Auramber

Very weird reviews here. Auramber is obviously an amber centric fragrance. Amber in here is very earthy. You get woods, patchouli and a very beautiful labdanum. No freshness at all. It performs very well, lasts long.

Original review: Decant. Incredibly bizarre fragrance. Doesn't smell bad, but I don't know who would want to have their person smell like this. Smells like a barbecue pit. I like this scent, just not on a human... But then: A few hours later, I found myself loving it. It doesn't have much sillage, but leaves a very unique and spicy skin scent that layers well with others. I layered this a patchouli heavy and floral fragrance, Moonflower by M. Hainey and it worked out really well. I can't see myself committing to a full bottle but still really cool stuff for my taste.

Sexy, smoked amber. Animal lust type stuff. Unisex with a masculine lean. This falls in line with other scents from the house, but stands out in that it’s more interesting. Almost a 😍. I dig it. 100% getting a phat decant.

Smells like someone is grilling meat on a pit to me. Lovely spicy meat at that. Haven’t eaten one in ages but the scent lingers fresh in my memory and this is it.

Opening has the smokey note quite prevalent. Smoke in this case is not a smell like wood smoke or a campfire but it's sharper. Resembled black pepper. As it dried down the smoke retreated a bit so the amber could show itself better with the dry wood as the base. Didn't really get any animal note. Fragrance is very dry and sharp, not a hint of sweetness, almost bitter, so I'd rate this as a masculine fragrance. Quite a change from the Ambre Sultan I tested recently. Performance is quite good. Got a nice seven and a half hours out of it. Now, over 10 hours and I still get a mild whiff when I move. Projection was more moderate for the first couple of hours. Nice and a different amber treatment. Didn't wow me though. Don't think I'm going to get it.

The combo smells like roasted, BBQ, smokey black pepper. The patchouli has the "chocolate cake effect". Not so much a cake, as this has no sweetness to it. It's more of a chocolate protein powder vibe. Overall smells like smokey black pepper, bordering on curry. It's not listed, but I get a curry accord. It's not a projector. It's pricey. But it has clear intent. I could see some people liking it. It's a 4/10 for me but I could see some people liking it.

This is something new. Different from standard interpretation towards the definition of amber like syrupy thick. This is smoky indeed. I may relate on why they named it as "Aura". Could feel the sensation of having "smoky cape" within my body when wearing it. However on my nose, i can't go with that animal notes despite of trying for few times. Then i give up. Its just not click to me. Its airy, its aromatic, warm, and sometimes got confuse with the animal note to leather. Recommended to wear in winter and cold season, air conditioning environment. Its absolutely unique, great projection and longevity. Never imagined that i no longer have this in my collection. Nothing came across to me this reminds to what, or similar vibe to which fragrance.

A slightly smoky amber, with very subtle animalic notes, I would call it a misty fragrance. Oh yes, it blurs the sense of smell, it is mysterious but with a great personality. Not easy to wear, suitable for winter seasons.

A hidden Baccarat rouge underneath middle and top notes
