Pour L'Amour

The vanilla and Amber are the prominent notes. Then a bit of lime peeping through at the end. Mmmmmmm! Smells like Burberry Brit for women but sweeter and a bit stronger. Longevity is average - about six hours. Love, love, love this one!

First impression: This is a vanilla Amber with a little touch of sweetness. I am not smelling patchouli at all. (Glad for that I don't like patchouli) I love this!

I find Vicky Tiel perfumes I've tried, at best, totally gorgeous and lovely (Sirene) and, at worst, interesting (Ethere), which is why I blind bought this for a decent price online. Pour L'Amour is neither totally gorgeous nor interesting. It has a fresh shampooey quality, to me, which is definitely pleasant, but nothing worth writing home about. The initial spritz, though, actually smelled bad in a chemical way, to me, but improved as it dries down. In fact, by 90 minutes or so in, it's quite pretty and doesn't lose much punch. However, that being said, it's still just kind of meh to me. I have other sweet amber/citrus florals that I prefer: Ted Lapidus White Soul, Roberto Cavalli, and Michael Kors Sexy Amber. So, it's a bottle I will be selling or passing on to someone who'll better appreciate it.

To me, my nose, the amber, and patchouli battle it out in this one, meaning that neither of those notes " become " " too overwhelming " to me this is the perfect patchouli, and amber perfume you are ever going to find. To me it's best at night time, but I also think that's it's a great base perfume to layer with her daytime perfume Femme Absolute which both of these are on HSN, and I highly recommend them both, and the other perfumes HSN has of hers especially 21 Bonaparte 1964.

I don’t get amber... I get a strange vanilla, sweet, and a little fruity. Not sure why this reminds me of Victoria’s Secret stores in the 1990s & 2000s. I’m a fan of amber so I expected to like this, but it’s just ok. I gave it away.
