Vivian

So Narciso white cube is one of my favourite ever scents, I'm heartbroken it got discontinued. This is a very good dupe for it. I would say that it's just a bit less refined than Narciso. Everything about the white cube is perfection, the gardenia and rose are very delicate but creamy and sharp. The musk is absolutely beautiful, very sensual, deep, sexy and skin like. The vetiver and cedar add a glorious depth and sharpness. The dry down is very lotiony and when I shower at night before bed, it is still there after 10+ hours, and the steam from the shower releases the most sensual lotiony, warm skin like musk ever, I LOVE it. Narciso Rodriguez said about Narciso "I wanted to create an extremely sexy fragrance that would turn a man’s head...The sensuality becomes a little bit more sexy, a little bit more intoxicating.” This is a very accurate description! It's one of those fragrances that makes my eyes roll into the back of my head when I smell it! With Vivian, I just feel like it's a 9/10 as a dupe. The florals just aren't quite as refined and delicate. They are beautiful yes, but just a bit more rough around the edges and they don't have the same cleanliness, clarity and delicate edges that the white cube does. I can smell the delicate white rose in Narciso and I only really get the heady gardenia in Vivian, but it's extremely close. The musk is again - ALMOST there, but it is a 9/10. It's just a bit rough around the edges. It's like the musk in Narciso does a very good job at being on the cusp of "dirty", it's just on the edge of that it is clean or is it dirty? Warm, sensual and sexy skin line. It's as though Vivian is just slightly the wrong side and it's a bit more dirty and less sensual and sexy than Narciso. You smell them side by side and I can tell that Narciso is just more expensive and well made. Every part of it is intentional. It's like hearing a really good cover band of your absolute favourite song - it's an amazing cover and it's almost perfect, but it's just not quite right, they're just missing that essential spark, the intention and the understanding about what Narciso EDP was meant to be. It's like Vivian copied the homework but you can tell she doesn't understand the brief, she just copied it and doesn't have the same understanding and complexity. Narciso has incredible longevity but does drop to a skin scent for me after a few hours. Longevity is excellent but definitely doesn't project on me. Vivian on the other hand, projects for 10+ hours and lasts forever too, and it's also cheap and very readily available online and at chemists in the UK. It's a very good copy, but it's just that. If you smell it side by side and up close, you can tell the difference if you know the fragrance well.

This is an amazing dupe for Narciso EDP. Creamy, powdery, sweet, lactonic goodness. Very good projection and lasting power. So much so that it has to be applied cautiously. I'm so happy I found it so I don't have to live without my beloved old signature scent. Update: I really don’t know how Verset does it that they deliver such great quality on that affordable price point. The other day for my last order, I have received a sample from them, a new mans fragrance called Due Monti. It is not yet in the database, but let me tell you, when I sprayed it, my eyes rolled back in my head.. it is a dupe for H24 H’ermes and its an outstanding fragrance. We love it with my husband, its on the wishlist.

What can I say? I am a sucker for musky perfumes. The drydown on this one, oh my g, soapy, flowery. And than, after a while, a lovely woody musk. Not to heavy, not to sharp, not offensive, really lovely. I have never smelled the white Narciso, but I love that perfume house. (Narciso for her (EDP) is my favourite perfume, Verset’s Andrea for her is the dupe from this house for that and it is also AMAZING and I am not surprised if this is also an amazing dupe of the original Narciso, white bottle) For now it’s my favourite scent and I ordered a 100 ml bottle after using a 15 ml in less than a week haha

This is soooooo nice. I have to recommend this to all the people that love pretty feminine rosey musky perfumes. This is an inspired by narcisso narcisso perfume (the one in the white cube now discontinued). The beauty of verset perfumes is if you want to blind buy but you unsure you can buy a 15ml for under £10. The sillage on this is a bit more than arms length and the longevity is amazing. 12 hours later I can still smell it on my clothes. Another 100ml bottle ordered and on the way

Just received a 15ml bottle, since Narciso (white cube) is sadly discontinued. That was MY SCENT! This is a very very good dupe. Super affordable and smells identical. I’m always skeptical when it comes to dupes, because something is also off or not quite right, but in this case, this is a 1 to 1 copy. Just don’t know how the longevity is, as I only just sprayed it, but so far so good. EDIT: The Projection and longevity is AMAZING! This is the best dupe, I’ve ever tried.

Word of advice - when you get this spray it away from you for one or two pumps and then put it away for a few days. When I first sprayed it stank of hospital chemicals and powder. I left it for 4/5 days and decided to give it another spray and this time it is pretty much an exact copy of Narciso. I have both on my arm right now and can’t tell which is which. Perfect!

I'm wondering what kind of nose do those 15 people have who think it is not even similar to the og. It is identical. Since I started to wear this version, pleople always make a comment - oh you wear your former signature perfume again? On me it is an absolute beast.

Clean, creamy, floral and woody, the result could a be sterile but it’s the contrary. Imagine a rose soap bar rubbed on a nude skin in a milky bath. The steamy atmosphere is almost voyeuristic. Intimacy right down to the soul, you little sinner.

This is impressive stuff! I’ve just tested it directly alongside the sadly discontinued Narciso EDP, and it must take a more discerning nose than mine to tell the difference! Amazing value, and I’m glad this lovely scent lives on!

I'm not sure how Narciso Rodriguez Narciso EDP "White Cube" can be discontinued when the perfume is so coveted but it is. Trying to locate bottles has become difficult; the price point makes purchasing White Cube prohibitive. After exploring Fragrantica reviews and other social media, I purchased a new bottle of Verset "Vivian" that shipped from Greece to the USA. And honestly, I am pleasantly surprised at the close similarities between Vivian and White Cube. Even though gardenia is not a listed floral note in Vivian, the fragrance wears 99% identical to Narciso White Cube. The opening floral notes in Vivian are not as intense as White Cube's opening notes. And to my nose, any gardenia note in Vivian is not well-defined like the gardenia note in White Cube. Also, the initial musk notes in Vivian lack the depth & complexity that are notable with the musk notes in White Cube. But Vivian's dry down is almost identical to White Cube's dry down. Both perfumes land as beautiful, musky, mixed white floral fragrances. And I DEFINITELY smell something akin to gardenia in the dry down phase of Vivian. I'm beaugarding my latest 90ml bottle of White Cube. But I'm appreciative I located Vivian! The fragrance is lovely, it really is!!

I never got the chance to smell the original, but I've always been curious about it - I've loved almost everything by NR that I've smelled. Obviously, I can't say how similar this is to the original, but I'm quite impressed! It doesn't smell cheap at all, which is pretty remarkable, considering the price. I only get rose in the opening, then, it quickly dries down to a really nice clean creamy musk. A little bit lactonic, almost. What makes it stand out to me, however, is that I get the tiniest bit of something camphor-like in the background. Aromatic and medicinal are the words that come to mind. Sounds weird, but it totally works! Will definitely use up the 15 ml that I got.

I have just received three 15ml bottles from this perfume company (Vivian, Jana and Rouge) and am very impressed with their products. Vivian is a very pleasant, long lasting, musky, floral, powdery scent. I have never smelt Narciso Rodriguez so can't compare, but Vivian is a lovely perfume in it's own right. I sprayed it on my skin in the afternoon and could still smell it quite strongly when I went to bed! Worth the money.

It smells like narciso edp. Wow, didn;t expect that and price of this is so low. I also own narciso rouge, I started liking it more than edp narciso but this will be a good replacement.

Nice, clean, soapy perfume, perfect for summer.

Initially, I was disappointed with this as it seemed inordinately light. But, I gave it a couple of goes over a few weeks and realised that actually, the longevity and sillage aren't bad at all. It's one of those scents I don't seem to go nose blind to, so you get wafts of a pleasant musky rose aroma throughout the day. I never tested the original Narciso, but have three other NR perfumes and definitely get the same vibe from this. It would be excellent for someone who works in close proximity to others and doesn't want to wear anything too heavy/potentially offensive. Also a nice heavy, smart-looking bottle.

This is simply atrocious! I might have smelled 1-2 other fragrances that made me so furious. Dirty musk.

My new signature. A combination of many perfumes in one,you can smell Terre d' Hermes on the vetyver side and then all the woody notes,very creamy,very orbital aldehydes, spatial, with many sides of it coming and going,the florals are well blended without being too femenine. The powdery accord feels right without feminizing the perfume or compromising its gender duality,I like powdery notes anyway. Vivian is absolutely fantastic and the quality is almost niche in my opinion. Projection is beast,you can be noticed meters ahead. I get always compliments when I wear it. I have never smelled Narciso Rodriguez for woman but now I am curious to find a bottle,any one for a sampler exchange? The price is a steal. I really really love it. 100% recomended.Unisex.

Lighter than narciso edp as above. Smells less synthetic and lasts for ages. I didn't give this a chance to test the Sillage but can imagine it's definately stronger than Andrea which is the narciso for her smellalike.
