21:50 Rêverie

Gorgeous and complex woody vanilla that somehow manages to be different from counterparts like Lune Feline, By the Fireplace and Black Tie, though I would say its in that ballpark. I find 21:50 Reverie to have a dry woodiness rather than smokiness to it, and where Lune Feline is warmed with cardamom and cinnamon, this one is warmed by a cracked creme brulee and plum compote. In that way it's a bit softer and cosier. However, all through the vanilla dry-down I can discern that enduring hot, dry wood, keeping it interesting and more evocative than most vanillas. I don't know what's happening with the reviews of this - it seems like some people have taken against it before perhaps they have had a chance to sample it. Also, whilst I don't know many of the alleged 'smellalikes', either people or Ai seem to be selecting perfumes that either have the word "posh" or "spice" in, which isn't that helpful in working out how this fragrance smells. For me, it's most like Black Tie, because of a kind of dry boxiness to the vanilla that I find incredibly moreish. Well, I've worked my way through a couple of samples and come to the conclusion it's addictive! I actually like all of Victoria Beckham's line, with Portofino being a close second, for very different reasons. A brilliant new release, made expertly by Jérôme Epinette, and I would say not typical of some of his other work. Whereas you often can spot threads of similarity across his offerings, I've not encountered this DNA before, though I hope he explores it more. Completely delicious to my nose!

I got a free discovery set after ordering some makeup off of VB's website. The samples came in a little pouch, in the form of peel off cards. So just enough product to smell, not enough to spray/test on the skin. Therefore I can only comment on the smell, not longevity/performance of the perfume. 21:50 Reverie is a lovely, lovely smell. It's unlike anything I've ever smelled before (and I've smelled hundreds of perfumes). I am usually not a fan of tobacco notes but here it's blended beautifully. I rarely qualify perfumes as sexy, however this is the vibe I'm getting from this one. It's so deep, dark, addictive. I can't stop myself from sniffing the card. If I didn't know the notes I would describe this scent as a smoky honeyed vanilla. I've just ordered some more makeup and was pleased to see a complimentary 2ml sample was added to my order. I can't wait to test this perfume on my skin and see how to performs. Definitely one I'm considering buying (not that I need any more perfume!). Will post an update in a few days, once I've received my order.

21:50 Rêverie This perfume is a warm, sophisticated, and truly sensual scent. However, I do find the initial impression a bit challenging. Currently, I'm testing it with a 10 ml sample, so I'll continue wearing it to fully evaluate it. Initially, it reminds me of grilled corn over an open fire. Thankfully, on my skin, it doesn't develop into the unpleasant notes some reviewers describe. But, after about twenty minutes, something wonderful emerges. There's a noticeable orris accord that creates a creamy, powdery vanilla. It's similar to Black Tie, but with a unique twist. The dry down is where this fragrance truly excels, transforming into a beautiful, complex woody vanilla with a mesmerizing, captivating trail. If you appreciate scents that blend the qualities of By the Fireplace and Black Tie, this one is definitely worth exploring.

Lovely, more masculine leaning vainilla, perfect autumn perfume. Out of all the scents from Posh and Jérôme Epinette, '21:50 Rêverie' is the least complex or intriguing, the least stand out or different. It's a scent that's been done a few times, nothing groundbreaking: a non-cloying, mature vanilla with woody touches and Asian vibes. Maybe that's why it's so easy to wear. It's really lovely, super wearable and dead chilled. The kind of vanilla someone who knows their stuff would wear. It reminds me a fair bit of a mix between By the Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela, Vainilla Skin by Phur and Spicebomb Infrared by Viktor & Rolf, but with its own vibe, very cold weather, proper wintery feels.

I thought I was done with vanilla until I found this incredible scent. Opens with a heavy note of tobacco leaf but fortunately this fades quickly and adds a nice rich, smoky touch to the vanilla as it dries down. The fragrance doesn’t change much once it dries down and smells to me like a nicely balanced mix of smoky, earthy vanilla with fruitiness from plum. Do not get confused though - this is mainly a vanilla scent, there is not much dark about it. The vanilla is sweet but not cloying, I would suggest this is a more mature vanilla for vanilla lovers. I struggle with a lot of the popular vanilla blends because I am sensitive to tobacco & leather, but this just hits the sweet spot.

This smells nothing like cigarettes or cigars. This smells like smoky honeyed vanilla on the drydown. Yes maybe a little tobacco at the top that fades away after dry down. This is a beautiful perfume which I just purchased the full bottle after I got my hands on the discovery set. I plan on making this my winter scent. It does remind me a little of Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli by Kayali a little, don't get me wrong I love that Kayali scent, but IMO Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli could have done less with so much tobacco and Patchouli and done something more along these lines. I find the lasting power on 21:50 Rêverie is amazing 8 hours + This is def a LOVE for me.

Don't overthink this one or dismiss it because it is from a designer/celebrity's brand (which admit I initially did). 21:50 Reverie is a really beautiful warm, plummy scent. If the scent was a color, it'd be a rich amethyst. Sometimes I get a predominant tobacco scent, which I love and DOES NOT smell like cigarettes or ashtray. And other times I get a predominantly vanilla scent. Perfect for cool summer evenings, fall, and winter. Moderate sillage and projection with Incredible longevity. I don't find any resemblance to BR540 whatsoever. Closer to Celine Black Tie and Guerlain SDV with far better performance than either of those pricey beauties.

Love it! I was looking for a nice blended tobacco vanilla perfume and this is it!It is less sweet and more complex than Tom Ford tabacco vanille. I didn't like TF tobacco vanille at all,although I am huge fan of a TF house. But VB made a perfect blend here. Dry and varm tobacco vanila with the fresh juicy plum. Cedar gives a woody unisex edge and makes this masterpice so sexy and mature and perfect for all seasons. I think that without cedarwood in the base,this would be a bit too much in warmer months. Gorgeous creation! The drydown reminds me of Floraiku Sand and skin, another favorite of mine.

Listen, this is not for everyone, BUT SHE IS FOR ME! This is so smooth on my skin. I get the tobacco leaf: soft and slightly aromatic. It develops to a hint of smoke that quickly dissipates and it gives me a soft vanilla in a bed of tonka and woody nuances. The plum makes a short appearance, but a pleasant one. It gives spicy hints here and there, remaining a fragrance with depth and elegance while sensual and enticing. You want a crazy combination to elevate it to and soften it if you find it too strong? Layer this with Cuir Beluga... You're welcome

Starts out smokey, ends up with an earthy vanilla. I love it. The only problem is I wish it lasted longer on my skin. This is a light and inoffensive fragrance, but overpriced. I'll repurchase it anyway since I do enjoy it and I normally don't like vanilla anything. Edited that my nose must not be working, because after spraying this on today someone outside noticed it, and I still can smell it faintly ~7 hours later. Definitely a subtle sweet scent though. A friend did ask if I was wearing Sol de Janiero. No comment.

I'm an SDV devotee, but my biggest complaints are projection and longevity. I LOVE this. I love the fresh new raw vanilla. I know who Victoria Beckham is, though I'm not too familiar with her, and I found the story behind it interesting. I believe this is real raw vanilla. My issue is that the tobacco, etc is gone in minutes. I wish it dried down to more than plain old vanilla. The vanilla itself is beautiful though, will enjoy wearing. The flask bottle makes it look more expensive than it is.

As a very picky, usually anti vanilla nose (as quick reference hate Bianco Latte and can appreciate Babycat but still not my thing)...i love this. I ordered the sample pack thinking Portofino 97 would be my first full bottle. Rev blew me away and I'm still surprised. It is deep and sexy and the tobacco vanilla i have wanted. I think this could be worn all year round although I've only had it for about a month and the high temps have not hit yet so we'll see.

Deep Sexy Vanilla This is an intoxicating vanilla perfume. The Tobacco note in this perfume is very light, there’s just enough to create a sexy cocktail lounge feeling, or a beautiful ski resort vibe (not cigarettes and smoke). The tobacco, plum, dark vanilla, and cedar wood blend beautifully together. I would encourage anyone looking for a rich, deep, sexy vanilla for fall, winter or even all year round, to give this one a sniff! It’s so good, I love it!

One of the sexiest perfumes I've tried. The advertising design - the story, the photography completely matches the scent. After the initial strong tobacco, vanilla begins to emerge. But it's neither girly nor sugary sweet, but grounded like the primal power of a woman. I think of night, fire, the closeness of the jungle and lust. It's quite brutal, but the sweetness of vanilla, glowing like coals in a fire, makes you feel warm and safe.

Though not listed, there’s definitely an Iris/orris style note in 21:50 that gives it that buttery smooth, powdery vanilla effect. It’s very Celine-esq, particularly with that vanilla-Orris combo Celine uses on repeat. Honestly, I could wear this everyday. It’s signature scent worthy. I agree with the comparisons to Black Tie and Nightclubbing, but 21:50 just feels like it’s got a little more zest for life with the plum note.

This is a lovely fragrance, and while I like all the VBB lineup this is my favourite. It’s a dark, almost smoky vanilla and there is an earthy undertone, which I imagine is a combination of the plum and cedarwood notes. It smells autumnal, so a great idea to release in October. It reminds me of November by CB I Hate Perfume, but a more complex vanillic version. It’s priced in the luxury range, and in my opinion is worth it.

This is the first tobacco sent I have ever enjoyed, and I’m obsessed. Absolute love at first sniff, I can’t stop smelling my wrist when I wear this. It’s sweet and smokey and cozy with a lot of vanilla. If you don’t like the smell of very realistic tobacco or sweet syrupy vanilla, you won’t like this. This is the perfect cold weather scent but i love it so much I wear it a lot before i go to bed. So cozy and sexy!

I adore this perfume. I am in no way a VB fan, and this isn’t my usual DNA preference (not being a fan of tobacco) but I gave this a sniff out of curiosity and have been obsessed with it ever since. It’s my comfort, safe place in a warm friendly hug scent. Warm, cosy sweet vanilla plum chocolate with a little woody tabacco to really ground it. I love to spray it on my bed and I can smell it for days.

Someone said "something about this is giving freshly turned soil vibe, like when you’re getting your garden ready for a new season".. Wow...I actually saw the picture and smell it... Nice description. Muy rico vanilla sweet tabacco woody smooth... is almost like mossy, musty humidity, earthy... with oud but soft, like wet soil. Super unique parfum. I adore it. Unisex. Not for everyone..

This is warm and sophisticated. The trail on this one is mesmerizing, bewitching in a way. Different than Black Tie but in the same vein though. The sugar and woodsy notes are just so vibrant!! Black Tie has more of a powdery vibe and is a lot less sweet than 21:50 Rêverie... I am impressed by this one from Victoria Beckham. It’s the best out of all four! Definitely worth a try!!!🖤🖤🖤

Gosh... how people can be so mean. Leaving terrible rates even before the fragrance was in the market, really?! How hate do people have about Victoria Beckham? Keep in mind that there is a fragrance behind and it is Jérôme Epinette. And, wrong information from Fragrantica. This perfume is not only for women. This a Genderless Fragrance which means Unissex whixh means Men and Women.

I am shocked that i love 4/4 fragrances from VB collection. But this one has me quite literally in a chokehold, same goes for Portofino 97 but that is my summer fragrance. I cant stop smelling this and i need a full bottle immediately. The tobacco threw me a little off guard in the beginning but the more i smelled it the more it blended so perfectly and sweet with the vanilla.

Sexy as anything. My new favourite. Strong, deep, warm, almost moody but sweet at the same time. Has an air of confidence about it. I don’t particularly like the tobacco opening note but can get past it. The only concern is after wearing all day at work recently, my husband said he could smell smoke when I came home... On low rotation only due to the hefty price tag.

This is my favorite of the VB collection. It opens with a smoky tobacco note and then dries down to a beautiful soft vanilla with a hint of plum. I have never been a fan of tobacco in my fragrances, but I love how it’s done here. I think it will be beautiful this fall and winter. Definitely one to sample if you enjoy these notes.

Love this perfume. Couldn't afford it but was fortunate enough to receive as a gift. Lasts mega long, all day and still gorgeous by morning. I have since come to know that it is incredibly similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 - by wearing both fragrances! Relevant because one costs much more than the other, for the same experience!

This is so close to Happy Dust by narcotica, but with more smokiness/ash from the tobacco. I compared them side by side, and it is definitely in the same family . Happy Dust is slightly fruitier/fresh but the vanilla is the same in these two. Update 11/25/25- This is very similar to black tie by Celine but add more tobacco.

THE PRICE ;-; If it wasn't for that, I would 100% purchase it. It is so beautiful, feminine and soft. Sue me for this comparison, but this reminds me of an elevated version of Billie Eilish n1 in how it sits and develops on my skin. I will say that it's definitely long lasting and it's one of my favourites from Posh Spice

I am surprised by how much I have fallen in love with this perfume. It is so luscious. The vanilla and tobacco combination is perfection to my nose. This is sexy and comforting all at once. I reach for this bottle so often. I always want this in my collection.

This is a masterpiece of a perfume. Literally my #1 scent out of hundreds. Sweet, dry vanilla, balanced with subtle smoky tobacco and plum. Can’t get any better (other than it could be half the price).

Echoing the below - something about this pulls really rubbery on me too. I can’t really pinpoint it but it’s enough to prevent me from getting a bottle. The drydown is really nice though

I really like this perfume, but it reminds me a lot to Dubai (Anne Flipo) by Contes De Parfums, even though it does not have the same notes. It is very cosy.

This is class in a bottle ( chic little black bottle at that). Perfectly smooth blend of plum, vanilla and tobacco. Elegant, sexy and chic.

The first spritz is a bold introduction, where earthy oud takes centre stage. It's grounding, almost primal, setting a tone of raw sophistication. But it doesn't linger long - just as you settle into its depth, the oud begins to fade, revealing a tender heart of earthy vanilla. This is no cloying sweetness. Instead, it's as though the vanilla has been unearthed, dusted with soil and aged to perfection. Then after about thirty minutes, the magic truly begins. What emerges is a delicate aroma of chocolate, unlike anything you'd expect. It's not dessert-like, but restrained, bittersweet, and - yes, still earthy, as though cacao pods were kissed by sunlight in a forgotten grove. It’s nice. A smoky vanilla. I wouldn’t say it’s groundbreaking by any stretch of the imagination. It’s expensive for the skin scent that it is. Unfortunately for VB, I sprayed a Rabanne powerhouse on my other arm around the same time and it has absolutely dominated, whereas this has disappeared after about 2 hours. I would not pay £245 for this. There will be a wee Zara number which does a similar job for 10% of the price.

Just received the discovety set. All are nice, seem well-blended and interestingly enough unique, but this will be the first to wear and assess. Props to presentation, the packaging of just the discovery set is impressive. Little bougie flair. Small details, including the box in which it was sent being custom to the size of the set, are polished. Love that. The Maker's discovery was as fun.

Ok, this is bad on me which I'm really surprised about as I love tobacco, plum, tonka and vanilla. First 10-30 minutes all I can smell is something my brain is interpreting as an almost cheese-like smell which is really disconcerting. No tobacco or plum, possibly some vanilla in the background. Then the drydown for hours and hours on end is straight up Iso E Super which is not in the notes, but is an aromachemical that hugely amps up on my skin and wipes out any other nuances of the scent. If this doesn't contain Iso E Super it may be the cedar, vanilla and Tonka playing badly together and imitating the aroma chemical. All in all this is a nope for me, if I want to smell like this there are plenty of other cheaper fragrances stuffed full of Iso E Super which I really dont like very much

My daughter describes this as chocolatey tobacco - for me, it's cigarwttes mingled with cigars. I much prefer the campfire and chestnut scent of 'By the fireplace' and wouldn't purchase this

Cheap aftershave in a room that smells of yesterday's cigarettes. Not harrowing but not how I would choose to smell.

I am so sorry to those who love this, but it is not for me at all. The discovery set is beautifully presented, I will say. I get a distracting fecal and dry earth oud right at first sniff. I love animalics, but this is too realistically poopy for me. This perfume, like all in the set, is very light and some notes I am having a hard time even smelling at all so I wonder if it is aroma chemicals messing with my sense of smell here? All I can smell is the oud (?) with a slight soft, mildly sweet vanilla. I guess I don't get it. I am not sure whether to bother leaving reviews of the others because I was not impressed with any of them. I hate to be overly negative. They all have a low end Middle Eastern vibe and are somewhat synthetic overall. But try for yourselves as they seem to be very well liked. I am clearly the outlier and I don't care for a lot of oud in general.

This is beautiful, and very likable- though it admittedly smells like a candle- except this one note that reads exactly like old mans' breath. I want to say it's jasmine but I don't see that in the note breakdown. Its very strong on me and persists throughout the drydown. If you can get past that, good on ya. I personally cannot.

I had high hopes based on the perfumer and the notes. It smells odd from first spray, and disapears very quickly, no lasting power. Nothing exciting to note. Was trying very hard to don't judge it based on being a V Beckham perfume.

Tested this in store. Similar to Bianco Latte and less so not some resemblance to Milk Community range. Smells synthetic to my nose, you have to like that type of beast synthetic vanilla scent

It truly does not smell like black tie to me. The entire Victoria Beckham beauty fragrance series is mostly suited for Sephora tier perfume experiences and I find them generously overpriced

I wanted to like this one, but unfortunately the vanilla and tonka bean come off as very “rubbery” to me.

Earthy woody raw vanilla with a touch of sweetness. In no way sickly, unlike a lot of vanilla perfumes. Unlike any vanilla I’ve ever tried. I confess to having blind purchased this, but after doing a lot of research online about the notes so it was a blind yet informed purchase. While I normally don’t recommend blind buying any perfume, this perfume is really beautiful and I’m really glad to have bought it. It’s a warm and cosy scent and as another reviewer stated, ideal to launch in Autumn/fall. While it can be daytime or nighttime, it’s probably more a nighttime perfume, particularly for special occasions. It’s marketed as being unisex but I think it’s more on the feminine side. Like the other Victoria Beckham perfumes, it smells pricey. The bottle is heavy and is of very high quality. My only criticism is that I wish they did refills as the bottle is so beautiful and of such high quality, I know I’m going to have a huge amount of trouble throwing it out once it’s empty. I really love how the Victoria Beckham perfume bottles link the colour of bottles with the character of the perfume and the story behind the perfume. I also own San Ysidro Drive and Positano 97. I don’t have Suite 302 as I’m not a fan of the Tobacco notes in that one. I should also state I normally don’t do celebrity perfumes at all. I have around 120-130 different perfumes in my collection and Victoria Beckham is the first celebrity skincare/makeup or perfume brand I’ve ever purchased. I have been so impressed with VB perfume I’ve also since tried her skincare and makeup - once again really high quality products with amazing presentation and packaging. None of it is cheap but you’re getting the highest quality for your money. Some brands rely on their name in order to charge exorbitant prices for their otherwise average quality products but not this. This perfume is absolutely beautiful and I would definitely repurchase. I think I am going to have to try more Jerome Epinette perfumes as he has really excelled in creating the VB perfumes.

The Victoria Beckham Beauty range has very recently arrived in Australia, and I was super keen to get my nose on her latest perfume range. In my early twenties, I wore copious amounts of the now-discontinued Intimately Beckham Night for Women, a warm-spicy white floral in a similar vein to Dior's Pure Poison. As far as celebrity scents go, her perfumes dominated much of the late 2000s. Now a fully fledged fashion designer, Victoria Beckham has re-launched her beauty brand with a more luxe approach, as opposed to the typical detached celebrity releases. Her latest perfumes are higher-priced, more exclusive and refined. 21:50 Rêverie intrigued me with its scent pyramid, matte black and gold packaging, and its elusive name. I was expecting a rich, dense and luxurious vanilla, tonka bean and tobacco blend, and was rather surprised to be met with a soft, somewhat subdued fragrance that wears relatively close to the skin. I was admittedly anosmic to this fragrance initially, needing to sniff some coffee beans to detect the opening top notes. Once able to smell this fragrance fully, I was greeted with a dry tobacco leaf accord and a juicy, ripe plum note that quickly established itself as an androgynous, unisex scent. As it transitions to the base, the star of the show is a deep, raw vanilla pod accord. Blended with warm tonka bean and a solid backbone of cedarwood, the dry down is creamy, slightly smoky, and deeply comforting. In regards to the projection, 21:50 Rêverie creates a beautiful, inviting trail that draws people in rather than overpowering a room, making it excellent for date nights or evening wear. All in all, this is a well-blended fragrance that uses high quality ingredients, however, it is admittedly not unique and not worth the outrageous high-end price point.
