so I got this about two days ago. I was disappointed that there was no review on it in 2024!!Anyway, I just decided take the plunge. First spray...hmmm ..it was just to harsh ,something so dark with seemingly no direction but boy was I wrong!! As time went on it progressed into sth sweet powdery still with a darkness about it...the vanilla and the oud kind standout in the dry down together with the wood. Like burnt wood. its so beautiful in the dry down oh .... i love it . Its turning out to be my favorite already... be careful on the trigger though, its quite strong with good longevity and sillage

A more vanilla, sweeter version of Amouage Interlude, Interlude leans toward smokey incense more. It is super strong, After spraying I cough few times. Recommended for outdoor more than indoor, could be used for work but it requires confidence to put on. Overall a great scent!

Ammmmazing, smells like something expensive, I don't feel harsh openings as some reviews mention. Oud is sweet and subtle, I feel the vanilla and musk notes more than woody notes but still perfectly balanced One of my faves! perfect!

This powerful scent is neither for boys, nor for 'weak-hearted' men..! In a way, allow me to say that this scent is portraying an Alpha male in anywhere he would go. So if you do not want to imply being Alpha male in some places, or sometimes, so wear something else. And yes, it is very close to Amouage Interlude; perhaps rougher little bit. Yet, it is a piece of work to be appreciated by perfume lovers.

Didn't like at first but yes similar to interlude but more like cashmere/velvet mood , actually just like. Very medicinal opening like they say even with a burn get it

Oregano aftershave. Mentholated and spicy. Green and fresh. I can smell citrus in the overtone, and patchouli, labdanum and sandalwood in the undertone. Makes for a mildly gnarly scent, especially when the oud kicks in. Might be something special for someone who likes barbershop fougeres. Dry down is the best part. However, the misuse of oud here really cancels out the freshness and undoes the fragrance for me. Just under a 🙂 to my nose.

MAYBE IN SCENT CATEGORY YOU SAY IT'S LIKE AMOUAGE INTERLUDE BUT FOR ME LITTLE MORE SYNTHETIC THAN THAT. ANYWAY EXACTLE LIKE INTERLUDE TOO HARSH FOR ME. CANDY NOTE BESIDE WOODS THAT LAST VERY LONG TIME BUT CAN MAKE HEADACHE. FOR ME SAMPLE IS ENOUGH.5/10 می تونید بوی این عطر رو ذقیقا در راسته امواج اینترلود قرار دهید ولی به نظرم مصنوعی تر و سر درد آور تر از اون است. خیلی خلی ماندگاره و باعث سر درد من شد. برای من همون سمپل 2 میل بسه. یه بوی آب نبات چوبی داغ با چوب میده . 5/10

ombre by vertus=interlude by amouage اومبر ورتوس=اینترلود آمواژ بااین تفاوت که اینترلود یک مقدار تلخیشو بیشتر از این حفظ میکنه اومبر رفته رفته شیرین میشه ولی هردو از نظر ماندگاری و پخش بو مثل همن و تا چند روز ول‌ کن نیستن ماندگاریو پخش بوی خیلی بالایی داره،اگه واقعا ماندگاری و پخش بو فقط واستون مهمه این یکی حتما پیشنهاد میشه اگرم رایحه اشو پسندیدید که دیگه هیچ مشکلی نخواهید داشت واسه خریدش ولی خودم به شخصه اینترلودو ترجیح میدم هم شناخته شده تره هم به نظر میاد اینا از رو اونا اسکی رفتن!

This is a very strange fragrance. I could not understand what was the "unknown" note that I felt present at the opening together with the bergamot, and which remains for most of the fragrance: oregano! Yes, it really seems like the smell of the fresh leaves of this aromatic plant, which then leaves space to the labdanum, creating a strong and at the same time new combination. To be felt absolutely, I personally wouldn't be able to wear it, but it has expanded my olfactory panorama.

So this is obviously not a blind buy safe with a harsh dark opening most likely because of the oregano note however, the dry down is absolutely gorgeous.
