21 Bonaparte 1964

This is really soft and pretty. The opening was an overly alcoholic, quite unpleasant burst of soap smelling fruits (Mostly the pineapple, a little bit of pear and apple). But then when it dried down, it is the most powdery, delicate beautiful thing. I wish I could smell this part strongly. UNBELIEVABLY weak however, I have to bury my nose in my arm to even get a little bit of it. Longevity and sillage is almost non-existent. This will have to be a bed-time comfort scent for me. Update: This went from a like to a love! I don't care how weak it is. It is creamy, powdery, fruity, sweet and totally totally lovely.

This is a very underrated fragrance. This is a sweet, powdery iris based scent. The praline and vanilla gives it that sweetness smell. I can't detect any of the other notes but i don't need to because the iris, praline and vanilla alone is so devine! This has a moderate longevity with very little projection. It's more of a close to skin scent, which is okay because this is a soft and inoffensive scent. There are a couple of listings on eBay at very affordable prices. I would suggest getting a bottle before they sell out or the prices go back up. Scent: 10/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 6/10

Great fragrance, and a great value. This fragrance reminds me of two: MMM’s Lipstick On and CK Eternity Intense. Not sure if sillage or longevity but like someone else said, who cares if you have to keep applying it? This is delicious... 8/10

This was a blind buy, i love it. What stands out to me first is the warm powdery note. Its comforting and fresh. I dont really smell any fruit notes at the moment. I guess i will wait a while for the dry down to see how its sits on my skin.

Warm, lovely, soft, stays, relaxing, pretty, cuddly. Body cream alone is amazing, the fume is elegant. Love and cuddles.

The lotion smells a bit like Lolita Lempicka. Right down to a lightly sulfuric violet note. It caught me off guard! I like it and want the perfume now. Edit: the juice is weak, it's true! I should probably de-stash it, but for now it stays.

Wear this in warm spring and you'll get all the deliciousness you're expecting by the notes you see. It's one of a kind gorgeous 🥰 its so creamy soft sensual . I love it 💗

The unopened, sealed bottle I bought may have went off because the perfume has lost its potency. Mine came in a clear-purple gradient bottle with a gold emblem "1964." I expected a skinscent when I purchased it, but the performance of my bottle fell short of that expectation. I am usually satisfied with one spray, and I had to spray this about 8 times to detect this scent. At first, I got a blurry, pure sugar scent. It settled a bit, and the white musk began to peek through. (It's a bit like Warm Vanilla Sugar or the hair mist version of Clean Reserve Skin.) It is so faint and almost watery...the pear note perhaps? I didn't even get any powdery iris from mine. I think I am only getting the base notes. It is still pleasant on my skin. I'll let it sit for a few months and see if it changes.

I was curious about this one. I noticed 1964 in a shop where I was buying some much more expensive perfumes, and the good reviews on this cheap fragrance really piqued my curiosity. I really enjoy CK Eternity Intense (mentioned by a reviewer as similar), and also other soft feminine scents that aren't overly fruity / floral / heavy. I also found lovely the ombre purple bottle with gold letters. So for $11, I gave this one a try. I agree with many reviewers-- This perfume probably has the WORST sillage EVER in a perfume!!! It reminds me more of a body splash. However....there is the softest trail of femininity out of this fragrance. Beautiful. Soft, light, creamy and pretty. Indeed similar to a very light CK Eternity Intense (but more aromatic), and also very similar to Avon Attraction or Avon Far Away Beyond (but softer and more lactonic). I'm overall happy with 21 Bonaparte 1964....it was my favorite purchase amongst other perfumes from Mercedes, Dolce & Gabbana, and Amouage! This one was the best...even though it wears as a very soft scent! I would describe 1964 as modern, soft, fruity, vanilla, and musky fragrance. Easy wear for the office as well.

I really like this perfume, I don't like the original 21 Bonaparte. 1964 is a mature perfume, I would say upper 20's early 30's and so on. Perfume is for anyone, and it really depends on what you like. This is a powdery perfume, which I usually don't like, but is done just right. The praline, musk, and vanilla are together through this whole perfume, which is where I think the powdery begins. I can also smell the iris, and a light pineapple, that's about it. This perfume is exclusive to HSN I bought the perfume that comes with the scarf. I'm going to be doing a review of this perfume on youtube.com/ewonderham. Overall I give this perfume a 8/10.

I really like this fragrance! It's a fruity, fresh, powdery Iris fragrance. Impressively versatile. I could see anyone from 18-100 years old wearing this. I like the original Bonaparte 21 but this goes a completely different direction and stands on its own two feet. Try it! Good longevity and silage.
