one, its just a bit more linear than the original. Good performance, I can feel it above 6-7 hours still, projects really nice for about 1.5h but you can still get whiffs when moving for as much as it stays with you, which again is in range of max 8h. Really cheap tho and you can easily overspray with the added benefit that it's not cloying, so a banger clone overall. edit: recommend other really well-done clones: Look this (SWY armani), Island (sauvage edp), Stone (bvlgari men in black)

I find it quite subtle. I have never smelled Terre so I can't compare; it gives the sense of not being very complex, but very pleasant. A solid office fragrance. Cheap, and feels difficult to dislike, and so it's reliable. Quite masculine, and feels like it would be right at home in a board room. Not a party fragrance, but could be used at Bella Italia for a smart casual meal with a partner. Having worn this for a little while, I'd err towards overspraying, and carry a travel atomiser. It seems to drop down to a skin scent after two hours or so. Would probably not buy again.

I can not consider this fragrance a clone for TdH but it's similar to it. Although I wouldn't recommend it as a replacement for TdH I'd definetly recommend it as something with the same vibe. It smells very qualitative for the price so I don't believe that you waste money by buying it!

Another wanna be Terre d'Hermes. It seems that is relative on its opening but its a linear citrus and pepper smell that goes all the way until it fades. No earth,no Vetiver,not cedar, not that heavenly lingering aura.. But for its price it's more than okay.

It's a real steal for the bargain price you can get on this one. Not too synthetic, almost identical to TdH.

Sometimes it can be a lot of fun seeking out similar smelling versions of popular releases. Other times it can be frustrating to find that well reviewed clone isn't anywhere near as good or as close as you hoped and the performance is average at best. You quickly realise that you are chasing something that doesn't exist - that is until you pick up a bottle of this beauty. This is head and shoulders above any of the other versions of Terre D'Hermes and projects strongly with great staying power. It's on a par with the original release. Pick up a bottle and come back and leave your findings here. Best thing is it's under £20 for a big 100ml bottle. I will leave a review of a couple of other ones I have coming.

Smells like grapefruit and cardamon. Fresh and doesn't smell cheap. It reminded me of Terre d'Hermes by Hermes and Black Forest by Al Ambra when I smelled it.
