Night Dose

Slight animalic powdery spice... I get that powdery sandalwood, with powdered orris, fruitti patchouli, powdered saffron, amber, & a tpuch of musky coconut. This is powder under the frame of herbal, & resins. The roses are hazy, with a touch of fruits, and woods. This blend is quite impressive with its tender yet animalic touch. It has that luring effect that mingles vintage, European, and Arabian style. Beautiful.

What stands out most is the split personality: on skin it's concentrated and heavily spiced, but the sillage reads much lighter and finer from a distance — almost a different scent. Longevity is excellent, easily lasting from morning to evening, with oakmoss slowly taking over by the end of the day while sandalwood, amber, and tobacco stay in support. Not linear at all — it unfolds in acts.

I'm not the type of collector who is exceptionally talented at picking out specific notes and framing stories around a fragrance. But I can tell you this juice smells good and makes me feel like Joan Crawford on a good day. To my nose it's is giving a deep, almost savory caramel and makeup/powdered type of smell. This was money well spent.

I’ve tried over 1000+ niche fragrances, and I haven’t smelled anything like this. Opens up with sweet and tart fruits, then you get florals, with a sharp green oakmoss in the drydown. This fragrance house is very niche, and this scent is no exception. You will not smell this on just anyone at the grocery store. This is definitely challenging, and I recommend sampling it because it is very extraordinary. Although I like this, this isn’t an everyday perfume. I will only wear this around people who will understand the art of fragrances. If you took away the fruity opening and the oakmoss in the drydown, you will be left with a very floral vintage fragrance. I can see people calling this vintage if they are not skilled at picking up fragrance notes. I am in my 20’s and I will be wearing this, it’s about who can pull it off.

There is nothing old lady about this fragrance but it isn't one everyone can pull off. Even though I really love it, I am not sure how often I will wear this. It's extraordinarily sexy and memorable and it doesn't make a casual statement. It is a delectable juicy, sweet bouquet of tropical fruits like coconut and flowers melting into a bed of beautifully blended rich, dark, notes. I swear it has oud in it as it reminds me of Sweetie Aoud by Roja Dove which is $600 by the way compared to this which is half the price. I think this is a much better scent although it's less earthy and doesn't have the iris that sweetie has. It's also giving very distant whiffs of Velvet Orchid and Coco Noir (which people also tend to describe as mature).

To me this is all about the Mirabelle and plum. And it’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s very sweet and fleshy juicy plum. I do get a slight coconut vibe in the mid with a floral touch but it’s blended so well it’s hard to distinguish any other notes. Fragrance tends to lean feminine in beginning but turns more male In full drydown. Definitely Worth sampling. Also try 1001, it’s a wonderful super unique unisex carnation and cinnamon frag. 8.5/10.

Somebody below said they felt like Joan Crawford, and I kind of agree, in my case it makes me feel like Humphrey Bogart, is complex, elegant, classy and hard to describe with masculine and feminine nuances, powdery yet floral and earthy, this is a dressed kind of fragrance that will elevate whatever your wearing. It is as weird as it is captivating.

I never expected this perfume to perform so brutally in 25-30°C weather, but its performance is absolutely outstanding. The scent itself reminds me of Erba Pura—fruity, clean, and simply amazing. I love it!

Now this is one weird one. It reminds me of chlorine or other cleaning agents. Strange as it may sound, it has a sort of an attraction to me. The scent is quite likable.

This is an interesting one. I don’t find it unpleasant, but I also don’t find it super yummy like what I expected from the notes. I mostly smell grapefruit with something else. No amber or tobacco, or coconut or peach or rose. I think this would be nice in the summer or late spring during the day. Jeans and t-shirt type of scent. That all that I get.

Rose dominant. Nice, fruity profile with an overbearing note of something very unique (mirabelle?). Tart. Sits on an annoying bed of saffron. Night Dose doesn’t really work. Lacks harmony. 😑

I purchased Night Dose after done numerous online research. Read and think with high hope to be beyond then i took the liberty with open mind and blind nose to get it before out of stock. Only left one piece. Once i sprayed and i was amazed with quality. YES! YES! YES! A successful blind buy. It scent itself is very high quality. It is the niche in its league. Fruity and floral. Very nice and well done. The fruity accord is strong and juicy. Yes juicy that my imagination of fruits going through between my teeth squeezing the juice. Then i get the rose but not that rosey that i have in my collection. I get the musk and wood as well. Its not linear but its not that like very complicated. Well blended nicely. Today i am full wearing it to office with my scooter. The projection, sillage and longevity are excellent. Thank God. Well done Vertus!.If you looking for the photorealistic fruity accord other than Xerjoff or other brands, you may add Vertus into your perfume collection. The sprayer is excellent with magnetic cap.The box is ordinary with simple elegant bottle design. In my opinion its suitable during day, fall and summer but not that in very hot day. It smells nothing like Erba Pura and has ZERO cleaning agent or chlorine vibes. Some of y'all need to have your reviewers license revoked 😬 please don't listen to these reviews as I actually own a full bottle of this so I've had time to sit with it. Let me help y'all out real quick if you're seriously considering this scent. It's plum/floral heavy. I don't really get the other fruit notes because of how well they're blended in with the plum. My mom said it leaned feminine, I disagree as this is totally unisex. Has a darkness to it that keeps it from leaning fem. It's a nighttime scent. Cold to moderate weather, but can be worn at night in the spring. Wouldn't recommend as a daytime scent. Saffron note blends right into the plum. Me likes. Alright so this thing projects and the lasting power is a beast mode plum nuke bomb. Highly recommended for a date night but spray moderately unless you wanna suffocate them cause this shit is thick in the air. People will probably ask what the hell you're wearing cause the sillage it leaves behind is straight up chef's kiss 🤌🏻 Not as versatile but truly perfect for the occasions you would wear it on. Smells like old lady who is hip and in touch with the young people. It’s sophisticated but relaxed. It also reminds me of hair products but I like it!
