Amber Romance Brulee

That polarizing Victoria’s Secret amber dna is definitely there , but the Tonka sweetens and smooths it out. This doesn’t smell like B&BWs Milk at all, as suggested, but would layer nicely. As it dries down it smells like regular Amber Romance, to me, which is only disappointing because I wanted the gourmand notes to stick around . Edit: Never mind, this is quite lovely! Yes, I smell the Amber Romance dna, but the sweetness of the brûlée actually stays. I don’t know what my nose was picking up before, but this went from a “ like” to a “ love”!

Powdery but with extra sweetness. The original has that distinct "custard" note, which can be jarring for some. However this is a really good flanker. I think it's the one that smells the most like a perfume tbh

No idea why but this smelled like straight up macadamia nuts to me. Not bad or unpleasant but I'm a purist and exchanged it for a second bottle of Amber Romance.

I've never been amber romance girl idk why i expected this to be different but it's still too sharp

SOOO much better than the original amber romance. This is the only AR flanker i’ve tried but I enjoy it. I really wanted to like the original but it’s too mature and does not mix well with my skin chemistry at all. I have the newer rapture body lotion and to me it smells like that but not in a good way. If you liked rapture you’d also like amber romance. It pulled sharp and chemically on my skin.. but this one is pretty. Powdery amber, a hint of tonka. I wish there was more tonka..and that it was more gourmand. This is a very “clean girl” scent in my opinion. When I first sprayed it I thought “clean, almost soapy, powdery, soft, elegant.” That’s what this is. It’s a very nice relaxing evening/bed time type of scent.
